[IC] FairyTail: Golden Dragoon guild

Yu accompanied the two sisters out of the guild hall and through the streets ignoring the glared he received from the many of the men that they passed on their way. He didn't really care what the other people though at all he knew was that he had one girl hanging on his arm trying to flirt with him while even thought the other sister was ignoring the situation she was still cute. This had turned out better than he had thought and if everything went right on this quick mission than they would probably team up again on the next mission.

As they arrived at the clock tower, Yu looked around and frowned when he didn't see a note. "I wonder where that message could be." He muttered before looking at his two companions. "If its not down here than it would have to be at the top of the tower somewhere. I'll head up first and see if I can find it."

The clone magic user made his way up the clock tower stairs head of the others and as he got to the top floor saw that most of the room was dominated by a large bell in the center of the room. There wasn't many places for there to be a note hidden, but Yu wasted no time moving around the room searching every nook and cranny for where the note could be except for the bell itself.

"Isn't it a little smaller than it should be?" Chloe commented about the clock tower when they arrived outside of it.

"I think that it's more like we got a little bigger, onee-san." Elle replied with a nostalgic smile in her lips. And in fact it was true, since the last time they were at the clock tower was when they were little kids and came here to hide; they tried to run away from home after a disagreement with Chizuru but ended up list and hid in the clock tower until she came to pick them up. "Do you remember, onee-san? At that time we were so small that both of us could hide inside the bell at the same time..."

"Oh! I remember now, the scare we got when it began to ring. You cried a lot, didn't you?" Chloe said as she rested Buster Tsurugi on a corner and began looking for the next clue.

"H- hey!" Elle stuttered cutely before continuing "You were crying as much as I was!" She blushed a little when she looked to Yu. It was embarrassing to talk about these things in front of other people and soon Elle found her have getting as red as the clothes she was wearing.

"Ha ha ha!" Chloe gave off a hearty laugh "Yes, we were both crybabies back then. And now look to how we grew up..." It was a rare moment of deep introspection for the Blue Knight, but still the words uttered by Chloe sounded full of sour-sweet melancholy, the kind of most people get when they think about their childhood.

Nevertheless, it didn't took long before the Aoki sisters defaulted into their usual antics. And it came when Elle approached Yu from behind and disputed on his ear "What do you think, Yu-kun, did we grew up well?" If he turned to look at her, Yu would get an eyeful of Elle's mischievous face and turning his gaze just a bit lower, her ample bust. And if he did that has would prompt a flirty giggle from her, but of he didn't, Elle would just turn around with puffed cheeks and actually start to help them search for the clue.

A few minutes later, however, Chloe would find it hidden inside the bell, though all of them were too big for to get in there and retrieve it. To solve this problem, Chloe produced a thick scroll from god-knows-where and bit her finger before running letting small drop of blood fall on it very dramatically. With a puff of smoke three small foxes appeared around her and she said "It's good to see you again, guys." then pointed to the slip of paper with the clue and said "Dai dai? can you pick that for us, please?" The orange colored fox, named Dai dai dashed inside the bell and retrieved the clue, before disappearing in a puff of smoke along with it's packmates.

With the clue in their hands the Aoki sisters waited to see what Yu would think of this next one, Elle had already figure the answer, but she thought that it would be no fun if only they were playing the game. Though, they still had to figure how to get the Milka flower.

A small smile came on Yu's face as he listened to the banter between the two others in his party. It made him wish he still had some of his friends from the orphanage around still since they were the ones considered his brothers and sisters. It seemed like a lifetime ago since he had seen any of them left and wondered how they were doing.

He was pulled out of his thought as he felt Elle's presence behind him as she spoke into his ear. The mage turned around to look at the white haired girl to be met with blue eyes and a big smile right in front of him. There was little room between them but Elle's breast were still noticeable even without completely tilting his head down. Than out of the corner of his eye caught a small cloud of smoke followed by the appearance of three foxes.

"Those creatures seem to be very useful at times like this. If only I was good at summoning magic." Yu muttered to himself as he went over to where the sisters were looking at the paper and saw the list of items they would need for the mission. "Don't worry, I have the perfect idea for those items." He said with a smile as he activated his magic and instantly split into four exact clones of himself.

"Hi there. This is my clone magic that allows me to split into four different clones of myself." Happiness explained with a friendly smile. "I am Happiness Yu, while that is Sadness Yu, Anger Yu and the one with his arms around you is Love Yu." He pointed to each clone as they were introduced finished on the one that had stepped between the two sisters and places an arm around each of their waists. "Don't worry, I'm sure we will all become good friends here." Love said with another smile.

"Can we just get over with this already. Sadness go get the duck, Happiness get the jar of spiders and Love go get the goat milk. We will all meet up at the hill where the milka flower grows." Each clone nodded at the instructions issued except for Love that shook his head. "How about you go get the milk Anger while I keep these lovely sisters company." Each Yu rolled their eyes before leaving the watch tower not wanting to argue the point with Love as they knew how stubborn they could be. "Well then, while they are retrieving the rest of the items. Shall we make our way to the forest and find this milka flower." Love let go of the sisters and walked over to the staircase and waited for the two to follow after him.

[Crimson Raven]

Alistair looked up, feeling more or less human again after his third cup of coffee. He noticed several others sighing up for jobs. Oh, right. Jobs. Cash. Bill. He thought blearily. He saw Chizaru creeping up out of the corner of his eye. He heaved a mental sigh, and cast an Aether-enhanced speed spell. In a blur, he seemed to teleport across the room to stop infront of the Request board, leaving Chizaru holding empty air and a knocked over barstool. He sipped the last bit of his coffe while he looked over the Job requests. Hmm...Monster Slaying or island clearing... The island clearing has a bunch already, I think I will take the Monster Slaying. He searched around, patting his pockets for a writing utensil. He sighed as he couldn't find one. He held up a finger, which started to emit a faint slivery glow. He inscribed his name with his finger in small, graceful, silvery glowing letters. There. He thought, satisfied.

[Jones Sparrow]

"We finally made it!!"

"We would have gotten here sooner if we just took a train for once..."

"YOU KNOW I HATE THOSE MOVING STEAM POWERED MONSTERS!"

"You won't even hesitate to fight all of Fiore's wizards, but are terrified of a train."

"Hey, shut up, I can't control my motion sickness, and we got here didn't we? Now where do you think the Guild is?"

Raymond "Diamond Back" Grace stood on top of a hill just on the outskirts of the city. His emerald green eyes scanned the town with excitement and youth. A slight breeze moved the sash on his arm, and then he laughed and pointed at the large building shaped like a dragon skull. "There! That's gotta be it!" On Raymond's shoulder was a cat, except this one could walk, talk, and use magic to fly. He was Raymond's best friend. "Looks like a magic guild hall to me!" Roger said with a nod of agreement, jumping off Ray's shoulder. He glanced over at Ray and smiled. "Race ya to it."

Raymond gave a devilish grin.

Roger flew quickly down the paved streets, angel wings on his back as he dodged civilians and their annoyed shouting, merchant stands, and carriages. As he flew through what looked like a merchant market, sniffed the air, and then suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. He looked over at a fruit stand, and his eyes went wide. Fluttering over to it, he pointed at a basket. "Are those fresh raspberries?" Roger asked, smacking his lips. "Why, yes they are! Just picked this morning by my wife! The whole bag is 10JW!" The merchant said with a smile. Roger eagerly reached inside his small vest pocket, searching for coins, but he stopped when he heard a sound that was similar to thunder. He looked in the direction, and his face turned to pure fear and panic. "WAAAAAAHHHH!"

In a blink of an eye Roger was hit in mid air by something that was extremely fast. To passerby's, they only caught a glimpse of something that looked like a shiny wheel going at incredible speeds, but it was actually Raymond. He was a Diamond Dragon Slayer. One of his abilities was to curl up in a ball, and the outer edges of his skin turned to pure diamond, making him a ball of unstoppable force. He flew by people, ricocheted off of buildings, making sharp turns. Roger was stuck to the outer edge of Ray, still screaming.

But their journey came to an abrupt halt as they hit the base of a stair case, sending them flying through the air. They came in contact with a heavy wooden door, but it burst open due to the force of impact. The two of them landed hard in the entrance of the building. Raymond sat up, his eyes swirling, his hands up in victory. "Did I win?!" He asked, a stupid grin on his face. "Roger?" Ray eventually asked. Roger was still on the ground, groaning and muttering something about cheating. Raymond's vision soon came to focus, and he took in the large hall that they burst in to.

Dining tables were scattered everywhere, a billboard was near a wall, and a bar served breakfast food. Raymond's expert nose smelled coffee and waffles. He then saw the the banners that surrounded the place with a certain symbol on it. The Golden Dragoon's. Raymond suddenly understood where they were. He stood up, picking up Roger and grinning wildly, taking in the place. During their past days of travelling, Ray and Roger would imagine what this place would look like, and who they would find. Although it was a bit off from their imagination, it was still quite the sight. The two of them stood in the middle of the doorway, not noticing the looks they got from bursting the door open, or the people coming and going. This was awesome!!

Feon turned to see a poor naked girl on the floor. She quickly ran to her room and grabbed a blanket before bringing it to the girl. "Are you alright?" Feon asked. She did hate the resident prankster, though due to her personality he knew well enough to stay away from her. Feon was a scary person when she snapped after all. "I'm really sorry you had to deal with that." Feon added as she wrapped the girl in the blanket hopeing to warm her up.

Cinia and Linia along with everyone else who had taken the Island Mission were now on a boat. They were just coming into view of the island. It didn't look like it was over run by monsters though, and it wasn't a huge island either. There were villagers waving at them. At this point Cinia and Linia turned to the group that was with them. Their expressions a bit nervouse, Cinia was holding Linia's hand as Cinia began to talk. "So we are from this island, and I'm afraid that what was written on the mission wasn't entirely accurate. You see, our island does have some monsters, but we have been having quite a bit of trouble with a specific monster." Cinia said to them hoping that the group wouldn't get mad at them for being lied to.

"He is very large, we call him Bantaur." Linia said speaking up. Cinia used her ink pen on a paper to draw the creature(It's Godzilla). Though his size wasn't even fully shown in this picture. "The actual mission is to help us to get to the temple deep within the island. There we are to perform a ritual to summon the great Mila who will aid to putting down Bantaur." Cinia continued as she stepped forward to the others. "There are many monsters in the forest however that we do need help in defeating so that we may reach the ritual site." Cinia finished. "Are there any questions?" Linia asked everyone while trying to stay close to her sister.

The sisters got very flustered once Love!Yu wrapped his arms around their waists, even Chloe who's usually oblivious to this kind of thing, got a visible blush on her face for having a boy hugging her in such a way. Though, Elle still took the grand prize for getting even her ears as red as a tomato "W- wha- wha!" she kept spurting incoherent babble, while Chloe laughed so hard that tears were starting to well on her eyes "Hahaha!".

Both sisters were having quite a good time in the company of Yu, and so none of them noticed how the time was flying as they walked around the city, waiting for the other Clone!Yus to collect the items they needed. Only when their stomachs began to growl, and the clock struck twelve that they noticed how things were going faster.

"How about we find a place to eat?"

"I know a place nearby, we can get there in no time."

A little later...

"Say, it looks more like we are on a date than on a mission, right?" Chloe let out this outrageous line (on Elle's view) quite innocently, after they arrived at the place Elle told them about. It was an small café with a big open air area, decorated with lots of flower pots and even a miniature fountain. The café was actually run by another mage guild, and had a lot of customers for its... erm, unique staff and very good menu, specialized in cupcakes and herbal teas from exotic places.

"Wha- what are you saying, you dumb onee-san? You're going to make Yu-kun uncomfortable." Elle stuttered, despite the fact that she was the one blushing.

[Melkor]

Lucas and Melvus

The wind blew in, seemingly, every direction rocking the ship and propelling it along its path toward the island. Lucas didn't bother finding out the name, he didn't care much. So long as it was a place he hadn't been before so he could search... He would never stop. Not until he found him...

Melvus hunched over in his chair, below deck, reading about different magic types and enchantments. Layered magic...? Rather than simply using one magic circle, you use multiple...? How does that work? He wondered if it would work for him. The book said that it was advanced magic and that an inexperienced wizard should not attempt it... He read on, now determined to learn its secrets.

It didn't take long for Lucas' to catch the light from the island. It grew in size until it took up his view, he couldn't see any monsters though... This was puzzling. As he turned to the twins to ask about it, they explained to the group. Well... Excpet Melvus, he was probably below deck reading, as he always did.

"Are there any questions?" The paper-make wizard said as she finished explaining what the plan was.

"Just one." Melvus had emerged from below deck to hear the plan. "Why would you keep this from us? I know that I am new to Golden Dragoon, but I'm not new to guilds, I was a member of Lotus for seventeen years. A guild is a family, we're friends even if we don't know eachother - if you put up a job to clear an entire island or one large monster along with many smaller ones, I'm certain that the guild would help as much as we could, I know I would." By this time Melvus had joined the semicircle of wizards who were listening to the sisters, his cloak flapped in the wind. He looked up, "That is a beautiful view."

[WaddleDaisy]

Taka looked towards the middle of the doorway of the hall with her stunning pink eyes, she noticed the twenty year old man who had brown hair and emerald green eyes. Taka then looked back down at the ice cream sundae that she was eating, a piece of wood from the door managed to get into it when the door burst open. When Taka's ice cream sundae is ruined, Taka will get very aggressive. Taka then stood up slamming her spoon down on the table, terrified sounds coming from anonymous guild members. "Do you need something? You've gotten some wood in my ice cream sundae." Taka said with a glare towards the man, eyes starting to become filled with hatred. Taka wasn't really friendly to everyone, but if you get between her and sweets she will get incredibly pissed.

Taka started to walk towards the man as she holds her fist up in front of her, fire slowly seeping from out of her skin. Her arm was engulfed with flames as she walked gritting her teeth in anger.

Raymond was still admiring the place, wondering where he could go to see if he could join, when he heard a voice call out to what appeared to be him. He looked across the hall to see a woman looking-- no, GLARING at him. Raymond looked around to the dented wooden doors, seeing that chips had flown out on his dramatic entrance. He saw that guild members were staring at him with sympathy, and he also noticed that the woman was walking towards him, her pink eyes still glowing with what he could guess was hatred. Roger still in his hand, Raymond gave an innocent smile. "Heheh, sorry about that!" Ray said, looking at her, and then his smile disappearing when his friendliness didn't stop her glare. "I uh... you see Roger and I" Raymond held up the small cat from his vest, he let out a moan, still dizzy from the race. "Traveled here to see if we could join this guild..." Ray gave another weak smile, but it was no use. Flames were erupting from her arms, and he felt like he wasn't starting off on the right foot.

The forearm that wasn't holding Roger went in front of him. The tan skin turned paler and paler, more shiny, and gleaming. His whole arm turned to pure diamond. "Look, lady--" He wasn't taught a lot of manners from Adamas, but he caught himself. "Er, miss... I don't want to start anything... but if this is some sort of initiation, you seem like a strong opponent! It could be fun!" Ray said, a menacing grin on his face. Roger soon came to, and looked up to see the girl walking towards them. He gave a scream and tried to squiggle out of Ray's arm. "She's going to kill us both Ray! We should just go!" He screamed.

"But we wanted to join! And if she's testing us, I wanna show her what a dragon slayer can do!" Ray said innocently again. He didn't have anything against this girl coming up at him, he had no idea why she was so mad that he got wood in her icecream, she could easily just take it out, right? But Raymond was also not the brightest... If this was a test to see if he could make it in the guild, he wanted to show his potential!

[WaddleDaisy]

"Dragon Slayer?" Taka widened her eyes at Raymond, but then looked at his arm to see it covered in diamond. He's going to have a difficult defense... let's see how many physical punches he'll do to me. Taka then started glaring once again.

Taka then stopped in front of Raymond still holding her fist up, then dropping it down as she took in a deep breath. "Duel me. If you can fight well then you're worthy in the guild, though I don't make the choices if you get in or not. I'll show you in battle what happens if you piss me off." Taka said as both of her arms then erupted in fire and she got into a fighting stance with her right foot forward. Taka's hair blew back from the wind coming in from the entrance.

"Give me your worst Dragon Slayer."

[Jones Sparrow]

He nodded to her response of him being a dragon slayer. He had the feeling after traveling for so long that Dragon Slaying magic was a rare form, not everyone had moms and dads that were dragons. His expression turned to interest when she lowered her fist, and when she challenged him to a duel, and that he could see if he was worthy to join the guild, his expression went back to a wild grin. He should have been intimidated. She was a wizard that had confidence that was a part of a guild! Guildmembers started to form to watch this fight, some making bets on the girl with pink eyes (who he heard with his advanced hearing that her name was Taka), and the new dragon slayer. Roger was now on the ground, looking up at Ray. "You got this!" Roger said with a smile. Ray looked down and nodded with a smile. "Thanks!" Roger ran off to join the small crowd.

Ray was a bit nervous to be fighting in such a nice place. He was sure there will be broken objects, but the crowd that was forming, and Taka in battle position made him feel more comfortable with this. The fire erupting from her arms promised a good fight. When told to do his worst, Raymond got in his stance, the wind blowing his sash around as he slammed his fist together, a heavy "thunk" appeared "You asked for it!". He charged at her, jumping up, fist out. "Diamond Slayer Iron Fist!!!" he screamed, his hand covered in a mist of pale blue smoke. It was the basic attack for dragon slayers, but it does its job beautifully. To normal bandits his Iron fist knocked them out cold, he was sure that this wouldn't do the same thing to Taka, and he hoped it didn't! He wanted to see how far this battle will last!

Taka looked at the exceed as it ran off into the crowd, since there was nobody in the way of their fight. Taka can go full out in her fight against the dragon slayer. When the dragon slayer slammed his fists together to make a thunk, she could tell that he was ready to go up against her. "Physical. Perfect." Taka smiled a little as the dragon slayer ran towards her with the blue smoke covered hands, when he jumped she just remained standing there. The fire started to grow larger as it started to surround her entire body, she then looked up with a mischievous smile.

"Flame Body..." Taka said, when Raymond's fist made impact with Taka's body, it simply went through her. Upon impact with Taka's body, Raymond's hand started to feel heat rising up intensely in his hand. "Did you think it'd be that easy?" Taka asks as her smile turned into a grin, when this happens Taka starts to get cocky, she starts to get really cocky. "She's activated flame body! Living Flame magic is amazing!" Different guild members cheered out, Taka just ignores them because they get quite annoying.

"Do you all want to be next?" Taka growled at them.

[Crimson Raven]

Alistair looked up as someone else came barreling to the Guild Hall. Sure have been a lot of newcomers recently. he thought. He rolled his eyes as the newcomer accidentally angered a certain someone. He bided his time as tempers flared and the two started fighting. As soon as they where completely focused on their fight, he stepped in. With Aether enhanced speed, he seemed to simply appear behind the quarreling duo. He coated his fist in condenced water vapor and bonked Taka on the head. To the diamond boy, he grabbed his head and slammed his face into the floor. He fixed both of them with his signature dragon-eyed glare. "That's enough." He said "No fighting in the Guild Hall."

[WaddleDaisy]

"Ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch!" Taka yelled as she fell back on her bottom, the flames on her arms were starting to die down as she placed both hands on the top of her head in pain. "What do you think you're doing idiot?" Taka yelled up but then noticed the one who she was yelling at was Alistair, she widened her eyes and one word crossed her mind. Shit. Taka slowly started to stand up and crossed her arms as she looked towards Raymond, lifting an eyebrow. Then looking towards Alistair.

How will they even know if he's worthy to join the guild? Then again he's a dragon slayer so he'd be sure to pack a punch... and the exceed of his, I have to admit it's kind of cute... anyways back to the main point. He's got diamond on his arm, so that has to be his style of Dragon Slaying Magic. Then again Alistair is a Dragon Slayer as well.

[Satoshi Kyou]

Yuni looked at the person that helped her up and softly thanked her and looked at the clothes she was wearing earlier "it's ruined... i worked hard to fix that..." she said still shivering a bit... and walked to the clothes she was wearing before and just put them on considering she had no other choice "Ray! i can hear you! come on! down here in this weird building!" she called out to someone outside "wait... you can't open doors can you...?" she walked up the stairs and opened the door and jumped on the back on of a blue wolf "took you long enough ray" she said to the wolf as she rode him down the stairs as it could handle stairs better than his friend Yuni

"ok everyone here he is! my friend Ray!" she climbed off Ray and started to talk to him "Ray did Akuni catch any fish?" she asked her wolf friend as it shook his head and barked back at her "she's going to stay there and keep trying? yeah... you're right we are running low on food and your hunts aren't going well either are they?" Ray shook his head admitting to the fact he didn't catch any prey as of late...
"well i was going to apply to this guild because maybe i could find hints regarding my memories..." Yuni walked to the counter and sat down with Ray sitting next to her on the ground "this is the guild i have been hearing about right?"

Being a Diamond Dragon Slayer meant that you had a couple of tolerances. Diamonds are formed with intense heat and pressure, so Ray wouldn't get burned as easily, or squished... But as soon as his hand made contact with Taka's flame body, he experienced being burned for the first time. His hand went right through her, his knuckles red from the burns. He twisted in the air to land on on his feet and hand. He shook off his burned hand, giving a laugh and grin at her comment. "I'm just warming up!" He said. He wouldn't be able to touch her when she was in that state, and although Ray didn't have a lot of long ranged moves, he had a couple that could possibly throw her off just in time to land a punch!

Ray's face suddenly turned to confusion when a man with snow white hair suddenly appeared. "HEY! What are you doi--?" He was cut off when his face immediately hit the floor. Raymond was dazed, his whole face hurt, and he could hear Roger rushing towards him. "...okay? That Looked like it hurt." Roger's voice came to. Ray pulled his face out of the dent in the floor, glaring up at the man. "What's the big idea?!" Raymond hollered, but then immediately backed down when he saw a nastier glare than Taka could ever produce. These guild wizards are something! "She started it." Ray muttered, then he turned to see Roger snickering. "What's so funny?" Ray demanded.

"He kicked your butt faster than it takes you to squish a fly." Roger said with a laugh.

"Oh shut up!" Ray screamed, his fists turning a pale blue again, but soon died down when he looked over at the terrifying man. He was pissed that he was made a fool of, he was mad he wasn't strong enough to fight this guy. But like a lot of things, Adamas prepared Raymond for something like this.

There will be a time when you fall during battle. It doesn't matter what happened, as long as you stand back up. It isn't over when you lose. Its over when you give up.

Raymond's attention turned to Taka. "You're pretty strong! Maybe one of these days we can have at it again with no interruptions!" Ray grinned, giving a nod. The fight was fun while it lasted. Raymond's nose then caught something.

He turned towards the white haired man, sniffing the air, and then looking at him. "You're a dragon slayer too, aren't you?" The boy asked. He didn't know exactly how he knew. Maybe it was his speed, the way he used his magic, the glare.. He also smelled familiar. He definitely didn't smell like Adamas, but it had a faint similarity. Maybe a dragon scent! Roger gave a scream that made Ray's attention turn to the cat as he run up his body, hiding behind Ray's shoulder. "A wolf... The Cat's natural predator..." He said, glaring at the animal.

[LostDestiny]

Zander

Zander listened to the twins speak. He was slightly disappointed that it mission wasn't exactly what he had signed up for. "So we are body guards then?" He asked to clarify. He didn't have a problem with it he just wanted to make sure it was what he thought it was. He adjusted his eyepatch and looked toward the island. What he understood was the only real threat on the island was one giant monster. The job of the twins was to summon another monster to defeat the one the island was having trouble with. His and the others job was to make sure they got to the temple in one piece and, preferably, unharmed. Seemed simple enough if he had it right.

Layla

Layla got up from her seat in the guild and walked back to the board. It would seem nobody had taken the job with her so she removed it from the board and headed out the door without a word. She walked toward the baker's shop reading over the job once again. It seemed simple enough. Sit around until the thief came around and then pounce. It didn't really require more than one person.

After a couple minutes of walking he arrived at the shop and walked in. The bell on the door jingling when she opened it. "Hello, I'm from the guild. I'm here because of the job request you sent in about the thief." She said to the shop keeper who was present.

[Cuccoruler]

"I'm sorry we lied to you, we were afraid that no one would come if we told you that it was a giant creature that you had help us with." Linia said as she stood close to her sister. "And yes, you will be body guards untill we get to the temple, In order for the ritual to be complete we cannot fight or use our magic." Cinia answered as the boat finally reached the island. Once the Island an old looking man with a staff came out of a hut to welcome them. "It's good that you all made it! I take it that our Goddesses have given you the run down by now!" The old man said with a smile. "Anyways Bantaru has been plagueing us more and more, lately, he only leaves after he has stolen what food we have and eaten one of our own. There aren't many of us left anymore." The old man said as he pointed towards how few natives were left in the village. It was a bit of a sad site, there were only a few children as well.

"If you would like to discuss- oh no, he's here!" The old man was stopped mid sentence when he felt the ground rumbling. A giant creature came out from the ocean, this was none other than Bantaru himself. He let out an ear shattering cry before he started to approach the island. He was far bigger than the tiny village, he could easily squish the village by just stepping on it. Today he seemed more angry and normal too, intruders had come into his domain, and he wouldn't allow this to happen. He turned towards the boat that had just arrived and began to open his mouth, energy began to gather in his mouth and onto the spikes on his spine. He was going to attack the boat they had just arrived on.

Valak, who hadn't said a word the whole mission, was mostly apart from everyone else, simply watching. But not commenting. He looked up as the ground started rumbling and the monster rose out of the ocean. I feel like this has been done before. He thought. The monster let out an ear-splitting roar. With out fanfair or bold proclamations, Valak requiped Altair, and shot the monster in the mouth. It made a sound somewhere between a screech and a squeal, and shook it's head. Valak knelt into a firing stance and started shooting and reloading. Each shot was slowly and carefully aimed. "Are you just going to sit...there or are you going to attack?" He said casually.
