@Sleeth I think quite a bit of responsibility lies with you here. After all, the format of this rp assumed the GM can regularly advance the plot. This didn't happen, and the results are apparant.

What I'm getting at is that you aren't free of guilt, which was the implication I got from your response.

One day you'll have a job, bills, someone at home to take care of and friends that need you around, we can't pht our games and stories ahead of our lives, I'm sorry I couldn't be here but I'm also not guilty for prioritizing what's truly important.

@Natsucooldude It's summer, and my work Schedule is random. People make plans, this is a social time of the year to be out with friends, not in front of my computer screen.

For god's sake man, you sound like a total asshole right now. Please just leave if this is your atittude towards your fellow forumgoers.

I don't want to be that guy but I think you may have attachment issues that happen to people online and especially in the role-playing community. You need to separate yourself and realize how things go, Rp's die all the time and that sucks but if you get legitimately upset about it that's a sign of a bad social disorder that can lead to depression and suicide. You're persistent about this Rp being important over real life, would you not leave this guild or any website forever in the face of one thing in real life that you need?

It's online, people will always disappear without a chance of warning, and the more upset and angry you get about it makes me think you need help or you're like 13. You need to start seeing what actually matters here, because I and probably almost anyone else would abandon an Rp to work and help close friends grieve because the feelings of strangers saying "that sucks" when an Rp drops is nothing in significance to the people who care about you. You can keep going, and insist I'm an asshole, I'll stop replying if it'll make you feel like you've won or you're right. Bottom line is here people are too young to care, mature enough to understand, or have common sense to know what's right. I recommend you fall into one of those.

@Sleeth Alright, you sanctimonious little shit, you want to fling textwalls around, the gloves are off!

Alright, some ad hominem outright stating I'm mentally ill for being passionate about roleplaying. We're off to a "great" start.

You're persistent about this Rp being important over real life, would you not leave this guild or any website forever in the face of one thing in real life that you need?

You seem to be under the impression that there is some mystical divide between 'real' and 'online' interactions. Just because there's several miles of glassfiber between us doesn't mean you should treat us like disposable objects. You commited yourself to GM this roleplay, and you flaked out on us. So don't give me this whole "Real life got in the way" routine. It's no excuse for betraying the trust I, and presumably the other players in this thread, placed in you as GM.

It's online, people will always disappear without a chance of warning, and the more upset and angry you get about it makes me think you need help or you're like 13.

Great, more ad-hominem. Thanks for that, I was really looking for some asshole I don't even personally know to tell me how to live my life.

You need to start seeing what actually matters here, because I and probably almost anyone else would abandon an Rp to work and help close friends grieve because the feelings of strangers saying "that sucks" when an Rp drops is nothing in significance to the people who care about you.

I'm not angry because you left. I'm angry because you didn't even say you were leaving, thusly wasting the time of everyone willing to wait patiently for your next post.

Alright, here are what will 'pacify' me and get me off your ass.
1. Just admit you couldn't be arsed to care about us and give us an apology.
2. Stop implying I'm immature or mentally ill. Maybe you don't have such commitment, but that's no excuse to talk down to people who are like you are doing.
3. Never GM again. From what I've seen you just don't have the right attitudes for GMing a roleplay online and I would hate to see another group get burnt on your antics.

I don't like getting involved with stuff like this but I think I'm going to make a bit of an exception here. I'm personally with @Sleeth for the most part on this one. I agree with @Natsucooldude saying that the people behind the screen are still people and all but I don't think Sleeth is just throwing us to the curb or anything. I don't really know any of you personally and so the only thing that I can really use to connect with anyone in the RP is our (presumed) mutual love of fallout and RPing. Now that being said thats two things and, like I said before, I don't know any of you personally so if I had a choice (and I mean no offence when I say this) between Rping with you guys or going to a movie with my friends, chances are I would choose to go see the movie since that has a time limit (ie I go or I dont) while an Rp can wait a little while for me to get back.

All I'm saying is I don't think think its that big of a deal that Sleeth left for a few days to work and hang out with his friends and family.

This has plummeted, and I've started a rewrite of the second arc. Those who are still on the guild/willing to participate are of course more than welcome to do so but I make sure the Rps I create are planned far in advance because the biggest death is lack of direction. All I need is to know if your current character is going to live or if you want to make a new one, I believe the mute disappeared long ago (Who I was waiting on) and two (the sassy speech woman and the ghoul) have died.

As an inactive countermeasure I can implement forced advancement at least every other day if things slow down, choices and the new random encounters are being written/ generated and because of the failure of the first Arc the consequences are going to be represented in this event that I will co sider Arc 1.5 as two is still a different entity. These middle arcs are recovery, a way to bring everything back or, if it fails, to throw it further into chaos. There is a bad ending, the players do not always win.

@SleethSo, you're going to disappear for a few weeks and then lecture us about your inactivity countermeasures afterwards without even a hint of irony? And you're also punishing all players for the failings of a few?

Ok look, give it a rest. Please? If you are so against him right now just leave and don't bother to join the 1.5 arc. All your doing right now is attempting to cause drama, whether you intend to or not.

If it's such a big issue, just ignore it and go away or just leave it in the past.

I know I have bouts of inactiveness and I do my best not to. But sometimes I know that even though I have the time there are things I'd rather do. Same as any other person on here. Even so Im going to be staying for the next partial arc/thing. Just stop the arguing, it's giving me a virtual headache.

@Sleeth
I'd like to still have stark if at all possible. I've family visiting and I'm getting into a very heavy story to but I still have time to be here if you'll have me.

As for the current plot I was going to see if the mutant could throw a football (aka a mini nuke XD) To collapse a tunnle to prevent followers lol.

@PURRfect93 Since when was it ever called for to stop argueing with people because it's mildly annoying others. I'm sorry good sir, but I'm here to stay. Even if it's just to prove the point that I'm not a quitter.

Oh, and leave tunnel collapsing to kenneth. He can probably do it without collapsing the entire alongside.

@Natsucooldude It isn't a punishment, the purpose of the mission which they'll be told later was supposed to be a major event. This is a chance to bring everything back. Your surviving characters will be escaping live and possibly worse for the ware. While there is an object of failure this will open up and show more of what Anarchy is, deepening the lore in another direction closer to home.

@PURRfect93 Of course, all who remain will live and the others will likely die, now in this attempted collapse of a tunnel the, Ranger mute and mutant (Ha, irony. Unless the three will be rejoining) will be crushed to death in that scenario. I'll be recasting in the interest check for more bodies but if they aren't gathered it will continue as is.

@Sleeth if it's alright, I'd like to stay in this. And as such I'd rather Kurt not die. Though if he must I can always make a new guy which wouldn't be so bad, I guess - talking is a nice skill to have, lol.

But yeah, exams caught me at a weird time and whatnot plus some personal stuff hence why my own posting slowed.

@SomeChap Ah! Thought you'd left, of course he can live if you want, or he can die and you can make a speaking character. Either way, this is your choice.

I figured as much, no big deal :3 how would he have responded anywho?

@Natsucooldude
Ok look. I merely asked because there was no reason to keep dragging it out. I was merely putting out ideas on what could be done to stop it.
So to answer your question: I hate it when people are arguing, especially when one is so vehemently attacking the other without listening and trying to accept what they are saying.
To me it seemed like you were continuously trying to find some way to keep the argument going. Take it as you will but that's how I saw it.
I was never telling you to leave or saying you were a quitter, merely that if it was such an issue then why stay. That leads back to the "looking for a fight" thing I spoke of.

Anywho, I'm done on that part otherwise I'll just keep rambling my mind.

Whacha mean otherwise? You mean if Kenneth wasnt doing the demolitions? If so then I probably would have just kept it the same but leave an opening for Stark to explain what football is.
