[OOC] New Rivière City: The End of an Era

I am extending an invitation to anyone who wants to collab with me on an intro post, in case there's anyone who's character isn't doing much of anything, just send me a PM and we can collab on a post :)

@FamishedPants Our powers are not the same. They may be the same school of thought, however, they are not the same power. Yours is traveling through walls essentially (traveling through things which are touching eachother), mine is basically portals which travel anywhere on the spatial plane (judging by power level) or even if someone was super powerful (although Wei is not) travel through dimensions. And that is not discussing pocket dimensions. I think of it as yours as walking through objects which touch eachother while mine is the manipulation of the dimensional plane as a whole. Hopefully I explained it a little better. :)

Yes, I can walk through walls. But I can walk through a wall in American and end up in Egypt. Objects need not be touching each other? I simply need an object to place my tears on, which is the biggest difference. Riftwalk even has pocket dimensions!

Me and Nosuchthing literally got the idea that he just opened holes/entrances in objects rather than outright teleportation.

You got the wrong idea, then. Sorry, I did write it write it while I was tired, a bad habit of mine DX. It was supposed to basically be Sticky Fingers from Jojo without zippers.

Me either. I don't want Inuyasha to have to think of a different power, but I don't either. It's just about useless and just a seriously underpowered version of what I had wanted to begin with. Besides, I had to give up multiple ideas as I read through the accepted OC sheet's powers :C

Riftwalk - Bleu has the ability to create "tears" in existence on anything he touches that can be opened, letting him either travel through the object or rest within the "tear", which act like a temporary separate dimension. If desired, said "tears" can be closed, leaving no mark on the subject of the power or they can be cancelled, removing the area where the "tear" existed entirely. This functionally allows him to cut through anything, no matter how tough or thick. There is no true range limit on the power.

Limits:

There is a limit of 5 "tears" in total that may be open at any given time. Additionally, "tears" require a surface to exist on and cannot be made in the air or out of nowhere.

Weaknesses/Drawbacks:

As Bleu is only able to create "tears" on something he has touched, foes able to keep distance are especially effective against him, especially if he is put in an area he is not familiar with. Very sizeable "tears" also put a lot more strain on Bleu. These cannot be directly placed on people.

At no point did you state that the tears were linked. Yes, you said there was no true range limit, but immediately previous to that you stated that it allowed you to "travel through the object". making me think that you could maybe travel through mountain ranges, but not intercontinental :/.

As far as I can see you never mentioned any links between these tears. I get that you were tired bro, but this is the power you were approved with, not the ability to travel from America to Egypt :/. Allen J even asked you to further clarify your ability, he tagged you. I may have not, but missing out that crucial detail has meant that we have read something entirely different in your ability :/. Maybe you could change it and increase the size of the tears because their use is more limited? Being able to transport vehicles would make him very valuable indeed. Though ultimately it's up to @Mr Allen J

Sorry, @FamishedPants, but I'm going have to agree with @Nosuchthing here. This might sound harsh, but you should have explained your power as such right off the bat - it wouldn't have been hard to say he could teleport in between them.
