Wondering, with my character, (If there is still space in the Royal Family area) would it be possible for him to either be a young protector who grew up with the Royal Family, or an assassin for the king? If neither, I'll just let go of that idea. Also, anyone else who has any problems or concerns with this just tell me and I'll either modify or let go.

In the immediate family there is not really room. In the extended family I can make things happen. What do you mean by young protector?

I don't mean as part of the family, I mean someone who's grown up with them and trained to protect them in the case of any assassination attempts.

I'm going to say no to that. I don't want to change the dynamics of the family without consulting players and a lot of them have gone mia presumably because finals. if they stay away too much longer maybe I can allow it depending on how I intend to move forward on that. However, making a kingsguard character would be welcome as we have lost so many of those from when we started. Couldn't give you a blank check to have grown up with the royal family, but you could still be a protector of them that way. At least that is the first work around that comes to mind.

I mean if you can prove to me a majority of the royal family is okay with this and they are fine with sharing one bodyguard between all of them and you can justify why this would be in light of the existence of the long standing kingsguard who do that job without the growing up with them as kids I'd be fine with it.

Most probable place I could see for the guy would be as Lethonel's personal servant/bodyguard. The Kingsguard are already efficient protectors and vanguards, but Lethonel has the tendency to break into brutal fits of his disease-- this means that he might need to have a constant protector by his side through day and night (except bathroom, of course; that would be disturbing) like reminding the prince of his medicine and whatnot. Of course, the Kingsguard would not really be suited to become a nanny on certain occasions.

This may also be useful when Lethonel goes on his researches around the kingdom. At least, the Kingsguard have more responsibilities than becoming a personal caretaker of a certain royal.

That would be my suggestion, but other than that, cheerios XD

As he travelled he would help towns and townspeople with their problems from the truly wrong, be it bandits or raiders, or sometimes even pests (No, they’re not evil or whatever, but removing them can give you coin, just as the others can). Even though two years his elder, Jaiden does not find himself bored with whatever Lethonel may draw him into doing.
