<sub>A beautiful, dirty blonde with a healthy, hourglass figure, Sky's height reaches 5’3", her hazel eyes seem to always smile, and just know in terms of weight, all her friends can easily pick her up without breaking a sweat. Her metabolism is fast and her appetite is high. Purple is her favorite color but she prefers wearing black and white. Her lips are usually always complemented with vibrant colored lipstick. She puts enough eye makeup to get her eyes to pop and her outfits are almost always accessorized with a choker. When she smiles or laughs, the cutest dimples are revealed on her cheeks and the way she carries herself is with the out most confidence. She has a standard and upper lobe piercing and on her back is a large tattoo of angel wings to symbolize the loss of her parents (she spends her vacations in foster care).

She does seem a bit "out of it" due to her insomnia and may be caught staring into space. There is a high chance when you're talking to her she's sleep deprived, but when she does find it in her to rest she's pretty good at lucid dreaming. People could relate Sky to a "hippie" but that would label her, and she wouldn't like that. She does indeed love nature, the outdoors, and all kinds of creatures! She adores water and probably could bathe all day in a lake. For the most part, she's confident but that could be because she holds a front so no one can see her weaknesses. Her heart is usually always in the right place and she likes taking care of people, very motherly when she needs to be. Even with all that, she can be a little strange... sometimes looking right passed you like she's watching a scene unfold right in front of her eyes. Some people say that Sky's on a whole other planet because of how "out of it" she comes across. Very intelligent and hardworking, though constantly struggling in Herbology and being completely bored with History, Sky strives to be the best March witch she can be (especially now since she is the last of her family name). She enjoys the occasional thrill of sneaking around and is very possessive over her fruit bat.

Now in terms of flaws, due to how absentminded Sky is, she has a tendency to walk into dangerous, unsafe situations or just trouble in general. Don't ask her how she gets herself into bad situations, she just does. It's like she's a magnet for danger. It doesn't help that she's clumsy, like her fruit bat, and when she tries to make the situation better... well, lets just say somehow, she's made it ten times worse. Even when she's trying to take care of her friends, something could go terribly wrong. Sure, she's quite smart but that doesn't mean she copes with danger well. Sky will either spaz out or cast spells irrationally. Even so, this will not stop her from enjoying a nice walk at night. Sometimes people can see her talking to herself when she's having one of her schizophrenic moments. Her biggest flaw might be her trust issues because she doesn't want to feel vulnerable to other people. The feeling of losing more people she cared about... The school seems to want to reveal her insecurities constantly with class exercises and it's unnerving.

H I S T O R Y

Coming from a line of wizards known for innovation, Sky had to live up to that. Her parents would say she was a natural witch by heart but didn't have any clue of what she was doing. Her childhood consisted of her watching her parents working and helping them test some of their inventions. There was this soup kitchen she remembered attending at one of her parents' "Little Paradise" safe havens. Something they created throughout the world to hide Witches and Wizards, who thought their life was endangered. They were good people, always trying to help.

Her father was the best darn Keeper House Good had and his advancements in Alchemy put the teacher staff in awe. Her mother was more of a bookworm and excelled in Transfiguration, Charms, and Astronomy. Their love story was something like a fairytale about star-crossed lovers. Her father being the wealthier of the two was already arranged to be married with someone else. Luckily, Grandpa March was understanding when her father begged to marry her mom. It also helped that Grandpa March adored his daughter-in-law, who gave him a true blessing: his granddaughter. Grandma March always made the best food too... things were nice back then. But life must always draw to a close. Her grandparents died before Sky became a age of being able to remember them well.

Before her first year at Salem Witches' Institute, she and her parents got in a major car accident where Sky was the only one that survived. That car accident had traumatized Skylar and her first year at school was kind of blurry. Some say a lot of how Sky is today was because of that accident. Along with the side effects of the accident, the young witch started to build a wall around her to protect her from everyone's stares and she became Smiley Skylar. Always seemingly happy.

Sky was brought under the care of a foster home. Memma Jenkins is what people called her foster mom. Menma wasn't a mean, muggle woman, she was just strict. The witch had no qualms with people that were strict, unless they stared into her soul like Professor Acantha Baladeva did... Either way, now she helps her foster mom with the kids when vacation rolls around.

Mr. Allanon March the II and Mrs. Iris March: Deceased

The most note worthy people in Sky's life were her parents but we'll start with her grandparents. Her grandfather, Allanon March the I, was a powerful wizard, who dedicated most of his life to alchemy. Her grandmother, Lavender March, on the other hand, focused her time in pharmaceutical work and her specializations were transfiguration and potions. They were very much loved and appreciated by most, muggles and wizards alike. Unfortunately, a disease took hold of her grandfather which stole him away from her family and then shortly after, her grandmother died of loneliness. Sky could barely remember their faces since she was only a child when they left this world.

Aside from the sadness, her family was strongly known for their innovation in bettering the wizardry community.

Onto Skylar's parents, Mr. Allanon March the II and Mrs. Iris March: Those two were a dynamic duo. Together, they established safe havens around the world that only magical beings would be able to find, especially after discovering that there were hunters killing wizards and witches. Little Paradises, they'd call it. Her dad loved testing his creativity, he could be seen as a borderline mad scientist. Alchemy and providing for his family was his life. With his inheritance, he had a lot more free time to further his studies. Before Skylar came into the picture, he did a lot of traveling with Iris, but ultimately returned to America. Her mother loved children and wanted to focus her time on making toys and a new and improved broomstick! One child was enough for her to have, but tinkering with toys for children everywhere - that was her calling. Both of her parents were creators but for their own reasons and they fully supported each other. Their love was beyond understanding and they tried to pass their love down to their daughter.

Literally days before her acceptance to Salem Witches' Institute, they passed away and she was hospitalized. After her recovery, she was brought to a foster care home, where Memma Jenkins, her muggle foster mom, had Sky help her take care of her establishment. Sometimes, Skylar does feel like Memma is only using her, but the young witch didn't want to believe that. Memma was nice and gave her room and shelter. That's all that really mattered. After a couple of months, she went to her first year of wizardry school.

The newest addition to her family! He is a very clumsy and silly bat that loves cuddles. He actually is the child of her father's late bat, Fable. Squeakers has a tendency making messes and crashing into things... but overall is harmless and adorable. However, if you make his Sky cry he'll bring the little fangs out!

Mary is quiet and sweet. She smiles when speaking to people, especially strangers, but if someone catches her unaware she is usually not smiling. She seems closed off, and tends to bow her head slightly. If she's particularly nervous she stutters ever so slightly. When she makes a friend though, when she had decided to trust someone, she truly trusts them. Mary doesn't question people very often, even those she hasn't decided to trust. If she's told to do something in an authoritative voice she usually does it. This causes some issues when that thing isn't a good thing. She does not talk about her life before she was eight.

H I S T O R Y

Mary was born to a backwaters hick of a mother who believed God had punished her with Mary. Mary's father was unknown to Mary, and the source of Mary's abilities seen as the worst possibility of a deal between Satan and God. Mary's mother believed she was suffering as Job had, and to free herself of the curse she must cleanse Mary. The woman's definition of cleanse grew worse as Mary's abilities grew. These abilities were never quite under control though.

Somehow word got to Mary's father, Andrew Winthrop, about her situation. How word got to him was never something he told Mary, but late in the night he took the small 8 year old from her home and freed her. It took Mary sometime before she realized she had side-along apparated.

The next few years Mary and her father learned from each other. Mary on how to trust people again, Andrew on how the simplest thing can bring joy. Mary was grossly under-educated so Andrew lost no time in catching the girl up in general education.

Andrew was ecstatic when her letter came, and was overjoyed she ended up in the same house he had been in when he attended. Since starting school at Salem Witches' Institute Mary has grown a lot. She is still a bit slow to trust people, no one knows her whole story.

After her recovery, she was brought to a foster care home, where Memma Jenkins, her muggle foster mom, had Sky help her take care of her establishment. Sometimes, Skylar does feel like Memma is only using her, but the young witch didn't want to believe that. Memma was nice and gave her room and shelter. That's all that really mattered. After a couple of months, she went to her first year of wizardry school.

<sub>There comes a lot of elegance and grace that comes with the way that Carlo presents himself. His posture is always straight. His back is never arched, which makes him seem taller than his 5’10 frame actually is. His hair is always tucked back tightly in a ponytail. Because he does that, his piercing blue eyes are shown in full view. Sometimes when he’s working out - which is often frequently - his hair can fall over his eyes, but those blue eyes of his still show. Speaking of working out, Carlo’s body has a rather athletic figure. That shouldn’t come as a surprise. As a former and talented Quidditch Beater of House Good, Carlo had to keep his body in prime condition. Though he hasn’t played Quidditch in about a year, Carlo keeps his body in peak condition. If not for his own health, then just so that he can represent himself that only a Valentine could.

Whether he is in the House Good uniform or his own style, everyone at Salem Witches’ Institute can expect Carlo to present himself as a guy like Carlo would. His shirts are always pre-ironed before he goes to bed. They are always straight, there are no wrinkles in them, and always tucked in perfectly. When he dresses himself, Carlo has to remember that he’s not only representing himself, his family, his house, but he is also representing Salem Witches’ Institute as a whole — every student is. As such, he has to make sure he looks the part. As far as his style is concerned, Carlo usually dresses in semi-formal wear. He has slacks and dress pants, button-up shirts, an assortment of sweater vests, leather dress shoes, and pretty much any kind of attire that one such as Carlo would have.

Carlo isn’t a fan of jewelry, which is why he doesn’t have his ears pierced, or any other part of his body, for that matter. However, there is one item that he treasures above everything else. It is a simple, wonderfully-crafted necklace. It is crafted from pure silver and has a single ruby imbedded into the center where it has the shape of a heart with what looks like a white-as-pearl dot in the center. It was given to him by — well, Carlo doesn’t exactly remember who did. All he knows is that, whenever he looks that the heart-shaped ruby, he gets this warm feeling as if the necklace was given to him by someone he had a close, emotional attachment to.</sub>

Not to use slang, but the way that one could describe Carlo as the best they can without making it overcomplicated would be that he has a gentleman’s swag. The charisma he shows off can lead anyone to believe what he says. That isn’t to say that he’s manipulative, but he wouldn’t say anything if someone were to blindly follow or believe him about something. His charm also goes hand in hand with his charisma since its essentially the same thing. Carlo’s charming personality puts him in a good light to the professors, especially if they catch him or those he is with in a compromising situation.

When Carlo speaks, he is able to capture the grace and beauty in anything he is reciting in front of anyone. He is able to capture the emotion within the written text he is reciting as well clearly express it in a memorable way. Adding to speaking eloquently, Carlo shows a certain grace when he’s around people that can only be described as elegant sophistication. What this means is that Carlo does not subject himself to the primal instincts of man that includes, but is not limited to : curse words, starting fights for no reason, being without manners, making noise when eating, burping and farting whenever the need comes, making inappropriate jokes. So, in the end of it all, Carlo acts with dignity and grace and his manner of speaking represent itself as such.

To say that Carlo is confident would be an understatement. Some could say that it’s more cockiness than it is just confidence. Being the son of one of the richest families in the Canadian-American Wizardry World, Carlo half-expects people to treat him a certain way or for him to get a certain reaction. This could show itself in a form of elitism or perhaps even an overconfidence that would fall over into the cockiness region. His overconfidence and almost self-entitlement shows itself dominantly when he’s vying for the attention of someone. It could be some lucky girl that stands out to him in a crowd of wonderful applicants to become his woman. He looks for those that seem different than the rest of the snobbish ones. When he spots one he likes, he goes in like a tiger - fierce and full of confidence. When he approaches them, he will use all that he could to get them to say yes. However, there have been instances where Carlo has been given the word “no” in response to his advances. That’s entirely okay with him even though he doesn’t like the word no. He simply smiles at the fact that he’s going to be able to partake in a game of persuasion - which he is awfully good at. He likes to think that the word “no” just means that he isn’t trying hard enough and a grand gesture won’t be enough; he needs to win whomever he’s trying to get the attention of so much that they couldn’t possibly stay away from him.

Coming from the background that he does, there comes a certain amount of abrasive arrogance that, while Carlo doesn’t intend to, he could come off as a bit insensitive. This is due to the fact that he perhaps doesn’t think of what he says to people that might come from a lower social class than him. Or perhaps it’s that he doesn’t think about what he says and it comes off in a snobbish way. Regardless of what it is, this is sometimes off-putting to those in the middle and lower classes of wealth.

Underneath all of that style, all of that grace, that eloquent, and that elegance, is a man wanting to find love. Underneath all of that overconfidence and nigh-cockiness is a boy who never really found himself to be accepted by his parents. Though as he might try to fool those around him - and maybe himself - Carlo never really could. He wants to find someone that would be able to look past all of those off-putting traits and do what his parents could not wholly: accept him for all that he is.

H I S T O R Y

Though never proven, rumor has it that the Valentine family is directly derived from Saint Valentine of Rome himself. It‘s true that there is a lot of mystery that surrounds the great Saint Valentine of Rome like who exactly he was and what he did for the Roman Catholic Church back in his day of living. At least, that‘s what the public has reason to believe. In actuality, he faked his death. It was rather easy considering the wonders of magic and how the muggles could be deceived by anything. Surely a simple alteration spell of his death would be enough to fool them.

After his faked death, Saint Valentine desired anonymity from the Roman Catholic Church, so he sought out help from a few contacts within the Wizardry World where he would assume a new identiy with a new face to boot. Under the name Vincent Valencio, the former Saint Valentine took to a promising land across the Atlantic that would later become what is known in the modern day as America. It was secluded and more importantly, away from those that wished to harm him. There he settled in a cottage and lived his days in peace.

If one was to trace his life down through that funny thing we call time, it would reveal that sometime after he settled and in the year of 2014, he had a family and the tree of the Valencio name sprouted. Only, that it wasn’t actually the Valencio as he would have preferred. Over the years, the name went through several different changes of names until a few generations ago, the name reverted back to its roots after a certain wizard by the name of Vincent Alistair found the origins of his family’s ancestry and traced it to the Saint Valentine of Rome. After meeting the now aged Saint, he became fuelled by rage that his ancestor would deceive everyone like that. After murdering the former Saint of Rome, the name of Valentine came back to the family once more.

Ever since that day, the Valencio’s became known as the Valentines. And since that day, their name became one to be reckoned with in the Wizardry World. They soon became known as one of the most prominent as well as wealthy - and equally as ruthless - families. They even rivaled the Malfoy’s of England.

The current head of the Valentine family, Fabio Vincent Valentine, is the father to fiveValentine children, the second youngest being one Carlo Dion Valentine(only by five minutes ahead of his twin sister), a student at the Salem Witches’ Institute. The young Carlo was groomed from the very start to appeal to people a certain way, speak to them a certain way, and always show good manners. There was never a moment where Carlo was allowed to speak out of turn when it came to social gatherings at the Valentine Estate, even less when visiting other places. Only because of Carlo’s heritage was he forced to attend the Salem Witches’ Institute. He didn’t want to, but as it was tradition for the Valentines, he had to.

Six years he had been there and Carlo has never once gotten a word of congratulations from his father. Even though his mother, Bianca Valentine, had her ways of showing her love for what her son has done, she hardly showed it in front of others due to the strictness that his father puts on him. Regardless, Carlo never once acted out towards his teachers - well, that is until maybe his forth or fifth year where he garnered himself a large popularity. In truth, due to who he was and how he looked, Carlo became really popular with the ladies and even took part in Quiddish when he was in those years. However, he has long since given that up due to reasons unknown. Some say that he was forced to and some say that he simply lost interest. Whatever the reason, it was a damn shame since Carlo was one of the best beaters that SWI has known.

F A M I L Y

For some odd reason, all of those who have blood directly descended from the Saint Valentine of Rome have all been born on February 14th, which is ironically Valentine‘s Day, named after said saint.

The main Valentine Estate is located within The Golden Triangle Neighborhood of Greenwich, Connecticut.

It’s mainly a Wizard-only neighborhood with the exception of a few muggle and halfblood families in residence. The Valentines look over that since all of the families are from the upper-class and above of financial and social standing. The Valentine Estate is the largest - and richest - estate in the neighborhood. It is known for holding the most extravagant parties during the winter and summer breaks, especially if the children are home. Though, most of the social gatherings happen while they are away for school.

The Valentine wealth comes from a number of questionable activities as they have been the center of a lot of controversy of importing nigh-illegal goods from all over the world. Though none of it has been proven, it still has been questioned by the Republic of Magic.

The Valentine Family as it stands now:

  Described as strict, overbearing, and always on his children’s asses about their respective responsibilities. He also has a habit of physically abusing them if they get out of hand or if they argue with anything he commands them to do - that goes double for Bianca.
• Bianca Valentine | 58 | Executive Vice President of Valentine Incorporated
  Described as firm, but still loving. She is probably the reason why the Valentine children have love in their hearts. Even though he abuses her, she loves her husband and knows that there is good in him even after all the shit he does to her.
• Pablo Valentine | 30 | Co-Vice President of Valentine Incorporated
  Being the first born, Pablo definitely takes after his father the most. He has just as much strictness in him as his father has and is just as much of a hardass like Fabio. There is also a rather power-hungry and greedy side to him. There is currently a plan to overthrow his father sometime in the future.
• Adrianna Theresa Valentine | 25 | Professor at NYU
  Completely separate from her family’s semi-legal operations, Adrianna chose to not even take part in her family’s business. Instead - and much against her father and mother’s wish - chose to live among the muggles as she teaches Film Study at NYU. She tries to maintain a relationship with her family, but they haven’t returned her olive branch. Well, that is aside from her youngest brother, Carlo, who has a rather close bond to her. He still harbors some kind of anger towards her for leaving. If only he knew why..

  Though a bit wild, Cassie has been given the opportunity by her parents to redeem herself in their image by giving her a job at the family business. She is described as that kind of person that doesn’t really like being told what to do and usually acts out just to spite her parents. This, obviously, isn’t something that they like - especially her father due to the way that he is. She is awfully close to Carlo and Adrianna.

Given to him by his oldest sister, Adrianna, Tomers is a Toyger breed. Usually that type of breed of cats come in a more orange and black color scheme. However, Tomers isn’t like the usual type of Toyger breed. Everything about him is unusual from his fur color to how he supposedly has hints of magical prowess. Carlo was told that when he first got Tomers. At the time, he believed it, which was why Carlo protected Tomers with all that he could. However, as he soon learned, it was just some selling tactic that the store owner tried - and it worked. Regardless of that, however, Carlo loves his Tomers, even though the cat can sometimes be a bit of a handful since he is very lazy and doesn’t like to play when Carlo wanted to.

Carlo learned that, over the years of owning Tomers, that his lazy and stubborn cat loves to be in front of a camera. He has no idea why Tomers does, but for whatever reason, he will do all that he can to get in front of a camera even if it’s getting in the way of news casts or other people’s vision. One time when Carlo tried to remove Tomers away from being in front of a camera, the damned cat snapped at him so hard that Carlo nearly lost his right index finger due to it.

Again, Carlo loves his cat, but he’s a real dick sometimes.

_{Senua's most obvious features are her chest-level copper-brown hair and her brooding sky-blue eyes. She often wears her slightly-curled hair in a braid or ponytail down her front. Her face is round, slightly-oval in shape, her nose pert, and her lips a healthy shade of pink. Her ivory complexion boasts a hint of golden undertones, and with the exception of a smattering of light freckles, is unblemished of any scars or tattoos. Her build is slim and athletic, and she stands at 5'4". She is incredibly fit, yet still retaining a modicum of curves. While the girl might come across as cold and perpetually angry due to the brooding frowns she often has on her visage, she is anything but cold. As far as clothing goes, Senua can usually be seen dressed in a white T-shirt and a pair of overall shorts, but other T-shirts and blouses of varying design along with an assortment of shorts and pants are also worn. Delving Deeper

P E R S O N A L I T Y

On a first impression, Senua may often come across as angry or aloof because of her eyebrow that knitts as she frowns, or that glassy stare that make it seem as though you are being ignored. However,the girl is anything but those. Despite her how outer appearance and expression may seem to be, once one gets to know her, they would discover her to be rather warm and friendly. A habit of relapsing into dreamland mode often gives her that blank stare she is often teased about. She may not be as intelligent as her peers, but she more than makes up for it with her diligence and dedication in her tasks and activities. Not one to boast, her humble and down-to-earth nature was one of the earliest traits in her life that was especially nurtured by her equally humble parents. Her father, William had seen plenty of the snobbish side of things and wanted nothing to do with that when it came to his child. It was to his fortune that his wife shared his views and imparted similar values onto their daughter.

When she isn't daydreaming, Senua is known to be highly-focused and remarkably industrious, willing to put in the extra mile to achieve her goal or complete the tasks assigned to her. Once she sets goals for herself, she becomes incredibly dedicated to her goals, pretty much almost to the point of stubbornness. Those victories sure smell sweet though, and it is that though that keeps her pushing through when the going gets tough. Bold and adventurous, she is not afraid of trying out new things and is always looking forward to learning new stuff. A good team player who understand the necessity of teamwork and cooperation, Senua is also an outspoken and ambitious individual who is not afraid to make her views and opinions be known. It goes without a doubt that Senua is highly confident of both herself and her abilities, but not to an extent that would make her seem cocky or arrogant. H I S T O R Y

Senua was born to William and Kirstine Turner in a relatively ordinary family. Well, not so ordinary. William Turner ran away from home to marry his scottish muggle sweetheart and the pair married in their early twenties. He then created the ideal family he had always wanted, away from the influence of his domineering parents. As a pure blood, he grew up a strict and highly-regimented life that robbed him of any real meaningful childhood that had all the fun and laughter other children had.He swore that when he had a family of his own, he would never be like his parents and ensure that his children grew up with a happy childhood, one he did not have. William had stood good on his promise, as Senua, the Turner's only child grew up happily and led a carefree early childhood filled with whatever fun she could have and they could provide. A close-knit family with just the three of them, they spent plenty of time together.

At the age of eight, Senua was finally introduced to the world of withcraft and wizardry. With the possibility of entering the Salem Witches Institute in just a couple of years, her parents felt obligated to bring her into the magical world that would change her life forever. No longer bound within the restrains of a normal muggle family, the life she had been living for the past seven years, her parents now used magic freely within the house. The change had been an eye-opener for the young girl as she began to observe the most commonly used words, terms and spells used around the family home. Senua was eleven when the letter of acceptance come. Needless to say, the house was filled with celebration and joy, along with all the signs and perks of a happy close-knit family. Despite not being from the same house as him, William cared not. He was simply glad to know that his child had made it into Salem. He had full faith in his daughter that she would go on to do great things.

The Turner family bears no real weight or clout in the wizarding world. They are just simply a common middle-wealth family living among the masses. William Turner works as a middle-level employee in the Republic of Magic, and his muggle wife, Kirstin works as an English teacher in a local high school. The Turner family are not rich, but they are not poor either, being simply well-off.

The two quickly became friends and great companions to each other as they spent more and more time together.

A wavering presence bodes well with the attention-fleeing Chris. A body much too forgettable to notice, a being that is easily left behind in a variety of pretty faces. Chris is lean, short and fit enough to appear healthy despite the days he may go without eating out of stress. Haggard lines, gaunt and ghastly, coat his waist and thighs, various stretch marks and scar from childhood bullying and scraps, and all are hidden below sweaters and shirts of dim colors. He is far from a brute, in fact he is more akin to a caffeine-craving thespian, one who dances and sings instead of runs and jumps for fun and spends his other days lounging out under some tree starving and sleeping the afternoon away.

Curling hair is kept short to his head out of necessity, and is black in color and wiry in texture. His eyes gleam out beyond heavy-lidded bags, a startling pale blue against his tanner skin and dark locks. Prominent lips, a solid nose, and broad eyebrows make up the rest of his appearance, though everything is normally hidden behind veils and hoods. Chris is handsome, but at the same time not. A well-sculpted face but eternal frightened expression confounds most viewers, and due to his one-answer attitude and meek personality most end up expecting nothing new from the shy boy. Sleep has since been cruel to him, and most days leave him with dark eyes and gaunt cheeks.</sub>

Meek. The perfect word to describe Chris Abbott. Words are often lost to his shy tongue, thrown into a vast world of unknowing and fear due to anxiety and insecurities. Chris is quiet, but not because he like being quiet, rather the reason is more akin to him being terrified of others. He hates the idea of verbal arguments or insults, and as such he keeps himself withdrawn and wordless until he is with others he knows. Countless past mishaps have lead up to his generally anti-social behaviors, and while he hates this part of himself to no end he has no true desire to fix it.

Curiosity is Chris' driving force. It keeps him focused and well-read, as well as busy. He is a true intellectual, one who seeks out answers only to be fine with finding more questions. With all his introvert-gained free time he has spent countless hours reading and researching things that may drive him mad with unanswered ideals. His curiosity may insight some recklessness at times, however, and those close to Chris often have to convince him when not to chase down an answer. His thirst for knowledge also makes him quite studious, and due to his he has memorized countless potion recipes and spells just to have for a rainy day. His brains would make him the best choice for a tutor, but his quick lips and shy stares obviously wouldn't cut it for that job.

Despite his anxious self, Chris has shown moments of true bravery when faced with the thought of someone he loves getting hurt. He is selfless, able to throw himself in the way of danger just so someone else could make it out okay. Bravery comes in short bursts for him, but when it does all logic is thrown out the door in favor of an emotional response. Speaking of, Chris considers himself a logical person. He relies on facts to make opinions, and if not for the more thoughtful side of him he would easily fall into a routine of crying or complaining every day of his life. Underneath that logic, of course, is the emotional side of Chris. The side that cries out in sadness when he makes a single mistake, and the side that punches a wall in rage when his perfect streak is finally broken. Chris' relies on perfection to feel good about himself, and when he fails he may fall into an intense, few-days-lasting depression. Tears are no unknown feat for him, and he is often chastised by his friends or family for crying so easily.

H I S T O R Y

Chris was born into a middle-class, Egyptian family in Pittsburg, PA. His father was a kind man, air-headed but knowledgeable, and he worked as a university professor in the liberal arts department. His mother stayed at home most days and cared for him and the house, and though she was a bit fiery Chris remembers her as being quite a caring mother. He grew up meekly, often pushed through bullies in school and tried to keep his head low, because he knew something was different with him. He knew he wasn't like the other kids. And the other kids knew as well. They pulled at his pants in the halls and tripped him in the aisles in class, and Chris kept it all hidden from his folks, deeming them already too stressed with their own lives to worry about him.

His first instance of magic came when the fifth grade bullying became a bit too rough. He had been punched full on in the face and, in a moment of panic, he set the grass around him alight. The boys ran off in fear, and Chris was left stupefied by the sudden flames around him. Curiosity and fear made him sought out answers, and he researched through countless books and online sources until he eventually brought his new found abilities to his parents. They were confused, but still as caring as ever. His mother grew much more protective of him, and his father also began to look into his powers until the first letter came.

Salem Witches' Institute. Chris read through the acceptance letter ecstatically, but his parents seemed wary.A bit of convincing showed them how this could help him, and eventually Chris was sent off to his first year with cheap robes and a wand that seemed made just for him. The rest of his years leading up to his current were full of quiet moments and intense research. He caught on quickly in classes, finding that the topics taught were much more interesting then real muggle schooling, and he has since made his mark on the school with his high scores and emotional, oddly quiet ways.

Amr Said Abbott (47) - Chris' extremely supportive and extremely dimwitted father. He is a man who was once very agile but has since been plagued with the illness of age, an illness that has since taken away his ability to walk without an aid. Chris loves his father to death, even if his constant questions and mistranslated wordings get a bit annoying after some time. Amr bears the most resemblance to Chris save for his pin-straight, light brown hair and dark eyes.

Mona Hanan Abbott (45) - Chris' short, fiery mother. She is fiercely loyal to her family and even more loyal to secrets, and after Chris discovered his powers she vowed to keep hims safe and happy despite them. Her constant coddling, however, may be the reason for Chris' emotional and shy ways. Mona shares Chris' black, curly hair and bright eyes.

A crow named Thalath. Chris found him a few years before coming to Salem and the two have been inseparable ever since. Thalath is incredibly clever and witty and seems to have gotten his Chris impersonation down to a tee. Thalath spends most of his time in Chris' dorm or flying out and about the Salem campus looking for food, and often times students will use him to locate carrion and other rotting items for homework, potions, or just to play with.

<sub>There comes a lot of elegance and grace that comes with the way that Carlo presents himself. His posture is always straight. His back is never arched, which makes him seem taller than his 5’10 frame actually is. His hair is always tucked back tightly in a ponytail. Because he does that, his piercing blue eyes are shown in full view. Sometimes when he’s working out - which is often frequently - his hair can fall over his eyes, but those blue eyes of his still show. Speaking of working out, Carlo’s body has a rather athletic figure. That shouldn’t come as a surprise. As a former and talented Quidditch Beater of House Good, Carlo had to keep his body in prime condition. Though he hasn’t played Quidditch in about a year, Carlo keeps his body in peak condition. If not for his own health, then just so that he can represent himself that only a Valentine could.

Whether he is in the House Good uniform or his own style, everyone at Salem Witches’ Institute can expect Carlo to present himself as a guy like Carlo would. His shirts are always pre-ironed before he goes to bed. They are always straight, there are no wrinkles in them, and always tucked in perfectly. When he dresses himself, Carlo has to remember that he’s not only representing himself, his family, his house, but he is also representing Salem Witches’ Institute as a whole — every student is. As such, he has to make sure he looks the part. As far as his style is concerned, Carlo usually dresses in semi-formal wear. He has slacks and dress pants, button-up shirts, an assortment of sweater vests, leather dress shoes, and pretty much any kind of attire that one such as Carlo would have.

Carlo isn’t a fan of jewelry, which is why he doesn’t have his ears pierced, or any other part of his body, for that matter. However, there is one item that he treasures above everything else. It is a simple, wonderfully-crafted necklace. It is crafted from pure silver and has a single ruby imbedded into the center where it has the shape of a heart with what looks like a white-as-pearl dot in the center. It was given to him by — well, Carlo doesn’t exactly remember who did. All he knows is that, whenever he looks that the heart-shaped ruby, he gets this warm feeling as if the necklace was given to him by someone he had a close, emotional attachment to.</sub>

Not to use slang, but the way that one could describe Carlo as the best they can without making it overcomplicated would be that he has a gentleman’s swag. The charisma he shows off can lead anyone to believe what he says. That isn’t to say that he’s manipulative, but he wouldn’t say anything if someone were to blindly follow or believe him about something. His charm also goes hand in hand with his charisma since its essentially the same thing. Carlo’s charming personality puts him in a good light to the professors, especially if they catch him or those he is with in a compromising situation.

When Carlo speaks, he is able to capture the grace and beauty in anything he is reciting in front of anyone. He is able to capture the emotion within the written text he is reciting as well clearly express it in a memorable way. Adding to speaking eloquently, Carlo shows a certain grace when he’s around people that can only be described as elegant sophistication. What this means is that Carlo does not subject himself to the primal instincts of man that includes, but is not limited to : curse words, starting fights for no reason, being without manners, making noise when eating, burping and farting whenever the need comes, making inappropriate jokes. So, in the end of it all, Carlo acts with dignity and grace and his manner of speaking represent itself as such.

To say that Carlo is confident would be an understatement. Some could say that it’s more cockiness than it is just confidence. Being the son of one of the richest families in the Canadian-American Wizardry World, Carlo half-expects people to treat him a certain way or for him to get a certain reaction. This could show itself in a form of elitism or perhaps even an overconfidence that would fall over into the cockiness region. His overconfidence and almost self-entitlement shows itself dominantly when he’s vying for the attention of someone. It could be some lucky girl that stands out to him in a crowd of wonderful applicants to become his woman. He looks for those that seem different than the rest of the snobbish ones. When he spots one he likes, he goes in like a tiger - fierce and full of confidence. When he approaches them, he will use all that he could to get them to say yes. However, there have been instances where Carlo has been given the word “no” in response to his advances. That’s entirely okay with him even though he doesn’t like the word no. He simply smiles at the fact that he’s going to be able to partake in a game of persuasion - which he is awfully good at. He likes to think that the word “no” just means that he isn’t trying hard enough and a grand gesture won’t be enough; he needs to win whomever he’s trying to get the attention of so much that they couldn’t possibly stay away from him.

Coming from the background that he does, there comes a certain amount of abrasive arrogance that, while Carlo doesn’t intend to, he could come off as a bit insensitive. This is due to the fact that he perhaps doesn’t think of what he says to people that might come from a lower social class than him. Or perhaps it’s that he doesn’t think about what he says and it comes off in a snobbish way. Regardless of what it is, this is sometimes off-putting to those in the middle and lower classes of wealth.

Underneath all of that style, all of that grace, that eloquent, and that elegance, is a man wanting to find love. Underneath all of that overconfidence and nigh-cockiness is a boy who never really found himself to be accepted by his parents. Though as he might try to fool those around him - and maybe himself - Carlo never really could. He wants to find someone that would be able to look past all of those off-putting traits and do what his parents could not wholly: accept him for all that he is.

Though never proven, rumor has it that the Valentine family is directly derived from Saint Valentine of Rome himself. It‘s true that there is a lot of mystery that surrounds the great Saint Valentine of Rome like who exactly he was and what he did for the Roman Catholic Church back in his day of living. At least, that‘s what the public has reason to believe. In actuality, he faked his death. It was rather easy considering the wonders of magic and how the muggles could be deceived by anything. Surely a simple alteration spell of his death would be enough to fool them.

After his faked death, Saint Valentine desired anonymity from the Roman Catholic Church, so he sought out help from a few contacts within the Wizardry World where he would assume a new identiy with a new face to boot. Under the name Vincent Valencio, the former Saint Valentine took to a promising land across the Atlantic that would later become what is known in the modern day as America. It was secluded and more importantly, away from those that wished to harm him. There he settled in a cottage and lived his days in peace.

If one was to trace his life down through that funny thing we call time, it would reveal that sometime after he settled and in the year of 2014, he had a family and the tree of the Valencio name sprouted. Only, that it wasn’t actually the Valencio as he would have preferred. Over the years, the name went through several different changes of names until a few generations ago, the name reverted back to its roots after a certain wizard by the name of Vincent Alistair found the origins of his family’s ancestry and traced it to the Saint Valentine of Rome. After meeting the now aged Saint, he became fuelled by rage that his ancestor would deceive everyone like that. After murdering the former Saint of Rome, the name of Valentine came back to the family once more.

Ever since that day, the Valencio’s became known as the Valentines. And since that day, their name became one to be reckoned with in the Wizardry World. They soon became known as one of the most prominent as well as wealthy - and equally as ruthless - families. They even rivaled the Malfoy’s of England.

The current head of the Valentine family, Fabio Vincent Valentine, is the father to fiveValentine children, the second youngest being one Carlo Dion Valentine(only by five minutes ahead of his twin sister), a student at the Salem Witches’ Institute. The young Carlo was groomed from the very start to appeal to people a certain way, speak to them a certain way, and always show good manners. There was never a moment where Carlo was allowed to speak out of turn when it came to social gatherings at the Valentine Estate, even less when visiting other places. Only because of Carlo’s heritage was he forced to attend the Salem Witches’ Institute. He didn’t want to, but as it was tradition for the Valentines, he had to.

Six years he had been there and Carlo has never once gotten a word of congratulations from his father. Even though his mother, Bianca Valentine, had her ways of showing her love for what her son has done, she hardly showed it in front of others due to the strictness that his father puts on him. Regardless, Carlo never once acted out towards his teachers - well, that is until maybe his forth or fifth year where he garnered himself a large popularity. In truth, due to who he was and how he looked, Carlo became really popular with the ladies and even took part in Quiddish when he was in those years. However, he has long since given that up due to reasons unknown. Some say that he was forced to and some say that he simply lost interest. Whatever the reason, it was a damn shame since Carlo was one of the best beaters that SWI has known.

For some odd reason, all of those who have blood directly descended from the Saint Valentine of Rome have all been born on February 14th, which is ironically Valentine‘s Day, named after said saint.

The main Valentine Estate is located within The Golden Triangle Neighborhood of Greenwich, Connecticut.

It’s mainly a Wizard-only neighborhood with the exception of a few muggle and halfblood families in residence. The Valentines look over that since all of the families are from the upper-class and above of financial and social standing. The Valentine Estate is the largest - and richest - estate in the neighborhood. It is known for holding the most extravagant parties during the winter and summer breaks, especially if the children are home. The Valentine wealth comes from a number of questionable activities as they have been the center of a lot of controversy of importing nigh-illegal goods from all over the world. Though none of it has been proven, it still has been questioned by the Republic of Magic.

  Described as strict, overbearing, and always on his children’s asses about their respective responsibilities. He also has a habit of physically abusing them if they get out of hand or if they argue with anything he commands them to do - that goes double for Bianca.
• Bianca Valentine | 58 | Executive Vice President of Valentine Incorporated
  Described as firm, but still loving. She is probably the reason why the Valentine children have love in their hearts. Even though he abuses her, she loves her husband and knows that there is good in him even after all the shit he does to her.
• Pablo Valentine | 30 | Co-Vice President of Valentine Incorporated
  Being the first born, Pablo definitely takes after his father the most. He has just as much strictness in him as his father has and is just as much of a hardass like Fabio. There is also a rather power-hungry and greedy side to him. There is currently a plan to overthrow his father sometime in the future.
• Adrianna Theresa Valentine | 25 | Professor at NYU
  Completely separate from her family’s semi-legal operations, Adrianna chose to not even take part in her family’s business. Instead - and much against her father and mother’s wish - chose to live among the muggles as she teaches Film Study at NYU. She tries to maintain a relationship with her family, but they haven’t returned her olive branch. Well, that is aside from her youngest brother, Carlo, who has a rather close bond to her. He still harbors some kind of anger towards her for leaving. If only he knew why..
• Cassandria Medusa Valentine | 22 | Assistant Branch Manager of Valentine Incorporated
  Though a bit wild, Cassie has been given the opportunity by her parents to redeem herself in their image by giving her a job at the family business. She is described as that kind of person that doesn’t really like being told what to do and usually acts out just to spite her parents. This, obviously, isn’t something that they like - especially her father due to the way that he is. She is awfully close to Carlo and Adrianna.

Given to him by his oldest sister, Adrianna, Tomers is a Toyger breed. Usually that type of breed of cats come in a more orange and black color scheme. However, Tomers isn’t like the usual type of Toyger breed. Everything about him is unusual from his fur color to how he supposedly has hints of magical prowess. Carlo was told that when he first got Tomers. At the time, he believed it, which was why Carlo protected Tomers with all that he could. However, as he soon learned, it was just some selling tactic that the store owner tried - and it worked. Regardless of that, however, Carlo loves his Tomers, even though the cat can sometimes be a bit of a handful since he is very lazy and doesn’t like to play when Carlo wanted to.

Carlo learned that, over the years of owning Tomers, that his lazy and stubborn cat loves to be in front of a camera. He has no idea why Tomers does, but for whatever reason, he will do all that he can to get in front of a camera even if it’s getting in the way of news casts or other people’s vision. One time when Carlo tried to remove Tomers away from being in front of a camera, the damned cat snapped at him so hard that Carlo nearly lost his right index finger due to it.

Again, Carlo loves his cat, but he’s a real dick sometimes.

_{Senua's most obvious features are her chest-level copper-brown hair and her brooding sky-blue eyes. She often wears her slightly-curled hair in a braid or ponytail down her front. Her face is round, slightly-oval in shape, her nose pert, and her lips a healthy shade of pink. Her ivory complexion boasts a hint of golden undertones, and with the exception of a smattering of light freckles, is unblemished of any scars or tattoos. Her build is slim and athletic, and she stands at 5'4". She is incredibly fit, yet still retaining a modicum of curves. While the girl might come across as cold and perpetually angry due to the brooding frowns she often has on her visage, she is anything but cold. P E R S O N A L I T Y

On a first impression, Senua may often come across as angry or aloof because of her eyebrow that knitts as she frowns, or that glassy stare that make it seem as though you are being ignored. However,the girl is anything but those. Despite her how outer appearance and expression may seem to be, once one gets to know her, they would discover her to be rather warm and friendly. A habit of relapsing into dreamland mode often gives her that blank stare she is often teased about. She may not be as intelligent as her peers, but she more than makes up for it with her diligence and dedication in her tasks and activities. Not one to boast, her humble and down-to-earth nature was one of the earliest traits in her life that was especially nurtured by her equally humble parents. Her father, William had seen plenty of the snobbish side of things and wanted nothing to do with that when it came to his child. It was to his fortune that his wife shared his views and imparted similar values onto their daughter.

When she isn't daydreaming, Senua is known to be highly-focused and remarkably industrious, willing to put in the extra mile to achieve her goal or complete the tasks assigned to her. Once she sets goals for herself, she becomes incredibly dedicated to her goals, pretty much almost to the point of stubbornness. Those victories sure smell sweet though, and it is that though that keeps her pushing through when the going gets tough. Bold and adventurous, she is not afraid of trying out new things and is always looking forward to learning new stuff. A good team player who understand the necessity of teamwork and cooperation, Senua is also an outspoken and ambitious individual who is not afraid to make her views and opinions be known. It goes without a doubt that Senua is highly confident of both herself and her abilities, but not to an extent that would make her seem cocky or arrogant. It is simply enough to show that she is passionate enough to be able to stand her ground and fight for what she believes in.

H I S T O R Y

Senua was born to William and Kirstine Turner in a relatively ordinary family. Well, not so ordinary. William Turner ran away from home to marry his scottish muggle sweetheart and the pair married in their early twenties. He then created the ideal family he had always wanted, away from the influence of his domineering parents. As a pure blood, he grew up a strict and highly-regimented life that robbed him of any real meaningful childhood that had all the fun and laughter other children had.He swore that when he had a family of his own, he would never be like his parents and ensure that his children grew up with a happy childhood, one he did not have. William had stood good on his promise, as Senua, the Turner's only child grew up happily and led a carefree early childhood filled with whatever fun she could have and they could provide. A close-knit family with just the three of them, they spent plenty of time together.

At the age of eight, Senua was finally introduced to the world of withcraft and wizardry. With the possibility of entering the Salem Witches Institute in just a couple of years, her parents felt obligated to bring her into the magical world that would change her life forever. No longer bound within the restrains of a normal muggle family, the life she had been living for the past seven years, her parents now used magic freely within the house. The change had been an eye-opener for the young girl as she began to observe the most commonly used words, terms and spells used around the family home. Senua was eleven when the letter of acceptance come. Needless to say, the house was filled with celebration and joy, along with all the signs and perks of a happy close-knit family. Despite not being from the same house as him, William cared not. He was simply glad to know that his child had made it into Salem. He had full faith in his daughter that she would go on to do great things.

F A M I L Y

The Turner family bears no real weight or clout in the wizarding world. They are just simply a common middle-wealth family living among the masses. William Turner works as a middle-level employee in the Republic of Magic, and his muggle wife, Kirstin works as an English teacher in a local high school. The Turner family are not rich, but they are not poor either, being simply well-off.

Maxson was given to Senua as a gift on her last birthday. Her parents thought that their darling daughter seemed lonely, and they had the thought that a dog would help to ease some of the loneliness. She named her Fawn Great Dane puppy Maxson, or Max for short. Attentive and loving, he has always been sweet and eager to please,vying for her attention whenever he sees that she is unoccupied. The two quickly became friends and great companions to each other as they spent more and more time together.

A wavering presence bodes well with the attention-fleeing Chris. A body much too forgettable to notice, a being that is easily left behind in a variety of pretty faces. Chris is lean, short and fit enough to appear healthy despite the days he may go without eating out of stress. Haggard lines, gaunt and ghastly, coat his waist and thighs, various stretch marks and scar from childhood bullying and scraps, and all are hidden below sweaters and shirts of dim colors. He is far from a brute, in fact he is more akin to a caffeine-craving thespian, one who dances and sings instead of runs and jumps for fun and spends his other days lounging out under some tree starving and sleeping the afternoon away.

Curling hair is kept short to his head out of necessity, and is black in color and wiry in texture. His eyes gleam out beyond heavy-lidded bags, a startling pale blue against his tanner skin and dark locks. Prominent lips, a solid nose, and broad eyebrows make up the rest of his appearance, though everything is normally hidden behind veils and hoods. Chris is handsome, but at the same time not. A well-sculpted face but eternal frightened expression confounds most viewers, and due to his one-answer attitude and meek personality most end up expecting nothing new from the shy boy. Sleep has since been cruel to him, and most days leave him with dark eyes and gaunt cheeks.</sub>

Meek. The perfect word to describe Chris Abbott. Words are often lost to his shy tongue, thrown into a vast world of unknowing and fear due to anxiety and insecurities. Chris is quiet, but not because he like being quiet, rather the reason is more akin to him being terrified of others. He hates the idea of verbal arguments or insults, and as such he keeps himself withdrawn and wordless until he is with others he knows. Countless past mishaps have lead up to his generally anti-social behaviors, and while he hates this part of himself to no end he has no true desire to fix it.

Curiosity is Chris' driving force. It keeps him focused and well-read, as well as busy. He is a true intellectual, one who seeks out answers only to be fine with finding more questions. With all his introvert-gained free time he has spent countless hours reading and researching things that may drive him mad with unanswered ideals. His curiosity may insight some recklessness at times, however, and those close to Chris often have to convince him when not to chase down an answer. His thirst for knowledge also makes him quite studious, and due to his he has memorized countless potion recipes and spells just to have for a rainy day. His brains would make him the best choice for a tutor, but his quick lips and shy stares obviously wouldn't cut it for that job.

Despite his anxious self, Chris has shown moments of true bravery when faced with the thought of someone he loves getting hurt. He is selfless, able to throw himself in the way of danger just so someone else could make it out okay. Bravery comes in short bursts for him, but when it does all logic is thrown out the door in favor of an emotional response. Speaking of, Chris considers himself a logical person. He relies on facts to make opinions, and if not for the more thoughtful side of him he would easily fall into a routine of crying or complaining every day of his life. Underneath that logic, of course, is the emotional side of Chris. The side that cries out in sadness when he makes a single mistake, and the side that punches a wall in rage when his perfect streak is finally broken. Chris' relies on perfection to feel good about himself, and when he fails he may fall into an intense, few-days-lasting depression. Tears are no unknown feat for him, and he is often chastised by his friends or family for crying so easily.

H I S T O R Y

Chris was born into a middle-class, Egyptian family in Pittsburg, PA. His father was a kind man, air-headed but knowledgeable, and he worked as a university professor in the liberal arts department. His mother stayed at home most days and cared for him and the house, and though she was a bit fiery Chris remembers her as being quite a caring mother. He grew up meekly, often pushed through bullies in school and tried to keep his head low, because he knew something was different with him. He knew he wasn't like the other kids. And the other kids knew as well. They pulled at his pants in the halls and tripped him in the aisles in class, and Chris kept it all hidden from his folks, deeming them already too stressed with their own lives to worry about him.

His first instance of magic came when the fifth grade bullying became a bit too rough. He had been punched full on in the face and, in a moment of panic, he set the grass around him alight. The boys ran off in fear, and Chris was left stupefied by the sudden flames around him. Curiosity and fear made him sought out answers, and he researched through countless books and online sources until he eventually brought his new found abilities to his parents. They were confused, but still as caring as ever. His mother grew much more protective of him, and his father also began to look into his powers until the first letter came.

Salem Witches' Institute. Chris read through the acceptance letter ecstatically, but his parents seemed wary.A bit of convincing showed them how this could help him, and eventually Chris was sent off to his first year with cheap robes and a wand that seemed made just for him. The rest of his years leading up to his current were full of quiet moments and intense research. He caught on quickly in classes, finding that the topics taught were much more interesting then real muggle schooling, and he has since made his mark on the school with his high scores and emotional, oddly quiet ways.

F A M I L Y

Amr Said Abbott (47) - Chris' extremely supportive and extremely dimwitted father. He is a man who was once very agile but has since been plagued with the illness of age, an illness that has since taken away his ability to walk without an aid. Chris loves his father to death, even if his constant questions and mistranslated wordings get a bit annoying after some time. Amr bears the most resemblance to Chris save for his pin-straight, light brown hair and dark eyes.

Mona Hanan Abbott (45) - Chris' short, fiery mother. She is fiercely loyal to her family and even more loyal to secrets, and after Chris discovered his powers she vowed to keep hims safe and happy despite them. Her constant coddling, however, may be the reason for Chris' emotional and shy ways. Mona shares Chris' black, curly hair and bright eyes.

A three-eyed crow named Thalath. Chris found him a few years before coming to Salem and the two have been inseparable ever since. Thalath is incredibly clever and witty and seems to have gotten his Chris impersonation down to a tee. Thalath spends most of his time in Chris' dorm or flying out and about the Salem campus looking for food, and often times students will use him to locate carrion and other rotting items for homework, potions, or just to play with.

<sub>Raised in a ranch, Vince is a rambunctious, 14 year old, who loves a good physical challenge. For a youngin', he holds himself up high and won't let upperclassmen belittle him. Some think he may have a bad attitude but it's more like he hates when people think they're better than someone, especially in regards to those who are younger than them. One can assume he has a huge issue with authority because of that. Sure, he may come across as proud but his heart is usually in the right place and he never fails to follow what he thinks is right.

Vince has hazel eyes, tan skin from his Hispanic heritage (dad's side) and from being in the sun a lot. He also has scruffy, dark brown hair (nearly black) and reaches 5'7". His late mom, whose primarily Italian, use to say how he would probably grow to be 6'1" like his grandfather.

Simplicity is key to his wardrobe. He would rather be comfortable than wear a suit and nice, dress shoes any day. If it wasn't for a damn uniform, he'd wear a baseball cap or a cowboy hat, plain tee, some ripped jeans, and converse or cowboy boots. His most prominent scar is on his lower left arm from whittling wood. Any other scars he has are usually from him falling off his horse or trying to do a risky trick on his broomstick. One day he wants to get a tattoo of a blue rose on his shoulder blade to represent his mother.</sub>

Devoted and loyal to those he holds dear to him, Vince is a rebel at heart and enjoys taking chances. If he does find it in him to care about someone, he will cherish that person with every fiber of his being. He tries his best to maintain some sort of calmness but deep down he's possessive and jealous. Though Vince is strongly focused on what he wants to achieve, when it comes to the important women in his life, he becomes a total different person, putting everything on hold for them. He'll still keep his own masculine superiority, but he'll make it known that a lady's wants and needs come first. He can be a little OCD so his room is actually quite clean and everything has it's place - part of why he loves domino toppling.

He is a proud boy for many good reasons, especially since he is full of energy, but sometimes he does get out of line because of his problem with authority. His relationship with his father has made him very verbal and opinionated when it comes to dealing with his older individuals. If someone tells him "No" don't do this, he'll want to do it even more. He tries his best not to break the rules but sometimes, there are strong urges he cannot resist. He is a smart boy when he puts his mind into his work, but has a strong tendency to get distracted or sleepy. Unintentionally, he can be a troublemaker or stumble upon really bad situations for a third year to be in.

H I S T O R Y

Born in Texas on a Ranch, Vince was always surrounded by his Spanish grandparents. His Abuela Luisella made the best darn food a little ruffian like him ever had! Her cinnamon buns being his absolute favorite. Always on Sunday would she have a fresh batch made. She preferred a simple life and helped her husband and son take care of the farm so that they could focus on what they truly wanted to do. His Abuelo Manny took care of the farm and taught Vince everything he knew from woodcarving to horseback riding. He also had a side business of wandmaking which was pretty neat. Vince's wand was originally his Abuelo's. The wand is a bit stubborn but it doesn't mind Vince... it just wants Vince to grow up a bit- maybe?

The Ranch was more of a cattle farm than anything.

Occasionally, his Grandma Isa and Papa Castello would visit. Both researchers in their own sense. His grandma had an amazing green thumb, so she was always on the go researching and analyzing plants. However, Vince wanted to follow in his Papa Castello's footsteps. An astronomer! He seemed to be the most ambitious wizard out of all his family members and truly an inspiration to Vince.

As time went by, his grandparents started dropping like flies. Now all is left is his Grandma Isa, retired and staying at his father's farm.

His father, Virgil, is a strict man, always with rules and regulations, yet he disappears and drowns himself in his writing. Can't be too loud. Can't be out too long. No more sports unless Vince was at school. Sometimes Vince felt like his father blamed him for his mother's death... it would make sense. Vince blamed himself. His mother, Elena, always smelt like sweet, vanilla, and was an unbelievably, gorgeous witch. Her occupation was a freelance "nightcrawler" journalist. All the things she discovered while she was away was phenomenal...vivid... and always made it to the front page of any of the highest bidding Newspapers. His mother didn't like the idea of working for a company so she simply sold irresistible articles. There was so many times people tried to offer his mother a job but she refused. Her babies were far more important than selling her soul to a job. That really helped with the farm, but was she truly happy?

Both his mother and his grandpa were extremely daring and hardworking, constantly challenging themselves... he admired them both.

His mom and dad actually met while his mom was sneaking around a crime scene taking pictures gorilla-style. His dad was heading to a bar to meet up with some friends but then he saw his mom and he couldn't resist. Looks like his mom couldn't resist either...

Vince didn't see the good sides of his father but his mom would always say, "Your father is a good man. He just sucks at showing it." Was he the same?

Unfortunately during one of his baseball games, no one of his immediate family came... his uncle actually picked him up looking incredibly grim. It was a record breaking game! He made the winning home run and he was only 12! He discovered that his mom and dad had gotten in an argument. Dad stood home watching his baby sister while his mom drove hurriedly to his game... Now, Vince blames himself for her death.

Vince wants to be a better man than his father. He wants to be the best man for his little sister, Marisol, and a role model for his younger cousins, Castello, Marcus, and Lavendar. He will make his family name shine! Or at least, he wants to try.

Currently, his aunt and uncle on his mother's side seem to be going through marriage issues... he didn't want his little cousins to experience that. Vince hates seeing relationships shatter. His parents' almost but then his mother died. Going to Salem Witches' Institute as legacy of his mom, uncle, Grandma, and Grandpa, might be the best thing that has ever happened to him. Determined to achieve greatness in his life, Vince will become a better wizard and pick his family up from the dirt like his grandpa and mom tried to do.

Squeakers, the kid Fruit Bat

A cute little fruit bat is a little embarrassing for Vince to carry around, especially with the name 'Squeakers' but his mother's bat gave birth, his sister gave the bat it's name, and he didn't want to abandon the little thing, who no longer had it's mom. His mother's bat died shortly after his mom left this world. The little guy can get very clingy to Vince, especially since he misses his mom...

Squeakers is also extremely clumsy and loves crashing into things. Well, he doesn't love it, but he can't help it. If he likes someone, he will make sure he either flies or climbs on you until he reaches your head.

Delving Deeper

P E R S O N A L I T Y

When you first meet Athena she tends to be very sarcastic, and may come off more bitchy to those she doesn't know but once you get to know her Athena can be friendly though she has been known to be brutally honest and wont hesitate to speak her mind, she has been known to have a very rebellious streak when it comes to authority especially when it comes to anything to do with her father or the family business and will most likely refuse to do anything with either of them. Athena is the most reluctant to go to any events that their family runs, and feels the most out of place during those family events Athena will keep to herself.

Athena is extremely close to her twin brother Carlo who is only a few minutes older then she is, and can usually be seen with him almost constantly, she can be very protective over him when it comes to dealing with their older brother. When it comes to school work Athena tends to struggle getting nothing higher then C's and B's when it comes to her best classes. However when it comes to the harder subjects she has the hardest time barely making anything above a C or sometimes lower she does accept help whenever it comes to it or offered. Athena however has one big fear which is her father and is prone to nightmares and what happens in them Athena will rarely talk about it only to her brother. But most of the time Athena is seen as a confident person, and all she truly wants is to be close to someone.

H I S T O R Y

The youngest of the Valentine family though five minutes younger to her brother Carlo, she is seen as runt of the family and looked down at the most especially their father and older brother. She was the one who had gotten the most abuse from their father, and having the scars to prove it, the only people who were there for her the most were Carlo, their mother and older sister Adrianna. Though as she got older Athena learned to get used to the constant abuse. Then it came to going to Salem Witches Institute Athena felt more comfortable there then being at home Athena was sorted into House Tituba.

Athena always had a passion for the game of Quidditch as soon as she could she applied to join the Tituba's Quidditch team, along with her brother who was on the Good's Quidditch team. Athena became Tituba team's Seeker, she is one of the team's best Seekers and won several games, when Carlo quit playing Quidditch she was obviously devastated but she remained with the game even if she did end up getting sent to Hospital Ward multiple times. Athena is also in the Dueling Club which she also enjoys quiet a bit as well and Choir as the clubs that she had joined, when it comes to the ending of a semester or vacation time Athena usually ends up dreading having to go back home where she has to deal with their father.

F A M I L Y

For some odd reason, all of those who have blood directly descended from the Saint Valentine of Rome have all been born on February 14th, which is ironically Valentine‘s Day, named after said saint.

The main Valentine Estate is located within The Golden Triangle Neighborhood of Greenwich, Connecticut.

It’s mainly a Wizard-only neighborhood with the exception of a few muggle and halfblood families in residence. The Valentines look over that since all of the families are from the upper-class and above of financial and social standing. The Valentine Estate is the largest - and richest - estate in the neighborhood. It is known for holding the most extravagant parties during the winter and summer breaks, especially if the children are home. Though, most of the social gatherings happen while they are away for school.

The Valentine wealth comes from a number of questionable activities as they have been the center of a lot of controversy of importing nigh-illegal goods from all over the world. Though none of it has been proven, it still has been questioned by the Republic of Magic.

• Fabio Vincent Valentine | 65 | Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer of Valentine Incorporated
  Described as strict, overbearing, and always on his children’s asses about their respective responsibilities. He also has a habit of physically abusing them if they get out of hand or if they argue with anything he commands them to do - that goes double for Bianca.
• Bianca Valentine | 58 | Executive Vice President of Valentine Incorporated
  Described as firm, but still loving. She is probably the reason why the Valentine children have love in their hearts. Even though he abuses her, she loves her husband and knows that there is good in him even after all the shit he does to her.
• Pablo Valentine | 30 | Co-Vice President of Valentine Incorporated
  Being the first born, Pablo definitely takes after his father the most. He has just as much strictness in him as his father has and is just as much of a hardass like Fabio. There is also a rather power-hungry and greedy side to him. There is currently a plan to overthrow his father sometime in the future.
• Adrianna Theresa Valentine | 25 | Professor at NYU
  Completely separate from her family’s semi-legal operations, Adrianna chose to not even take part in her family’s business. Instead - and much against her father and mother’s wish - chose to live among the muggles as she teaches Film Study at NYU. She tries to maintain a relationship with her family, but they haven’t returned her olive branch. Well, that is aside from her youngest brother, Carlo, who has a rather close bond to her. He still harbors some kind of anger towards her for leaving. If only he knew why..
• Cassandria Medusa Valentine | 22 | Assistant Branch Manager of Valentine Incorporated
  Though a bit wild, Cassie has been given the opportunity by her parents to redeem herself in their image by giving her a job at the family business. She is described as that kind of person that doesn’t really like being told what to do and usually acts out just to spite her parents. This, obviously, isn’t something that they like - especially her father due to the way that he is. She is awfully close to Carlo and Adrianna.
