"Oh shit oh shit oh shit!" was what was going though Hunter's head as the giant of an Ares kid charged him with the back, he lacked in height and strength in this fight, so he had to be creative. Disarming him could be an option? Or maybe taking him to the ground, giving Hunter the height advantage? Hunter knew this was an experienced fighter, so taking the time too test how much experience would be a waste, the moves he had to do for that could land him in a bad situation.

As Caden came at him Hunter figured he had to level the playing field, so he dodged, and he kept dodging Caden's attacks, he had too see where he was slow, maybe he could use speed somewhere, or maybe he could tire him out. That wasn't something you could do with the Dummies, But it was possible to do with campers. When ever Hunter had the chance well dodging he would swing a simple swipe with his sword, somewhat easy to block if you were experienced enough to handle your weapons.

Caden could see the concern in his opponents eyes, understandable when fighting someone like him, but Hunter continued to dodge and attack calmly. A pleased grin spread across his face as the metallic rings filled the air, blade against bat smashing together only to bounce apart every time Caden parried. They continued on for a little while in this manner, side stepping here, a swing there... The longer they went, the more excited Caden became, his parries becoming more and more forceful as the distance closed between the opponents. Slowly but surely Caden was decreasing each of their margins for error, attempting to force Hunter into a battle of strengths. Unfortunately for Caden, Hunter was much faster than he. It was his one physical flaw, lacking the same speed as his cabin mates but gaining greater strength in return. Eventually Hunter would figure that point out and use it to his advantage, so Caden decided to end things as quickly as possible. Swiping horizontally from his left to right, Caden aimed his swipe carefully to be close enough to spook Hunter but far enough to ensure that he would miss his head... but only by a few inches. Without waiting for a strike from his opponent, he left little time for reaction by immediately stepping forward with his left foot. Focusing on his strength, he aimed to drive his knee directly into the gut of his sparring partner. Caden might not have been the fastest but this blow wouldn't be easy to recover from, directed at slowing a quicker opponent.

Alistair didn't know what to do with his time so he figured that lounging under a tree would be good enough until dinner. While he tried to sleep he heard major metal-on-metal action coming from the area so he got up and walked over to it. Two boys were in heated combat, one using a baseball bat, that must have been Caden, Alistair only knew one kid who used that, and the other with a sword and hatchet. Caden was one of the best swordsmen he had seen at camp, so he hoped the other kid had some kind of skill.

After watching them for a while he grew tired and wanted something fun to do. He grew tired of walking and Alistair did a bad habit that he has been scored for numerous of times. He summoned a skeleton to carry him around. He was carried back to the cabins to sleep were he noticed a red head standing around looking at everything like it was some kind of monster. He approached her, while still in the skeletons arms.

"You look scary. You do know were you are right." He said to the girl while begin carried bridal style.

The Rebellious One

The summer smell hit him as soon as he left his cabin. His nose was filled with the scent of fresh breakfast from the pavilion, the distinct smell of the ocean off the coast, the scent of campers already sweating it out in the arena, and the almost humid summer air. He honestly loved it and it made his mornings rather peaceful. He typically immediately went to the Dining Pavilion after waking up, but something made him choose otherwise this morning. He had a call to the ocean. He hated his father, but he still loved the water. That part of him wasn't going to die just because of his daddy issues.

He made his way to the Long Island Sound and stared out at the water. He breathed in heavily and lifted his shirt above his Camp Necklace. This was his favorite accessory and he has never been seen without it on. He even goes into battle wearing it. After placing his shirt on the ground he removed his shoes and then his pants. He placed them in a pile on the sand and walked into the water only wearing his boxer shorts. His boxers had small pegasi all over them. It's a long story. He didn't need to remove his clothes to go into the water since he didn't have to get wet, but he felt no fun in that. It also took a lot away from the sensation. He continued to walk until he couldn't feel the sand beneath his feet. He hovered slightly leaving his head above water while looking around. After about thirty seconds of doing so he dove under the water and looked around. The beads on his necklace seemingly danced under the water as he swam.

He never worried about his father trying to kill him under water or sending a serpent to do so. He was known for that kind of thing after all. Despite it being his jurisdiction this was one of the places where he felt the safest.

He thought about heading to the arena after finally eating. He a lot of time there and it was still a wonder how he wasn't a child of Ares. He definitely had similarities with the kids. He tended to be angry a lot and he was an excellent fighter and considered one of the best at the camp. He wasn't the bragging type though and never underestimated an opponent. He might play around with them a bit, but he still recognized their abilities.

Death's Kid

Dorian walked through camp looking at others as they passed him by or ran in front of him. He felt sorry for them. A lot of them didn't know what was coming. He was sure that some of the ones that had stronger connections to their parents knew about the upcoming war. He was sure Chiron knew as well. He wondered what he'd try to do to prevent the war from entering the camp. The first thing that came to his mind since entering camp was breakfast. He forgot to eat the night before and he knew better than to try and eat anything in the Underworld.

He continued to walk making sure not to bump into anyone or get in their way. That wouldn't be too hard. When he finally reached the pavilion he sat at his table. He got what he usually got in the morning. Apple juice and pancakes with maple syrup. He had bacon on the side as well as some hash browns. He considered this to be a really good breakfast. He started eating while living in his own little world while others talked to their friends at the tables around him.

Dante Guerrez

"That is pretty weird," Dante nodded in agreement, thinking. It was fairly unusual to have no new kids coming in. Ever since the famous Percy Jackson had gotten the gods to acknowledge their kids more, they usually had a steady stream of them coming in, not just over the summer. "We haven't had any new campers in a couple of months either. That's interesting. I guess we'll ask Chiron or something, when we see him around." She said finally. She scowled as she caught sight of her brother across the camp, lounging in the arms of a skeleton who carried him around. Lazy git.

She turned back to Julia, replacing the scowl with a friendlier smile. "Well, I guess that means I don't have much to do, then. I'll see you around, Jules!" She waved, walking away and quickly settling back into her purposeful stride. She headed to the arena. She'd intended to show any new kids around, but if not she guessed it would be a good idea to work on her fighting skills. In a fight against monsters, she had it pretty easy because of her Stygian iron sword, but otherwise she relied on her knives, and she still some room for improvement there. At night she was brilliant, using the shadows to her advantage like a master, but during the day like right now, she was limited.

Jadaria returned to the main part of camp from the forest, skin dripping with sweat and her chest heaving for air. So early in the morning and she had already tired herself out, not that it would last long but it was certainly unusual for her. Being back within the camp didn't ease her mind any more than the vigorous run had, something felt off to her and it killed her not to know what it was. Sighing heavily, Jade jogged back to her own cabin for a change of clothes and a shower. Hair still dripping wet, she walked to the pavilion where the majority of camper were at, eating their breakfasts and chatting away merrily. Not a care in the world, or at least no one seemed particularly bothered by anything. That was until she laid eyes on a certain son of Hades, Dorian if she remembered correctly. She didn't know much about the guy only that he was younger than her and seemed to prefer his own company. Looking at him she could tell that something was on his mind, maybe not bothering him per say but there was a look in his eyes that screamed secret. Grabbing her food Jade slid into a chair across from Dorian, sinking her teeth into her bacon while staring at the kid curiously.

"Dorian right? You're one of Hades' kids, I hear interesting things about him." For someone with such a light voice Jade's eyes were incredibly sharp, latched onto the guy as if he were one of her hunting targets. Barely blinking, she didn't even turn her gaze away to pick up another slice of bacon; a food she was quite fond of.

Astrid Ashbourne

Astrid waved at the two of them and then was gone. Where she stood before was suddenly vacant and the air around her quickly rushed to fill her place. At the dinning pavilion she picked up some pancakes and sausage. Pigs in a blanket were the best food hands down. For a moment she struggled with the sausage trying to maneuver it into place while holding the plate with her other hand. After a moment of rolling food, she cat on the corner of the table with the plate balanced on her knees to perfectly roll up the food. Being so concentrated on the delicious meal in front of her she didn't see someone approach her from the left. "Um... hi? Astrid?"

Instantly Astrid jumped, her plate of food going flying, her instinct causing her to teleport away. Moments later she appeared back standing on the table holding an aluminum baseball bat. Already the bat in her hand was mid swing at the person who had scared her. The camper caught the baseball bat in one massive hand, dents forming under his fingers. "Shit Astrid, you don't have to try and kill me." It was then that she noticed who exactly it was. An Ares kid named Ray. He was nearly 7 feet tall, and pure muscle from head to toe. Ray was the type of kid that could win an arm wrestling match with his pinkie.

She yanked the bat back, "Damn it Ray, you don't just sneak up on people like that!" He looked down at his giant chest, confused at how he could sneak up on people. He was used to an upfront approach, sneaking didn't work out when you were as big as him. Rolling her eyes, she threw away the bat. It was ruined now that it was bent like a used toothpick. "I really liked that bat. It was a good bat. Very special."

"Really?", Ray's slow voice drawled out. "What? Oh no, I just grabbed it from a toy store. The handles made of foam." She moved to get off of the table and felt something squish beneath her feet. Looking down she saw a bowl of mashed potatoes, splattered across the table, nearby campers, and most importantly her shoe. She glared at Ray, as if it was his fault. It was his fault. He had scared her. That sort of stuff took years of a woman's life.

Kicking the bowl from her foot she jumped to the floor and shook her foot trying to rid her foot of the food. Still looking at her foot she spoke to Ray, "So... did you have a reason for scaring me or did you really just want me to beat you up?" Ray stood there confused for a minute trying to figure out how this tiny pipsqueak could think she had a chance at beating him up. He was almost two feet taller than her. "I... I um wanted to talk to you about our... arrangement. You... know my... medicine?" Blankly she looked at him, "What the hell are you talking about. I don't have any medicine." The giant shifted from foot to foot, nearly whining, "Come on Astrid! You know what i'm talking about! The meeedicine." He said it slower like it would help her understand what he was talking about.

Sighing she grabbed the enormous forearm and began to drag him out of the pavilion. "Idiot. Of course I know what your talking about. Just uh... wait here." Ray's jaw hung open slightly while his mind caught up with the situation. "I... uh..." Before he could say a word she was gone. When she got back she was holding a plastic baggy full of tiny pills. Steroids for the giant, like he really needed them. Suprisingly quick he snached the bag from her hand "Thank so mu-" She cut him off before he could get out another word, "Save it numbskull. I expect the green on my porch by tomorrow." Turning she paused thinking better. "Green means money, just so you don't mess it up."

Knight of Doom Slowly Becoming an Alcoholic

After a morning of greetings, catching ups, and story telling, Kiran was ready for a little relaxation. Almost unconsciously, she made her way to the lake. Kiran was careful not to get too close to the edge, though. Water Nymphs in the lake at Camp Half Blood were notorious for pulling campers into the lake. Whether it be for flirting purposes or fun. Kiran started to hum a tune. It was slow and peaceful. She let her voice carry in the wind. Closing her eyes, Kiran walked closer to the edge of the lake. The naiads rose to the surface, but not for any bad intention. They listened to the daughter of Apollo's song. Soothing and calm. Kiran let the strawberry scented wind glide through her hair and sat on the edge of the lake, dipping her legs into the water.

Kiran was use to singing in front of a crowd. It was her job as the Apollo cabin's counselor to lead the camp fire songs. Though, usually there were others singing with her. Kiran thoughts started to wander off, and soon her voice stopped producing sound. The naiads poked her, encouraging her to continue her melody, but Kiran was too busy of thoughts of what's to come. This summer was going to be wonderful, she told herself.

Eventually, the naiads grew tired of waiting for Kiran to come out of her own world, so they took the initiative. Kiran's rude awakening was into he form of cold water. The naiads had yanked her by the legs into the lake. Startled, Kiran let out a yelp, which only made things worse. Water filled Kiran's lungs as the naiads pulled her further underwater. Kiran gathered her bearings and kicks the water nymphs off of her legs. With her lungs screaming for air, Kiran kicked swiftly to the surface. Once reaching the top, Kiran gasped for the oxygen her body so desperately needed. She the made her way to land, coughing the entire way. Kiran drug her tired body onto the surface, now drenched. She sat there, trying to regain her breath, and expel the water in her lungs.

Death's Kid

Dorian snapped back to the world of reality when someone sat in front of him. Campers were supposed to eat at their own tables, but a lot of the kids ignored that. They didn't really consider it a rule, to them it was more like a suggestion. Syrup dripped from the pancakes on his fork as they waited to enter his mouth. He had paused wondering why someone was sitting in front of him. He looked up at her further and watched as she chewed on her bacon. He scarcely recognized her. She was someone who spent summers in the Artemis Cabin. He would have thought she was one of the Hunters, but she seemed to age over the years.

He sat there in silence until she spoke to him. What immediately caught his attention was that she knew his name. It wasn't something common, but he guessed after four years of being at camp people would end up knowing his name. Unfortunately she thought that he was a child of Hades. He didn't blame her though. They were pretty similar in some ways. He looked in her eyes as they were staring at him. It was almost as if she was looking through his body and into his soul. It made him more nervous than he already would have been. "Yes, I'm Dorian. But my father isn't Hades. He's actually... umm... Thanatos."

He looked away when he heard the sound of someone jumping and dropping their food. It was Astrid and she was trying to play whack-a-mole with one of the Ares kids. He turned away from that and back to Jadaria in front of him.

Mid-bite Jadaria froze, the name Dorian had spoken ringing in her ears like a bell. "Well that certainly isn't a name you hear often. My apologies for the mistake, I'll commit that to memory." She had been so sure he was of Hades' Cabin, his aura screamed Underworld... Unfortunately the Underworld was primarily associated with Hades, a misconception as she had just learned. "I didn't think he was the type to go out often, lucky for you he did hmm?" Plucking the last of her bacon from her plate, she pushed the dish aside to rest her elbows on the table. "Sorry, I guess I should introduce myself. I'm Jadaria Brookes of Artemis Cabin, both Hunter and Daughter to Artemis." Leaning in closer to Dorian she lowered her voice, eyes scanning the tables around them. "Can I ask you an odd question? Have you noticed anything off about camp since you've arrived? A bad feeling in the pit of your stomach or an unshakable chill in places you feel the most at home?" If Jadaria had to describe the feeling she would have said it resembled the air just before a storm, heavy with the potential for destruction. Just thinking about it was enough to send a shiver down her spine. Her original reason for picking Dorian out was just the look he had in his eyes, but that coupled with the assumption he was a child of Hades. Hades wasn't known for his discretion and distance with his children, but Dorian was a child of Thanatos, a being she was mostly unfamiliar with. Asking her questions was a stab in the dark, but she figured she would try anyway.

Julia watched as Dante nearly ran away from Julia. Weird, Julia thought quietly and raised her eyebrow. She shrugged it off and realized she was undoubtable bored. She sighed and looked at her simple watch on her wrist. It was still fairly early in the day. She headed to her individual cabin. It was still weird not having any roommates. She didn't mind the quiet every once in a while, but it droned in her ears for the most part. There was nothing ever to fill the silence. The blonde entered her cabin and grabbed her sword. It was a fine object. It was a shorter sword and well crafted. It was the first gift her father had given her when she had arrived at camp. It was the only gift, the only acknowledgment.

She sheathed her sword and walked out of her cabin. The day was bright and begging to be filled with adventure. She walked quickly down to the sword arena and saw two boys fighting down there. She let out a small laugh and headed to the side ring. A couple animatronic bots was nothing she couldn't handle. Julia got down into her first position and waited for the oncoming attack.

The first attack came from the front. Not very surprising, but she kept her eyes open and quickly side-stepped the robot, swinging her sword at its back. She spun around quickly blocking the attack that came from behind. She met the robot's sword with her own and a ringing of metal on metal. She ducked down in a flash and rolled away quickly avoiding the sword that clashed down. She turned to face the remaining two drones.

Death's Kid

Dorian listened to her speak and realized just how properly she spoke. She spoke as if she took etiquette lessons and as if this was a formal dinner. Even with his now close relationship father he still didn't feel quite lucky to be the son of Death. He wasn't sure what benefits that it provided. Did it mean that he couldn't die if his father so chose it? Was that why he hadn't had any demigod children up until now? That would make sense and honestly he hadn't thought about it until now. He felt that same sense of sophistication when she introduced herself. Jadaria Brookes. It wasn't a common name, but then again she wasn't a common girl. She was a daughter of Artemis which was something he thought to be impossible.

He was caught off-guard by her leaning in closer to him. It almost made him pull back, but he kept his ground. Then she hit him with the question. A question that he feared was the one that she would be asking as soon as she said that she had an odd question. He definitely knew what was going on, but did he have the right to tell her? She would likely figure it out on her own, but if he told her the answer now would it possibly end up causing a commotion around camp? He decided to go ahead and tell her.

He leaned a bit more and whispered to her, "I've done more than noticed. This is the calm before the storm. My father warned me of a war among the gods and how possible it was that the children in the camp will fight each other as well. This is a Civil War on a grander scale. Not just one between the Greeks and the Romans. God against God, demigod against demigod. He didn't get to tell me why the war was being fought though. My honest guess? A power struggle."

It seemed as if Jade had picked the right person to ask about her troubled feeling, an added bonus that he didn't immediately start asking questions about her heritage. A courtesy he must have picked up from having an unusual father of his own. She nodded her head as he spoke, his words lining up with what her gut was telling her... Not that it made her happy but at least things were starting to make sense. A civil war between the gods was incredibly troubling, especially with how involved some of the gods had chosen to become with their demigod children. A war on the scale that Dorian was describing could be catastrophic for not only Olympus but Camp Half Blood and the rest of the world as well. Jade sat back chewing on her bottom lip thoughtfully. "If my memory serves me well, something like this has happened before. The gods tried to change the way things were run upstairs, but I don't understand why they would try again if it failed the first time..." Jade summoned one of her silver arrows and began twirling it in her fingers like a baton. "Do you think the camp leaders know about this yet? I'd assume if they did they'd keep things quiet to avoid a panic, but we can't be the only ones to notice something's off."

Dorian quickly picked up on that quirk of hers. She bit her lip to show that she was either nervous or thinking. Both could have worked in this situation. It was as if on instinct. She most likely did it subconsciously. A lot of people didn't tend to notice things like that. He picked up on it all. He learned how to read body movements and behavior since that's what he's lived with for a while. People giving him certain looks or something similar due to an uneasy feeling that they got from him. He wondered why his mother wasn't drawn away from his father. Then again she did work with dead bodies all the time. Maybe that was why she felt comfortable around him.

He listened to her and agreed. He didn't know why they would try this again. Wars among the gods didn't typically work out in the world's favor. Things were going to get bad. He watched as she twirled her silver arrow between her fingers. It was honestly pretty cool. This however wasn't the time to be admiring something like that. When she asked him if the camp leaders knew he nodded. "I guess so. I don't see why not. Mr. D is a god too and Chiron usually knows a lot... I also doubt that we're the only ones who know about this. I wouldn't be surprised if everyone knew about it by the end of the day or week."

Blake Underwood

Blake and Leon went back to their cabins to get ready for the annual capture the flag battle thing. Blake and Leon usually don't rush in they guard the flag but MAN if they aren't the best. Blake walked into his room and started rummaging through his stuff and took out his old battle gear and found some old pictures of him and Leon. Blake teared up a bit and smiled, it was of them on the beach next to a sandcastle when they were just little kids. He searched for a pushed pin and pinned it right above his bed. He quickly gathered all the battle gear and he threw it on. He holstered his flute to his side and his violin on his back. He put his fingers in the air like a gun and whispered bang bang. He's such a dork.

Leon Longood

After leaving Blake for the moment Leon went to his cabin and went through his neatly packed suitcase and organized closet. Finally he found his Battle armor, special edition, always clean, press. What's so special about it? It looks like a tuxedo but its plated. Leon put it on and checked the pocket and in it was the same picture he had for all the years he had that armor. Two boys on the beach next to a sandcastle smiling away. He smiled back and put it back in the jacket pocket. He grabbed a rose and went on his way. As soon as exited he saw Blake pretend his fingers were guns. He's such a dork.

Knight of Doom Slowly Becoming an Alcoholic

Kiran finally dragged herself up. For once, she was glad no one was around. She made her way to the Apollo, receiving weird looks and a couple snickers from other campers. While she was embarrassed over the whole ordeal, she tried to play it off smoothly, which worked well for the most part. Many campers shrugged it off, but of course there were always those people. Kiran got a couple jeers along with a few cat calls and cheek comments along the way.

At last, Kiran reached her cabin. When she walked in, many of her siblings stared for a moment. Then she was bombarded by questions. Being the counselor, Kiran personally knew every one of her half siblings. In fact she knew more about them then they knew about her. Kiran was simply a great listener. But Kiran decided to tell them the truth. After all she was suppose to set an example. So she told them that the naiads dragged her in. Nothing more. They quickly understood, and many of them laughed. It wasn't unusual for these things to happen. Kiran, herself, laughed a bit before heading out to the showers.

After she was cleaned and dry, Kiran had a bit of R&R, and did a bit of organizing and pondering for the upcoming CTF game. Kiran was off her game, but hopefully others would be too. Soon enough, dinner rolled around. Kiran made a quick announcement to those who were in the cabin to make sure they knew. Then she headed to the pavilion walking with a newer half sibling. Nathan had joined at the end of last summer because of an accident involving his mother. He wasn't comfortable telling Kiran about it, but that's to be expected. So she spent some time getting to know him. "So how's your combat training going? We're going to need your best in the CTF game tonight." She said, keeping things light, but interesting.

"The training's going good, I guess. I mean, I'm definitely improving, but nowhere near everyone else's level. But archery is coming easy to me." Nathan nervously scratched the back of his neck. He was taller than Kiran by almost 6 inches. Which made him seem like a giant twig because of his added trait of being super skinny.

"Don't worry about it, any body we can get is useful. Also the archery thing is usual for an Apollo kid. I'm pretty bad at it though." Kiran admitted, showing him that she wasn't perfect. Soon they reached the dining pavilion, and sat down together, continuing their conversation.

Astrid Ashbourne

Astrid left Ray, standing like a numbskull holding the pills, in a cloud of dust. She teleported out of the camp around the world. It was her favourite passtime. Seeing different events firsthand. Not too long ago she had run with the bulls in Spain. That was fun, though when they got close she did cheat a little bit. To say the least, the spaniards were a bit surprised when she rode through the end of the race on the back of a bucking bull.

Currently she was in Afghanistan, helping out the locals. With a war raging its way through the country many people got caught in the cross-fire. She was using her power as much as she could to save everyone. Anytime she heard about a raid going on through a village or a town, she would teleport in and teleport out as many as she could. Over her time spent in the area she had built up a reputation. She was called a Dead Man by many because she had saved so many in impossible situations. From suicide missions to defusing bombs and mines, Astrid was a real hero.

She didn't really consider herself to be a hero. She did her fair of bad as well as good. Selling drugs and stealing happened just as often as she saved lives. At camp she tried to keep her activities a secret. She didn't want people to find out that she was using her power out in the mortal world. Lots of Half-Bloods would probably look down on it and not understand. Not that she gave a shit.

Astrid teleported above Camp Half-Blood. 15,000 feet high she could see for miles. As the wind whipped around her she soared around in circles. This had become a recent hobby of hers. It was like skydiving, but she never had to jump. If she really wanted she never even had to touch the ground. She could just teleport up when she got close to the ground. Laughing out loud she did a backflip in the air. The sound was ripped out of her mouth, but she kept laughing anyway. When she came into 1000 feet of the ground, she teleported onto her feet on the ground.

People were walking in groups towards the pavilion of food. It looked like they were preparing for an event, because everyone was walking with a quickness in their step. Were they going to play capture the flag on their first day at camp. Awesome, she loved the game. Though it was kind of like cheating when she played. Scouting the enemy was so easy, she had tried to make it more difficult by refusing to wear armour and carry a weapon. If she was caught out in the open outside of camp, this was exactly how she would be so she might as well practice for it. Whoever was on the other team was going to have to create some pretty unique defences to prevent Astrid from grabbing the flag. She smiled at the thought of a challenge.

Blake and Leon

"So how do you think we are gonna with this year?" "Well we gotta watch for any new coners and check our left and right flanks". They both stared at each other and then broke out laughing. "No but seriously we have a GREAT chance of winning, I mean Astrid's on our team again right? She can teleport and do all the hoo haa and wim wam. Plus there was this one kid who was JACKED, I don't know who he was the son of maybe Steroids? Leon just watch Blake make noises and chuckled, but he was honestly ready to fight but mostly have fun for another Capture the flag. "OH OH AND THIS ONE KID WITH GLASSES CAN LIKE WIELD TWO SWORDS ITS AWESOME!" He's such a dork.

"They're not stupid but they can't be expected to know everything, but I guess even if they did they would keep it under wraps until they had no other choice. Information like that could very well send the entire camp into a panic... I hope this year's new group has a chance to settle in before things start heating up." Jade sighed, looking around at each of the campers sitting in the dining pavilion. "At least they'll have tonight's game of capture the flag. Are you participating?" Unlike the Ares kids, it wasn't the battle itself that she looked forward to, it was the thrill of chasing after something hidden by fellow warriors. This time was a little different though... This Dorian kid had caught her interest as an opponent, she was interested to see what the kid of Thanatos was capable of, especially if he might become an enemy in the future.

Caden's knee connected with Hunter's gut, sending the guy reeling backwards to the ground. Following through with what very well should have been a death blow, Caden stopped his weapon just inches from Hunter's head and instead tapped him lightly on the top of the skull. "You're dead." He said flatly, shifting his grip on his baseball bat from his right to his left hand. Leaning forward he offered his free hand to Hunter to help him up, not something seen often from the Ares kids. Caden was all about sportsmanship... Most of the time. The kid had earned some respect form Caden, though it would never be complete respect unless Hunter found a way to beat him in combat.

Death's Kid

Dorian was never really the fighting type, but he was good at it. If it was really up to him he would sit out of tonight's game of Capture the Flag, but he knew that if you were able to participate you pretty much had to. He hoped the new kids would be able to fit in fine with this game. He has known it all to be brutal. He remembered the frenzy he essentially put into the first Capture the Flag game that he played. Of course only the heads of the camp knew that it was him who caused it, but it still didn't make him feel any better. He was just glad that he gained control over this death drive. "I'll be participating." He wouldn't dare ruin the thrill of competition for an Ares kid. "Maybe we'll end up on opposing sides. But you don't have to worry about that if the war breaks into camp. I plan to stay out of it." Dorian knew that he was a very capable fighter and would be a threat due to his blade alone. That's why he chose not to use the Stygian Iron as much against opponents. One scratch was all it took to torment an enemy.
