I think we should discuss this. I think if we straight-up call it a reboot it'll alienate newcomers. For similiar reasons, we can't start halfway through. We could recycle old characters if we change their backstories. Hmm...

I'm also here, guys, just didn't see the post yesterday. And about only having the seven kingsguard and the circle of seven, I don't like that. I mean, my character wouldn't really fit in as a kingsguard, but he wouldn't be a bad guy either. And to go neutral...

But you can still be a good guy without being a kingsguard, or a bad guy without being one of the seven. That just means that you have a special position, but you can be on any side without being one of them. Like Spoony or Hero.

In fairness, the Royal Blacksmith and Royal Chef don't tend to go on grand, Kingdom-changing adventures. We need more active characters. Ranks are one thing, but having Seven Elites seems like a bit of a lockout

Yeah. Both the Royal Blacksmith and Chef should totally be able to go on More adventures! Also, no gender restraints. I would prefer no restraints except that you are 100% loyal to the king for the Kingsguard.

Well before anything we should identify failings of the original RP. GM inactivity, obviously, but I think it also maybe have to much freedom without enough focus on the player. Sure you can be anybody, but if you're anyone other than royalty or the Kingsgaurd or the seven, would you really matter?

I didn't see much inactivity from the GMs end, but each to their own.

I think another issue is that no-one wanted to actually adventure. I made the trip to Krowsgard in the hopes that there would be some Kingsguard who were also aware of the situation and wanted to go, but it seems I was incorrect. There was also no need to hold strategy meetings when not everyone has a plan, and the one plan that is made was pre-approved. I was actually in the midst of a post saying that Luci had arrived at Krowsgard when the rug was pulled from my feet!

Basically, more action and interaction, less bureaucracy and meaningless discussions that neither build character nor advance the story. That was what I identified as the failings

I think the reboot should focus on a party of adventures in the middle of the war. That'd be more interesting than fucking around in a castle.

I'm also here! I haven't been on lately cause school's starting up monday, so I've been busy.

If we did make a reboot of it, I'm keeping Cleo as he was-- A female with a male identity (cause I worked so hard with him and I love him alot lmao) and also as a kingsguard. Truth be told, I wanted to go on adventures, but didn't really get a chance to. I wanted Cleo to be given a mission rather than just shoving him in the middle of one, so it'd be a tad more realistic and give it a smooth transition, you know?
