Depending on how the stuff goes with Vellios, I doubt the Turian will be removing himself from his room for a while. He's still pretty frustrated and angry that Serena got hurt. In addition, while Tanya and him came to a fragile coexistence, the wounds are still fresh and stinging for at least a few days. He's not perfect after all and while he forgives, it takes a bit of time for the 'bleeding' to stop.

Don't, it was bound to happen at some point and honestly he thought she could hold her own. Vellios has also had a shitty day already between being pretty much useless most of the mission to the thing with Tanya to Serena being nearly killed. In his mind, she's his anchor to keeping sane so when it comes to Serena's safety...he's very, very picky on the method. If he had his choice, with her luck, she would actually be at his side at all times.

Merely give him time and approach the topic gradually with him in a few days ICly. At this point, the wounds are too fresh and many so a sour mood was going to happen.

They likely will be, but like with all friendships, there's bound to be some rocky moments. As I said, this state isn't permanent and will gradually fade.

Vellios is out as he's smart enough to be sulky in his ROOM. :P So, unless Drono wants to beat down Vellios' door... it's going to be hard there. About the only one he'll see is possibly is Dex, which he can likely vent some frustrations out.
