I still find it hard to imagine Leila as any sort of a fighter ahaha I thought the deranged math professor we came up with in the chat was the consensus for a future Leila but man this is amazing too.

As some of you may have already heard through the chat group.

Leila's life before the train was...rather uneventful, really. There was that time of drama when the genius thing started being noticeable and the family having a hard time dealing with it, but that was when she was like, six, seven years old?

She lived in that complex ever since. Her parents were the kind of people who were so busy their schedules are laid out by the second (and without exception, by someone other than themselves because they have better things to be doing than arranging schedules) so she didn't really get to meet them much. Her parents considered her to be mad more than anything else, so one could probably say her living complex was more like a self-built asylum since they decided it would've damaged the reputation of the family and its business if they sent her to an actual one? But yeah, I suppose you are free to pull the "princess in a tower" symbolism here.

A little batch of people monitor her living - mostly so that she didn't randomly get lost or die somewhere by accident. Most of them are just sent there as a temporary station, except a few, like old man James some of you might remember from further back in the IC on the old guild, who are assigned to the living complex permanently, and Leila actually got to know a few of them over time. Might as well say they're her family in a way, and the complex is more like a self-constructed host family instead. Less tragic than the idea of just being locked up I guess?

All that from her actual perspective was much less dramatic than it'd sound because she honestly didn't care back then and was just happy to have her tea and her books. And she also considered a supply of food and a place to rest without needing to fight for it to be really great. She didn't really mind the restricted environment because there was already enough in the Library to keep her engaged for a lifetime, so yeah.

Then there was the train and it messed everything up.

Her family probably thinks she's dead by now, even though the news would likely only get to her parents officially some time later after they discover her missing because it takes time to relay news through the hierarchy of something as large as her family. They'll naturally be outraged and some people will likely loose their jobs, and then a funeral will be held so that no-one accuses them of being entirely heartless, although that'd be done probably as low-profile as possible. The parent's aren't entirely heartless anyways and will take some time getting over it but granted their character it'll probably take much shorter than you'd expect from people who just lost one of their children.

Not sure if Leila would regret boarding the train - she actually got to see a world much different to what she's seen so far, and she's enjoying that. Truth be told the amazement will be similar if she simply just got thrown out into the human world since she's way detached, but then the suspicion that it's not the human world also makes her inner misanthropist feel that bit better (hah). The constant threat of death she'll have to deal with, I suppose?

Yeah Leila's backstory is underdeveloped and unrealistic to the max ahah.

I kept the MMA fighter/Soldier thing because that was the only way to get the two together. Annd I made Jasper grow up to be aggressive and fearless, and made Leila feel more XD Because that's what I imagine what will happen. Maybe Jasper won't be so aggressive though.

;A; and psshhh, I love Leila's back story. It's really, really sad. Now that I think about it, most of them have sad back stories. I guess it's what made them jump on the train since a content person would have no need for super grand life-changing wish.

The ones with pretty normal/ trauma free backgrounds are Lesley, Inadi, Ran, and Riley though even then, they're still not happy.

I'm going to get started on a post ^^ this might take a while since I'm gonna do one for the dragon rider, the humans, then the hooded figures.

MUG won't be able to post during this cycle, so I'll kind of move Inadi along.

I totally understand when you guys are busy, but remember, if you're gonna miss a cycle and you have time to inform us via OOC, please do so, that way we'll on be on the same page.

Ryver and Thunder:

Guys, feel free to bust the door open and get both Toby and Ran to the battlefield. The plan is to find the other humans and help them out. Ryver, Thunder, you are also free to control both baby dragons. As soon as you get out of the cellar, you'll find yourselves in the broken-down cabin. The walls have pretty much been torn open, so you guys will immediately see everyone fighting to the death with the witch :D! Feel free to help out in whatever way you guys like.

Everyone Else:

The humans are very low on magic, so the plan is to go all out but rely on each other and the hooded figures.

Everyone is pretty much getting together at this point so :D just have fun with it. You're free to do whatever as long as you don't rip the witch's heart out. That part will be in one of the final move-along-posts for this chapter, but aside from that go crazy with combo moves or whatever. Haha, if you want you guys can control the baby dragons as well :D they'll be treated as NPCs.

The goal is to:
1. Gouge out the witch's eyes
2. Cut off her arms
3. Rip out her heart

You guys are free to do the two steps, haha, I actually encourage you to go ahead and do the two steps. (that way we can wrap this fight up xD) You can do it in anyway you guys like, just leave the third step to us ^^! We'll need it for plot purposes. *Mad cackling*

Oh, and Kei-chan is gonna get a post up soon but her internet is being really wonky, please don't ninja her ^^

Plot Twist

It was a late night, but the lights still filled the city. Who could sleep at a time like this? It was a time to celebrate and party! Because in less than three hours, it would be a new year. And who wanted to be at a party, was Ace. People were much friendlier on holidays so it was easy to crash parties, it was just which party would be best to crash was the question.

And then she found it.

After turning the wrong corner during her walk, she found the richer side of town. And one rather large mansion door was open. And just her luck! It seemed full of party guests- and she noticed a teen walking in so there had to be some 'child friendly area'. Casual as ever, she walked up to the door to be greeted by a butler. "Can I help you?" With a quick and very convincing lie, Ace managed to go right through the door and into the party. When she walked in, she took a left and ended up in a sea of adults. "Act natural-"

"Miss, what are you doing here?" Ace whirled around to explain herself, but before she could say anything the man in front of her continued. "The teens are on the other side of the house dear. Miss Leila, if that's who you're looking for, she's there as well." He stared at her for a moment before giving her an accusing look. "I'm sorry, but whose child are you?"

"Oh! Thanks for that, I'll be on my way. I can't leave Leila waiting, I had something to give her...along with the others." Another lie, and she was off. She didn't even know a Leila.

Just as the old guy said, a group of teens were in their own section, having much more fun than the adults. Well, minus the few older ones being there it was pretty much a teen fest. Walking through, she accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh, sorry...Leon." How convenient, someone made 'Get to Know Me' name tags. He merely shrugged and continued on his way.

"Now, now guys. Think of this as.. a lesson of the day alright? Heh, your parents said it was okay just as long as you had supervision- me!" One of the older gentleman was talking to a small group of teens. They were all looking at him with interest or confusion. "B-But is it safe?" A glasses wearing male asked. The older male, with the name Ran, smiled. "Yes Harper! 100% Trust me!" They all gave weary glances.

"We'll start off with introductions alright? I'm Ran as you all know."

"I'm Harper."

"Riley here."

"...Inadi."

"I'm, um, Jasper."

"Leila."

"Haku, but I'll pass. Come on Leon." Well those two were gone."

"I'm Lesley."

"Hi guys! I'm Toby."

All eyes were on Ace and she blinked. "Oh, sorry. I'm Ace."

Ran gestured her to sit with the others so she did. "Don't worry, the others have tried it too. So, you'll be fine." He gestured towards teens walking past. [Those teens would be *deceased members* except Haku and Leon, they just left]

And with that being said, everyone took a sip of their drinks, Ace was given one and they waited for the results. Some results coming later than others...Those results being Nowhere.

And right before the clock struck 12~

Nowhere happened.
