Power Rangers: Strike Force

Remember, you can't use Mighty Morphin as a bases here, they were powered by magic and had profficies and destiny and all that.

All had animal themes but they were all based off of mysticism. We have to base this off of technological based rangers like

Time Force

And the like. They didn't have "rangers chosen by destiny", they had "operators of the ranger system."

And that is why I think we might not have a theme.*walks back to seat*

@Kouki Mystic Force had some really nice idea's (Specifically, the whole part of there being Monsters that weren't evil.) But, ultimately, fell through due to a lack of focus on anything but Nick's character. Everything else was kinda just filler and support to explore a character that wasn't all that interesting in the first place.

Lost Galaxy had a somewhat animal theme and it was mostly about space.

Though I'm thinking if we do have a theme, why not make it planetary? Or if that's too restricting, just space related.

Ex. The Blue Ranger could be a Comet.

Yellow = Star

Red = Sun

Black = Void or Vacuum.

So on and etc.

I actually gave up cause I couldn't think of anything for the rest lol.

Again, mystic. Lost Galaxy got their powers from five Excalibur-esque swords found in stone and used thousands of years ago to protect the galaxy. And their main villain was a witch. A space witch but still a witch.

Yeah, I know my lore (nostalgia for the win!)

All that said, space doesn't seem like a bad idea if we were to pick a theme.

Wow, you guys were busy while I was sleeping. Very nice, that makes me excited. :D So I'll go ahead and address a few things here.

1) The diversifying aesthetic of the rangers will be which color they represent on the color spectrum. Rainbow wavelength bee-yotches! This also means that there won't be a black ranger (being as black is the absence of color) and green will be in their place.

2) In terms of weapons, everyone be will have a blaster and an energy shield come standard. Each ranger will also have a personal weapon made of hard light, which can be whatever the player chooses at character creation. Sword? Hammer? Halberd? Nunchucku? Claws? Bow? So long as we don't end up with 5 swords, make it whatever you want.

1) At what point does the 6th ranger come into the story? (I expressed original interest in that particular role)

2) What colour would the 6th ranger be? We can't have white or black, since they are both colourless entities or something like that.

@ProPro Something I am actually, strongly, considering trying out for the Mentor role. Currently, i'm thinking of making the mentor a monster that was formerly a General of the big bad. He initially deciding to help the big bad, because, even though he was taking over worlds, ultimately, nobody got hurt. Now that the people are enslaved and rebellion is being crushed, he decides to turn on him. Big Bad had managed to get his hands on some ancient Morphers and planned to use them to create a Ranger team under his command. However, the general manages to steal the devices and get them into the hands of 5 teenagers with attitude.

Or, if you want a more technology-based powers, we can say that the bad guy's scientists made them.

I did mention earlier that the mentor is a middle-manager for the big bad. Who they are and where they came from beyond that, I will leave entirely up to the player.

Also, meet the foot soldiers:

The Githkin are the face of Galatec, what people are most familiar with. They are bred in tubes and mature to full adulthood in three days. Unless they are recognized for superior performance and promoted, they only know how to fight, and order slaves to "work harder." They are also significantly stronger than your average foot soldier, so don't underestimate them, rangers!

I am aiming for the Green ranger. Always loved the 'good' comedic ones. I liked RPM's set-up. Also could we potentially do something like the Psycho Rangers. I always loved when there was a baddie that was ranger-like and the Psycho Rangers were my favorite.
