Otis is about as laid back as it gets. He often falls asleep in his classes and let's just say the last time he handed in homework, Caeser was still in power. Nevertheless, he will make an effort on certain things, specifically things relating to his mother or his friends. If a friend is in need, you can bet on, Otis to be there to lend a helping hand, whether it be in the form of manual labour or even his own money. One would expect, Otis to be rather stoic due to his laziness, however he is quite the opposite. Otis is almost always optimistic about everything.
However, with his optimism comes a more negative trait of his. He is confident, but to the point of stupidity. If you tried to sell him a stick of gum, and told him it was a new energy bar, then you can consider yourself one sale up. He almost never turns down anything and can often find himself in numerous bad situations because of this. Along with this, he believes himself to be much worse than he is in most areas. While some may call this modest, Otis' view of himself extends far beyond that. He is convinced that he is, in fact, an idiot, no matter what people tell him.

History:
Otis was born in Louisiana, to a loving mother and a father who walked out on the family the minute, Otis was born. He grew up poor, his mother worked at a local pawn shop which earned her barely enough money to see herself through the month, let alone herself and her son. Nevertheless, he considers his early life to be the best part of his life. It was filled with fun and adventure, instead of being cooped up inside playing video games and watching TV, Otis had to resort to making his own fun. He would often go out and catch bugs, or ride his bike around the forest back trails. But the one thing that really made a difference in his life was when he learned how to play the guitar.
After, Otis' grandmother died, his grandfather had begun living with, Otis and his mother. With him he brought his guitar and began teaching, Otis how to play. Otis was a natural with the guitar and his grandfather was a major part in the formation of his music style. He practically forced, Otis to listen to musicians like Johnny Cash and Ray Charles. This was where his nickname came from. Otis always hated his birth name and began referring to himself as, Otis after listening to a certain singer by the same name.
Life continued as normal and, Otis was quite content with his humble life up until he turned 14 or so. This was when his mother met the man who was soon to be, Otis' step father. They met at her place of work and, as it turned out, he had taken a liking to her. He was some businessman from up north who was visiting Louisiana on a business trip. The two kept in regular contact and he often travelled down to meet her whenever he could.
As much as Otis tried to like him for his mothers sake, he just couldn't. There was something about the way he carried himself that just ticked, Otis off. Nevertheless, he was happy when the two decided to get married, although he was less happy when he found out he would have to move up north to accommodate for his new step-father's job. He hated it up north. Everyone was so well-spoken and well-dressed it just made him feel out of place. It didn't help that people kept commenting on his accent to the point where it just became a chore to speak to those people.
Life was rather depressing for Otis at that point. But that was before he met his group of friends and before the birth of his sister. His sister was born in the same year that they moved up north, and brightened up, Otis' life a hell of a lot. It was also the reason that he became more laid back than he did lazy. He had to make the extra effort for his little sister.
It's been a few years since his sister's birth, and he has not became any less laid back. He has no idea what he wants to do with his life and keeps living life in the moment.

A walking ticking bomb, Ely keeps a lot bottled up and acts like she has no care in the world. Even with her close friends around, she’s unable to express her honest feelings to them. Her anger fits are usually always a big scene, even if she doesn’t mean to draw attention. She's failing math and gym. Math because she's just really bad at it and gym because her attendance is poor and when she is there, she doesn't get along with everyone else. Her gym teacher has suggested for her to get counseling, being very aware of her loss, but she refuses to go. High school is a drag and almost all of the entire student body calls her an attention whore.
Ely is too stubborn to express that she may need help from her friends in more ways than one. Though the negative may outweigh the good, she is fun to be around with and a friend who cares, regardless of her inability to say "I love you". Known for giving the most memorable experiences for her friends, good or bad, Ely’s creativity to have a good time never fails them. Even if she can’t run to them for herself, she’ll drop everything she’s doing to be with them. History:
Long story short, Ely has overbearing parents that can push any child over the edge. They believe in idealism and hold her up to the highest of expectations. When she was a little girl, her mother tried to mold her into a socialite. Someone who impresses the masses, for compliments and prestige. She could never escape her appearance. Her duty, as the daughter of a run of the mill lawyer and a housewife, was to be a sophisticated lady that'll make her parents look good. Her father wanted her to be an intellectual like him. While her mother wanted her to be a respectful woman, who would find a rich man and get married to him.
The thing about her parents was they didn’t bother to notice she was a visionary and loved to create outfits. When she did bring up wanting to have her own boutique, they would ignore her completely. Her mother never believed her daughter had a chance because of the way Ely chose to "express herself" (Ie. Her attitude and her attire). They hated how she dressed nowadays and were embarrassed to even lay their eyes on her. Saying things like, “If you keep acting like that, you’re going to end up like your brother.” When Ely reached of age, she took a waitress job because god knows, her parents couldn't support her fashion needs.
Anyways, Ely believed her parents to be mediocre at best and heartless bastards. She had very little to her name and her parents were trying to force their ambitions on her. The only reason why school was worth going to was because of her friends. One day, she would get out of this hell hole. Her older brother, always one year ahead of her, was her reason to pursue her dreams. He was so kind and constantly encouraging her to "follow her dreams". Yet, out of the both of them, he seemed to be the more promising of the two. He would of been able to go to Princeton or Yale... or any Ivy League for that matter. He was a genius by birth. Unfortunately, his intelligence came with a price. His classmates were jealous of him and knew he wanted to fit in...
A year ago, her brother overdosed on heroin. He hit his breaking point not only because of his parents but because of his Heroin addiction. Fucking assholes introduced that shit to him when he was a sophomore. He hated his life, so... he left her. She didn't have her brother, her best friend, anymore. He wasn't here to take on this world with her. She felt so alone. She tried to help him when he was getting bullied, she tried to help him with his addiction, but… she was too late. Brandon had already decided to leave this world. He had already decided to leave her.
“Who wants another shot?!” This was her senior year! She was going to enjoy it to the fullest and of course, numb her pain, with a good smoke, ecstasy, and booze!

History:
Cara was born in Minnesota to her parents, Elyse and John. Her mom is a real estate agent and her dad is a buisness man. Her dad was never around and she grew up pretty much without him. Her mom was at work almost all day and she spent most of the time with her older brother, James. James is seven years older then Cara and picked on her alot. It turned violent when she was about six. Cara decided to take up boxing and has been in love with it since.
Her uncle, Louis, starting spending more and more time with her. He was really into horses and riding. By the time she was nine, she had earned to state championships and one city championship and had picked up a new hobby. When she was thirteen, her dad had suffered a stroke and passed away a couple of days later. The sudden shock made Cara lose herself. She didn't do anything until a teacher got her into dance. She slowly started to heal.
Now going on 16, Cara dances, rides horses on a ranch a couple of hours away and boxes. Her brother moved out, so it is just her and her mom. Cara is out to learn new things!
