@Black Alice Thank you very much for explaining it in greater detail. If it's used in that manner, I am alright with ZA WARUDO.

@Dead Cruiser As long as he doesn't get a Ganmen and his Spiral Power doesn't get too big, I'm alright with Young! Lordgenome.

I'm kind of wary, but I'm willing to accept that it won't be used if GS is. I just hope there will be an IC justification for this.

Anyways, there wouldn't be an IC justification even if you did put in a hard limitation, so I don't see that being an issue. Modifying canon characters willy-nilly isn't cool. Crossover roleplays that allow this are the worst.

Oh, and in case it seems I'm being troublesome, I'm just helping. Because I'm bored~

I didn't mean accept in an official capacity. Sorry for the misunderstanding. ^^; I meant I'm not going to bring it up or anything unless GS sees a problem.

Name: The Overlord

Universe: Overlord

Appearance:

Personality: Evil, the Overlord is evil incarnate. However, the terms of evil have always been subjective, but you can say that his goals aren't the most noblest of things. He likes to control things, be it from his vast hordes of minions to personally dominating every single civilian in an entire town. Even though he may quite aggressively take over towns and cities, his rule is fairly decent, he doesn't kill anyone that obeys him and gives people rewards when it is due. Though, he is still quite evil, majority of the people are mind controlled that would be willing to die for him if given enough shocking to the brain, and most of the rest are sent to slavery. However, he does have one exploitable weakness, he does like himself some ladies around him, mainly the ones with large chests. He wouldn't risk everything to gain them, but he would be quite protective if one ever joins his side, and maybe something else in the bedroom if you know what I mean.

Powers/Skills: Supernaturally tough, he can take volleys of arrows and dozens of swipes from the finest metal and still fight to the last breath. He can also take several direct catapult and ballista shots while merely taking a step back from the lethal damage. The Overlord is, as well, inhumanly strong. He can strike with any weapon with devastating power, able to almost crush anything is this path with sheer strength. Also mastered in most medieval weaponry, he can easily create combos to lock opponents or knock them down for even more devastating attacks while the opponent is down. The Overlord is also versed inside the world of magic, able to control fire with his whim as spews of flame gushes through his hand while several pillars of flame surround him. He can also control the weak minded, confuse, slow, and even turn others on their own teammates! He may also shield himself with his magic, only himself and even keeping it up for a couple of minutes is quite draining on the might Overlord. However, the Overlord still has one power left, and possibly the strongest.

The Overlord is able to control creatures known as Minions. They are small, goblin-esque creature that are completely loyal to the Overlord and will only take order from the Overlord with no question. There are four types of minions, brown, red, green, and blue. Brown is the epitome of brawn over brain, they are the grunts of the horde and the most important type of minion. They have the brain size smaller than a walnut, and also have a strange obsession of putting things on their heads. Reds are the arsonist of the four, they love to burn things from far away and then dance on the fiery corpses of their enemies. Greens, they are the sneaky and stinky types of the minions, able to deal massive amounts of damage from behind, they are also able to turn transparent if they stand still for long enough. The blues, they are the weakest of the four, they are the mystical types of the minions. They are able to revive recently dead minions and are able to phase through objects at will, if they ever get into any type of fight, they usually die in one hit. However, with the Overlord being taken from his universe, will the minions come with him, or will he be without an army to command?

Brief Bio: The son of the last Overlord, he takes over the business of being the Overlord and conquers the lands that were actually more corrupted than himself. The Empire, a once good society turned evil, the Overlord must take over the land to install his own evilness within the world! He does this exact thing, he takes on the entire Empire, the last of the eleven empire, and the dangerous lands that the Overlord had to wade through, conquering man and nature. At the end, the Overlord controlled the entire map, everyone enslaved to his rule while keeping his three mistresses entertained. However, during his glourious reign of evil, he was suddenly plucked out of existence to become the play thing of something, and the Overlord isn't going to take that at all.

Equipment:
  • The Infernal Armour - Resilient, forged from the life force of over one-hundred minions and pure crystallized good and evil. This armor allows the Overlord to take a beating, and barely even flinch.
  • The Infernal Commander - A pressuring force, this allows the Overlord to intimadate the weak by merely looking at them while he is able to control more minions.
  • The Apocalypoter - A giant two-handed mace, the third strike spewing fire out of the weapon while being pounded into oblivion.

Other: The Overlord never talks in-game, however, I will make him speak to make interactions easier, though, he still will rarely speak.

Yes, I never thought to find another Overlord fan! The game is fairly obscure, but it is one hell of a game! The Pikmin type gameplay and the dark humor instantly attracted me, and I've never tried to RP from the realm of the Overlord, so this is the perfect RP to do that!

@Dead Cruiser We shall see, eheh.

@Invisible Man Accepted.

Also depending on how much villains we get, I might implement a system where good and evil characters have different home bases and territories in the City I guess. Otherwise it'd be like cats and dogs, only with superpowers and a lot of destruction. XD

Oh! Thanks for the quick response! However, I do have a question concerning one of the powers of the Overlord. Does he get to keep a little amount of his minions? Or is he without his little mischief starters? I could work with both, but I just need to know how to play him in this RP.

Man, ya know, it kinda sucks when you get the idea to use an awesome character you're sure you'd have a lot of fun with... but then you realize you don't want the spoilers of finding out what all their awesome gear and such are by a later point because you haven't gotten there personally yet and it ruins the fun on another front... for some people at least.

Quick question! Would there be possibility of extra-dimensional connections that don't actually directly affect 'the world' per se? As in they are 'available' to a character [probably because otherwise they lack much of their actual power, or just for comedic purpose], but they won't get that character 'out' of 'this' world.

Like, say, big boss somehow still having a codec connection to his base, in another freaking universe or whatever, and somehow able to teleport in/out equipment from there and maybe call in artillery? XD he'd be the type who's 'power' is all in his gear. That may or may not include temporary support from his NPCs troops, vehicles, metal gear, who won't stay around long-term.

This question actually kindof ties in with invisible's question about the overlords minions too XD Just... big boss's minions tend to be fewer than a legion and more dangerous... But he doesn't have any magical powers to throw around XD

@Invisible Man He can get at most 12 minions at any time.

@Shoryu A system of C4 will have a Contribution system where if you do particularly good in an event, you can ask to bring in a small amount of either buildings, supplies, weapons or mooks from your home universe. Or you can just scavenge whatever you find in the patchwork City and say "Finders Keepers".

Heheh, mooks. Good thing boss trains his 'mooks' to be properly useful in a fight XD

So, no communication things then? XD Getting messages from Kaz about the goings on would be hilarious. Hell, Metal gear already has some crossovers from monster hunter and fatal frame, but I can do without.

GAT ROOM FOR ONE MAR?

*Name: Kuai Liang a.k.a. Sub-Zero II
*Universe: Mortal Kombat (Reboot)
*Appearance:

*Personality:
Once Kuai was a devoted assassin of the Lin Kuei but in recent events, he is now the wise and benevolent Grand Master of the Lin Kuei. With that, he is a polite and kind man to those who are hostile to him. Unfortunately, he is sometimes forced to combat opponents who are good-natured. Such fights evokes regret from Sub-Zero.

A servant of justice, Kuai is quick to intervene in defusing matters that would surely lead to violence. However, this does not mean he is not fearsome fighter as he would gladly use violence to solve particular disputes.

*Powers/Skills:
=Complete control over the ice element.
=Able to flash freeze opponents for a brief amount of time via ice orbs, ice beams or ice clone
=Able to form weapons made of ice
=Martial Arts with above average strength

*Brief Bio:
"Kuai Liang and his older brother, Bi-Han, served the Lin Kuei assasin clan faithfully until the first Mortal Kombat tournament. There Bi-Han, codename Sub-Zero, was killed by the demon Scorpion. Kuai Liang assumed the Sub-Zero name and went to Outworld to find his brother's killer. Meanwhile, the leadership of the Lin Kuei embarked on the Cyber Initiative, converting its members to cybernetic ninjas to increase their efficiency and remove their human imperfections. Kuai Liang was captured and converted. Eventually, Raiden and the defenders of Earthrealm restored his soul, and he joined their cause. He was later killed in the Outworld invasion, his soul claimed by the Netherrealm sorcerer Quan Chi. Sub-Zero served the demon realm during its subsequent war with Earthrealm. Returned to humanity by Raiden in the aftermath, Sub-Zero rebuilt the Lin Kuei--this time as a benevolent organization dedicated to the protection of Earthrealm.

After the incident involving the fallen Elder God Shinnok, Kuai had caught wind of some portal disturbances between the realms. He went forth to investigate, knowing little that this investigation would turn out to be an adventure.
"

*Equipment:
=Ice Weapons, particularly the Kori Blade, Sub-Zero's signature weapon

*Others: Can one make more than one character?

I'm kind of wary, but I'm willing to accept that it won't be used if GS is. I just hope there will be an IC justification for this.

The justification is written into his personality. He is almost totally disinterested in this crossover world and its inhabitants, seeing them as inconsequential. He wouldn't waste so much of an ounce of his strength if there was an alternative. Even if someone does actually try and oppose him, he'd rather try and turn him or her to his side (via dealing, persuasion, rationalization, offerings, or his charisma) than fight them. Furthermore, he prefers sending subordinates to do his dirty work for him rather than engaging himself. Plus, if he were to use his stand offensively there's the chance that someone might figure out the World's secret, and that wouldn't be good for him. That's why that he'd use it only to make his movement safe if at all.

DIO actually has the capacity to be one of the most passive characters in this RP in terms of combat, if not action. His motivation is not to hurt people or gain control--merely to get back to his own universe to prepare for his enemies.

GAHAHAH!, Kaz would kick his ass! Be like 'WHY'D YOU BRING ME INTO 'THIS'?!' XD That wouldn't do any good anyway, Kaz is better at management than fighting... then again, if we end up with bases being a thing, Kaz might be a big help xD
