@taistelusopuli In regards to the posting order, how will it work if the characters have a conversation with each other?

I can't help but feel like tagging people in the IC is a little distracting. Everyone should be reading all of those posts whether they're addressed to their character or not, right?

I mainly do it to direct the focus of the conversation, since I've often played very social RPs where multiple people are talking across the table, so to speak figuratively. Makes things cleaner and faster, at cost of cluttering.

@Lord Santa It will work fine going in rounds. Consider a turn as an instance of time. Things happen a bit slower but everyone stays in time, in same instance a bit better.

@Baklava Like @BytheSpleen said it directs attention. Later in the game depending how you all play, there might come cases when you are not in the same place. Then tagging will direct attention to the posts that are relevant for playing the character. If you don't like doing it, you don't have to :) And I can do it like BytheSpleen and tag in the beginning or in the end instead of when a character is mentioned the first time in the post.

I don't mind it as much when it's added to the beginning or end. It's just throwing me off when our characters are referred to by their player's usernames. I understand our characters may be in different locations throughout the RP but I do still feel that everyone should be reading all IC posts regardless of whether or not it directly involves their character. I just figured it was RP etiquette.
