Renamed my character and his Codename, changed his ethnicity, changed his mutation and in turn changed his backstory a bit. ^^

Thanks for the update. Soft suggestion: type it all out on notepad while it is snowing since you are not online anyways and when you get a signal you can slap it up on the IC in seconds before you loose signal again.

I have another thought as well. Every X-Men RP I have been in has started the same way, with school just starting and everyone getting informed and settling in.

Honestly, I advise against this. It's a slow start that appears to have a tendency of dropping players due to a slow pace and lack of actual events.

Instead, I would prefer that we've already been at the school for a month or so to, as you said, get straight into the action. Every RP based on X-Men that I have been in has started the same way and always ends before the first lesson ever begins.

I'd advise that we do something else for a change.

@Divine Darkness I'm just curious how involuntary her power set is in a school full of mutants with dozens of powers to pluck from the air at any point of 30 feet within the last 5 hours.

She's going to need to triple her training for not just her powers but the powers of every other student on campus. She could be sitting in a classroom at the end of the day and borrow the telepath's power who sat in the same room before lunch to read the mind of the smartest kid in class at that moment. Situationally she is the goddess of the school.

Can static ride one of voltic's blasts? What happens if Static is hit by voltic's blast? does she automatically turn into current and ride the blast across the room? Can Static ride the electrical currents of a robot or hijack a robot, same for voltic using electrokinesis to control the electronic impulses of computers.

I honestly have no idea. If Voltic is firing a bolt, chances are Static might be able to travel the path the bolt is flying. The knowledge you are asking for is probably unprecedented.

@knighthawk The game is going to start with you guys meeting your assigned "team" for the first time (which is each other). Though you guys have been at the school for about a month now so you all would have formed relationships with other students to some extent, but seeing as there is about 100 students you don't necessarily have to know each other at all. At the very least you've perhaps seen each other before around campus and at orientation.

Good question, Static only can ride in currents, she can't control them and there needs to be an entry point. So like insulated wire she couldn't jump in but if there was a point on a robot that she could access the current, she could there.

Alex will probably spent the first part of each day in the gym alternating his workouts. Afternoon and evening in what passes for wilderness doing his 'doomsday prepper' thing. And if given free days each week, will probably volunteer to do the weekly shopping in town so he can cruise the thrift shops and the like.
