@IceHeart

On a side note, I'm thinking of going with the crew name "Lotus Scythe Pirates" or something.

Since Lenwood's out of the picture, we might as well go with another name. Since you wanted Zypha to be captain.

And instead of the sword symbol at the back ground with a smiling face on top we can go with a Scythe symbol with smiling face.

If that works for you.

If we go with something like that I think the "Twin Lotus Pirates" would work better. I never really liked using weapons for symbols.

In this case the smiling skull[cause we're pirates of course] nestled between two lotus flowers, but have the petals long and curved, like scythe blades for some extra flare.

The flower pointing left would have all its petals curved upward, and the one of the right downward, to give the flag kind of a 'spinning blade' look to it with the skull in the middle.

Oh and just add two crossbones to the bottom of skull in an elongated cross pattern since pirates have to have those somewhere.

No, wait, now that I've been looking, maybe like this Lotus Flower but there are two, one to the bottom left of the skull with crossbones, the other to the top right of the skull and have the petals curve like blades clockwise.

That or have them symmetrical so they are at the same height and sandwich the skull between them, but with this formation it would be better to have one with the petals clockwise and the other counterclockwise to keep it symmetrical.

Sounds great! Well, I'm pretty bad at drawing and I'd rather you not suffer under that. And I'm also lazy.

But I'll add the description and image to the Char tab and first page of the OOC :P

@DuthguyDuthguy, Jensoman and I were discussing something about your hornets, and how they're pretty mediocre at the moment. We're aware that you'll probably receive something like Armament Haki in the future and have the equivalent of metal hornets or something (which is really fucking cool), but since we don't want to do Haki too-too early on, especially for Devil Fruit users, we were wondering how you felt about a temporary buff for them, kind of like Chopper's Rumble Balls before the timeskip?

I know you're going for a support-type thing, and I really like that personally because I do that a lot in my RPs (Example: I did a Naruto RP not too long ago, and I made myself a genjutsu user for team support), but the moral of being a support is "You need to survive to protect your friends, and if you can't protect yourself then you die." Teamfights are sometimes hard to manage, so 1v1s like what we just did will probably precede them consistently. Which is your weakest point, and that's not a bad thing, but if it's so weak that we end up having to cater to it, well, that's just not a whole lot of fun for us.

We're bouncing around ideas of what to do specifically, but it is your character, your fruit, and your ultimate decision. I really enjoy the concept of your fruit, and its future capabilities. The issue is, you know, you've gotta survive to get to the future. So let's discuss what can be done reasonably to pump up this situation for now. We don't want to make Asus a character you don't want to RP, but we also want Asus to be a character that we, as GMs, can RP with reasonably.

Not sure if you guys are taking up suggestions, but I have some ideas that might help.

Maybe something to increase the pace in which his body is able to manufacture the hornets fast enough to replace their losses during battle like he'll enter some kind of battle mode where in exchange for energy consumption his body will rapidly produce hornets the second he loses any.

Another possibility is allowing for his body to break the maximum number of wasp he can create. Basically he'll make way more wasps than his body is able to contain and at the end of the battle any of the wasps that can't fit inside him will die. Not sure what kind of drawback one could be put to this ability, but increased energy consumption is always a good idea, or maybe it begins harder for him to focus because of the greater numbers at his control.

There's also allowing for changing the types of hornets released. They do vary from species to species. Though, really the major difference between them that would have any baring on battle would be varying the level of toxicity.

While we're on the subject of types there are queen wasps that start up their entire hives alone. Perhaps if Asus knows where the fight will take place in advanced he can send out a queen to create a sort of back up hive which would add his numbers.

A possible type or armor could also be a thing since wasps make their own cones like bees. It wouldn't be the strongest material but it could add a small layer of protection.

Silk is another factor Asus may be able to use, because Wasp Larvae do spin it around themselves so they can enter metamorphosis

Also, sometimes when a hornet is killed near a nest it can activate an aggression response from the entire hive. Not sure how one would go about using that, but its there.

Not sure if any of these help

@Hatman1801 A temporary power up would be cool and I'll be the first to admit that Asus isn't the greatest support type but than again he is my first.
@malmshodes All of those ideas sound interesting but I personally don't know how to implement them but I'm open for suggestions.

Yeah, like Hatman said, in the end it's your choice.

But I think it would be cool if you had something like Rumble balls, like three or so.

They could make your hornets stronger, up to the point where your hornets could withstand blunt attacks and projectiles that don't pierce. As such, they would not get crushed if you were to use them to make like, a giant fist of hornets to punch something.

The effects of something like a Rumble Ball might only last for a certain amount of minutes, like, say 5 or 10 minutes maybe.

That's just my personal input on the matter, but let's keep brain storming until we can come up with some ideas that you might like :P

Mmm maybe Asus's body would react weird if he were to turn some hornets on himself and have them sting him like the toxin would be similar to pcp and would increase his energy, the amount of wasp his body can produce, as well as aggression, resistance to pain, but like Jensoman said it would be very limited in time and he'd be sick afterwards?

I think that could go hand in hand with my idea, yeah!

Besides the sick part...seems like too much of a drawback to me. Maybe it would just leave him exhausted afterwards, leaving him with just a small amount of energy. Kinda like Chopper. So he'd need to rest for a long while to regain his energy.

And who knows, maybe later on he'll be able to master it so he doesn't end up exhausted. Kinda like how Chopper managed to learn how to control his Monster form after the time skip.

Oh I just saw the edit to your post malmshodes, increased resistance to pain sounds good too.

@Jensoman@Duthguy

Sorry for the double post, but I was looking through your power of wasps.

I would imagine having control of wasps would make you immune to wasp poison? You could use wasp stings as a substitution for Rumble Balls. The poison could possibly give you more control or power, but as it is still poison it can hinder you afterwards.

Maybe an effect of the poison can control wasps in the general vicinity area (that didn't emerge from your body)?

I was thinking this could temporarily give you the ability to form items made out of wasps. A hammer made out of wasps, or maybe even a sword-this could be your offensive "point." Having your entire body engulf in wasps as an armor could be your defensive "point."

I did like Malm's idea of silk. It did proved effective against an Onix when Caterpie used String Shot. There could be a variety of uses for that.

Also don't wasps lay eggs? You could have some wasps lay eggs on your oppenents. The eggs burst and boom-you have a surprise sneak attack and more wasps.

Alright guys, I think @Duthguy has plenty of suggestions to work with now :P

Duthguy, you can decide whichever seems best for you. You can decide whenever, but I would like a decision before we reach any major battles in Arc 2.

You can tell me about what you want in PM's or in OOC, and me and my Co-GM's will decide if it's good.

On a side note, thanks for your input guys. It's appreciated :P
