I am a bit interested just not sure about creating a character though.

If I were to make a feral, both vampires & hunters would be against my character correct? Would she get interaction between characters or would she just be fighting for her life constantly?

From what I understand the feral vampires are not obviously different, and unless they are publicly known to be feral could easily interact with anyone and everyone. I'm no GM or Co-GM though.

Yeah, that's another thing I was about to ask as well. How does one detect a feral or does no one know unless they are caught in the act, so to speak.

@Temperance Ferals basically gotta be caught in the act for confirmation, but there are clues: they're not all there mentally and they'll be notably stronger than other vampires of the same age. Also, Ferals may or may not be allies with one another. But with people hunting them, there is motivation to be friendly to another feral.

Katarina Sorensen

Age: Appears to be in her early twenties

Species: Feral

Appearance:

Equipment: Purse containing basic female necessities I.e. lipstick, cash, etc.

Concealed carry license

Walther ppk with silver bullets

Back holster containing three silver throwing knives, easily hid under loose shirts or blouses

Personality: Seems to have the uncanny ability to sooth those she interacts with even though she holds no actual power to do so. She alludes mystery and many secrets are held within those lucid eyes of hers, it's plain to see. If judging a book by its cover there seems to be no darkness or ill will that she would or could cause. Although, a primal air about her is subtly detectable and sometimes agitation or a mild case of paranoia takes hold. One thing is certain, beneath a soft smile lies something unintentionally vicious and predetory.

Biography: Born in a quaint cottage on a seaside town of Marstrand Sweden Katarina longed for a little adventure. A sheltered life was fine but there was a longing in her heart to see the world. Studying abroad would be a means to do so or at least get her started. With a little hard earned money saved up, and a much appreciated scholarship the platinum blond traveled quite a ways to embark on a new destination. Far away from home she would litteraly gain a new life; something she never would have expected or dreamed of.

Once arrived brushing up on English posed little problem thanks to her sponcer family, and she wanted to contribute to these kind people by earning a wage. However, with no prior records from a previous employer they all turned her away. Katarina excelled in baking but could not afford an apprenticeship which offered nothing in return but experience. Nearly consumed in hopelessness a beautiful woman came to aid. Overhearing the foreigners woe she offered her an interview at a manor where she was currently employed.

Awe stricken by a massive building before her, Katarina's nerves sent paralysis to all limbs for a brief moment. It was shocking news to Katarina when a butler sternly implied that the master was absolutely not hiring. The woman known as Gretchen who brought the shy Swedish student here brushed off the ire laden helper, and strolled straight to the owners office. A deep voice beckoned them in after a few knocks. There, in that grandoise room, innocent eyes fell to one of the most exquisite man she had ever had the pleasure of staring at. She was hired on the spot after Gretchen pleaded Katarina's case, in fact, Gretchen had only said four words before the gentlemen agreed.

Maid duties were assigned to the thankful university student but soon she was swept up in the glamor of this new world. Attending classes became a thing of the past, and stays at her sponsor's family home grew scarce along with her job assignments. Alric the owner had taken a liking to the pale eyed girl treating her much differently than his other employed. Showering her with gifts, her own bedroom, and lavish clothing became the norm. Parties were an every night venture and gradually he introduced a darker side of human existence.

Unexpectedly she was sired by a wealthy pureblooded aristocrat who indulged in a plathora of taboos including the ingestion of vampire blood, Katarina soon lost herself along the way. By the time he turned Katarina she was already versed in the ways of vampire life…or so she thought. As a newly born vampire she was invited to participate in Alric's prohibition parties where lowly vampires, willing, and unwilling were feasted on in marbled ballrooms for sport or entertainment. Alric just forgot to mention that these actions were forbidden. As she was not allowed to leave perhaps he thought that information was unimportant. It was not until her banishment from the manor that she learned how grave her actions had been.

Notes: Katarina was naughty and got banished for drinking Alric's blood without permission. He never let anyone do such a disgusting thing to him. After being thrown to the wolves she learned from a few acquaintances of Alric's about The Society. As a means to better protect herself she spent hours at the gun range since her physical strength was not an issue. Before this information she hadn't even touched human blood and had to wean herself from vampire blood--with a relapse here and there. She'll never forget the taste of purebred blood though. It's her favorite. As far as The Society goes, keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

@Temperance Looks mostly good! In age, though, we're looking for her actual age as well. It's important because a younger vampire will be weaker than an older (though of course, Ferals are strong for their age). And if you feel the picture does Katarina justice, a written appearance isn't necessary. You're free to add one either way, though.

Other than all that, she looks good. Fix up the age and you can throw her into the Character Tab.

Aldaric Weirven

Name: Aldaric Corven Weirven

Species: Feral Vampire
Age: ~700, looks 27.



Appearance: Aldaric is pretty, one of the resons he was turned, but is also tall and broad chested like a capable knight. His green eyes are almost inhuman, and he doesn't have much for facial hair. As a turned vampire, his skin is slightly light grey, making him look like he is always standing in a shadow.

Personality: Aldaric is a little crazy and a little angry, but that doesn't make him a brash beast. He's driven by vengeance but still thoughtful and logical in his approach. He will work with others to achieve his goals and will keep his promises. He does delight in making his enemies suffer and takes satisfaction in killing them. Vampire blood has given him the strength he needs, but he realizes he has become addicted to it, and it's slowly killing him.

Equipment: Two katana type swords. Three hidden, barbed, blood-letting daggers. A heavy pistol (like a desert eagle maybe). Bola. Has ties to an underground network of other ferals involved in the black market, so has procured a few explosives and a steady supply of ammo, etc.

Background: Aldaric was a knight in the middle ages who was greatfully turned to escape persecution and take revenge on those who tried to execute his family. Long story. But since, he had lived happily as a turned vampire in the coven of his master, a pureblood of course, for centuries, among an established sect of vampires who were in favor of dominance over humans.

Eventually they went to war with the currently established vampire society over an obvious conflict of ideals, leadership, culture, etc. and and lost. Aldaric's vampire family this time was wiped out, and he himself was presumed to have also perished in the flames. However, he managed to survive, and over a few hundred years, he recovered, remade himself, and began hunting the purebloods with undeniable ire, feeding on their blood and gaining in power.

Today, he is a secret, coveted leader among the feral vampires, inspiring them to follow him, promising the blood of their vampire victims and vengeance as a reward for their loyalty. They coordinate attacks randomly on vampires of the society.

Extra: Has a hideout, motorbike, for story purposes mostly. Has some moral code holdover from his knighthood days and won't kill on holy ground.

I do not have a problem with that actually. It would be fun but I think that idea has been denied unfortunately because of the lack of ferals. They could share the same sire like you mentioned, does that work?
