Lol. I'm not going to go down the road of what's better than what. UNISEC uses tracked tanks, similar to the 4th Generation MBTs currently being developed, but with their highly advanced kinetic weapon systems. You might have shields. You might have armor to match them. You might even have all sorts of tech that UNISEC will refuse to research into. However, if there is one thing that the Pomeranians excel in, it's the gun.

Besides, for all intents and purposes, being as they are technically under the Celestial Empire still, the Emperor is at liberty to give them a contract against anyone who displeases him. It's what UNISEC, and to a larger degree their sovereign nation, is. They're a weapon. Point them at someone.

@Alfhedil The Mammoth tank incoporates not of C.E. technology. It has no shields, it's large to have thick armor and still have speed. We have Railguns, which are more powerful at destroying armor that your standard cannons. Oh, and missiles, lots and lots of missiles for those too fast vehicles and assault aircraft. On the ground, it's not the clones that are feared. A ground war with C.E. forces you to bring out anti-vehicle weaponry. And if you have enough vehicles to get C.E.'s Mammoth, well, there's only so many not only because they can't be mass produced, but because dozens aren't needed.

This is all saying you don't have shields and not as thick armor as the Mammoth, and you don't out maneuver the gun. Keyguys Railguns are superior, but they aren't the lightest on the turret

Uh, mind rewording that whole bit? Not entirely following what you're trying to say here, and would hate to assume things.

Celestial Empire's ground forces. It's not the mass spam of clones people are scared of, it's the Mammoth tank. Superior level Railguns, destroy lightly armored, unshielded targets. Deal heavy/critical to medium armored, unshielded targets, and fight heavily armored tanks, with usual victory. But they only send one, more for the intimidation factor. It's a massive and low tank.

Railguns are very heavy, which cause the turret to be slow. Missiles used for fast targets and flying targets. When used on fast targets, they target critical points like an engine or mobility point, so then the gun can hit them

It's faster than a trash barge, but is has heavy railgun cannons. It is not super fast, it is not invincible. It can be overwhelmed, tread broke, gun damaged, etc.

It's best suited for intimidation which distracts enemy vehicle crews. We can't mass produce them, so we usually only send one into missions, then hope to god we can pull it out

For example, a Draconian tank is really just a tank with a turret that has either two really bloody big swarmer missile pods, or with two ballistic missile ports- kinda like a tank firing souped-up Javelin missiles in modern day, or shooting stuff with lots of really explosive peashooters that happen to do a large amount of damage.

You can probably shoot through them with one hit, but they don't have to have a line of sight- they can just fire, and they go up, and come down on top of you- where shields and armor is likely to be thinnest.

Likewise, I'll probably just have missile cruisers, with only a few heavy ships for front-line use that have heavy armor and probably incorporates the weapons tech of whoever has the best weapons.

Right, that's sort of what I was figuring. I'll not place an arbitrary value on UNISEC vs CE or anyone really, all I will say is that as a PMC funded by Pomerania and running off their national budget, they are very good at what they do, and they ensure they have the weapons to allow them to continue doing so.

If you want my railguns, you'll have to get them IC. Probably from an arms dealer with damn good connections. The biggest weakness of the USV is being free market, anyone can get anything if you do enough searching and have a fat enough wallet. Of course, get caught by an undercover cop, and it looks really bad.

That being said, I'd totally love to buy some missiles from @Alfhedil as well. Maybe the USV would be a bit more flexible with the price.

UNISEC does not discriminate when selling, unless of course you may have been an enemy of them in the past. And by that, I mean having directed attacks against UNISEC or Pomerania. They are really terrible about making contracts with people they once fought against, as long as no serious damage was done to their infrastructure or the populace.

Well, in that case... the easiest would be to have a joint action taken against some enemy force, in which the USV gave you railguns. Either that, or you paid a hefty price (or paid a smaller price to an unsanctioned arms dealer).
