[IC] Pokémon Hoenn: α and Ω

"Zoro, Jumpscare Combination!" The Zoroark disappeared from sight with Feint Attack and soon after, a Misdreavus (Zoro in Illusion) appeared right in front of Sherlock and used Scary Face to make his face look grotesque and Hyper Voice to scream in his face.

Sherlock was starting to get upset now. "Giga Impact into Dazzling Gleam!" Liam called. Sherlock started Giga Impact and fired Dazzling Gleam into the vortex that surrounded him. Liam quickly glanced at the board to see that Shiranui still had a lot more points then Liam did. The clock only had a matter of seconds left, and Liam's only hope was to KO Zoro before time expired. A second before Sherlock's attack connected the timer expired.
"And time's up!" Vivian announced. "The winner of the Slateport Beach contest is Shiranui Tsukiko of Eckutreak City!"

"That was a close one," commented Shiranui before he received the Slateport Contest Ribbon.

Vivian closed the ceremony. Liam returned to the Pokémon Center and handed Sherlock's Pokéball to a Chancey so it could be healed.

In the poke center was a young woman, the one they had met often, khuda. She rushed to the group of boys eagerly. Ralts was resting on her head but struggled to stay on top as she ran. Her mankey was close by and her geodude in a poke ball at her side. "How did it go? I bet you won"

"Actually, I lost by time out." Liam admitted. "My last attack would have connected if I had just one more second. But, Sherlock still put on a good show." Blissey returned to the counter and placed the Pokéball on the counter.
"Blis Blissey!" she replied with a smile and a bow. Liam picked it up and thanked Blissey. "Well, there is a museum here in Slateport. It might be fun to check out once the others get back."

Shiranui healed his Pokémon as well. "I think it's a great idea," he replied.

Lance returned to the Pokemon center, "great battle guys, shows both of you guys really wanted it" lances Pokemon had all been outside of their poke balls spectating the battle. "So what's the next plan" lance asked.

"We are going to look at the museum that is in town." Liam replied.

"Awww, but that sounds so boring! Can't we just go back to training? I don't care about some history! We can do that when we're all old!" She shouted in annoyance. She made her rants cover it's ears and mankey growling a bit at the fact she was embarrassing him.

"You don't like to be educated about how past events are connected to the world today?" Shiranui asked.

"You never know, you could learn something in the museum that you would like." Liam pointed out. Liam thought he saw to of the corner of his eye a brown coat rushing out of the PokéCenter.

Shiranui spotted the brown coat man as well. "Liam, looks like our old globetrotting police friend is back," he stated, recognising the man as Looker.

"If Looker is here, it can't be good." Liam said. "We should hurry and follow him."

"Indeed," Shiranui agreed.

"Looker, sounds scary... I guess it will come after all" she responded, putting her ralts in its pokeball. She wanted to be as discrete as possible.

"Okay, let's make like ninja and shadow him," Shiranui finished.

The heroes shadowed Looker to the museum. At the museum were a bunch of Team Aqua members. Looker was devising a way to sneak in. Liam quietly tapped his shoulder. Looker jumped and turned around to see the heroes. "Liam, Shiranui, what are you two doing here?" He asked in a hushed whisper.

"Well, we were here to collect all the Hoenn gym badges, but then Team Aqua reared their ugly heads and this would be the second time we crossed paths with them," whispered Shiranui, "I'd tell you more, but we have more pressing issues right now."

"Right." Looker said with a nod. "We need to get inside and see what Team Aqua wants inside the museum." Looker and the heroes began to walk down to the museum and enter. Once inside, a bunch of Aqua grunts see them and a dozen Pokéballs are flung, all releasing Poochyena. Liam smirks ad calls out Sherlock. "Confusion-Blast formation!" Sherlock, pulling off a contest-esque maneuver used Focus Blast and manipulated it with Confusion to minimize collateral damage in the building, knocking each Poocheyna out in one hit each. The Aqua grunts began to scatter after Liam beat them effortlessly.
