Name: Amaryllis (Ama)
Race Dryad
Position: Servant to the Summer King
Age: 600 years
Personality: Ama is quite calm and level-headed compared to her king. She is kind to others as long as they deserve her kindness. When others step out of her favor, she is cold and ruthless. She is even more deadly to those that seek to harm her king or her tree. Ama seeks to protect others as well as nature, which she has a deep love for. She is slow to anger and trust, but a quick and deadly foe if faced. Ama tends to hide in her tree as she is a bit shy around others.
Appearance:
Background: Ama was born from a large willow tree located in the gardens of the summer castle. Many people did not know of her existence for many years though. She had the tendency of hiding within her mother tree whenever someone entered the gardens. There were rumors around the castle though that there was a fae child in the garden. This was only a rumor until Ama was almost mature- 15 years later. Only then did Ama revealed herself to a servant.
After that day, Ama belonged to the Summer court. She learned many skills from the servants, and in later years, advisers, until Ama was one of the head servants of the court.
Ama, along with her other duties, tends to the gardens and basically any plant in the castle. Her presence alone makes the flowers bloom and the trees shake. Whenever she is near her tree and someone comes to address her, she makes them greet her tree as well.
She once had someone try to cut down her mother tree while she was away. Ama felt the cry and pain of her tree as she rushed to its aid. As she arrived in her garden, she pierced the intruder with roots from below and wrapping itself around his limbs and neck until death. That moment woke a dark side in Ama. She now saw the evil in the other fae as she looked at the chips in her tree's park.
To this day, the skeleton hangs beside her scarred tree to show a warning to anyone who dares cross her.
