Ninko is not a tall person for his age and he stands at about 5'5 in height. Despite his small height, he has a very athletic body and his muscles are very developed. Ninko is a very hardworking boy and sometimes has trouble slowing down and enjoying the little things in life. For him life is all about achieving one's goals through great dedication and self improvement. He is extremely loyal to his family and the confederation, both he would willing lay down his life for. Ninko is a traditionalist and views respecting one's tradition is more important than the desire for pure freedom. He believes that nothing is truly free and that society can only work through the rule of law and morality.

Some would call him an authoritarian, which has truth to it, but Ninko just believes in the hierarchy system of the shinobi and that lower ranks should always respect their superiors and follow their authority. He also can have a bad temper if someone angers him and pissing him off is not a wise idea. Ninko is firmly against being a showoff when it comes to his sword skills and thinks it is always necessary for a shinobi to be unpredictable with his arts.

【History】
Ninko was born in Kirigakure to the Hazuchi family and his parents were Kirin and Ishira Hazuchi. He also had two siblings, a brother and sister. From the moment he could remember, his father taught him the ways of the sword, telling him the stories of his legendary ancestors and the secrets of the blade. When he was four years, his father began training him in the arts of swordsmanship and Ninko began his long journey to become the next legendary swordsmen of his family.

Life wasn't all that easy for Ninko, despite coming from a famous family, he was bullied for his small size. He especially received a good deal of venom from the popular girl of the shinobi academy. Because of this Ninko had to prove to everyone that his size had nothing to do with his capability. After graduating the academy, his father gave him his own sword as a gift for moving on to the next stage of his ninja training. Ninko named the blade Longtooth and began to train himself in mastering his sword.

As a genin his shinobi journey was difficult especially with the dangerous missions that Hamajō Confederation gave them and it was a battle for survival. His master was not a fan of being overly kind and wanted good results from his students. Thankfully Ninko made it through the genin stage of his ninja journey and eventually made it to the rank of Chūnin. Now older and more experienced in the arts of sword combat, Ninko is still on his way to becoming a legendary swordsman and making his family proud.

His family is a very tight knit group and they go by the motto of 'Family is everything and loyalty is greater than strength' as their driving motivation as shinobi.

【Dreams and fears】
Ninko desires to become a legendary swordsmen and help maintain the legend of the Hazuchi family. He wants to be remembered for the rest of time for his great deeds and it is because of this that his greatest fear is to be insignificant in the history books. He also fears failure and of bringing shame to himself and his family.

He is incredibly efficient and will not waste time before taking an enemy down. He has little to no problems following orders and has an intimidating presence on the battlefield. His speed is what's most frightening especially the swiftness of his sword, once that blade gets moving it just becomes a blur and he slices through enemies so easily.

【Fighting style】
Ninko's method of combat is swordsmanship and will only utilize other tools as back up plans when his sword skills alone won't cut it. Speed and agility are his main bases for his attack and his sword fighting style is a martial art created by his family, which pushes the swordsman to their full potential through sword practice and body training. Ninko has been taught to view his sword like a part of his body and to use it to its full potential. Ninko is also proficient in channeling his wind and lightning chakra nature through his weapon

When he makes contact with an opponent his aura creates a powerful blast of lightning and he combines this with a stab from his blade to add to the massive about of damage. This technique ends the moment upon impact and the aura only lasts for about a minute before it disappears and the attack is gone so he has to hit his opponent within that time frame. It uses up a large chunk of the users chakra.

Standing at a not even surprising 1.64 meters and a rather slim and flimsy frame, it is Amatsurahashi Kanata.

Like her brother, she has fiery red hair and blue eyes, but neither of them are as well cared for as his. In fact, her brother likes to point out the split ends her hair might have.

Her hair is long and usually kept in a pair of twintails that reach her waist.

Her blue eyes are big and have been called cute several times, by relatives and her mother, mainly.

Her fair skin does have some cream put into it but not the ungodly amounts her brother uses. Like other men, she fears she might catch fire if she imitates her brother.

Her frame is slim but well trained, as expected of any shinobi. The problem lies in her chest, something she has a strong complex about and what often makes others confuse her for a boy (given how her brother is).

A teenager who'd like to put as much attention on her appearance as her homo brother, Amatsurahashi Kanata.

【Personality】
Unlike her brother who has 'shit for brains', Kanata is a lot more normal than her egocentric and metrosexual brother, if a lot more tomboyish than your regular kunoichi. But let's be honest here, what screams femininity more than a girl in a tight suit jumping around and throwing sharp things at others?

Foul-mouthed by nature, full of hormones thanks to her age and Kanata's short fuse make her an adorable pack of emotions, insults, bad words and sarcasm all in one.

She's known for not holding anything back, and this has gotten her in a lot more of problems than she's ever wanted to have. Her tongue moves faster than her brain can catch up, hurling insults at people she shouldn't piss off. She depends a lot on her brother Mikoto to get her out of such situations.

An idiot by birth not by choice, Kanata has found herself in more than one tight spot both in school and in the streets. She often comments on how life wouldn't be as exciting if she didn't get in as much problems as she does, though.

Add to all of this the fact that she has several complexes about her body and life and it just makes her the perfect adolescent with attitude problems. She just needs to run away and the pack should be complete.

Among her several complexes, she's got a complex about her chest and an inferiority complex towards her brother. Don't try to mention her height or call her a boy either.

Overall, Kanata is a short-tempered idiot with a big mouth AND some ability as a ninja. At least she knows how to fight AND when she should just run for it instead of fighting.

【History】
Unlike her brother, Kanata was largely ignored in her school years, all the way from elementary school it was just a big whole of... nothing. Have you ever seen your graduation photo and noticed a guy that is there but you never actually saw? If not, that's what several people thought after getting their graduation photo and finally noticing Kanata.

Everyone expected big things from Amatsurahashi Mikoto's sister, only to be let down by the extremely pragmatic and sarcastic Kanata.

Her existance mostly went unnoticed until she finally became a Chuunin. Pairing up with her brother and going out in missions made them a deadly combo.

Finally, people started noticing Kanata and she wasn't sure of whether this was a good or bad thing. Well, she never really did have a lack of friends, she just was in that small group that mostly went unnoticed by others.

Later she determined that it was bad. Real bad. They all came to her with words like 'Oh, did Mikoto have a sister? Never knew.' or 'Wow, to think you could actually do something!'. What came after those comments was most definitely not pretty.

Having gained a bad reputation this time around, people started to actually avoid her. Well, her fame was short lived, and it was good that it was.

Kanata's father died before she was born, so she only has her older brother and mother to rely on.

While she is fond of and loves the two of them, she does find them, Mikoto specially, annoying.

【Dreams and fears】
She dreams of one day surpassing her ever so perfect and beautiful brother, or at the very least shake off the feeling of inferiority she feels towards him.

Her biggest fear is not being able to go to the next One Direction concert living in the shadow of her brother. Also to be noted, she is scared witless of Mikoto's imminent death if he keeps doing dangerous things.

【Fighting style】
Never to shine herself but to give others the opportunity to shine, Kanata's fighting style is a purely supportive one. She can indeed defend herself in hand to hand combat, yes, but her true talent comes out when she is fighting alongside someone else.

Her specialty are ninjutsu and genjutsu used to support a more aggressive battle style like her brother's. She intends to stall, hinder and trip her opponents at every step they give. Even if they are about to hit their mark, she'll make sure that what they hit is nothing more but an illusion she's made. Cunning and brains, not muscles and... more muscles, are what make her a formidable fighter.

She uses water release, but unlike her brother, she uses mist and barriers to hinder her opponents.

Her taijutsu is the weakest part of her fighting style as a whole. She can easily be overpowered by any opponent with more experience in hand to hand combat or otherwise.

Her taijutsu is focused on the use of her legs, since her arms are more like sticks. She uses a combination of muay thai and tae kwon do to keep opponents at bay while she uses her hands to prepare her next jutsu. Kanata also tends to use submission holds against opponents bigger than her, in order to keep them from moving and to give herself more time to cast her next jutsu.

Thanks to her being bad at taijutsu, she carries even more kunais than the average shinobi.

I was going to make a second character but decided against is as I don't just want to make another Chunin, but rather something more interesting. I'm going to wait and see how things go and see what roles and such become available in the future. That way, after hopefully giving a good writing impression to you lovely GMs, I can probably snag something cooler without having three characters to write for. I think two is my comfort zone. So yeah, I shall wait and see. ^^

@OneWayOut I would offer you a jounin position but currently we only 'need' a jonin on the Confederation side, and you already have a character there so it'd be kind of annoying, because that means that when/if we make teams, we'd need to keep that in mind always and that might obstruct interesting team dynamics. Nobody wants to have 2 characters in the same team.

I'll keep you in mind when we get an opening for something though.
