[IC] The Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts- Year 2

Elizabeth booted up her PLT once she saw the sign. She filled out the questions that she found on her screen.

Name: Elizabeth Laurent
Room Number: 3
Did you get the briefcase: Yes

Then a screen with a map came up. She decided to close her PLT, and followed the map.

Mystique smiled at the bridge and carefully walked across it. It was a nice bridge where she could see quite a ways. She felt that she would keep going until she had crossed over. There were no other path except to go back which she figured if she did that, well...... she would lose points. She only wished that she had gone a different path.

Ayaka
Ayaka continued walking until the path turned off to the left. She decided upon going left. Rikami was sniffing around an assortment of what looked to be berries. Ayaka really wanted to try them, but decided it probably wasn't a good idea. If the candies had their own little properties and all that, then this would probably be no different. "Come on Rikami!" she called to him from the pathway.

Mystique's location
The bridge Mystique was was crossing the bridge that should hold up until she crosses unless something occurs that breaks it. A bird can be seen flying around the lake. If Mystique knows what type of bird it is, she would recognize it to be a Raicho. This particular raicho was bored and decided it was playtime. The lake just so happened to be the place it picked to play. Lightning would strike random places around the water. The bird ended up seeing Mystique and decided to make it rain around where she was.

Mystique shuddered when the rain suddenly began to drop. Ember jumped into the cloak where his snuggly pocket was. Mystique pulled up her hood and noticed the Raicho.
"Oh you silly bird. Are you happy now that you rained on me? What am I supposed to do with you?" she asked with a soft chuckle as she walked down the path, keeping an eye out for stray lightning strikes.

Towards the other path, is a wey fir where one could settle down in for the night. Sometimes a wey fir will even drop a cone if the spirit inside of it determines you to worthy of it. High up in the top of wey fir is a brilliant bird nestling down for a night. The sun is setting and the bird began to sing a beautiful goodbye to the setting sun. Will you take this offer of a peaceful night rest under the protective branches and soft needles?

Elizabeth had been walking. This had surely been a less glorious journey than she had been hoping for, but such a journey was not outside of her predictions either. It no doubt meant to build her character, or some other presumptuous proposition. Regardless, Elizabeth had taken the right path. She saw a batch of blue berries alongside where she had been, and Elizabeth wanted to eat them, but decided against it. There must be a spell that could detect poison, yet Elizabeth could not recall any.

Elizabeth had kept walking, and eventually the sky had turned dark. She saw no place to rest along the path she had gone, so she decided to keep walking for just a little while longer.

Ayaka
Ayaka continued down the path knowing her frost wolf would follow. She heard the bird singing as the sun set. Rikami started barking and running toward where the sound came from. "Rikami settle down!" she called to him as she ran after him. At the wey fir he sniffed around for a minute. Ayaka sighed. "Well don't make this into playtime. We can play after the test." She walked up to her excited frost wolf and pet him on the head. "Honestly, you pick the most random moments to become excited. Looks ok to rest here for the night."

Mystique's location
The bird continued to follow Mystique before flying ahead and landing in a nearby tree.

(By the way, there'll be wey fir type things for her to rest in too. Basically just a bigger tree that's hollowed out inside the trunk. I need to add them to the map, but the first one Mystique comes to should be a bit further down the path after crossing the lake.)

The Phoenix had two eggs this season and needed to find a place for one baby. Rarely does this ever happen but at the hatching the parents would need to decide which chick would be kept.
This particular pair are very protective of each other, their wey tree and their chicks which came along about every five years. This year they had to choose for both eggs are hatched. The smaller chick was pushed out of the tree by the male who happened to fly down to where it landed. It waited with hopes that the human would decide to spend the night inside the wey tree.

Ayaka entered the wey tree along side her frost wolf only to be greeted by a baby chick. "Hello there. How come you're all alone?" She knelt down next to it wondering if it needed help.

The Firebird came out and nudge the chick into her hands then walked out of the wey fir. Nearby was a pile of worms left for Ayaka to take.

Mystique had followed the Raicho to a tree that was hollow.
"Thank you, Raicho. This such a nice place to rest for the night." she spoke to the bird.
Once Mystique was inside it was very comfy, roomy in fact. She opened her cloak and Ember stuck his head out. She took a bit of kitty nibble and some nuts for herself to eat.

Elizabeth turned to the right. That was the direction in which the path seemed to go. She went that way, and only waited for what was to come.

The day was going along a bit boring maybe but maybe there was something that just might be.... no it couldn't be anything but a small pink elephant walking ahead of her.....
SHould she turn back and take the path or should she take the same path and hurry up to see exactly what it was that she sees?

Now, seeing the pink elephant was certainly something that excited Elizabeth. She wasn't about to turn back now, and she thought that she had known enough magic to handle herself in any situation. She headed towards it, however cautiously.

Th pink elephant kept walking and walking right into a mirage from the way the sun was setting. The pink elephant went behind the sand dune where the sun hit it last then began to dig into the warm sand. When it was finished, it crawled into the hole, raised it's trunk then shook the dune, making the sand fall over the back and around it. Soon it became a side mound of sand with a trunk poking out of the sand dune.

Ayaka spent the night taking care of the chick. It was a different experience than a puppy or kitten, but it was still fun. Now she had an idea of how to go about taking care of a baby bird. When the next morning came around and Ayaka was getting ready to be on her way, she found herself wondering if she should take the bird with her or leave him here. It wouldn't feel right to leave it here all by itself.

Elizabeth decided that she would not give this display too much thought. It was odd, of course, however she knew there would be other odd things that she would see as well. She continued walking alongside the path she had chosen, and walked pass the mound of sound.

The small pink elephant's nose sniffed and smelled the female. It shook her body as she walked out of the sand dune. She followed behind the girl, hoping to be noticed.

The Raicho decided it liked Mystique and went to follow inside the tree. It sat there waiting to see what she'd do.
