@KoukiA military is a large, armed force generally composed of land, air, and sea forces tasked with defending a country and all its territories, and going against whatever threatens it. You're talking five Power Rangers, five Power Rangers that have not been confirmed to be on the exact same level. What you describe of this team is nearing the endgame, when they've been battle-hardened and tested through trials and tribulations, through suffering, through defeat, and through hard fought victories. With all due respect, we have no idea the condition of this team from the very start, nor how they'll fare in actual combat Pro presents to them. So this team of five that were more than likely only chosen because they weren't under the mind control--some depends on the background and I don't see any templates yet, waiting for Pro to finish the OOC-- and nothing more than that.
Duty means a responsibility given a new role you've chosen to fill. I was not denying that these Rangers have a duty to protect New Earth from the second they touched their morphers for the first time. What you wanted was this to feel like some sort of military strike team, when thus far, as far as we know, it's these five people from different walks of life just trying to fight back and survive while doing so, and there's no guarantee for any of them--especially since I have no concrete information on most of them and none of you are likely to be warriors at heart. This was something you either felt you had to do, needed to do, or wanted to do. But me, personally? I just didn't like 'reporting for duty' to be part of the call, and that's just because it sounds more like you are more militant than strike team, and I feel that there are possibly simpler ways to initiate your call.
I liked Alex' idea: Striker (color/number/whatever), online/responding!
But you will always be reporting for duty, whether in the suit or not, because that was a task you all should have been willing to take up without powers. Lightspeed Rescue taught us that while being Rangers is a significant boon, everyday people can be heroes, so 'reporting for duty' just felt too militant and less accepting of that. The only time you guys shouldn't be reporting for duty is if you're dead lol.
But that's just me dude. Like I said, this is all about a call, and I'm down for whatever you guys decide as a group.
