Aly caught something about pairs and sighed. She leaned back in her chair as she looked around the class not to exited about the project at all. She turned her head towards Uriah slightly as he had walked towards her. She raised an eye brow at him. "Me? " She said surprised. "Um, sure I guess. " She said. She knew she needed to pair up with someone, so why not.

"Sorry about this...we have to cook something with a partner...i am sorry young miss" He said moving closer towards her, Finally taking a seat waiting to be given the tools to start cooking."Honestly i'm sure most of use can cook..this class is useless right?" The young man said in a hush whisper.

Roxy moved towards him. She didn't want to be pair up with anyone but if she was going to have to have a partner she wanted it to be Deus. At least she knew him. She knew how much to trust him. She knew what to expect from him. Which was important. "We are suppose to choice. Vlad wants to see who chooses who. He is studying us. He wants to know who is drawn to who so that he can figure out why and use it against us later."

Aly looked at him confused for a moment before she spoke. "Sorry for what?"She sighed as she nodded to the useless part. "Yea, its usually easier to just eat it raw, atleast with vegetables and stuff. Theres no point to cook it, unless its meet just place it in the stove or on the fire. It isn't that hard." She said as she tapped her fingers on the desk a few times as she waited for the stuff. Well at least she knew what she was suppose to do.

Urian was confused by what she was saying,"Eating food raw?What is she some sort of animal?" He thought to himself looking over to Vlad with some displeasure on his face."Well me personally i would not want to eat meat raw for example i would rather cook it first.." Urian said now looking towards the strange girl.

Looked at him weird for a moment before she realized what he thought she meant. She shook her head, "I meant vegetables and fruit-nothing else..." She said as she raised an eyebrow at him. "I mean, what did you think I eat raw?"

"Well i thought that you ate meat raw which would be strange but i know that you are not that strange" Urian said trying his best to not sound like he was judging her, Although deep down he found her quite strange.

Alyssa rolled her eyes as she leaned back crossing her arms as she rolled her eyes. "A I said that in the last part of the sentence." She stated. "And B I never actually get to eat meat much anyways so it doesn't matter. " She said as she eyed him, trying not to completely lose her temper.

And in that sense, I could not give a fuck less for what he is trying to get out of you and me- especially compared to my need to learn all about what I missed during my reunion with the Feds."
He offered a fistbump, with a playful smile on his face. "So, what do you say, Shadowgirl? You and me, just like old times?"

Alyssa shook her head. "Don't bother." She stated. She was curious but at the same time she didn't want the class' attention on her at the moment. She also assumed that someone else would ask the same question in a matter of time. She just had to wait.

Roxy rolled her eyes. What was with people and that nickname? She supposed there were worse names that they could call him. She nodded accepting his offer. She "I don't know what the mad scientist is up to. I just know everything is data to him. I don't really care enough to pay attention to his ranting." She told Deus. She knew he hated Vlad as much as she did. He had survived the first round with her where others hadn't.

"I got the death penalty, that doesn't nullify my ability to blend in, know what does though? Keeping usaway from it."

Avary saw Aly had a partner. "Hey! Eryx!" Avary yelled to the older boy. "Do you have a partner yet?"

"Then prove that you can function in society and we will move on. I want to see you eork together. Tomorrow we will have a practice mission for you if you earn it." Vlad snapped. He wanted them to get started so that he could get his daya. His information showed they had no ability to blend in if needed.

"Fine, like none of us have lied or talked our way out of something." Eryx sighed, clearing his throat. He turned to Avary and smiled, waving and sure to squint his eyes just slightly as people did with genuine smiles. "Sure Avary, could use you on the team. Ever cooked before?" He chirps, retaining a calm demeanour with his cheery mask despite wanting to throw it at Vlads face.

These others probably knew it was a rouse of course but it was important to show it could be done. His raw attack power may have been beyond a humans but not those with other powers. He figured this type of infiltration would probably be his role.
