"Ghostrider."Kyle answered. He could have give the boy his father's real name but he didn't see the point. The kid wasn't likely know who his dad was. But he would recognize his father's super identity. Most people had heard of Ghostrider. He had been around along time from what his dad had told him. The duty hadn't always been handed down though. Some had seen it as a curse but his father had changed that.

"Right" Kalinda said, deciding to keep an eye in Roxy for the moment, just in case. She didn't doubt that Roxy could look after herself but this place was definitely a hive of activity. "Still, may take a while to adjust. It did for me with so many emotions and I still find myself overwhelmed at times" she sat down at a table that was empty making sure Roxy was okay.

"I have chemistry as well" Phoebe said, who enjoyed chemistry, and most other sciences as well. "What do you have?" She asked, as the boy, Harry, seemed to have composed himself, rising, but looking down.

"The spirit of vengeance huh? I assume you'll be taking up the mantle one day." Ryan chuckled and nodded to himself. "You'll have to go after me one day." He said in a indifferent tone of voice. "But that's not for a long time. How are finding the school?"

Tyler was frozen, for the first time since he had died, someone actually cared enough to look into the darkness and see him. His eyes softened more than they ever had since his rebirth as she spoke, "Thank you Kassy...I can't tell you what this means to me..."

His cold fingers suddenly felt tingles and a burning sensation shot up his arms. He looked down at himself and then shot up out of his chair, "H what is happening to me!" The voice he heard in his head constantly, whispered through him and filled the air around him seeming to have been voiced by a ghost, "You figured it out my boy...The secret of my power is empathy..." Tyler's skin started to regain its color and Tyler doubled over as his heart started beating again, "All Hallows eve...a time when people gathered together in their homes to stave off the terror of the darkness together...this is my true power Tyler Wentz." Tyler gritted his teeth together as his body came back to life, but his only thought was to not cry out in pain to keep from scaring Kassy.

Even though Tyler was silent, Kassy saw the intensity on his face. His skin had changed too, and... well, he just looked like he was in incredible pain. Hesitantly, she lay her hand on his back. "Tyler, what... what's happening? Should I call a physician?" She didn't know what to do, and she knew she just sit and watch. "...I'm sorry, I'm sorry." As he was clutching his chest, Kassy lay her hands over it. She hadn't used her power in such a direct way in years, but she concentrated, her pupils dilating large behind her half lidded eyes. In addition to sight and sound illusions, she was capable of much more complex maneuvers. In this case, she had to trick Tyler's body into not feeling pain. She summoned all the pleasurable sensations she could think of- warm tidepools, wet sand on her fins, the gentle tickle of curious fish-schools, and she let those feelings flood Tyler's senses. Hopefully that would relax him enough, and she could get someone to find them a doctor...

"Please be okay. I don't know what I did, I'm sorry."

"Guns aren't that bad" Connor said, "dad made me learn to use one, before he'd let me even start on a suit. Something about how can I control the suit, basically a weapon, if I couldn't control a gun. I prefer the suit, but as long as you don't do anything stupid, you'll be fine" he gave her what he hoped was a reassuring smile, "of course you will be fine. They're good, they keep on talking about a vacation, but it's never going to

Kijani chuckled at what Connor said about his parents. She had met both of them over the summer, and it was completely true. She knew where Connor got his workaholic nature from, that was for sure. "Well, perhaps someday you'll have to shut down their entire system and force them out onto a nice beach. Though your father might go through minor withdrawal." She shook her head, giggling softly. Her smile faded a bit though, and she stared into the table. "...It's not the handling of the gun. I know how to... I mean I've... shot before. In fact I think that's the entire problem. We held some weighted replicas today, just to get used to the feel. I didn't know I wasn't ok, but within a minute I thought I was going to have a heart attack."

"I can understand that. I don't think I have felt so many things pushing at me at once. It is weird because I don't feel them on a physical level."It was hard to explain to someone who wasn't blind but Roxy thought that someone who picked up other people's emotions might understand. Since she arrived she had constantly felt like something was pushing against her skin. The feeling was always slightly different depending would was close to her.

"Maybe I will. Maybe I wont. That isn't really something I get to decide. Dad doesn't plan to retire any time soon. So far I find school rather dull. Atleast the people are interesting. It will be good to know what everyone's skills and abilities are. It will give me a leg up once I do take over as the Ghostrider." Kyle answered

"Sounds like a good balance" Phoebe said, "Is psychology interesting?" She asked curiously, liking being able to talk with her brother, liking being able to talk with any family, really.

Harry sniffled, uneasy as he tried to keep himself stable. He made sure his glasses were on properly, his hood down, before looking up, seeing Phoebe. He didn't speak up, instead he just tried to make it seem like he wasn't there.

Kalinda nodded, a habit which she realised a blind person wouldn't be able to see. "Ah. Yes." She said, "I can imagine how hard it could be. Having peoples powers press against you...when I first began to feel emotions, it was so completely overwhelming, so I can imagine. I could tell you it gets better, but I think it's more your own control gets better then anything else" She said, picking up her pizza and biting into it.

After a few moments of indescribable pain Tyler breathed in a warm breath, "Kassy..." he looked up into her eyes and then wrapped both his arms around her tight in a big hug, "You are the greatest friend I ever had!" he looked into her eyes again, "Don't you see! You helped me figure it out! My powers! They are fueled by the bonds of friendship that I make! I...I'm alive..."

@Eviledd1984Phoebe shook her head, "no, I haven't" She said, pondering that adjusting thing. Didn't everyone do that, in one for or another, during the day? "Ah. Why do you wat to talk with her?" She asked, curiously.

Harry didn't want to interrupt the conversation, so just got some food, shuffling off so he wasn't in the way, looking about the cafeteria.

"I don't know if I can get it better at it. My issue isn't power based but maybe I will get better at blocking the sensation." Roxy said as she took a seat. She hoped to get use to the sensation but not so much that she couldn't identify the powers that she knew. She needed to be able to identify the powers so she would know how to counter them. She needed to be able to not only be able to defend herself and others.

Phoebe gave a soft sigh, but let Nicolas go.

Harry slid in opposite Nicolas, and stared at his tray of food, swallowing. "I'm sorry, for...what happened. I...I lost my glasses, and I need them..." He trailed off, feeling uneasy.

Kalinda shrugged to herself, and began eating, biting into her pizza, she said "Maybe you can talk with a teacher, see if they will help you be able ot at least work out how to counter powers when you can't see them"

"Sure of sticking them to my face, I don't know what I can do. I was bumped, I didn't plan on it" Harry said with a sigh, tugging his hhood down in a paranoid way, as the old voices welcomed the new, engulfing it into the fold of the one voice he typically heard.

"It's not like I enjoy it. Jeez, that kid is going to end up dying in a few years, you think I want to know that? Falling in front of a train," Harry felt queasy just thinking on it, he didn't always see death visions when meeting someone's eyes. That was just in rare cases.

"Yes doctor I wanted to speak to firstly if you have seen my father?And secondly I wanted to speak you about the chemical reaction of the brain when a person is in fear" Nicholas asked her his hands resting on his waist.

Chase Seemed to ponder that a moment, "No, I haven't. As for the chemical reaction of the brain in fear, well, that's a little complicated. I will go for the basics for now, as a true indepth look at how the brain works with fear could, easily take all day. Fear is a chain reaction in the brain that starts with a stressful stimulus and ends with the release of chemicals that cause a racing heart, fast breathing and energized muscles, among other things, also known as the fight-or-flight response. Essentially, you're brain basically gets you working to fight, or run. Either way, it does it and your own sense of self, or your own protective instinct chooses whether you run, or punch what you fear basically. We can discuss more in class, if you come to my classes. For now though, class will start shortly"
