I did not get to develop the Treeminds in their natural habitat as I originally planned - but I think it's safe to assume that things mentioned in official character sheets, the Wiki, and the IC are all canon (with IC having the highest rank and things mentioned purely in the Wiki/Character Sheets being subject to change if the IC says something completely different).

And I don't blame anyone for not remembering these very minor things! If I came across as accusatory then that was definitely not the intention ^^' I mean for instance I don't remember Zotash'e - probably because I haven't read far enough into the IC to reach his post.

I feel like this thing we've got going on here is the closest I've been to having internet friends. Like really though, I've never been into the whole internet friendship thing. I mean, whats the point in having friends if you're never going to see them, right? I much prefer to hang out with my IRL friends than talk to someone 1000 miles away from where I am through a screen.

But for this little group here. I could honestly banter with you guys for hours, and not care.

@Vec Heh, I can't say this is my first time being part of a fun internet group, but this one is the second best I have been with and a refreshing one, considering most of the groups I participated died off by 2013-2014. (My first group being a quite scarring experience, considering I started as a fan of the thing in 2004 and grew up to be one of main people involved with it before it died down in 2013. I even met 3 people from that group in real life.)

But I digress, I feel like this RP is doing very well, and I hope we can tag along for a couple of years or up to turn 13, whatever comes first.

Metatic ocean came from 'meta' like metamorphosis, as in 'Toun fucked up a good fifth of the face of the planet and this was the result after the fact.' If anything is a latin root, it was me rooting the language up the arse to make that word. What is metera about?

Edit: I just looked up 'meta-' to make sure. Joke's on you, it's ancient Greek :P.

Last laugh's on me, 'Metat-' is the start of a bunch of Latin conjugations of metor, measure, from which we get meter and hence Metera- The civilisation of a geometry goddess.

I was originally going to call it Metro, since that also has implications of metropolis, which in turn is derived from mater, mother.

To be honest, the 'measured out ocean' works just as well for the Metatic. However, I don't have a high enough linguistics level to know whether the word 'Metatic' isn't a complete screwing of how words work.

Then again, thicc is in common parlance these days, so who am I to complain?
