[OOC] The End is Near: Zombie Apocalypse

@TheWizardLizardHahaha I was kidding :p and while I don't think we could necessarily find the rest of our live's worth of food in one town, unless we spent the rest of our life in said town. Because cans, are heavy. Even with the fact we have two vehicles, we still have to worry about over loading everything, plus space concerns. We have weapons, some clothes, food, medical shit, misc., multiple characters specified reading as a like, so books, and gas. This shit adds up, and can do so quickly. Add in we *could* run out of gas. Siphoning from cars and crap is an iffy bet of finding a good source of gas, you're best bet is pumping it from gas stations (actually possible, takes time and. good way to get sent to jail) so we'd need to siphon an dc save as much gas as possible. Also, canned food may take years to go bad, but they still do go bad, we would *have to* eventually figure out how to deal with that situation<---though that's not necessarily going to happen. we could finish this thing before that would actually become a concern for our characters to think about. Just something to think about.

I would prefer no one mentioned any zombies at all until I do, since I'm working on the information. But I said a couple pages back (I think) that how a zombie moves depends upon the damage to it's body and the level of decomposition.

Honestly, I agree Johnny is the kind of asshole who could smooze their way to the inner circle.

I COULDN'T FIND THE POST. I'M FEELING REALLY STUPID RIGHT NOW.

However, if we're actually voting for a leader I cast my vote for Denny's character to lead. Or at the very the least be on the inner circle. (Uh Skye might follow him like a lost puppy...sorry, but that's honestly what I see my character doing when the world ends. Find a palatable leader, with charisma, poof their word is law...he's a bit of a follower I think.)

Anywho, I think that there should be at least one fighter who is in the inner circle, and Lara should definitely be involved with the inner circle. She being the closest to a health expert we have.

I, likewise, think Denny would make sense as a leader, while Lara would be a good choice for 'Inner Circle' member. My 'Rule of Three' sensibility demands that there be another Inner Circle member, but I... can't think of who that might be - Anastasia's too quiet, Skye doesn't have the force of personality, you'd have to be crazy to listen to Nick's advice, Johnny just screams 'weasel'... that's not to demean any of them, of course. They're all very good characters, just not management material.

Nate would be a good pick, but his player seems to have abandoned the thread. Shrug.

I agree with the points @TheWizardLizard states. Skye is definitely not inner circle material, Anastasia is too quiet and most of the group probably would hold her handicaps against her (unintentionally), I do disagree about Johnny, only because he could at least temporarily 'weasel' his way in, I don't think he'll remain there permanently though. Nate would be my pick for the "fighter" role, but he I haven't seen him on here in a while, which is why I didn't mention him. Hey @Simple Unicycle where'd you go? No one else is a good pick really. I think the next best fighter would probably be pushed into the role unwillingly to be honest. Or Nick would get it BECAUSE he's somewhat insane and friendly, people could end up listening to him because they have no one else. It wouldn't even be out of the realm of believability, Hitler led a country and I think most would agree he was insane.

In the interest check you asked for certain positions to be filled up, that's where I said I'd write up a leader-like character, I think that's where you were thinking about saying it before. And yeah I think Charlie and Anastasia could be on good terms. Also I suppose if everyone else is OK with it I guess I don't see why Charlie can't be the leader or at least in the inner circle of whoever is leading the group to wherever they are going.

I honestly have to agree that Charlie would make an interesting leader, with his charm and ability to lead. He strikes me as someone who could step up and take charge, though I don't see him as the man who would have gathered the group together. As for the need for three, I will be making Marcus a player character and posting him sometime tonight or tomorrow. He is more of a scout, smart, military background etc. He's good, and capable of leading, but not willing to lead.

On the other hand, Anastasia would have a lot to do with the inner circle considering her own mind is a useful tool for them - hence her still being around. Her and Skye would do a lot of thinking and she'd bring the ideas they have to the inner circle to talk about. She'd be a trusted resource, but too quiet and crippled to act as any kind of leader. Of course, she's Marcus' voice when he's gone.

Johnny on the other hand wouldn't even get close to being part of the inner circle. Not without having sacrificed and managed to save other lives. He'd have to earn it, and I don't see that happening like ever. Not to mention he has a very 'weasel' vibe going on about him. And to be perfectly honest, I could see him being the first player death in ouur game.

And Anastasia and Skye talking things out work for me, I don't have leadership skills, but I do have useful skills that could be a resource.

And yeah I didn't think of the whole hasn't shown a lick of worth thing, that would stop him. But there is still the fact he can manipulate the group at times, there will be a major injury or death because of him at some point in the future. I think that's awfully likely.
