Personality:
Sage is mostly a kind, caring, free spirited person. Sometimes she can be spacey or detatched but eventually she snaps out of it. When things start to heat up, she becomes more serious and almost aggressive. She is always willing to lend a hand and help somebody get where they want to go.

History:
Sage was born in the Kanto region, in Saffron City. Before she could remember anything her family moved to Lumiose City in Kalos. Her childhood was moderately normal besides the fact that her parents believed that she should stay away from pokemon due to the danger they could cause. Into her early teens she began to long more and more to get a pokemon. When she heard about Sycamore's giveaway she left a note on the table the morning of and headed to the lab.

History:

Name: Anthony De Rossi

Personality:
A charismatic guy, Tony is loyal to his friends, mature, and firm with his decisions. He always keeps his feelings to himself and people close to him and is usually very calm especially at the sight of a beautiful woman. Sporadically Anthony has a need for female companionship as he easily falls in love but tries not to show said affection and if not fed by the object of his affection will quickly go away.

From early childhood, he has been a determined person as he has always aimed to be the best dragon type trainer in Kalos and when in a good streak likes to talk boastingly about his and his pokemons’ skills.

However, the pursuit of skill is something that Tony repeatedly struggles with. Whenever he meets same tier trainers he makes an evaluation of their abilities through battle: those he perceives to be weaker than himself he gives advice and can even offer help to.
He feels others should show the same respect towards their opponents and their team even if they are beaten or not as skilled as the winner because they also have the chance to surpass themselves by training hard.

But those he believes are stronger than him he fixates on surpassing, training tirelessly alongside his pokemon for outrageous continuous periods and not minding hazard to his person. It is on these times of self-improvement that the usual flirty, relaxed, warm and confident De Rossi disappears completely as he obsesses over being at the same level or even better than the trainer he has set as a target. Instead he becomes constantly frustrated, stubborn, irritable, silent, and gloomy being even capable of lashing out at the people he cares about the most (his friends, family, girlfriend if on a relationship)

History:
Anthony was born to a small family in Slateport City. He lived a regular life until he was about 12 years old, at that point things began to change as his father’s ship travels became more frequent and of longer durations. Tired of his father’s lack of presence on the house his Mom decided to move with him into the ship. There he explored the world from city to city.

He did volunteering work on the ship and as payment his parents let him go to spectate large pokemon tournaments where he grew to love fights. Having earned sufficient money to live comfortably his father retired and they moved to Rustboro.

In his new city he got into the Pokémon Trainers' School where he learned the basics and became a well-made team with his first pokemon, a tyrunt named Jaws gifted to him by his aunt who lived on her visit from far away Kalos.

It was thanks to her stories about that region and the mythical Drasna with her dragons that Tony decided to move in with his aunt as soon as he turned 18 and together with Jaws they set out to Kalos’ Lumiose city in order to start their pokemon journey there.

To his surprise an opportunity arose the week he moved in, as the local lab announced it was giving away pokemon to want to be adventurers.

Name: Reira Rose

Personality:
Reira is a gentle and calm girl who is friendly to everyone she meets. She's caring, compassionate, empathetic and enjoys being around people and pokemon, seeing them all happy. She doesn't talk much, often she will do gestures to communicate like a nod or shrug and make small noises like giggles and such. She enjoys time alone sitting and reading or gardening and other simple tasks like that. She's not really a hard person to understand. She's not really mysterious, but perhaps just shy. Once she is around someone for some time, she becomes more sociable. She looks young for her age but acts like someone ten years older who is mature and level headed.

History:
Reira grew up in a house where she always felt she didn't belong. An older couple with ten children had taken her in when she was just two years old after being abandoned by her parents. Though they were nice to her, the couple always seemed to care more for their own children, and treated Reira much like a stray pet that had wandered in one day. Though they weren't abusive, as a child, Reira would go for days or weeks at a time, never being spoken to or allowed to leave the house and thus, developed into an introvert who never speaks unless spoken to. Being neglected like that made her feel invisible even though she was surrounded by people.

At one point, she ran away from that home and stumbled upon a Pokemon Daycare where the owners took her in and fed her and treated her as if she were their own daughter. For once, she'd felt loved and so she couldn't help but sneaking out of her home to go and visit every single day. Slowly, Reira became a better person, being able to meet many different people who visited the daycare and learn how to treat others kindly and with an open heart. When she turned 15, she was given an egg that hatched into her first Pokemon, Buneary. Though through the years, they didn't do much training or anything like that, the two bonded and became the best of friends.

Once she turned 17, she moved out of the house she didn't belong and 'moved' into the daycare, working in order to have her own space in the top floor. When she turned 18, the owners of the daycare urged her to go on a journey and see the rest of the world with Buneary, and so she decided she would.

Personality: Cool dude through and through. Chill, laid back, and relaxed. Believes there is to much drama in the world. Going here, doing that, worrying about this, and who goes there. Logan doesn't get too hyped about anything besides his friends and family. He isn't lazy either he actually has a get up and go attitude, but don't rush him. He hates being rushed. As remarkably lax as he is about doing things he always seems to get it done right on time. He likes to brag about it too. "See, I told you it would get done. You worry to much." That's pratically his catchphrase. He can often be found staring at something like he is about to say something profound. Which is usually the case, but sometimes he can use it to his advantage pulling pranks by suddenly spouting out random facts. His laid back attitude shows up on the field too. Prefering defensive strategies until he sees the opportune moment to strike. His favorite food is Blukberry Milkshakes and his favorite color despite his clothes is green. He says he doesn't look good in green.

History: Born and raised in Geosenge Town, Logan is the son of Hotel Marine Snow's owners. That being said Logan had contact with all kinds of people from all over the place. Traveller's from Kanto to Unova visited the odd little town for it's unique tourist attractions. From world leaders to popular movie stars every kind of trainer, traveller, and tourist passed through Marine Snow's doors. One of such people was Logan's hero, Crasher Wake. Wake was Logan's favorite wrestler from Sinnoh. He stayed up late on fridays just to watch him. So when he passed through Geosenge on his retirement tour Logan couldn't pass it up. Logan waited in line for ten hours for Wake's autograph. Finally he met him and was asked his name and where he was from. When Wake heard Logan was from Geosenge and his parents owned the hotel he gave a big smile. "Kid, don't ever let your folk's place down. It's got to be my favorite place I have ever stayed." Logan nodded and smiled wide speechless that his hero's favorite place to stay was his home town. The next day Logan begged for a pokemon of his own. Being the protective parents they were Logan's father caught him his Golett Oleg.

Personality: In case you couldn't get it just by looking at him, he is a delinquent. If you pick a fight with him then expect to get punched back into yesteryear or at least into a hospital. He is blunt and has a tongue sharper than any knife, the king of smart asses if you will. Jean is a strong, free spirit that wants to see what there is out in the world. His vulgarity matches his bluntness and women beware, he is a flirt with a very smooth tongue. While he is a bit of a thug, he does have redeeming qualities. He isn't a cruel or mean-spirited person by any sort. He is a kind man and at times, surprisingly gentle when it comes to children and pokemon. It should be noted that he is very clever and undeniably shrewd when he puts his mind to it. Due to helping his parents run the restaurant he is a very talented chef and knows how to make use of it in order to make money on the side.
History: "There's not much to say. My mom is from Kalos and my dad is from Johto. They met, got married, opened a restaurant in Lumiose City, and had me. I helped them run the joint after school and learned to cook via under fire. I could've stuck around and continued helping them, but I need to stretch my wings. Ya know what I mean? I heard Old Man Sycamore was giving a way free pokemon so I thought that I may as well give being a trainer to try. Mom was more supportive than my old man, but hey, parents always worry about the worst case scenario. What's the worst that could happen?"

Amelia, due to her lack of interaction with other people, if a very shy, gentle young girl and sometimes can be a bit naïve to the ways of the world. She much prefers the company of pokemon, particularly Ghost-types, and tries to find a non-violent route to solve problems. However, underneath this exterior is a girl who has a strong will and is willing to do whatever she needs to in order to help her friends, even if it puts her own health at risk. Once she gets used to someone, she can prove to be rather cheerful and rather easy to amuse and get a laugh out of.

On a side note, Amelia has a large sweet tooth and cannot deny sweets when offered. She also has a fear of loud noises and shouting.

History:
Hailing from Lavender Town, Amelia has lead a relatively uneventful life due to her poor health. Her parents often kept an overly watchful eye on her and severely limited the activities she was allowed to do as a result of this, making it difficult for the girl to interact with other children and make friends.

Despite this, when her parents weren't looking, Amelia would often sneak into the Pokémon Tower and spend time with the Ghost-type pokemon that resided there. These pokemon where her only friends and she played with them as often as she could. It was only when she was playing with her ghostly friends that she felt happy.

When she was ten, she asked her parents permission to go on a journey, as was tradition. Her parent flat out denied this and instead began teaching Amelia how to run the souvenir store that they ran, though it was still rare for her to talk to customers. Unhappy with this, even though she was making money in the process, Amelia hatched a plan to run away. Approaching her pokemon friends for help, it took four years but she eventually had the money to buy a ticket to take a boat and then a plane to the Kalos region, leaving under the cover of night with the pokemon from the tower covering her escape.

Personality:
Joshua has a bit of a conflicting personality. He is a lone wolf by nature, preferring to keep to himself and interact with others as little as possible. Despite this though, he does care for people and is always willing to help them out if they need it. He also is always willing to help new trainers when he can, though he won't directly help them unless he thinks they actually need it.

When he does interact with others, he's generally blunt and does not hold back in voicing his opinions unless he sees them as being severely detrimental to a trainer's progress. While he will not hesitate to call out their weaknesses but he will refrain from telling them that anything is impossible to overcome.

In battle, Joshua is a ruthless opponent, being analytical and taking advantage of his opponent's weaknesses. His frequent journeys away from his gym usually results in him meeting potential challengers before hand and see them in action and prepare ahead of time.

History:
A young man from Ecruteak Town, Joshua was born into an average family who made enough money to get by and occasionally enjoy a few luxuries. He was often the only child left out of activities in town due to him anti-social tendencies, which often resulted in misunderstandings that often turned into fights with the other kids.

Joshua's favorite place to be in the town was the Gym, where he would watch Morty battle with various trainers from Johto and beyond from the shadows. Morty himself was one of the few people Joshua would talk with in town and it was Morty who taught Joshua how to battle, allowing Joshua to use his Ghost-types since the young boy couldn't own any Pokémon of his own. It was these training matches and spectated battles that inspired Joshua to become a Gym Leader

Joshua left the town borders one day and came across an injured Absol while exploring. Rushing back to Morty, the gym leader helped Joshua get the Disaster Pokémon to a Pokémon Center so it could be treated. Morty offered to take care of the Absol for Joshua, until the boy turned ten and could own a Pokémon of his own.

When Joshua turned ten, he left to go on his journey, taking the Absol Morty had been taking care for him with him. Joshua and Absol would journey across the Johto Region, battling the various gym leaders and other trainers he came across. He quickly came to realize he had an affinity for Dark-type Pokémon and when he entered the Pokémon League, every Pokémon he use was a Dark-type. While he ultimately lost, he vowed to become the first Dark-type Gym Leader and left to journey across other regions to hone his skills.

Personality: Named for his firey hair, Kai doesn't really act it. In fact, he says the firey name only fits his passion for love and girls, though most would roll their eyes at that. Kai is a lover both with friendship and romantic partners. He is a massive flirt and simply likes to make people happy. His passion for fire pokemon stems from his belief that warmth of body, words, and heart is the one true fire way to make people happy.

However, Kai is not always as happy and chipper as this. He is the farthest you could get from a morning person and if he doesn't take naps, he gets extremely cranky. He likes sweets and hates spicy foods. He loves fire pokemon and absolutely hates poison and water type pokemon. Though, to be fair, water pokemon hate him too. They always seem to use water gun on him after a few minutes of knowing him.

History: Born in Santalune, Kai's never had a pokemon and at his age his mother has all but given up trying to get him to go out and live a little. When they got wind of the free pokemon give away, Kai shrugged his shoulders and told his mother he was willing to try that adventure now. He was getting bored of his life any way. It was about time he spiced it up.

An only child, Kai always had everything he needed and never wanted for anything. His mother is a nurse and his father a local chef. He's spent a good deal of his life wasted away in Lumiose City, hanging out with his new and old friends. He's always been a socialite and will probably always be a socialite.

Personality:
April is a very friendly person who love to make friends with both people and pokemon. She is a carefree person who always seems to have her head in the clouds and does not like to stay grounded. That is where her brother comes in as the rational one of the two who attempts to keep her in reality. April has a strong relationship with her brother and doesn't like to be away from him for a long time as he acts as her protector and rock to hold onto. She loves spending time with Drew just as much as she enjoys meeting new people and making friends.

History:
April and Drew were born into a scientific family in the city of Anistar. This meant that their parents were always off traveling gathering data for their studies on Steel pokemon leaving the siblings to take care of each other a lot. On the few occasions when the siblings were allowed to go out with their parents on research trips, they got to see a world full of different types of pokemon which fueled their thirst to see the world.

Benjamin “Wave” Grant

Personality: ”What? You want me to do something for you? That is such a hassle though!”
The best way to surmise Benjamin’s personality is that of the lazy smart kid. If he tried, he probably could have become a breeder not too long after he turned twenty but he completely lacks the motivation to do so. Well, he also lacks the money since he’s never really worked a day in his life and his father cut him off a month ago. Benjamin prefers to go by Wave but people who know him sometimes call him Ben just to poke fun at him, though it doesn’t really effect him much. If someone wanted Benjamin to do something, they would have to pay him or at least be able to have leverage against him. Despite all his laziness, there is one thing which he won’t stand by and watch anybody be a ‘bad’ trainer to their pokemon. After all, his father always taught him to care for any pokemon like they were his own.

History: Benjamin grew up in the Kalos region and lived with his Father who was a breeder. He never really knew his mother but had spent plenty of time around his Father while he was drunk to learn that she was not a pleasant woman to be around. As far as Benjamin knew, he had no brothers or sisters. Though, he may have a step-brother or sister out there somewhere since his Mother is probably still alive. But, Benjamin wasn’t worried about his mother since he grew up with possible the best dad every kid could have asked for. From a very young age, Benjamin’s Father encouraged him to care for the pokemon they were breeding with him by letting him feed them and clean them.

As he grew up, Benjamin became more distant from his Father as the man who raised him no longer had to care for him on a daily basis. Benjamin took on the name Wave as he joined several of his friends at a beach and showed that he had a talent at surfing despite having only done so twice a year since he was eight. Eventually Wave grew to see his father only once or twice a week, often late at night when he would get home from a meeting with a client. It got to the point where Wave grew to hate the idea of being a breeder like his father if it meant having very little time to see one’s family. When he turned eighteen, the young Wave left home and decided that he would become a pokemon trainer. He kinda wants to see if he can be a champion trainer but he isn’t too serious about trying.

Benjamin has a.. well not a dream but an extremely odd yet fitting goal for dude like him. He wants to date a woman from each region. Even Benjamin doesn’t take this goal serious as he hardly tries to even accomplish it. At one time, Benjamin would have answered that he wanted to be a breeder for high class clientele but he lost total interest in such a boring goal.
