Meg saw the body before the strange doctor covered her with a thin white sheet. Her best friend laid there - she couldn't tell why. Last she'd noticed was Maria leaving the courthouse in the middle of chaos, but Meg never saw her till this very moment. Boy was she one hundred percent done with the apocalypse. Newnan lost way too many great individuals, Maria included - surely Lady Luck was gonna give them all a break for the next, I don't know, ten years?

But knowing luck, it was never on their side.

Sidd hadn't been as close to Maria as Meg had been - he'd barely known the Newnan Legolas other than through word of mouth. But of course, each death still dampened his mood, with every useful person dead, he was still alive. He nodded in Froggy's direction before letting go of his sister's body to approach him and Maria's body. It would be best if he would handle it instead of Meg.

He didn't hear when Kris had arrived, along with another woman laying on a gurney with a red head demanding attention. Focused on letting Kristina see her sister for the last time, he then let her cover the body. This was the closest he could get to letting the sister have peace, where the disposal of the dead bodies - the victims of the apocalypse - would possibly involve cremation when things were calmer to avoid the chances of loved ones coming back from the dead.

Meg certainly didn't recognise who the red-head was - and Meg knew a lot of faces, and part of her was vary. Was she another danger? Someone posing as a Newnanite? What the hell was going on? She leaned closer to Kris, avoiding Maria's body as she mumbled, "Who the hell is she? Do we even know her?" Meanwhile, Siddharth assisted Kris in carrying her sister out of the infirmary to make space for the people that were still alive. He figured Meg would help Froggy as the nurse, if he needed more help.

Jesus fuck.

That walker in the car? Fuck that guy. Davina's heart raced as she kept her eyes locked into the dead ones of the walker - a simple businesswoman, going by the looks of her rotten attire. She'd followed Tati around, keeping an eye on the surroundings as well as the dead woman in the car, lest she somehow decided to exit through the window or cause attention to fall on the two Russian girls. "Ve have enough," warily looking at the hoard that was slowly headed their way, she hurriedly followed behind Tatiana and shut the door behind her.

Now, that would've been a problem if there was a giant hoard waiting inside too, but if there were any- most would've come out at the sound of the spluttering engine. It was best not to leave it just to chance, though, Davi knew that. Instead, she hid her gun and pulled out her trusted hammer - a quiet way to go to so that the girls could go about their business gaining little attention from the dead.

"Use your knife and check left. I'll go right and we meet at middle, got it?" Divide and conquer, as they say. Davi trusted Tatiana enough that she wouldn't die while gathering supplies alone for a moment. Plus, it was a small enough store, the whole point was to minimise the time they spent holed up here while the approaching hoard outside got closer.

Davi would prefer not to be a sitting chicken, or however the fuck that saying went.

Standing at only 157cm (5'2") with somewhat chubbied cheeks and dimpled, cheeky grins, Eva is the personification of cute. From afar, her petite frame can easily be mistaken for a child, along with her rounded, youthful face that seems to glow no matter what. Evalyn's eyes are her favourite feature: almond shaped blue-grey eyes with flecks of green if seen up close, easily contrasting with her dark chocolate brown locks that fall in soft waves past her chest.

Eva's never seen in the same outfit twice. Being a rich, aspiring model, the girl hopes to keep up with the trends (by setting some herself) with the best of the best threads out in the market. She's always seen dressed up, no matter the occasion, and loves the attention that she gets from wearing the best clothes.

One way to describe Eva is that she's a "ball of sunshine". Quite literally. Evalyn is the soft, outgoing personality that always enjoys a good time and brightening the days of others. It's because of her bubbly personality she rarely struggles to make friends. Evalyn likes to believe she's a loyal friend, someone that'll stick behind you through thick and thin without any complaints. She's definitely a people person - she enjoys social interactions and will often be the one to chat about anything and everything, as if she's got endless topics to talk about within a given time. She's even helpful to a certain extent - she won't go out of her way to help someone that can't be helped, but if you ever need a listening ear, Eva doesn't mind shutting up for a minute to listen.

She's also been told that she gives good hugs.

Evalyn is an attention seeker. She likes being the centre of the crowd and always loves to be complimented - especially if it involves anything to do with her appearance or what she's wearing for the day. Evalyn is vain and cares about the way she's presented way more than she should. If she doesn't look good (in her own eyes), Evalyn fears that she'll be made into a laughing stock or not be taken seriously for it. Being a daddy's girl, Evalyn is also very spoilt. She sulks when she doesn't get what she wants and often times it can get really annoying.

After spending enough time with Alyssa, Eva's definitely taken on some of her bad traits. Evalyn can get quite judgemental, mainly when it comes to fashion choices (blame her mother here), but this is a trait Evalyn is actively trying to grow out of. She's also quite the doormat - easy to be used given the right circumstances. This is mainly exploited by Alyssa, something Evalyn hasn't quite figured out yet.

History:

Two very important things happened in the summer of '89; firstly, Arthur Jones and Joseph O'Connor meet after both running late to their first class of their college life; secondly Arthur and Joseph become best friends by that following week. It helped that they shared most of the classes, allowing them to get to know each other better throughout the course of the years at law school together. By the time they graduated, both Arthur and Joseph knew they were going to be business partners.

Together they set up O'Connor & Jones, specialising in Trademarking and Copyright laws. It was a rough start - who wanted to hire two kids fresh out of college? Even with the experience they had from college, it wasn't enough to assure potential clients that they were reliable lawyers. With very little clients came little money, and the two often struggled to keep their business afloat for the first year since setting up the law firm. Eventually they struck gold after a particular desperate client chose Arthur and Joseph to represent them against a copyright lawsuit. The client was ready to pay extra, and the two best friends won the case.

And from then on, it was a smooth ride.

For three years Arthur and Joseph worked together sucessfully, winning case after case and earning money in the thousands by the end of the case. Eventually Arthur settled down with his high school sweetheart, Eleanor Montgomery, following in the footsteps of his best friend who'd settled down with a wife of his own and the two family men couldn't be any more happier.

Evalyn Cara Jones was brought into the world on a cold February morning, an hour past Valentines Day and her parents were smitten. They spoiled their little girl, giving her the love, attention and any other materialistic item Evalyn needed before she'd even have to ask. Evalyn grew to be a daddy's girl, often waddling behind him and clinging to him with every opportunity she had. When Evalyn was four years of age, Eleanor started applying her into child beauty pageants and any modelling opportunity she could find. Eva, still too young to understand, would do whatever her mother asked of her - smile when she was asked, stand pretty and tall to impress the big adults. Everything. Evalyn's mother strived for nothing but the best, and she made sure Eva knew it. Eva had to be perfect in order to impress the judges, to be chosen into pageants and to win.

By the time Evalyn was five, she'd won three pageants and participated in numerous modelling gigs.

One day, Arthur and Joseph were called for an urgent meeting with no warning prior to the phone call. With so little time to look for an impromptu baby sitter, they were eventually convinced by their client (parents of their own little daughter barely ten years of age) to bring Evalyn and Bryant along with them and let the children be looked after by their Butler. It was the day Eva would forever remember as the juice box incident.

Ever since the juice box incident, the trio - Evalyn, Bryant (who preferred to be known as Connor) and now Alyssa Green were stuck to each other like glue. Despite the age difference between the children, they were still good friends. They hung around together, played together and explored together - and Evalyn couldn't be any more happier. By the time she was ten, her crush on Connor grew impossible to control and Alyssa had already taken her first kiss.

And now, Evalyn is starting her first year at Beverly Hills High with Connor as a Junior and Alyssa as a Senior at the same school.

The first thing someone notices about bubbly Anna is her sweet, dimpled smile. There's always a pearly grin on her face, always genuine and always kind to the reciever. It streches across her face, giving a certain brightness to Anna's face. Her eyes are of a light blue shade, close to the colour of ice but there's nothing cold to Anna at all. Instead, the smile acts as a way to bring a twinkle of mischief to her face. Anna's favourite features are definitely her eyes, making it the reason she heavily defines her eyes with a good layer of mascara and eyeliner. Her blonde hair passes her shoulder in soft, deliberately styled curls and her lips are a reddish-pink shade, always enhanced with a very thin layer of lip gloss.

Her body is on the smaller side - her bum, frame - everything. There's very little to Analise Arnette except for her breasts - but that's not something she discusses or showcase very often. Under her clothes lie a multitude of scars and marks. They're easily covered with her clothes, though. She doesn't have any tattoos on her skin either.

For the daughter of a successful actress, Analise dresses much simpler than expected. Sure, her closet has the designer brands and materials - but that's only because it's expected of her. To her it makes no different whether the clothes are from Target or Gucci, as long as Anna can comfortably survive the day in it. Typically Anna can be seen wearing stylish clothing such as a good dress or outfit, in varying shades of colours and brands. Analise is a very talkative and excitable person. She loves meeting new people and would try her hardest to be their friends. She's highly optimistic, preferring to see the world in rose-tinted glasses. This can easily translate to naivety, since she refuses to see the bad in other people, often resulting with her in a situation she doesn't want to be in.

There's a certain charm to Analise Arnette that one can't deny. She emits an aura of positivity and charm that pulls people in with one dimpled smile or a bat of her eyelashes. Now, Anna isn't the type to take advantage of this, hell - she doesn't even know she has this charm to her. Instead, Anna believes herself to be a kind individual that loves to make friends no matter your clique or social status. This over-friendliness can be considered annoying to those that don't like to be forced into social situations, or just don't like her overbearing happiness to everything.

Speaking of happiness, it looks like there's barely any bit of sadness in the bubbly blonde, and Anna definitely takes it as a compliment. No matter the situation, you can bet on Anna always thinking optimistically and for the good of others. However, Analise is quite naive to certain cues. She'll never understand whether she's wanted unless she's told so, and as mentioned above; her altruistic attitude often leads her into problems more often than not.

Analise loves to live in the moment. She photographs each sweet moment for memories, but each decision of hers is done last minute and often with little thought. However, Anna is quite the over-thinker when it comes to deciphering other people's motives and emotions and can spend hours trying to figure out whether someone hates her or not by just a cold glance. She's non-confrontational, and if her friends get into a situation where it comes down to fighting, Anna doesn't mind stepping so that no one gets hurt.

With Anna, you either love her for her genuinely sweet personality, or you hate her for her overbearing social naiveness.

History:

Born to an A-list actress, Georgina Arnette, and an author, Stephen Arnette, little Anna used to be in the media's attention daily. Georgina loved bringing her young daughter out into the public's view, loving how the media and public alike would melt at the mother-daughter duo. The young Arnette always got whatever she wanted, spoilt by both her parents and the media, Georgina and Stephen knew that their precious daughter would be loved by many.

Life changed for Analise at the age of five, when she was diagnosed with a severe case of cystic fibrosis - a genetic condition that caused a large amount of mucus to clog the lungs. The condition was incurable, and the doctors soon gave Analise a number, seventeen. They said that Analise would most likely only live up to the age of seventeen before succumbing to her ailment. It was then that her mother stopped bringing her out with her to the public, instead sheltering the little girl. Then, Analise never understood what was happening, to her it was like the attention had simply disappeared. The little one knew that something was wrong, but she could never point out what it was.

By the time she was ten years old, Analise had completely disappeared from the media's attention. Instead, Analise was constantly in and out of clinics and hospitals, her parents trying every treatment under the sun for her condition, even if none worked out. For her tenth birthday, Analise was finally told about her condition. The girl was given a camera, so she could document the rest of her life through photography. This is where Analise's love for photography came from. Analise decided then to try and live her life to her fullest, and took up yoga as a hobby to try and improve her physical health, while improving her photography skills.

With the help of medical advances and very overprotective parents, Anna lived past her expectancy despite the severity of her condition. While it still causes her a problem when when it comes to exercise or physical education, doctors are optimistic that as long as her condition doesn't spiral and cause any underlying issues to develop, Analise Arnette will be just as healthy as any normal person.

There was a loud laugh errupting from the inside of the red Ford Fiesta, the driver enjoying a nice ride through the somewhat empty roads with nice weather. Mariana rolled down the car window, leaning back comfortably against the cushions of the car with one hand firmly gripping the steering wheel while the other was used to gesture as she sung along to Halsey blaring through the almost busted radio.

It was a bright and wonderful, serving to only further Mariana's good mood as she approached closer and closer to Olympus Academy. She was officially starting her third year at the Academy for the children of the Gods, and she couldn't be any more excited for it. She'd always found the academy to be a positive place to have fun and relax as much as a place where she could safely practice her powers as a demi-goddess. Mariana wondered whether this year she was going to be able to see Apollo again. She'd barely seen him during her second year at the academy, and the times he had visited was always like a brief catch-up.

But Mariana never complained. He's a God, it was understandable, right?

The car slowed to a stop as she drove past the open gates of the academy, driving into the car-park before parking in her usual spot - the spot she'd claimed for the past year since she'd gotten a car. , the engine cutting with a low hum before complete silence. The car was definitely an old one, second hand with many scratches along it's dark red paint - a birthday gift for a girl turning eighteen. Despite the ruggedness, Mariana still loved it. It was her own, and something she'd cherish as a gift from her grandparents.

Gifts didn't come all that often in the Dixon household, mainly because of how little money there was in the first place. Both adults were retired citizens, who had no reason to be taking care of a teenaged girl, but here they were. To see the campus grounds so nearly empty surprised Mariana. After the day she'd had, she almost expected the campus to be filled with teens and young adults, ready to start the new academic year at Olympus Academy. Before leaving her car, she hunted for her phone in the little tote bag she had tucked away on the passenger seat beside her, pulling out her old phone to check for messages.

'Has he not even arrived yet?' She wondered. She had no idea when Laurel was planning on turning up - if he was planning to anytime soon.

Sending off the text, she tucked her phone back in before leaving with her bag and two cases filled to the brim with books and clothes. The apartment block looked like a disaster from the outside (so... bright...) but it had been her home for the last two years - and would be for years to come. Plus the rooms were much better anyway, they were spacious at least so even if you disliked your roomie it gave you a better chance to hide out most of the time.

Mariana dragged her case into the elevator, pressing the button leading to the fourth floor as she waited impatiently. She could only hope that she wasn't going to have someone she'd not get along with as a room-mate. That was the last thing she needed this year.

Ding!

The elevator doors opened and the first thing Mari did was approached the list of rooming assignments, anxiously checking through the list to find her name - "4-D... Vincent Monogan..." Poseidon's son? Okay, not bad. While she didn't know him, she hadn't heard anything bad, so it had to be okay right? Either way, she'd figure things out later whenever he arrived. Firstly, she had to choose the best room.
