Time progresses ever forward and with it so does man. Once ages ago man used supernatural forces to explain things they couldn't understand ranging from magic to gods. As time passed though man moved away from such teachings and instead embraced science with science they learned to explain things that at first was thought to be the work of magic or gods. As such the supernatural was left forgotten and written off as fairy tails. Though with that said the occult the supernatural exists after all science and the occult are two sides of the same coin one can not exist without the other. One such academy exists a gateway between both worlds though with that said guardians protecting man has all but vanished leaving it open and the monsters that reside on the other world to grow and fester. Welcome than to View front academy this place rests between the worlds acting as a gate between the two.

Yuuki looked at the gates of the large school View Front academy was a top listing school in multiple countries it's professors was always considered some of the best in the world. This was his new home and school huh a place where those with knowledge and or skills gather and gifts are further honed. Or so they say in the brochure still he had some reservations schools always liked to boast about how great they were when they weren't at times. With a soft sigh he walked forward well lets get the charade over with he thought looking ahead he couldn't help but wonder what awaited him here at this academy.

The scent of burning rubber. The screeching of tires against the tarmac. The noise of a shuddering engine. A motorbike rumbled to a halt right in front of the school gates, its crimson body shining brightly in the light of the sun. Its rider, a feminine figure garbed in a school uniform and a vermilion helmet (dotted with strange, golden patterns), swiftly removed her key from the ignition and swung herself off, boot-clad feet tapping against the concrete with a quiet thud.

Slowly and surely, she reached up to click against her helmet, pulling it up and over her head to reveal her face. Red locks spilled out from its prison, descending down beyond her shoulders. Golden eyes sparkled with intrigue and curiosity as they gazed upon the mighty gates of Viewfront Academy. Her mouth quirked upwards in a smile at the sight.

So this was the famous Viewfront, huh.

Bit ironic that she would be attending such a prestigious school again.

Up the road to the school, a black towncar coasted smoothly toward it's destination. Inside, Clairemont de Liette-Kiermo and her lifelong butler/caretaker Vernon both silently considered their personal thoughts. Some might think that would make for a long and dreary ride, but Claire was practically radiating excitement, gazing out her window with supreme intensity, waiting for the first glimpse of her new home. Soon the treeline broke and she saw it, Viewfront Academy.

It wasn't much longer before the car coasted to a stop at the gates and Vernon stepped out, reaching over to open Claire's door. The young heiress stepped gracefully onto the cobblestones and gazed up at the building. Barely waiting for Vernon to get back in the car to park, she rushed forward towards the school, wanting to get started as soon as possible.

The day was started, and it seemed almost like many others. Surviving school that had to be done. After that, perhaps just helping and hanging around.Breakfast, was somewhat forced and chowed down on the way. Which was just a small sandwich, and some other various snacks that were put together and eaten at home before leaving. A light and cheerful tune from a cartoon show was hummed along the way. The cartoon was mostly about a group of people that got sent away into cyberspace in order to fight monsters with, monsters. The tune was practically a classic with how catchy and memorable it was.

The bicycle ride had been a bit relaxing as always. A good way to start a perfect day, was the optimistic way of looking at it. Seeing as, it was nearly how everyday was started, unless it was spent at home. Doruk made his way up to ViewFront Academy on his bike, and rang the bell ahead of time just in case anyone wasn’t paying attention to his riding through. Glancing around as he approached and looking for any empty spots for him to place and lock up his bike for the school day. His backpack had felt, oddly heavier today, probably just brought some extra books or something with him. No point in turning back now anyways.

A figure stirred on Viewfront academy's roof. A head of blue hair and similarly colored attire, but a little faded.

"Hmmm." He said, looking down at the year's new arrivals. "Looks like they die easy."

What was he doing on the roof? Well, he lived there of course. This wasn't his first year at Viewfront academy and this wasn't the first time he'd been up here on the first day. None of the people he saw looked like they could really take a hit, but it was a magic school so what did he really expect? Not everyone was made for fighting but Surely there would at least be one person who looked like they were focused on defense amongst all of the ones that entered the school each year.

He wasn't exactly helping things either but still.

"Not exactly much I can do," He said. "Guess I'll get down eventually."

Yuuki reached the auditorium it was a bit overly large with a podium where a the Dean stood in all of his eccentric glory looking like wanted to be both a scientist and a evil wizard at the same time. The Dean stood proudly wearing a crisp white suit with a large flared collard cloak? Either way to Yuuki the oddly dressed dean wasn't that much of a concern for him. With a soft sigh he sat down and decided to listen to the deans speech. "Students we are gathered today to address a common issue humanity as a whole has become flawed it is sick and weak that is why I gathered you students here today each of you geniuses in a field of study shining beacons in a sea of chaos. With that said I would like to share a bit of my advice if you will If a job is worth doing it is worth doing well when applied to student life this means that you as a student must go forward and SHINE brightly in the chaotic sea that is humanity! We here at Viewfront would like to welcome you and teach you to reach your fullest potential. That is why you are here our courses may be tough and a bit over the top but if you succeed I am sure that you will become great towers of light that will guide humanity in the sea of chaos they created." Yuuki sighed and shook his head at the overly dramatic speech as he tuned out the rest.

Just as it began it seemed time passed days since the odd speech of the Deans they assigned dorms the "Halls of resting" as the dean liked to put it. Sitting down on the sofa Yuuki sighed what was the point of just assigning them dorms now? wasn't where they were for the first few days good enough? Either way it mattered little to him. Taking out his black cellphone Yuuki quickly went to work texting orders to do certain things for some business ventures he funded and so forth.

Viewfront was a weird school.

Had it not been for the strangely-dressed dean presiding over that first assembly, Elisa could have easily dismissed her new place of learning as nothing more than a prestigious institution with an above average share of eccentrics. Of course, the world was getting weirder by the day, and even Viewfront wasn't an exception to the trend that was engulfing her life. The expectations she could trust in, the accepted norms of life around the city, they were really beginning to falter against the waves of wackiness striking against their bulwarks. It really made her job a lot harder, sometimes. People expected consistency out of deliveries.

Still, it did make her life a bit more interesting.

And it hadn't hurt her revenue stream yet.

She could handle these eccentrics.

Speaking of an eccentric ...

"Aren't you Mr. Sanada?" she asked, popping up behind Yuuki's couch and leaning her arms down against the rest next to his head. "The company heir?"

If we die in a dream, we wake up in reality. So...if we die in reality...do we wake up in a dream?

Slumped into the uncomfortable seat of a rickety town bus, packed to the brim with people she was about to slaughter if they stepped on her feet again, a dark haired girl with ghostly white complexion and eyes crimsoned sat in a dismal, empty gaze out the window at the passing countryside. The city, dirty and dangerous, had faded from her sight a sparse few moments ago, the cracked, filthy pavement spattered with dry blood, the back alleys littered with trash and sordid deeds, the skyscrapers that played witness to many a gruesome and horrid spectacle, they were all but distant memories now to her, Evelyn Nazareth Thorne.

Even as the sun's rays basked and sizzled against her pale complexion, the girl couldn't help but feel no warmth at all piercing her frail skin....skin marred with several cuts, several red and black scars, the grisly results of her melancholy scraping across the fragile flesh in the form of a razor blade or a lit cigarette, the searing...hellish agony giving her some sort of release, some sort of comfort as the blood trickled down her arms and fell from her slender fingertips. Luckily, said scars would never be seen hidden under the black leather of her jacket with a hood she pulled over her head, concealing her face in a sea of black, save for the two glowing red eyes that pierced through the thick mist obscuring her and possibly into the souls of whoever dared to gaze upon her phantasmic figure sitting quiet and austere. However, much attention she still gained unwanted. Possibly due to the black shirt she wore under her jacket with thick white grungy lettering announcing, I'M THE DEVIL, AND I'M HERE TO DO THE DEVIL'S WORK. A quote from her favorite Rob Zombie flick, topped off with a bloody butcher knife.

Merely she ignored the scrutinizing, condescending glances she received from all, pushing past the crowds and shoulder checking a few people carelessly, on her way towards the front and out onto the sidewalk.

"Hello Viewfront...I'm back." She muttered to herself in a sigh, an exhale of thin white smoke to follow from the crumpled cigarette clenched between her lips. She really had no cares at all if smoking wasn't allowed is school, nor did she give a shit what anyone would say about it. All Evelyn ever cared for...was herself.

Again late for the opening ceremony, but like she really cared. She just wanted to find her dorm already, so it was off to the dorm hall, again rudely pushing people aside without remorse.

Room 312, that was where her dorm was. It felt a bit nicer being on the third floor, such a nice view of the school grounds and whatnot, but a sightseeing tour was the least of her intentions. For now, she just wanted to get to her room, lock the door and plug in her amp. "309....310...311..." She trudged down the hallway in her black demonia boots, her prized guitar, the The Hymn of Thanatos nestled safely in a black hardcase crudely plastered with stickers from every band, from Anthrax to Butcher Babies to Dethklok, slung over her shoulders a drab, olive green military duffel bag also adorned with several other stickers and patches from metal bands.

Just by the look of everyone else in the dorm hall as her foreboding presence passed them by, she could tell they knew...

The Mistress of Discord had returned to wreak her bloody havoc.

Doruk let out a bit of a sigh wandering about the halls of the dorm rooms that were around. On the third floor it seemed. He seemed to be having quite an adventure around the area again to find the dorm room of which he belonged to or at least the one that he was supposed to be using at the academy. He had been constantly getting lost on these adventures actually, seeing as he was constantly out and about to help and volunteer for helping others and other locations that were nearby! Speaking of which, now was no different actually. He had recently returned from doing some work elsewhere.

It was just some garden work from the neighbors back home or at least that was the more simple way to put it. The work itself had fatigued him somewhat as it had consisted in helping cut down a tall tree that was in the lawn. Apparently it had been rotting on the inside and was attracted some insects of some sort into its hollowing trunk. He rather not know which insects, might have bothered him a little. Although the work itself had oddly been quite a satisfying feat, perhaps it was the actual chopping into it or watching the tree (safely) topple over. Some dirt was still clearly upon his shoes and lower parts of his pants for having helped removed the roots afterwards as well. Some cold sweat may have been visible on the back of his neck as well.

Someone had been walking down the halls. He believed her name to have been Evelyn or everly, or was it Beverly? Best to go with the first. He should really do his best to remember certain things better such as names, and dorm room numbers. He waved happily to her and chuckled. “Yo!” He said to the person approaching.

"I would be yes why do you ask?" Yuuki said as he looked away from his phone to the girl that was questioning him. It wasnt the first time he heard that question nor would it be the last as far as he was concerned. Things are never normal at this school that's what he gathered from the deans eccentric behavior and appearance to the school itself everything screamed eccentric if you looked hard enough. First of all the school was a boarding school while normal for most high end schools. This one was different it took up half a city practically which was a bit over the top but bearable. Secondly as if to add to the "vibe" of the school he noticed a few odd things one despite how over the top the building was there was literally abandoned dormitory set and observatory. Beyond that the school itself had statues based after giant chess pieces each set up like a actual chess board. while they were stationed quite a bit from each piece the fact remained if you got a map and pointed each statue it would form a chess game.

"I've seen your face in the business times," she answered matter-of-factly, a light smile settling on her face. "I've also done a few deliveries for some of the Sanada Group's local branches, so it's best to be friendly with the employers, right?"

Now that Yuuki Sanada was facing her directly, the redhead took some time to observe the teenaged boy's appearance. The greyish-blue hair was incredibly distinct, hence her rapid identification of him as the heir to the multi-million dollar business enterprise. In fact, his very appearance actually screamed distinctiveness; she could have easily picked him out in even the busiest of crowds. Her gaze lingered on his face for a second, noting the high cheekbones and well-defined features. He was objectively a pretty boy. Somebody who others would agree to be 'cute'.

The dead eyes, however, did ruin that vibe a bit.

It didn't really matter to her; she had no intentions of any form of romantic pursuit for the time being. Elisa had a lot of other things to deal with, and a relationship would simply be far too much of a time and effort sink to be remotely useful to her.
