@Queue13 at work on my phone so I'll be brief.

All guilds are available, assuming you aren't literally starting your first time in Deep Ground you're free to have already joined one of the guilds at some point in the past. And while the Ebony Strykers have only been open fairly recently they too are accepting new invites, though there is a bit of a pending process if you weren't there at day one.

There are some issues with your character terms I can see, but we will discuss that in PM'S as to not clutter the ooc. Also the pic to your avatar is broken.

I'm fine with multiple characters myself, however I would suggest that you refrain from making multiple characters until you have your main/first one sorted out.

Lastly I hereby recruit you to Arm Slave’s glorious revolution, regardless of your personal affiliations, and thus henceforth Ye shalt follow my commands and whimsy. Now what dos thou say?

@Queue13

I usually don't like to review incomplete CSs because they are subject to change at any given moment, but let me say two things.

- The ability you have there may not have as much use as you'd like against Players and important NPCs, since it relies in some form of mind control (even if light). I'm not telling you to ditch it, just giving a reminder that you'll need OOC cooperation on these types of fights to allow such an ability to work. The second part of it actually can border on OP depending on how much people it can affect at once, since wars are a regular thing on DGO, so I'll let it under your further explanation and @TheWindel's judgement.

- Second the web site you are using for your image seems to have a problem with BB code, try using this link instead: http://i.imgur.com/xCaLVe4.jpg

Otherwise, have a good one.

You're allowed to have two characters at max. For the first part of her ability, I share the same sentiments with KoL. As for your second part, the aspect where she's able to stop combat altogether, that might be a little OP unless you're saying the Critical Chance is incredibly low. Perhaps it only works when enemies are not bloodlusted or some other drawback to that?

@Scarifar

Understood. Starting at LV 3 again is probably for the best though characters are most likely going to level up again anyway by the end of this first arc.

@Lucius Cypher Yeah, Ebony Strikers sounds cool. And sure, being part of a revolution would be cool too I guess.

@TheWindelYeah, for the most part I was going to leave it up to the partner's choice if it crit hit or not. It's only a one v one ability, but then again, other combatants could start the combat with the two characters. (Sorta meant it as setting the two's agro against each other to 0 with the possibility for others to build it up/take it away for themselves.)

Mostly used for gathering info for personal/guild related stuff was my idea. I don't mind changing it at all though.

@Queue13 I'd suggesting removing the crit chance of non-violence and instead change the ability to be more like a Avatar Scan sort of deal. You know, figuring out what their abilities, feats, and specialties are. Health, Cooldown counters, maybe their guild affiliations too. And make it all a stealth thing so that as long as they haven't noticed you, they wouldn't notice they're getting scanned. Just note that more personal information like what they've said to others recently or who they actually are IRL is strictly prohibited by Deep Ground itself (Privacy laws and all that), though nothing stops a player from telling you out of their own free will.

Yeah that's where I sorta trying to go with my ability. Although I do like the crit chance to hidden scan in-game stats a lot >.>

@Queue13

You're ability makes it sound more like you have a "Crit Chance" to essentially force them not to fight and reveal information against their will. What if say, you get an outlaw who wants to kill you? What sort of sense does it make that you get lucky and suddenly that outlaw doesn't want to kill you and for some reason wants to have a joyous conversation with someone he didn't consider more than EXP fodder?

To put it in this perspective, use it on a player character. Assuming a "Crit Chance" occurs, what compels the opponent to actually want to talk and not say, resume combat? Even if the chance is rare, the fact of the matter is that it's an ability that, if/when it works, will force other characters (NPC's or not) to do something they themselves would not want to do under normal circumstances. If I wanted to kill you, you'd essentially have to control my mind to change that opinion from going from killing you, to telling you vital information that I really have no reason to tell a complete strange I'm trying to murder.

Now if this was a more illusion based ability it might be more understandable, but also understand that illusions have always been one of those hit-or-miss things where either it works flawlessly (Which some people might see as OP) or barely works at all because there's a way to see through the illusion, and I can pet you that people will see through the illusion. Give them some means to resist and they will assume they have it, or leave some sort of thread and they'll spot it almost immediately.

Your ability, as is, would require a lot of collaboration and consent from the other Players (And even for NPC's like outlaws, you'd need to ask the GM's since we control all NPC enemies) for it to work out. Because it's not exactly free will if, given the chance, they can't say no.

@Queue13, @Lucius Cypher

Wouldn't saying the ability only works on the weak-minded be suitable enough? Since someone in bloodlust would be able to see through it. Though I have to agree with Cypher in that the ability sounds like more trouble than it's worth since it relies on collaboration.

Define weak minded. Someone who's in a bloodlust could very well be weak minded since they're so focused on killing that they miss out on minute details that would convince them to kill someone. For example, the difference between someone who's just really, really angry and out for blood, or someone who's going psycho and just killing indiscriminately. Both may make someone go into a bloodlust, but for different reasons and different mentalities. But yeah. It's more trouble than it's worth honestly, you're better off with an enemy scan ability. Much more utility and much less fuss.

@Alina13Sorry if it seems like I'm moving your char around a bit, but I think she'd be able to strut her stuff the most lending a helping hand to Arms Slave.

Anyways, post is up. Wooooooooo. -collapses back into mound of AP notes with Battlefield WWI trailer playing on repeat-

@Kimiyosis By the way, just wondering if you found Levi's appearance through search or pixiv, since I ran into the user's account. Thought you would be interested~.

Appearance (Real Life):

Height:
6' 2"

Weight:
147 lbs

Hair Color:
Blonde

Eye Color:
Grayish-Blue

Name:
Zachary Noris

Age:
15

History:
Zachary grew up in Los Angeles, California, where he spent much of his time doing... pretty much nothing. Yep, nothing, apart from schoolwork and chores, of course. His parents were often busy with work, which meant he had the entire house to himself. In elementary school, he often fell asleep in various places, and a classmate of his, who was also a childhood friend of his, usually woke him up and/or dragged him to class before the bell rang. He just could never muster the energy to do many things by himself. That was how much he liked to be lazy.

One day, he was told that he would be attending Purple Crown Academy. Zachary merely accepted the situation, not really keen on fighting it. Not that he even wanted to, except for the fact that his childhood friend would no longer be around to babysit him. There wasn't too much to worry though, as Zachary's parents were able to procure him a copy of Deep Ground. That way, he could still spend time with his friend even if they wouldn't see each other in real life as much as they used to. That was when Zachary discovered what he could do when his laziness no longer hindered him.

Personality:
Zachary is a quiet kid, rarely speaking up in just about any situation. He prefers to stay unnoticed and will spend time in his own little world. If there comes a time when he does have to speak, he does so using as few words as possible. He also appears to be quite listless, usually resting his head on his hands and sometimes falling asleep even in class. He does make the effort to at least keep his grades up in classwork and such, though.

In DGO, however, he takes on an entirely different persona. He is now a true devil, displaying an evil grin and showing no mercy to anyone or anything he fights, even laughing maniacally at times. He does whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

Appearance (Avatar):

Avatar Class:
Mage - Warlock

Avatar Title:
Demonic Hellflame

Avatar Level (Initial):
3

Avatar Guild:
Ebony Strykers

Avatar Abilities:
-Hellfire: Creates up to 6 fireballs of black and green flames that stay around Hellflame's head in an arch. These fireballs can either then fired at intended target(s) over long distances, or fired as streams of fire at short range (lasts for up to 3 seconds before the flames run out and the fireball disappears). Deals slight continuous burn damage for 8 seconds upon a successful hit. 10 second cooldown. Recasting the spell will replenish the amount of fireballs back up to 6 if previous fireballs were not fired.

-Wings of Hellfire: Creates a large pair of wings of hellfire (shaped like a demon's) on Hellflame's back that allow him to fly. Anyone who touches these wings is dealt slight burn damage for 3 seconds. Capable of stopping and speeding up in short periods of time, and can be moved as if they were real wings. Any physical objects will phase through the wings as if the wings weren't there. Can be turned on and off at will with 0 cooldown.

-Binding Hellfire: Creates three rings of hellfire flames around the target, which bind tightly to the target's body in a criss cross shape. Deals severe continuous burn damage for 13 seconds. 30 second cooldown.

Avatar Feats:
-Level 3: Monodextrous Casting: Enables you to wield a melee weapon in one hand.

Other:
He wields either a staff or a short sword in combat.

This new ability is much better, thought there's still one thing that could be changed. Make it based on avatar levels, not real world age, after all it wouldn't take much for your character to get private information with an ability based on real life stats. Maybe, a bonus against avatars of level 5 or higher and a penalty against those of level 4 or lower?

@Scarifar

Your character is good, tough I think those cooldowns may need some revision considering DGO's combat rules. I guess it depends mostly on what @TheWindel and @Lucius Cypher have to say.
