Psychological Analysis: Blade is a very...efficient individual. He hardly lets his emotions get in the way of his work. Though when he does let his emotions get the better of him, he can be kind, in his own way. Though he does jobs for himself, he does small acts of kindness every once in a while for other people. Maybe as a sort of redemption for all the other acts in his life. He does not, however, care at all for corporations and he especially relishes missions where he can let loose in the pristine offices of the corporate drones. That does not stop him from taking jobs from corporations though, as they often pay the best. He is a complex person, to be sure, attributed no doubt to his past.
Employment Record: While not much is known about his childhood and early life, other than the fact that he was from a rather wealthy family, 'The Blade' certainly made a mark with his work in the underworld and the corporations alike. In 2194, Ryoto Minami was hired at a Technology Mega Corp. at the age of 17. Apparently at the recommendation of a very influential individual, by the name of Akio Minami. Within just 5 months working there, Ryoto had worked his way to being Second-In-Command of the security force. In a year, he had earned the nickname 'The Blade' among his colleagues for his devastating skill with any type of blade. His reputation was cemented when the facility he worked in was attacked. An elite group of Ronin had infiltrated for another corporation and was gunning down everyone in sight. Using the very prototype katana the Ronin were after, a revolutionary hybrid, Blade fended them off. Three of the four Ronin were killed and the survivor barely survived, detonating a grenade, throwing Blade through a glass window. Remarkably, Blade survived the encounter, but not without cost.
His lungs had to be replaced with cybernetic ones and his chest would be scarred for the rest of his life. After working 2 years at the corporation he resigned, stealing the prototype as he left. He decided to go into Ronin work, the appeal of being an independent contractor too strong for Blade to resist. By the time he entered the scene, there were rumors of a new player on the field, only known as 'The Blade'. He proved immediately skilled at this field and found he quite enjoyed it. However, when stealing the prototype blade, which he had named 'Makaze', he failed to complete it with a final piece and the blade snapped. Enraged, he immediately sought a craftsman. After much searching, he found someone with sufficient skill, but it would be costly. Blade decided it was worth the price. In the end he paid 9,000Cr, but 'Makaze' was good as new. Eventually, being Ronin was just like your average job, except 5 times more exciting. While Blade became more and more experienced, he still only worked solo, no matter how dangerous the job. Until recently, where he agreed to work with a crew. Something he's never done, but it should prove interesting.
