Trust system, you decide when your pokemon level up, but you should try to keep it reasonable. I trust that you wont max after a single battle.

Okay. Also how will catching pokemon work? I mean what areas can we catch certain pokemon in?

@hatakekuro i'd say the trust system again. if we're traveling on a route known in the games with pokemon acessible that you what on it post encountering it, but in a believible manner.

Generally Pangoro can't be found in wild but you can encounter them in the anime. So long as the environment is the kind the pokemon would live in, then you can catch it there. This'll also allow you to catch pokemon that you normally can't find in the game.

speaking of catching pokemon a question just popped into my head. what is the concensus on shinies? cause i was doing some move research and remembered how bad ass the shiny honedge line was. i also had an idea to make oleg an the honedge buddies and oleg would wield honedge like an actual sword. then i thought how bad ass would it be for oleg to wield a blood red sword. Of course it would be considered a double battle then but still a ghost robot wielding a blood red ghost sword. my inner ten year old is freaking out man. :3
