Doomborg had just completed construction of an underground hidden base on Planet Orre, outfitted with similar defenses he had established at Mt.Coronet. He decided to bring in just a few fire types underneath to keep at least two of the rooms warm and comfortable for the telepaths and the technicions. Doomborg and Taichi made their way towards the now set-up moniters for the base/command center. "Excellent Taichi!" Doomborg exclaimed. "Now that phase one of the plan is complete, now we can begin phase two." He decided to bring Azelf, Uxie, Mespirt, Giratina, and Zoroark to the base to discuss the plan. Doomborg then spoke "I have summoned each of you here to fulfill certain roles for this operation to run smoothly and effeciently. In order for the machine to function, all of the cogs must be in working order.

Azelf! Uxie! Mespirt! You will be in charge of the Psychic division. Your job is to collect all the data you recieve from the other divisions and compile them here for our technicions and tech-savvy hackers and decoders to review. The goal is to find the coordinates of a noteworthy communications relay.

Giratina! You will be in charge of the ghost/incorporeal/wall phasers division. Your goal is to sneak aboard enemy ships, locate and map new worlds and Universes under RoC occupation. You will then relay this information to the Psychic division, who will in turn give it to Infiltrator division.

Zoroark! You will be in charge of the Infiltrator division. Your job is to diguise yourselves into whatever occupations you can pass off as and infiltrate military bases and compounds. Your priority is to listen and find information pertaining to the location of any noteworthy communications relays you can find, but any other information you find will be helpful. I will be in command of, defending and maintaining this base as our temporary base of operations.

If anyone has any objections, concerns questions or comments before we begin, let them be known now."

There was nothing.

Thinking the silence means no objections, Doomborg continued "Good. Last thing I want to say, Taichi will be overseering your actions outside of this base. I don
t think anything else need be said except good luck and may the Gods watch over us all. Your mission begins now. You are all dismissed."

The Pokemon dispersed, ready to begin their jobs.

Doomborg headed towards his General chair, watching the moniters. From now on, he would be ever vigilant, never moving from his position unless the situation calls for it, unflinching, like a gargoyle guardian, everwatching.

(Got bored. Started typing.)

As this Flame Knight was being carried away by a couple of 6-winged angels, a third angel, also bearing so many wings appears in the air ahead of them. He has a youthful face, light blue eyes, and long, pristine white hair. He is clad in white and gold armor, which white wings, no bloodstains, and has a sword untouched at his side. He emminates a gentle, warm brilliance that seems to lighten up his zone in the sky.

Clearly this "angel" isn't one the others recognize, yet he doesn't seem hostile. Without a word, hovering in place, he lifts a hand, palm outward toward the severely injured knight and heals him. Surely, the angels react defensively, yet Eclipse merely smiles and begins to descend.

The white demigod lands on the ground below, not far from Optimus Prime, as if to address him. Eclipse stands up and stares at the large, mechanical life form with some scrutiny over his weapon. "Greetings!" The white-haired being finally exclaims with no fear whatsoever. "I am Eclipse."

Being semi-divine, and insightful, Eclipse could tell that both the knight and the transformer before him were beings of order. Optimus rang of patience and mercy. Perhaps he could be reasoned with.

With the situation neutralized, Optimus would be freed to focus on more pressing matters. Notably, the battle his allies were currently fighting. However, he didn't get more than a couple steps before some other being addressed him. Seeing as how it didn't want to fight, he deactivated his blasters. Though he was far from defenseless, it would at least show he wasn't hostile to an apparently neutral party. Not to saw he wasn't on guard. He could easily react should hostilities begin.

"I am Optimus Prime." he returned the beings greeting. Though he would sound terse, it was not without reason. He did have a battle to fight, and there was little time for distractions. He did, however, have to admit that this being before him seemed to admit a peaceful aura. To further this case, he had witnessed the being heal his previous opponent, although that could also advocate for it being a threat as well.

After their captain had been healed by the unknown angel, the two six-wings' jaws dropped in response, their sight and senses having felt that the magic Eclipse had projected hadn't a single spark of malice or harm in it; while the more senior of the trio, having sensed the magical presence of the Angel zoomed towards the newcomer to see if he was another nasty surprise of the resistance's come to further ruin their already terrible day came to a stop at also having felt the healing magic, causing him to stare at Eclipse for some time to see if he truly did not mean any harm before coming to a decision and crossing his right arm over his chest, giving the celestial being a respectful bow before he continues on escorting his squadmates back to friendly lines, having seen and done enough killing for one day.

Kokonoe

"This is Roy Mustang, activate personal emergency beacon. Authorisation code Richard-1-7-Alpha-Kilo-3-Mustang. I need emergency evac."

Roys voice crackled over the standard electric radio. At this point Kokonoe was fuming. She just contacted him through her superior network, and then he ignores her only to send back a rescue signal over the old fashioned network. She would need to tear him a few new scars when this was over.

"Darn it Roy. I just told you don't get yourself killed! Listen, I'm setting up a teleport. You'll be out of there soon."

Within a matter of a few secones Roy would find himself in Kokonoes lab. It wouldn't be a comfortable place, but it was near the medical bay. He could get help there. Though, oddly, he would notice Kokonoe was nowhere to be seen. Where could she have gone?

Of course, to kokonoe the answer was simple. She hadn't been in the field for a while, so what better time then now. The people that Roy were fighting would find that rather then the beaten up Roy, Kokonoe now stood before them. Catnip pop hanging from her mouth, and a game in her hand.

"Mmf. Let me pause this really quick."

Kokonoes appearance would no doubt be a bit of a surprise to the people. Especially how nonchalant she was about being in the middle of a battlefield. Not that that mattered to Kokonoe. She turned to the one with a bluish circle around him. He was giving off some pretty strong readings. Though the girl that was fighting him was no slouch. Of course, Kokonoe would need to get their attention. She didn't need to start on one, only to get struck by the other. As such, Kokonoe would cough rather loudly. Of course, they wouldn't hear her over the sounds of the battle. So she would instead shoot a fireball between the two.

"Hey! Which one of you two was beating on Roy. I'd like to know who I'm sinking my claws into"

Terumi

Terumi would be sent flying by the powerful attack, through the wall, and into a nearby bathroom. The chickens would stop attacking him as soon as he left the area, so they wouldn't need to worry about that.

The attack, while strong and had sent him flying, wouldn't physically effect him all that much. It still hurt though, and his attacks didn't seem to be doing all that much to this girl. Whoever she was. It seems it was time to start on a new strategy.

Before she managed to get in, Terumi would quickly teleport his hat back to himself. He wouldn't get up, even though he could. Rather, he would let her come to him. When she got close, he would quickly throw himself on her mercy.

"Oh, please no more! I'm truly not a fighter. Just a simple intelligence officer. Listen, I give up, just. Just no more!"

It would be a surprising change, but Hazama knew what he was doing. Hopefully the girl would take the bait and take him in. From there, he would figure something out.

Eclipse stepped forth, determined and direct. "Optimus Prime. I descend from the heavens to find a battlefield below me. Such a thing is a shame and a tragedy. I, Eclipse, god of both justice and mercy, law and love, peace and honor, protector of the innocent, and redeemer of fallen souls will not stand idly by as a mere witness. Take me to your commander, for would ask him why logic and reason have failed these beings. It is I who will answer the prayers of those who seek an end to this bloodshed."

So it was a divinity of some kind that had joined the scene, and a noble one. Eclipse didn't have the power to spontaneously alter reality, but he was here with intent. Was he really capable of what he claimed?

Now convinced that he was either cursed or the universe is punishing him for his arrogance, the Mage-Knight instinctively dodges the incoming fireball; the knight's fear and uncertainty having fooled him into wasting his energy evading an attack that would have otherwise been safely deflected by his passive barriers and heavy armor. Now taking note of having to fight two fresh opponents, both of which he hasn't the slightest clue of regarding their capabilities and how they fight while he was running low on both mana and stamina from all the combat and running around, the knight, with great reluctance, a tightening chest and the bitterness of defeat making his eyes sting; prepares to retreat in the face of adversity, having decided that there will always be a next time... That is if he manages to escape them.

"Th-This isn't over just yet! You honorless rebel curs will rue the day you have spat upon the honor of Pieter Vahsel!"

Backpedaling away from Red and quickly holding his sword above his head with both hands, Kokonoe and Red can clearly see that the Knight was preparing for some sort of massive desperation attack from the fact that the blade was beginning to shine with a blinding bluish-white light.

"SOLAR FLARE!"

Smashing his blade into the ground, the act heralded a flash of light with radiance comparable to a star, yet there was no gust of wind that heralded a destructive wave of concussive force coming right at them with the violence of the Tsunami or thermal radiation hot enough to flash-boil eyeballs and skin... But just the light.

"SOLAR FLARE!"

The knight would attempt to do some sort of attempt. His mistake however, was in calling his attack. If he had time to shout out the attack, Kokonoe had time to stop him. Before his blade would hit the ground, Kokonoe would hit, and possibly the knight as well with a giant flaming drill hammer swung in an uppercut.

The attack of the knight would be stopped, that was certain. However hitting the knight was not entirely certain. Though very likely, considering he was busy screaming the names of his attacks. Though if she caught the knight, he would be knocked into the air, before being slammed back into the ground by another swing of the drill hammer. If she managed to do this, the hammer would disappear, and in its place would be some sort of claw that she would use to further attack him, before she would pull out her giant wrench and begin smashing him into the ground with it.

The hammerstrike does indeed fail to connect, not because of the knight having attempted to dodge the strike; but because his magical barrier dampens the blow to the point that it glances off his heavy armor yet it still packed enough momentum to rend a gash across his breastplate, causing him to be slightly sent aback from both the force of the attack and shock, but otherwise completely neutralized her attempt at spoiling his "attack". Instead of smashing into the ground as intended, he simply unleashes his magical technique right at the Cat's face; flashing her with an unbelievably bright and intense light from his sword.

Depending on how quickly the two would recover their sight, they'd notice that the Knight was either long gone or fleeing towards the RoC headquarters; having ran quite a long distance in such a short time for someone wearing so much armor.

Yzeira Yezia

Eldritch IV - Mess Hall

@Lmpkio@Archmage MC

Trying to deceive his other senses now? Regrettably ineffective, as it would soon would become obvious to the resistance members surrounding Yzeira. As the spike formed to strike Bayonetta, a flurry of feathers approached Yzeira from behind- Only to be evaporated in a small explosion that spread out from one of his remaining orbs behind him as they neared. But more concerned with Kid Flash, who's approach sent a shock down his neck, similar to those that came from Bayonetta's guns. Regardless, he'd been keeping a close eye on that brat, making his approach less concerning than it might have been if his attention was swayed elsewhere. Yzeira shifted his foot ever so slightly against the ground, triggering the dormant energy that he'd stored in the ground nearby to rupture upwards, tearing apart the ground as it sent a several foot-high shock wave towards Wally as his foot met the back of Yzeira's knee, which he bent forwards and slipped to the left, not fast enough to completely avoid damage, but quick enough to avoid having his bones completely shattered. The impact sent the RoC member spinning around on his left foot to face Kid flash, just as a wave of chaotic energy separated them. As this happened, he coated his left forearm with thick layer of energy, and lowered it to his side, guarding his body preemptively as Flash let lose with a few sonic-speed punches. If they'd landed, there would be a significant amount of pain in the boy's future, assuming her survived. Yzeira on the other hand would suffer a broken arm, in the very worst case scenario.

Roy Mustang had hoped for nothing less when he was teleported away from the battlefield by the Resistance Capital Ship, glad that his distress call had gone through. However his hopes were quickly dashed as he realised that he might have been better off fighting the Mage-Knight. As the hum of the teleport ended, Roy quickly came to realise, in his fading understanding, that this was not the Med-Bay as he had hoped. No, this was a place that would, yes it would save him, but it would come with many consequences for him. This was Kokonoe's lab, which, fortunately wasn't far from the Med-Bay if he remembered the layout of the Capital Ship correctly. It also wouldn't be hard to get there, possibly even reach the Med-Bay before bleeding out, and before Kokonoe realised that he was gone. As he staggered to his feet as his vision dimmed further, he began shuffling toward the door. But as he reached it, much to his dismay, it was locked. And so he could do little more than pound on the door with ever decreasing vigour as his strength was sapped by the severity of his wounds, hoping that someone would rescue him before Kokonoe's return.

Resistance fleets clashed with the RoC in space even as the battle raged on the grounds below. Massive hulks of steel were blasted out of the sky by torrents of light, burning up in the atmosphere as they accelerate towards the ground. Below the clouds, an antimatter drive core containment field failed, and one of the plummeting fireballs exploded in a flash of light that turned the clouds red for a moment. The entire scene was highly reminiscent of his home universe, and yet Set knew that this was not his home. This was a battle whom's stakes were far beyond what he had previously imagined, a war whom's scale baffled even him. It was a battle with the fate of not just the galaxy, but the multiverse, at stake. It was the kind of war that even he had not seen in his many lives. The thought of it tingled, as he could feel his blood getting excited. That old curiosity burned anew, as if he were merely 200 again. Of all the games that he had played, this had the potential to be both the most risky and the most rewarding. And it was that feeling of risk in his gut that kept him excited, that had roused him from the daze of centuries.

"Bring me another cup of wine." He observed the scene from far away, a stealth carrier placed at the edge of the vast battlefield. Many miles from the RoC base that formed the epicentre of the storm of war. As he lazily reached out his hand, a cup of red wine was placed in it. A carefully made delicacy, the exquisite taste of which was reserved only for the richest of the galaxy's denizens. Of course, such status meant little compared to the conflict below him. But it comforted him to know that soon he would have his fingers on riches a million times greater than he had ever imagined in the past. This new world was a treasure trove for one with the cunning to exploit it. And his cunning was unmatched in the entire galaxy.

Set took a sip of wine, allowing the delicate substance to move across his tongue. He had grown bored of the taste of a thousand brews, and yet this strange substance still fascinated him. A thousand different tastes danced across his tongue, teasing his taste buds with the bitter and sweet flavour. As he enjoyed this cup of wine, he saw a wave move across the skies of Eldritch IV. Covering fire rained down curtains of plasma bolts, forcing enemy ships to focus on their shields if even for a moment. Portals were opened, massive swirling pools of energy that he could feel even from here. Hundreds of ships disappeared, vanishing into nothingness as the Resistance found a large part of it's opposition vanishing into nothingness for reasons far beyond them. On the ground, entire platoons of soldiers retreated into escape pods, which joined their spaceborn allies as they retreated from this world. No, this universe. A mass disappearance as an entire faction abandoned the fight, massively weakening the RoC defences.

It was a simple matter, feeding the Rebels a critical piece of information. They were convinced that it was theirs, and the Empire was convinced it was a trap they had set. Both were completely confident in their capabilities, both merely played into his hands. But the result was clear, as all troops were immediately recalled to the Death Star. He didn't know if the rebels would succeed at destroying it, in fact he suspected that they would be annihilated. But his business was not to ruin the Empire, no matter how the rebellion amused him. No, he had merely played his hand to ensure that Palpatine's support of the RoC would be pulled back in this critical phase. After all, the Emperor would always value the destruction of the Rebels far above some far-away victory in another Universe.

Attempting to suppress a smug grin, Set gestured at his 'butler'. "Open communications with the Reign of Chaos. We're a mercenary organization that was attracted to the sight of war. Inform them that we would gladly assist them in their current predicament, if the pay is good enough." In truth, Set had no interest in the RoC's money. But he knew that the RoC similarly cared not for money, or at the very least cared far more for the integrity of this base. He would place his foot in the door, and establish them as a valuable contact. This was how it all began, the game of politics and war that he had played for so long. The stakes had been set, the sides were undecided, and the lives of good men had already been lost. This was his kind of game.

Richard and his honor guard made their way across the desert in a wide half-circle around the main thrust of the fighting, the same route that Ovid and Grand had taken to get to reach him, to get back behind their own lines and hook up with the unit that his two would be rescuers had left to come save his bacon. With the explosions that continued to rock the air you'd think there would be some tension in the air, but Richard actually found it very relaxing.

He was riding up on one of the Zakus shoulders. Ovid had insisted that it would be faster this way with their robots longer strides and Richard was no stranger to being carried into battle. In the meantime and amused himself watching the fighting through the scope of his gun. It wasn't a great view. It was nothing compared to the panorama you got from above. He could hardly see the sides through the dust, least of all what he assumed was the main event still presumable happening near the enemy dropships.

He would have had to be blind, however, to miss something like a mass retreat.

It started when he heard the air battle suddenly intensify, then just as suddenly die down again. Then he started seeing the ground troops start behaving...oddly. It was hard to notice, but the density of fire coming from their side noticeably decreased. Then he saw the pods shooting up into the air and the lines he could see started collapsing.

Then he got deadly confirmation from Ovid. "Sir, I'm hearing a lot of chatter! The men are confused, but from what it sounds like the Imperials just cut and run." He said, his voice stained with sudden stress.

This was bad. The Imperials fought together, so if they were retreating then there were now huge rips in their defense. He could picture the resistance rushing through, pouring around the sides and sweeping their lines aside like a wave. The Reign troops obviously didn't know what was happening. Was this a full retreat? If not, is anyone else running? Should we try and stop them? Why are they doing this? Why aren't we the ones running? Is this part of the plan? Some thought or another like this was now swirling in the head of all but the most zealous of Reign fighters, combined with the natural urge to run when you see another man running.

This was all the makings of a rout. He'd read enough military history to know that routs were when the killing happened. He'd personally seen enough military history to know that.

He wasn't able to linger on the thought for long, because Grand shouted "Incoming!" and three fighters streaked over their heads in a strafing run. Richard jumped off his perch, hiding behind his comrades as their sturdy armor was peppered with fire. Richard watched as they vanished off toward the base along with several other squadrons he could see. They were using the weakened air support as an opportunity to attack the fortress itself, the explosions that peppered the artillery and anti-air batteries was testament to that.

Then fire started coming from another direction, drawing Richards attention back to the ground. In just the time it had taken him to look up the Reign troops near them had been overrun, and now a detachment of Resistance was making it's way toward them. He swung around and raised his rifle. The rest of his weapons clattered to the ground next to him as the Zakus turned to bring up their own guns.

If something wasn't done about this then Reign resistance would break completely. Then it would be every man fir himself.

Osamu, once his job was done, slept for eight hours, before waking up with a start, changing clothes, and, clearly in an irritated mood, called Naoki, asking for permission to finally contact...them. He got it, but with a warning to be cautious.

With said permission metaphorically in hand, Osamu the Second, Osamu Akiyama, went to the teleportaion room, set the coordinates to 'Tatooine', and vanished.

------

Horus, Osamu II's Demon partner and boon companion, was a golden hawk that glowed with the power of the Sun, who was as large as a normal human. Flying beside Osamu II, he asked, his magic allowing him to speak the human language:

"Why did we come here, again?" Here being the middle of the city of Mos Espa.

"Because to succeed, we have to do some underhanded dealings, and this is the best place to have them." There was still a note of irritation in Osamu's voice as the 18-year old boy looked around, looking for a contact he had been trying to, well, contact since before Minato Arisato's ressurection...

The pair was approached by the smiling figure of Dagon Rane. He had a calming aura, as if his mere presence made the strange alien bar just a little more friendly. Sitting down at a table near the edge of the canteen, the ambassador of the mysterious organization Osamu had come to meet gestured for the pair to join him. A second gesture in the direction of the bar seemed to produce a pair of drinks. No coins changed hands, the waiter here knew well enough to put it on Dagon's credit. This wouldn't be the first time he did business in the cafe, and it wouldn't be the last.

Still with that calm, expectant smile on his face, Dagon waited for the two to join him before speaking. "So, you must be the representative of the... Mon Alliance?" He spoke the name slowly, as if he found it mildly amusing. "I'm glad you were able to join me here. Please, have a drink on the house. It's the finest wine this place serves, although in my personal opinion wine is too refined a word for it...."

Osamu smiled, and spoke:

"I'm normally a teetotaler, but, well, I suppose alcohol is more sanitary than water in this place," he then took small, careful sips, before continuing:

"Yes, I am the Mon Alliance representative, although I come here in an...under-the-table capacity. You see, there's something we need done under-the-table." The Demon Summoner then waited for a response.

Dagon nodded at the first remark. "And cheaper, as well." He then turned to more serious matters. "I mean no offence, but you really do need assistance. Had I wished you dead, you would have died thrice over already. If you want to become involved with... under-the-table dealings, caution will be your greatest ally." Dagon spoke in a sagely tone of voice, as if he were teaching a schoolchild arithmetics. "Regardless, I represent the interests of a group of people most familiar with these dealings. And my people are rather skilled at getting things done, for a price. So let's talk business, shall we? What is the dirty work of the Mon Alliance?"

As he spoke, he placed a small device on the table, and shifted it forward. It was a metal yoke of some sort, covered in small carved insignias. A small tingle would go up Osamu's spine as the device activated, and instantly the pair seemed to perfectly blend in with the crowd. It was clear that not a word they said would leave this table. To any outsider, the strange people would be simply another group of foreigners having dinner. Not that it was customary to look at other tables in a place frequented by such shady individuals.

Osamu chuckled as he touched the yoke.

"My primary work is as a scientist and sorcerer; neither of which are strictly conductive to stealth. As for the dirty work?" A small flash of anger appeared in Osamu's eyes, but said anger was directed at no one here.

"Tell me, have you heard of the Licht Gruppe?"

"A fanatical group of warriors, loyal to the RoC. Zealouts, by all accounts." Of course, Dagon had never met with the Licht Gruppe in person. But the small army had made quite a reputation for itself throughout the multiverse, and the Harth Collective specialized in acquiring information.

"I want them kept away from me and my faction's business," Osamu said, the resentment growing. "I don't care what methods you use; kill them, distract them, subvert them, just keep them away from me." A shudder of revulsion, but not at his request.

"Wait, make sure that no civilians get killed; that's the only amendment I'll make. Keep them away from me without killing a civilian. In exchange, well...what would you want?"

"Ah, price. That is the most important part of our discussion." Dagon grinned, and a hint of greed could be seen in his expression. Just for a moment, before that friendly mask once more set over his face. While he might not be the avid collector his master was, he had inherited some semblance of his greed. "You possess devices capable of interacting with what you refer to as the Digital World. Digivices, are they not? In addition, you possess matter-energy transfer technology in the form of Pokeballs. Both of these objects represent a technology practically unique in the Multiverse, and things of such rarity can be sold for exorbitant amounts if you have the right contacts."

Of course, this was a lie. The devices would never see outside hands, most likely, and they would be added to Set's massive collection. But people were more relaxed when they thought you were after money. So that's what Dagon said. "In exchange for a shipment of these items, we can achieve any task you wish. If you wish for the Licht Gruppe to fall.... well, you will never have to lay eyes on them again." Dagon chuckled to himself, before giving Osamu a final smile. "Do we have a deal?"

Osamu smiled.

"I know where I can get you a Digivice and some Pokeballs," spoke the 18-year old. I'm just glad you didn't go after a Demon Summoning Program.

"So, yes, a deal; I'll send you what you want in a few hours."

In truth, Dagon had never heard of this program. But he'd retrieve it, in time. All objects of value would end up in his master's vault. "Glad to do business with you."

"Glad to do business with you, too," Osamu was sincere. "So, is the meeting over?"

"Indeed." Dagon picked up the Yoke of Seeming, and stood. Once more, they were perceptible to the rest of the world. With nothing more than a nod, he turned and left, confident the devices would be delivered to the previously agreed location. He was equally confident that this event would spell the end of the Licht Gruppe.

Osamu left as well; back to where he can teleport back to Mt. Coronet. There, he would scrupulously keep his promise, sending a Type-1 Digivice and a basic Pokeball to the agreed location...

Things were more or less the same, at least for a combat situation. Elementals were punching soldiers, chickens were pecking at everything in confusion except their summoner, Bayonetta was running around, Kid flash was... on the ground? Well, that couldn't do! The only problem was the guy right next to Kid Flash, blocking MC from healing him. Of course MC was here to rescue Kid Flash and got caught up in the jist of combat, and now that no one was shooting at him and he was standing still, MC could conjure a Portal under him, causing Kid Flash to appear in the dropship they started in, the one still surrounded by some healing mines that hadn't gone off yet. MC then closed the portal he made before someone could follow Kid Flash back to the backlines of the Resistance, and well... having a portal closed halfway through travel could cause some... bad things to happen if anyone even tried to follow him.

"So... Jenny, Bayonetta, do what you need to do and I can open up another portal for you to get away in. Honestly I don't see this skirmish going anywhere so I'm sorta just ready to level this base. MC said to his comrades, recasting his shields and following up with Invisibility.

The Umbra Witch begins to speed towards the bridge of the Chaos' base, wasting no time with her previous opponent. He may be an important Executive to take hold on, but this was just not her mission at this time. Shinnok was the grand prize, and she knew she was already getting close. If she can capture the Elder God, they can get a good deal of information out of him. Perhaps they can find the hidden location of their base... which will end the war much faster. As she heads towards the room, she suddenly gets a group transmission coming from MC.

"So... Jenny, Bayonetta, do what you need to do and I can open up another portal for you to get away in. Honestly I don't see this skirmish going anywhere so I'm sorta just ready to level this base."

"Thank you MC." Bayonetta replies, "Open a portal for me on my signal. I'll ask one after I nab the Elder God."

And with that, she begins to approach the door leading to the control room.

And so, the base begins to finally crumble down. It was quite impressive how the Resistance was in destroying the base, especially coming from an Elder God like himself. He knows he must leave, but instead sits quietly on his throne, even as the base begins to fall apart around him. Debris begin to fall to the floor, breaking tables, electronics, and everything else, yet not a single piece harmed Shinnok. Perhaps it will soon be time for him to retreat, either way, the transports ships are already ready to depart as soon everyone was on.

"Ridley." he notifies him, "I'm afraid the battle has already lost. Get to the portal room and call off the rest of the forces. It's time for us to leave."

"Calling off the party so soon?" a sudden female British voice echoes through the room.

The Elder God continues sitting down as if he didn't hear Bayonetta's arrival. He then chuckles slightly as he gets up and slowly turns to her.

"Your too late Bayonetta." he calmly replies, "You may've destroyed this base of operations, but you will never catch me, no matter how hard you try."

"Oh I'll catch you like a lost pet." she answers back with a smug grin, "And then I'll give you a good spanking for being the naughty Elder God you are."

"Charming." sarcastically replies the Elder God, "But pointless."

Just then, Bayonetta decided to run up and throw a kick at him, only to fake out and reappear behind him. However, the Elder God simply grabbed her leg with one hand as it tries to hit his shoulder. Just then, he throws the Umbra Witch back into some rubble and simply sighs.

"Tsk tsk tsk," he ticks to the witch, "I'm not one of those... Angels of Paradiso you usually fight. Not even their gods can compare to who I really am. For your talking to an Elder God... the great Lord Shinnok! And I will not be captured or beaten by your dirty little hands again."

Bayonetta quickly gets back on her feet, wanting to try again as she fires several bullets, only to have them stopped by the power of Shinnok's Amulet. Next thing the witch knew, she was simply captured by a giant bony hand, which kept her as a hostage.

"My dear I would love to stay more and keep you company," Shinnok says, "But my schedule says otherwise. By the way, this base is also secretly connected to the planet's core. Once I leave, this base will self-destruct, with you and everyone else on this planet being vanquished from the multiverse. Till we meet again Bayonetta... Till we meet again in the Netherrealm."

And with that, he teleports out of the room... and the timer begins to tick, and the alarms blaring wildly from within the base.

*ALERT* *ALERT* *SELF-DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED. PLANET CATASTROPHE IN T-MINUS TEN MINUTES*

The witch struggles to get herself free, until she finally mustered all of her strength to break through the hard bone. Shinnok escaped and all the information with him. And on top of that... the whole planet was going to self destruct!

"Fuck!" the witch curses as she reaches to her communicator, "MC. I need that portal now! This whole planet is about to explode!"

Resistance Fleet

As the fleet began to make the RoC a run for its money, Admiral Ackbar has just found out the horrifying event going on.

"General!" he calls in a gruff voice, "Stability coming from the planet's core is becoming severely unstable! At this rate, the whole planet is going to explode in mere minutes!"

Organa's expression turned cold with fear and surprise as she looks at the data hologram onscreen.

"Oh god..." she mutters, "We need to call everyone off the planet! NOW! We need to jump our butts out of here!"

And with that, she sends out an emergency broadcast to all the Resistance transmitters from all the troops, saying that total evacuation is imminent, for the whole planet... was about to be destroyed.

*ALERT* *ALERT* *SELF-DESTRUCT SEQUENCE INITIATED. PLANET CATASTROPHE IN T-MINUS TEN MINUTES*

That priority alert flashing on his sensors seemed to kill the fighting in front of Richard. There were still shots, but they were shots fired hastily over the shoulder as the combatants beat feet. The men who had so suddenly set upon Richard were doing the same, pulling an orderly retreat. Richard considered pursuit, he had nine minutes to kill, but then lowered his weapon. No point in wasting the time.

"I don't get it." Ovid said. "If we're retreating why not just blow up the base? Is there something worth blowing up on this planet? Is this some sort of conspiracy!? What aren't they telling us!?"

"Ridly is here." Richard said.

"Oh, that explains everything." Ovid replied, instantly calming down.

"Come on boys." Richard said, fiddling with his tie again. "We'll find your squad once we get home." The he pulled on the knot sharply. The home beacon hidden in the tie flared to life, summoning up a towering pillar of blue light in front of them. "Get my guns." With that Richard walked into the light, disappearing with the sound of rapid dissolution. The two men quickly bend down, scooped up the weapons in handfuls of sand, and made their way into the light.

The pillar lingered for five more seconds, then collapsed in on itself and winked out.

MC and Light

Well things escalated quickly. From almost nothing happening besides a few dissolving soldiers to the planet exploding, bayonetta screaming for a portal. "Sure... But I REALLY wanna know how you got the planet to explode later." MC said, opening another portal as Bayonetta was speeding towards him, making sure Penny also got through before going through himself, casting Sacrifice before he went through to cause all the elementals and chickens to explode violently.

When Light got the message, she was a bit more worried. Sure some soldiers were able to teleport out, but she had to play a game of catch with herself in order to get the ones that couldn't teleport out back to a dropship. Roy was nowhere to be seen when she went over to check how he was doing, but there also wasn't a corpse so he probably teleported out, her suspicions confirmed when she asked a soldier she caught reporting seeing the teleport beacon. Light had to stop helping solders back though when the dropships started taking off, needing to jump into one herself as being flung through space at super speeds wasn't really all that fun.

Alexandria Skye

Alexandria had just gotten the message from central command telling her that the planet was about to explode! Fortunately, she was mere kilometers from the drop ships. She knew that she would be able to escape in time, but then the horrifying reality hit her... her squad was ordered by her to go back all the way back at the LZ. Even if they ran on foot, it would be impossible for them to reach the drop ships in time before the planet explodes. Realizing she very well may have sent her squad to their doom, in desperation she approached one of her superiors, the Resistance commander Optimus Prime.

"Optimus!" She yelled with panic. "Optimus! My squad! Their located a few miles south of the drop ships! They are making their way to them right now but they will never make it in time! Please Optimus, you have to save them! I'll help anyway I can!" Alexandria prayed that he could be of assistance, knowing full well the grief and heartache associated with losing a squad. However, as much as she hated to admit it, she alone was far more valuable than even a thousand soldiers due to her bio-enhancements, training and high-tech weaponry. She knew if she had to weigh her life against theirs, she would have no choice but to leave them behind. But so long as she had time and control, she would do everything in her power to save them.
