Voxx: The Cooking Goblin

GENDER - Male

APPEARANCE - Aside from being 4'1'', green skinned, and having large pointy ears, Voxx has a small earring in his right ear, a rather large nose, a constant smirk upon his face, and is ridiculously bald atop his head. His facial hair grows only to what those would call a five-o'clock-shadow-all-day.

PERSONALITY - Voxx is charismatic, curious, stealthy, cunning, and always scheming. He wants to acquire fame and fortune, and will do anything to do so. He is also a dirty fighter as he'd rather slit your throat whilst you're asleep than fight fair. However, he is loyal to a fault to his fellow goblins and will do most anything to help and ensure their survival.

SUMMARY OF PAST LIFE - In his past life, Voxx was training to be a chef. He wasn't particularly special or good but he was able to get a job at a five-star restaurant. The place was eventually robbed and he was shot during the robbery.

SKILL - Voxx has the innate ability to cook most anything, make it taste alright (subjective), without the need for a recipe, and can do so with strange ingredients.

Name: Tamarin

Gender: Genderfluid Transabled Apocalyptic Disaster-Kin, but Male for all official purposes.

Appearance Distinguishing feature- a shock of red hair on his head. Has the consistency of troll doll hair.

Personality: Tamarin is curious to his own detriment. He has to investigate absolutely anything that crosses his path, and asks a question for virtually every breath he takes. He's adventurous, and loves anything unfamiliar to him. This constant state of wonder means he never considers other things, like 'Am I being rude?' or 'should I not have pelted that hut with fruit?'. He does things just to see what will happen and has no time to consider the feelings of others. He's very fidgety and hyper, and learns new skills quickly. At his core, he's neither well meaning nor ill meaning, he just wants to know more.

Past Life History: Tamarin was in his last year of middle school, and sang every year for the talent and variety shows. He always placed first or second.

Skill: An affinity for singing. He's very good right now, and is only going to get better from here. This doesn't translate to his regular goblin voice, which is rather high and unpleasant to the ears, but he can sing.

Name: Garou

Gender: Male

Appearance: Pretty much indistinguishable from the others until Garou uses his skill. Then his, normally brown, left eye takes on a red coloration and glows faintly because chuuni-mode has been activated. His skin is more of a darker green tone. No hair of any sort though.

Personality: Quiet for a goblin, Garou isn't particularly intelligent though he does have the advantage of being quite observant. Not prone to acting quickly, he finds calm in being able to simply sit down and watch his surroundings for hours on end; it's debatable how much he actually picks up and contemplates on, but he's got the patience at the least.

While not particularly daring and though his arms may tremble, Garou shows remarkable resolve and will fight tooth and nail to the bitter end. Whenever possible though, he'll avoid confrontations head on and instead watch and test things out rather than risk his life.

Past Life History: Died fairly young as a result of being bedridden most of his life. To cope, chuunibyou and day dreams developed as a method to escape his day to day life. It seems to have paid off in this life, granting Garou one of the many abilities he used to dream and wonder what life would be like if he'd had it.

Skill: Eye of the Prince: Met with Slight Awe & Maybe Fear. So, it's not quite at the level that his past life dreamt of, Garou nonetheless possesses a formidable ability. By shutting his left eye and focusing, he's able to manifest the ability to freeze an enemy that meets his gaze. Against a single opponent this can prove invaluable in allowing his allies a much easier time to take it down given Garou is unable to move too much if he wishes to maintain the Skill; something like loosing an arrow is quite possible though. (Assuming that level of weaponry is reached.)

In addition, it only lasts as long as he can maintain eye contact, fades away after he blinks, and requires a bit of time before it can be used again. While effective against simple minded creatures, those that possess high intelligence or cunning/instinct are able to resist or even shatter the effect.

Name: Shiba

Gender: Male

Appearance: the Usual appearance of a Goblin as one would expect however Shiba has scars along his arms and legs

Personality: Shiba is a smart mouthed rebel, he doesn't care about anyone other then himself. Shiba doesn't give in to anyone else's ideas or rules and will instead follow his own. Shiba loves to run wild and loves the idea of killing something and seeing how it tastes. Shiba will take whatever opportunities are presented to him since he is known to be an opportunist.
Shiba isn't inherently a bad person he just doesn't care about others who he doesn't know. Shiba can be nice to others but he chooses not to and he will work hard until he can be free and be strong all at once so that nobody will tie him down to any rules but his own.

Past Life History: Shiba was once an Olympic runner who came in second in the summer Olympics'

Skill: The Rare ability that Angelo has is great agility. This agility gives him better speed and flexibility compared to his Kin.

Male

Appearance:
He appears pretty much the same as any other goblin, with the exception of ever-so-slightly darker skin. He's got bright yellow eyes.

Personality:
Naturally he'd have been a pretty calm, quiet person; not being too fazed by a lot of things, probably a healthy amount of self-esteem, actually willing to participate in activities, the kind of "I'll only speak when I've got something to say" type, y'know. But, having that constant fear of spontaneous combustion just makes him (justifiably) really anxious and jittery. He firmly believes that it'll screw him over or outright kill him (not to mention it just being painful), and given that it can be triggered (for example, if he's more on-edge than usual, and something spooks him, he could light up), he doesn't like to do things. He doesn't want to hurt people (self-defense aside), or set fire to buildings, and he knows very well that he poses that danger. I guess to sum it up, he'd think "I could seriously hurt people, so I'd rather sit here and not take the chance." A little misguided, but his heart's in the right place.

Past Life History:
He was actually a pretty outgoing guy in his past life. Fire had always soothed him, there was just something mesmerizing about it. He loved camping, barbeques, beach bonfires at sundown, you name it. He was social, and often got friends together for those kinds of activities, though he was a bit of a straight arrow. Unfortunately, on his way to work one day, he was turning when his car was broadsided by a man who was speeding down the other road and tried to run the light. Both of them were killed in the crash.

Skill:
He's got a fire affinity, able to light himself on fire on command. Unfortunately, his degree of control is still rather weak, and this does actually burn him. He can only ignite his hands at will. Other parts of his body have proven to ignite as well, though he can't force it to happen. They're random, unintentional, and 99% of the time unwanted. The injuries to himself never seem to be horrible, so he must have at least a slight natural resistance as well, though they're obviously still unpleasant enough to cover up.

Will slowly sustain burns by his powers, and he'll start covering up the wounds in bandages.

Aestus

Gender:
Male

Appearance:
Aestus posses shockingly darker skin than most others of his kind, to the point of being black, a feature which he has always felt alienated for. This is made worse when his starlight-silver colored hair insists on drawing further attention by contrast, and his flawlessly pearl nails always appear as though they have meticulously cared for.

On the other hand, he can draw some comfort from his more "average" deeply brown eyes and his usual gangly limbs and extremities- a known penchant of goblinkind.

Personality:
Aestus is a bit of a strange one. Other than his aforementioned odd looks, he has never truly understood the art of "feeling"- he is romantically and emotionally hollow. That is not to say that he does not comprehend sentiment at all, simply that it remains an elusive and hard-to-experience concept for him. Rather than feeling joy or happiness, he may just know a vague pleasure in it's place. So it's always been.

But this emotionless goblin is not psychopathic in his lacking. He will rarely form friendships or seek mates of any sort, but on those rare times he finds himself in a group, he is borderline selfless- seeming to prefer instead to work as a team and benefit the greater whole. He applies this standard of self-sacrifice and mutual gain both to himself and the others he may have the fortune (or misfortune) of working with. He gladly tells all who listen that a man must die for others, if the need arises in the slightest.

But his tribe will likely put up with all this inexplicable strangeness for the seemingly mystical skills of his, which are only apparent when the moon rises in the sky. He serves well as a night-time scout, guard, hunter, or even warrior. None who have been asked can explain where or how this comes about, and the goblin in question doesn't even try. Aestus rarely ponders or considers the origin of his dark skill, he's just aware it is there.

Past Life History:
He was a simple man with a simple name; Ted. Ted the caver, to be exact.
Delving and diving into dark, damp caves or canyons was the only sport that ever caught the attention of this semi-recluse. In his past life, he had a small group of friends and a wife, but no children nor desire for children to speak of.

He died at the age of forty-four, on his birthday. He was climbing his way through an unusually dark unexplored cave only a simple mile and a half from his home, when he fell. Ironically, the internal cliff he slipped from was not tall- only a few feet off the ground- be the way he slipped was brutal. He discovered the rock he tried to grasp was soaking wet too late, and landed directly on his neck, snapping it. He did not suffer long, at the least.

Skill:
He is at home in the darkness: able to move, think, see, and react faster and better than he is in the dreaded daylight. This is not to a degree of supernatural ability, but it can undeniably prove useful.

Dark places are his ally.

Name: Shonuk

Gender: Male

Appearance: You're a green-skinned, four foot tall, ugly piece of work. Aside from a circular birth mark on his right cheek, he has no discernible features.

Personality: Shonuk is a rather blunt goblin. If he doesn't like something, he says it. If he does like something, he says it. Coupled with his bluntness, Shonuk is also quite impulsive. He doesn't think about things, he just acts. He enjoys spending time outdoors with the wildlife; whether it be hunting, or even just observing the creatures. It's all fun for him. And since he loves being outdoors, Shonuk is also always up for an adventure. He's not a great companion though, as his responses are often short and lacking conversational depth.

Past Life History: He grew up as a pretty average person. Graduated high school, went to college for a little bit, and then a got job. Animals were apart of his life day in and day out, Shonuk was a veterinarian.

Skill: Animal empathy. While he hasn't quite developed the ability to directly communicate with the wildlife yet, he can empathize with their feelings; their wants and needs. Creatures also tend to be more relaxed around him, less likely to attack or run away.

Other: Let me know if it needs tweaking, I've never been to good at the whole character sheet thing.

Gunka The Affably Gluttonous Craftsman

Name: Gunka

Gender: Male

Appearance: Four foot five and extremely pudgy, he bares a face that appears to be scrunched inwards, with a flattened nose, beady eyes, and an entirely bald head. If it wasn't for his green skin, somebody might mistake him for a pig standing on its hind-legs. The only facial hair he possesses is a small, pointed goatee that points out just under his chin.

Personality: Gunka is a glutton, but when he's not hungry he's happy. Despite his attitude being easily swayed, his opinions can be quite different, and as such he can appear stubborn, and unless you can bring proof that he's wrong, it's unlikely you'll be able to convince him he's ever wrong of something. Gunka wants to live to fulfill his passion of creating something without compare. What that is... he doesn't know, but he wants to make it, and he'll do whatever he can to survive simply so he can live out his goal.

Past Life History: As a child, he'd been born with a love for building, playing with blocks and ignoring everything else, and as he continued to grow he moved into a variety of fields, working with his uncle, a modern age blacksmith until he passed highschool where he then went into architecture in college whilst working in the construction industry. He'd always had the ability and love for such crafts.

Skill: An affinity for the use of tools, crafting, and construction.

Name: Jaarm

Gender: Male.

Appearance: Jaarm is A bit shorter than most Goblins and his skin is the same light-green leaves have in spring.

Personality: If one of the Goblins is missing some small item chances are Jaarm took it, not because it's valuable or he doesn't like the previous owner but because of the challenge and he is generally happy to return his loot when confronted about it. He also believes it's the easiest way he can show off his special skill and remind the others that he is not just a runt and can be useful. In fact he suffers a bit from an inferiority complex because of his size. A bit of a coward, he prefers to make friends with stronger or braver Goblins willing to help him if his habit of stealing gets him in trouble. Of course as long as it doesn't involve fighting he is more than willing willing to return the favor and help out his friends if necessary.

Past Life History: In another world Jaarm was a streetrat in some third world country forced to steal in order to survive.

Skill: Jaarm is sneakier than most Goblins
