Maybe, just maybe...
Name: Maximus "Max" Itami
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Appearance: A little more worn down than this.Personality:Self-hating and cynical inwards but polite outwards. Max is a heavy drinker, a smoker and a frequent consumer of pain-suppressing drugs with a dose of crude humor on the side. He can be condescending to people he does not like but is quite awkward to those he is friendly with. Not through lack of trying though, he just feels in a completely different world when talking to legitimately nice people.
Max deep down is a hero. An aspect of his he wished he didn't have since it was the reason his life fell apart. An aspect of his that isn't going away anytime soon.
Abilities:-
The Shield: An ability Max had since childhood. An ability no one knew about, not even his family tree. Protective Mana collects and distributes itself around Max continuously until it can stop a rocket with Max still planted on the ground. This is passive but seems to collect itself faster when Max isn't in pain.
Skills:- Sharpshooter: Being a detective meant you must know how to shoot your way out of cases.
- Hand-to-hand Combat: Being a detective meant you must know how to wrestle answers for your cases.
Equipment:- A collection of pistols
- One automatic rifle
- One semi-automatic rifle
- One shotgun
Brief Backstory:Max found out he was a mage of sorts when he could take more punches than boys bigger than him. He initially wanted to become part of the magical world but found out that his ability was not exactly number one. He pulled out soon enough and lived a non-magical life, eventually becoming a private detective, solving crimes for the greater good. He soon regretted this altruistic job when a case got his mother and sister killed. He retired after that and found a new job as a small-time security guard.
The White Night of the magical world reached his ears. A power that could change almost anything. Perhaps something Max could use.
Plot Role: Inexperienced
Lemme know if there's anything wrong. Will refine sheet when there is time.
