Alright, I'm not even trying to imply that this is dead yet or anything, but I do want to talk about what'll happen 'after' NCQ1, aka, this RP.
As you guys might know, I'm not the type to just use an old thread all the time and all, and I'm also the type to end an RP when it needs to be finished. So, in that case, I've been thinking about where this universe could go after this myth arc is finished. I'm definitely not saying I'm done with this and it's dead, not at all, quite the opposite! I'm just really excited for how this could continue after this part is done is all. I already have plans, and I'm going to ask you guys what you think of this;
The year is 2737, and mankind has colonized Sol. Long after nuclear war devastated Old-Earth, the corporations that controlled the world died out, and proper governments re-formed to take their place. In 2684, an archaeological dig-team uncovered evidence that Earth was not mankind's sole home, and that Luna, Mars, Jupiter, Europa, and many other asteroids and planets were colonized by Mankind before the fall. Soon afterwards, interplanetary rocketry was re-developed, and Mankind set out to reclaim their lost treasures in the depths of Sol.
In the present day, the Neo-Governments, all under the 'Co-operative of Sol', are in a state of war. Inter-planetary and national diplomacy has failed, and now everyone and their dog is searching for 'LosTech' to turn the tide of the war in their favor. Mankind has locked away many weapons all across the solar system...
For very good reasons.
In the present day, an NC-equipped salvaging team on the red planet of Mars, noted for its' NC-versus-NC gladiator games and artificially engineered pre-war megafauna and flora, discover a subterranean martian complex from before the war that appeared to be both militaristic and climate-controlling in nature. After a series of unforeseen events, though... for the good of all of humanity, they have to try and unite the warring factions of the solar system against a common threat.
Ahem, yeah, basically, that's the idea for 'NCQ2'. I know it's odd talking about it so early, but what are your guys' thoughts? Do you think that would be a fun sequel? I've already talked about it to a few of you in private, and you guys all said it sounded fun, but what about everyone else and in public? :p
But yeah, as I said, seriously, I'm not even trying to imply 'NCQ1' is dead at all or anything. I just like thinking and talking ahead is all.
