I'm beginning to rethink my decision to start at Level 3. In the ic, I see that there are people who're now Level 5. Plus, if I am interpreting what Windel said correctly, they're going to Level Up again after this event.
I'd like to request to start at Level 4 at the very least so I (and Queue and Mega Birb) don't fall too far behind. If we can't, then I understand.
Maybe you should make up your mind, don't? That's quite an issue since you do have a character that could potentially level up along with everyone else, but want to ditch him and build another one ahead of the other beginners. Is that really fair?
Well, maybe I should say that we are planning to allow people to rework their existent characters before the next arc (the need to adapt/expand things is comprehensible, after so much time with stale ideas), since we are going to implement a few changes on DGO's system (a heavy update to the game, IC-wise). This matter is still mostly to
@TheWindel's discretion, but I feel like your request will sound a bit unfair to the other beginners, for the reason stated above.
Summing it up, in my opinion, if you want to enjoy the benefits of a higher level, stick to the character you have and, if you want to begin anew, abide to the same conditions as the other beginners.
@Mega BirbRegarding your new CS.
- The real life part is ok, I can't really say more than that regarding this part.
- The avatar is missing his level 03 feat, you should go there and pick one.
- About his abilities (only the ones he currently have access to). The first and second look ok, though the crows look like mashed up mix of an AoE attack and a single target curse for me, perhaps you should shape them like either one or another, or at least be more specific on how it works. As for the last one, in my opinion, it's an absolute no with such a big senseless debuff that has the potential to turn a battle into a game of throwing sticks, even a 30% reducing to attack damage is a huge thing, nearly nullifying it is way too much, that's for granted.
Finally, regarding your question about portraits:
http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/91558-character-portrait-tutorial/ooc. I use this method alone. I know there are others, but this gives out the best looking and most controlled results. After you get the hang of it, it barely takes 10 minutes to do.
