@FantasyChic - Me and DJ are working on things with the Reactor, I would love to include you in our discussion and such that we're doing. Maybe it'll help with getting back in touch with Serenity?

Now the question remains, what causes Mags to retreat?

Considering her current state, she's near the point in where attempting to calm her down will be utterly pointless. I'll say in this, the only way to bring Mags to her senses, and to leave, is to make the connection that she was once apart of Oakridge, that she's a Guardian and bring her to remember what she once was - sort of bringing enough clarity to her mind that she forces herself to retreat less she kills them. The only other opportunity to calm her down or shock her into retreat would be to bring up Monika, but there's not enough evidence to make the connection that this is Monika's mother at the point in time. Not without a name and some such.

So Subira, being the diplomat, brings the Guardians to calm down and her words effect Magdalena who experiences a brief struggle of her consciousness mind and spirits and leaves in a terrible fit and rage and the Guardians carry on from there to do whatever they desire with the Eidolon?

Hmm, I'd like to have the option of using the Kinabalu Eidolon as an encounter later, so perhaps it disappeared during the clash between the Guardians and Magdalena. It didn't cause trouble for the army, but it didn't attack the Mordrem either. @Redrum@Ozerath@Hexaflexagon are you guys okay with Rockette's suggestion? If you are, then we can assume the Guardians to have ventured into the mine, but the Eidolon would have already left. They return to the village and inform its inhabitants that the danger is gone.

@FantasyChic
We are doing a time-skip forward, so all characters will be together on a new mission. But, talk with @Rockette about what you want to do with the reactor mission.

Fantastic! And we're playing this out in flashback series, correct?

@Prisk
Yeah I'm cool with Rockette's suggestion

@Rockette
And a flashback series will work, though I guess we will have to be careful to not have the flashbacks begin to bog us down too much or else the point of the restart/reboot/rewhateveryouwanttocallit kind of becomes nought. But I think we got this!

All right, the Reactor will be completed in a similar fashion but done under a collaborative effort between those that remain, so it'll be a "flashback collaboration" rather than a series of postings to fulfill it. That way none of you have to wait on us and we can write presently with the plot.

It's time that I let this die, permanently. The Spirits Within was a nice idea in the beginning, but I've been beating a dead horse ever since. I need to let it go, try something else, or quit roleplaying altogether. In the past few days, I've discovered that I absolute despise this roleplay.

I'm not going to blame anything or anyone. I just don't want to do this anymore. It stresses me out, makes me feel anxious, and a whole heap of other bad stuff, which I have no interest in dealing with.

So, thanks to everyone who participated. Apologies to those that arrived late. Big thanks to @Rockette for being so much better than me at everything that has to do with roleplaying. This would've died much sooner if it wasn't for you.

Lastly, anything you can find in this thread in terms of lore, ideas, or whatever, you are free to use for your own purposes.
