Bio: Brian was born to a middle class family, for a long time it seemed like he'd have an ordinary life. Just get by day to day, check the ink every so often.
By the age of 14 Brian was already an intrepid and proficient programmer. He seemed to have an instinct for code, interpreting it in the same way a normal person would read a book. By 15 he was already running several successful online media businesses and was making websites when not at school. His parents saw little of their son who kept himself sequestered away in a world of code most of the time.
The only time other than school that Brian couldn't be found spending programming, was when his father would take him to shoot at the local range. The two were marksman favouring pistol shooting and were both very proficient. On his 18th birthday Brian's parents gave him two presents he has treasured ever since. Firstly an elaborate pocket watch and secondly a German Luger. Brian has treasured these items ever since and always keeps them on his person.
At 25 he lost both his parents, this made him even more reclusive than he had been before. The few friends he had kept saw him only on very special occasions. But then his life took a turn.
Whilst working on one of his websites Brian quite coincidentally perfected a secure communication algorithm he'd been working on. This meant that anyone using his system was basically untouchable in the digital world. He was quick to capitalise on the system he'd perfected, and sold it to corporations, governments anyone who could afford his price.
Overnight Brian went from a man of modest means to a millionaire. He bought himself an estate in the south of England, and created a private military company to sustain his new lifestyle. Over time he's transitioned from being a middle class recluse to the entrepreneurial gentlemen he is today.
Having adapted to his new lifestyle Brian began to experiment, ever since he was kid he'd wanted to process information faster, to interface with machines on a level not though possible. He sponsored a group of... less than moral scientists to develop the technology he wanted, and after 5 years they gave him a hint of what he'd hoped for.
The first augmentation was simple enough, the chip attached to his occipital lobe, improving his vision, granting him superb night vision. Then a few months later was a circadian manipulator which reduced the time he had to spend sleeping.
Over the coming months the scientists perfected more and more augmentations, technology to increase muscle mass, to reduce sensitivity to pain, to increase reflexes. All this and more was developed in the secret laboratories of Brian's company. Until eventually they perfected what all his research had been intended to create, the Binary Interface Chip. The chip was the most powerful chip that Brian's scientists had developed. It allowed the user to wirelessly interact with the technology around them, he could re-write code turn machines on and off with but a thought.
But that was when the addiction took hold, shortly after the chip was installed Brian found himself addicted to the data he could obtain. To the power the chip provided him since then he has been restless, always seeking more data, knowledge and its acquisition has become his obsession. The obsession seemed random at first but his heads of staff have started to notice a pattern as of late, whether Brian will find what he's looking for remains to be seen.
Occupation: Infiltrator and Assassin, working behind the scenes Brian is an efficient hacker, thief, and quiet killer. He prefers his infiltration missions over those that necessitate murder, that isn't to say he won't kill without remorse however.
Also head of Praetorian Security Industries (his own private military and technology company).

Feelings about soulmate: Brian is nervous about meeting his soulmate, he doesn't quite know what he's going to do when he finds her. But, for some reason, he knows that he has to find her, to unravel the meaning of the ink once and for all and to cure the addiction that has ravaged his life.
