Well this was a lot of instructions seemingly all at once. Also the fact that they will be choosing their room is quite interesting. By Lady Violetta's explanation of this exam, it sounded as if the test will be different depending on the choices you make during its course. Ayaka honestly, had no idea what to think of this. "Personal Preference will change the temperature and color of the cloak?"

The statement Lady Violetta made about the special cloak she wanted to give them along with the fact that they will have virtual backpacks filled with basically things you'd take on a camping trip, aside from food, kind of sounds like it's a survival test along side testing magic. Ayaka wondered what kind of test this will be and wasn't sure whether she should be excited or really nervous about it.

[Aisling]

"I take it that we are the first ones to go through? Will we take one of our pets with us? How long is the test suppose to take?" Mystique slipped the new belt on as she spoke. The cloak was very light weight and somehow colorless. She was very nervous and wondered if there is any dangers in the room or not.

"Is there anything that do real harm to us? Are all of the rooms the same?"


"Yes, Ayaka. I do hope they work as well as the trial one. You two are the first ones to go through it. Zane will go through it after the two of leave. As far as what I know and it is very limited, The rooms are different. The time grows short girls. and the door is opening. Take care and do your best." Lady Violetta spoke softly as she stepped away from Ayaka and Mystique.

"Well, I guess we are off on an adventure, Ayaka. Let's get it over with." Mystique spoke as she walked cautiously through the door.

Elizabeth had gathered her things via teleportation; clothing, things needed for hygiene, two extra pairs of boots, books filled with knowledge of magic, and pencil and paper. Elizabeth could tell that this was no ordinary test.

She took one of the equipment belt. From the sound of it, it seemed to appear that this would be an improvement over the previous equipment. Its fastener was but of a simple light-colored leather.

"I am as prepared as I ever shall be," Elizabeth said to Lady Violetta.

"I guess I'm about as ready as can get for this," Ayaka said walking through the door as well after having gotten everything together that she needed to. This test sounded both fun and worrisome at the same time to her. The adventure part of it is what sounded fun to Ayaka, however, this being a test, she was really nervous about the whole thing. "Wonder how this is going to work though, seeing as how we get to pick our room."

[Aisling]

After the 3 students went into the hallway of the Testing Chamber, a very stern female voice came over the speakers.
“Your first choice is to choose which Choosing Room you wish to choose from. It does not matter which room you choose for each room has the same items. They are as follows:

Elizabeth entered the first room that she saw. It looked to be an ordinary room, and the only thing of which was out of the ordinary about how it was filled with things. She was to choose but eight things within it. Elizabeth took the personal locking diary with quill and instructions, a folding shovel, a mysterious briefcase, snow boots, climbing rope, a small boat that says raft on it, a machete, and a walking stick. Then she put all eight things in her backpack and left the room.

[Aisling]

As each person had chosen their Preparation Room, the very stern female voice came on over the speakers.
“Student, your next choice is which room you wish to have so that you can prep in. After you have chosen your Preparation Room and will have 18 hours to study, practice, meditate, eat and sleep before you choose your exam room. Please find a Preparation room now.

On the table to your right is your dining table. On that table is a new Testing PLTs.
There is a place in your new Testing PLTs labeled Meals. You may choose from the selections for your meals and snacks. The food and drinks will arrive in the food dispenser at the table.
You may sleep in the bed, use the shower or tub, just do not take anything from the room that you did not bring in. That includes extra food. The way you leave this room will be part of your Exam as well as what you order and did not eat or drink.
In your General Information Folder will be the choices of food, drinks and how much time you want to have before leaving the Preparation Room. You may have up to 2 hours of getting ready time. The Alarm will sound one time and one time only.
I hope that you have a restful time here and able to finish your testing with ease.”

General Information Folder

This area is design to give each student the maximum study time, preparation time as well as rest time.
It is advisable to get all of your Personal Items first because in an hour you will not be able to Teleport anything into the room.

The Clock is in a countdown mode starting from the time you close the door.

You may take one pet with you but you must transport everything that you will need for that pet.

You will need to leave the room in decent order. You do not need to make the bed or do any cleaning but leave things in such a way that it is not overly messy. Remember that part of your grade is dependent on all of the activities that you do in this room.

How much sleep do you wish to have?
The lights will begin to dim 15 minutes before you wish to sleep. You may override the order by selecting Sleep Reset. You must have at least 4 hours of sleep or at least pure darkness.
How much time do you wish to have before leaving? The most time you may have is two hours.

You are now on your own until morning where I will have more instructions for you. Have a pleasant time.

Ayaka entered one of the choosing rooms and looked at the items that she had to choose just eight from. Things like the diary seemed intriguing, but Ayaka failed to see the use for at the present moment. Other items seemed dependent on the location you end up as well as weather.

In the end, she ended up choosing climbing rope, hiking boots, a mysterious briefcase, swim goggles, box that says raft on it, machete, and a belt equipment package. If counted correctly that was seven items. After thinking it over for about a minute, Ayaka decided the last item should be the personal locking diary with quill pen and instructions even though she doesn't see the use for it right now. She figured maybe there will be a use for it later.

After getting that together, she listened to the woman's instructions. Now they had to choose a preparation room where they will be for 18 hours. Ayaka chose a preparation room and the first thing she did was read the General Information Folder. It got into basically being able to choose when to sleep, however, at least 4 hours is needed. That shouldn't be too difficult to do within the 18 hours she'll be in here. Apparently, she's allowed to bring one pet along with her, however, she had to decide real soon which of the three to take and all three of them can be helpful in their own way.

While thinking about if she'll take one of her pets as well as which one, Ayaka started working on getting her personal items

[Aisling]

Mystique put her bag on her bed for the moment and went into the main room. She sat down at the table and began to read the folder.
"Ok.... I think that since the two Ancient Ones can't really come, I shall take Ember, his food, water, a few toys, leash, treats then for me....." she began to teleport the various items of clothing and almost brought her PLTs but she didn't want to lost or harm it in any way.

"Ember, I can bring one pet with me so I decided on you. You might have to be on a leash sometimes but at least you will be with me." she spoke as she went back to reading. She clicked on the following items:

Mystique shut the Exam PLTs off and went to her room. Ember followed behind her.
Suddenly she turned around and took out her want and made the other items teleport into the bedroom.

"First things first, Ember. I am very curious about this briefcase. Let's open it first. It says to open here first."



An instruction sheet fell out of the one side and there legs there.

To use this suitcase, unfold the standing legs. Stand it up and open the top part. When you have it open, you will see a screen. On the desk area you will find:
2 pens to use on the screen
slide control for the colors
2 thought panels.

You will learn a new Ability called: Thought Transference.
To do this you must Imprint your new equipment.
Place your hands on the Thought Modules. This process will take several minutes and will tingle your hands until the imprintation is finished.
Once you have imprinted the Briefcase, you may begin to use it.
You place your mental magic slowly into the Thought Modules until the screen clears.
Look at an object and study the object. Note every detail for no detail should be missed if you want an accurate picture.
Once you are finished, look at the screen before taking your hands off of the Thought Modules. You can look back if you have missed a detail unless you have taken your hands off of the Thought Modules.

When you are positive that you are finished with the picture, take your hands off of the Thought Modules. You will see various options underneath such as Save or Make a Notation.

As she was teleporting various clothing and other personal items, Ayaka decided upon bringing Rikami along. She in the end, just decided it would be more helpful to have a canine with her for this. She teleported in everything Rikami needed, including his leash just in case that was needed too.

Once she decided, she was had gotten all her personal items, Ayaka went back and looked at the Exam PLTs for the list of food and started choosing that.

Breakfast: toast, orange juice, pancakes, and a banana
Snacks: root beer, pretzels, popcorn, and cookies
Dinner: fried chicken, broccoli cheddar soup, roll, carrots, ice cream

That being done, Ayaka decided it was time to check out this mysterious briefcase she decided upon choosing.

Mystique enjoyed working with the new piece of equipment.After she felt like she was good enough to use the equipment, she decided to try the cloak on and use Personal Preference. Mystique found that it was not very hard to control the cloak for she made it get warmer and hotter. This was a useful gift but it would be nice to have it fur lined. Much to her surprise the cloak became furry on the inside. She smiled and turned to Ember.
"How would you like to ride in a special pocket? Everything that I have tried with this cloak has worked so far." Mystique asked.

*Sounds reasonable to me.* Ember replied as he got up and stretched before walking over to Mystique.
*May I make a few suggestions since it will be me riding in the pocket?* he sent a picture of what he would like in the cloak.

Mystique took Ember's vision and added a special pocket to the cloak. She also added a second pocket to see if the cloak would remove something. Everything that she tried worked and Ember loved his 'traveling pocket' as he called it. Mystique finally hung the cloak up and got ready for tomorrow's exam as well as she could for the Exam PLTs would not say anything more except 'Good night.'.

Time passed quickly and they went to bed so that they could be well rested in the morning.

The voice had told Elizabeth that she needed to choose one of the rooms, and she would have eighteen hours to herself. She did not think that there would be too much of consequence that would occur during this time. She would, in a newly arrive PLT, order her meals. In front of her was a dining room table.

Elizabeth meditated for a bit. She supposed she would mostly be studying and resting during this time. Elizabeth thought to herself that she should perhaps devote herself to a manner of asceticism to better prepare for the coming ecam, but decided against it. Elizabeth thought there was no reason to put herself through that.

She would study things she already knew in order to pass the time, as there was nothing in the lessons she had not understood perfectly. She would have grand meals. Elizabeth took comfort in the fact that she was incredibly brillant.

It took Ayaka a little while to understand how the briefcase thing worked, but eventually she did. She practiced her personal preference thing for a bit. It was quite cool that the cloak actually did everything she thought of. When she was satisfied enough with how much she practiced with it, Ayaka decided it was time to rest before the exam. Her and Rikami went to bed to get some sleep before the test.

[Aisling]

It is now the next morning and the alarm has awaken you. You need to get your belongings together, eat and be ready to go when the voice announces that it is time for you to leave. You will have Rooms 1 to 4 to choose from. First one to post the Room Number, gets the Room. I will go last.

Ayaka woke up to the alarm and found that her breakfast was sitting on the table for her. She got up and at her breakfast as well as made sure Rikami had his breakfast. After both her and Rikami were fed, Ayaka started getting things ready for the upcoming exam. She put everything into her virtual backpack, but left the cloak out. She had planned on wearing that. After Ayaka got everything packed in the bag, she quickly made sure she had everything.

While waiting until it was time to go, she started cleaning up her mess in the room and even made the bed since that was how she found it in the first place.

Elizabeth had awoken to the sound of an alarm, or specifically thr alarm that she had heard about. She yawned and stretched, and then she took a shower.

After Elizabeth was done preparing in the bathroom, she ordered breakfast. She, true to her thoughts before, had a grand meal. Then with a sigh she gathered her things which were not already packed and cleaned up the room. If she were to fail, it would be due solely due to the Creator's own moral presumptions.

Ayaka put on her cloak, grabbed her virtual backpack, and left the preparation room with Rikami when it was time. Now of course she had another room to choose. Rooms 1 - 4 are what she got to choose one out of. Room 2 looked good to her. It was her bedroom number. Why not make it the test room number she decided upon using as well. Not knowing exactly what to expect, she walked into the room. Ayaka hoped she prepared herself enough for this since it was hard for her to completely figure what was going to happen in these rooms.

There was a sign that said: Please Boot me Up.
Once the student booted up the Exam PLTs, it had a two questions.

Then a screen came up with a map on it.

Mystique woke up and smiled for this was a day that she was looking forward to. A new experience and a new way of testing. She went and ate her breakfast. She made sure that she was extra neat in eating, placed the tray back into the cubby hole. Then she packed her belongings and made her bed. Then came her backpack which the briefcase was hooked onto and cloak and finally she got her cane. She waited for the door to open.

Once the door opened, Mystique headed out and down the hall to room 5. She walked inside and saw the sign. She took the PLTs and answered the questions.

Then the map came up.
She saw the path that led to north and spit off three ways. She closed the PLTs and followed the path until it broke off to the west or left. She stopped at the end of the map and looked at the PLTs once more.

Ayaka booted up the PLT and saw the questions.

The map came up shortly after. For the most part it looked like a straight path with a couple points where it turns off elsewhere. Rikami was already sniffing around while Ayaka took a couple steps on the path while looking at her surroundings.
