Oh god that sounds awful. This place is no where like that from what I've seen in my whole day and a half here. There also seems to be a wider age range of players too which may or may not be good news to you. :) (I personally quite like the age range diversity)

The people I've interacted with have been utterly lovely and welcoming so far and no one seems to have judged me for my terrible English skills so you should be golden!
