Meta-Humans are people who gain abilities through external incidents where as Mutants are born with a genetic mutation.

Showing my age again, but in the 1984 Power Pack series that distinction is a recurring plot point. The kids, because they're kids with powers, are assumed to be mutants by the populace and hated appropriately for it (vice the love and feels the Avengers gets... no double standard at all there). They even have a recurring villain, the Boogeyman, whose sole agenda is based on the perception that the kids are mutants when they're not (they got their powers from an alien sorcerer).

On the flip side, the kids are friends and allies of the X-Men but are always at arm's length because they're not mutants (so they can't, for example, visit X-Factor's ship that only mutants may enter).

At least you didn't start with a reasonably short post and end up with a shit tonne of words and the odd feeling that you may have rambled a bit xD I actually have a query for you anyway, why Flash and Spider-man?

I mean obviously you're a big Spidey fan but why Flash? I noticed there's usually a common thread between characters when people have more than one, but the only one I can really find for Flash and Spider-man is they both think they're hilarious.

@Sep Well, some other common threads are that they're both men of science; they're both the product of freak accidents and not gods, royalty, or chosen last sons; they both fight a motley of eccentric, colorful criminals who are largely harmless crooks with the occasional true psychopath; they're both defined, at least in some part, by the women in their lives.

But mostly, I just like 'em.

I was heavily considering doing Young Avengers, but I'd also be happy to set up a Young Justice RP too. Especially after trying to do a Young Avengers/Young Justice combined universe RP went south so damn quickly.

As for this RP, I have an idea that should keep Morden happy, and provide an interesting element to the action, at first with the first story. Plus if the stars align, it would set up a seriously awesome fight.
