"So, will you tell me what happened out here once you left with Ash?" Siddharth asked, curiously. It was probably a bad time, Meg still looked a bit shaken but not as ashen as she was before. It was probably best for her to talk about it, to get it out of her chest. He caught up with her stride till they were evenly paced, walking shoulder-to-shoulder (if you ignored the huge height difference) in the direction of the courthouse.
"What is there to know? Leann was shot down in front of me, Ash decided to try and get a group and make it to the armoury. Of course that fucked up; we lost three of them. Two new ones - a Marine and a scared guy who just... offed himself with a hammer... and Caesar." There was a pause from both parties; shock from Siddharth and a strange mix of guilt and grief from Meghna. "They were going to chow down on me, Caesar came like a hero. Killed them all only to end up being surrounded. He was bit but he still was able to lead the crew back to the armoury before..."
The rest was left in the air.
Sidd pulled an arm around his sister, taking in a shaky breath. This was a tough day on everyone - he couldn't imagine what it would be like in Ash's shoes now. Did he even want to? With that much pressure and responsibility to keep Newnan safe after such a tragedy, on top of his own grief for losing Alicia and Caesar, surely it was too much on the military man. It was both sad and admirable that Ash was still keeping his feelings in check, that he was still working for the better of Newnan than crumbling from the pressure and grief.
Sidd guided his sister into the courthouse, carefully guiding her through the hallways till they eventually stood outside the infirmary doors. They'd avoided the carnage outside, but the infirmary was probably even worse than it was outside. The twins took a breath to prepare themselves, before taking a step inside.
"Is there anything we can do?"
LOCATION – Carrollton, GA
A DMV? It was worth a shot. They were already so low on gas, they probably had only half hours worth of gas left, not long before the Russian duo would be ideal targets for raiders and the dead.
Davina nodded, looking once more in the direction of the map. Not too far from their current position, good enough for Davi. "How much vater left?" They needed to hit a good place - somewhere with enough food and water for them to last. Unfortunately each time they did find a good place (and it was usually always with another group), the joy would never last long. The camp would get raided, members killed or supplies used up straight away because of terrible planning and/or even worse rationing.
The car slowed as they reached the destination, the engine eventually cutting out to dead silence. Once again, the area looked safe from raiders, and possibly from walkers. But for how long? Davina checked out of the window, peering everywhere before leaving the car.
@Lady Amalthea I love how everyone (pretty much) has had a loss while I haven't yet. Seriously, Pimp Sidd lived longer than Caesar and Taco Belle, god damn.
Mari works, but she prefers Mariana - why butcher such a beautiful name? There isn't much reason to, but Hayley does work as a nickname - though Mariana only hears it when she's being scolded by her grandmother.
Birth Date:
4th September
Age:
19
Gender:
Female
Sexuality:
Heterosexual (possibly bi-curious)
In Depth Appearance:
Mariana stands at the average height of 1.71m (5'6") with creamy skin, rosy cheeks dotted with freckles across her forehead and upper arms. While lean, her body has a slight hour glass figure; sporting a small waist against her wider hips. The delicate curves are marred with stretch marks across her thighs and arms, something Mariana tries to cover up carefully with the help of appropriate clothes. She has no tattoos or permanent scars otherwise, leaving the rest of her skin a fair shade.
Her eyebrows catch the attention of many when one looks at her; rather than it being thin or delicately shaped like you'd expect from seeing women in magazines, they're thick and full with barely an arch framing her almond shaped eyes. Her eyes are a mix between a light brown, hazel and green - some would argue that it's a light brown while others would call her eyes green - it all depends on the lighting of the room. Her hair is somewhat frizzy and untamed, falling past her chest in messy, tangled waves. Her hair is of a brown shade, with hints of natural blonde highlights to add depth to the messy locks.
Despite being someone who tries to keep her appearance as neat and well put together as possible; her hair always tends to mess up the plans. Unless she straightens it (and who has time for that every morning?) or tied up into a bun or ponytail, there isn't much Mariana can do to tame her hair.
Clothing Style:
Mariana is a true Virgo. Born under the meticulous star-sign, Mariana pays careful attention to each clothing she wears. Nothing has dust, fur or is wrinkled. While it's not obsessive - if she or her clothes get dirty over the course of the day, she won't freak out as much as long as her clothing is salvagable. Mariana definitely likes to be pampered and prefers the branded clothing (possibly the materialistic side of her unfortunately inherited from her mother), Mariana sticks to swearing the comfortable and cheap threads.
The type of clothes, however, varies on her mood. While she doesn't have a huge closet filled to the brim with outfits, she does have enough to keep her well presentable no matter the occasion. Dresses, skirts, shorts, jeans - anything works well with Mariana as long as they're comfortable to wear (and practical too - you definitely won't see Mariana walking around in booty shorts in winter - though, power to the girls that do!) Her footwear is kept to the bare minimum; she only owns one pair of heels (nude pumps that match with everything, along with a couple flats and two old pairs of converses.
Make-up wise, Mariana keeps it simple. Why waste money on buying ten lipstick tubes of all the same colours? Concealer, some eye liner and maybe a swipe of tinted lip-balm to add a hint of colour to her already pale skin.
Quirks/Oddities/Habits
⛭ A common habit amongst many, but Mariana bites her lips and/or nails when she's nervous. ⛭ Mariana has the terrible habit of staying up much later than she should, even if she has to wake up early the following morning. You're more likely to get your room rearranged at 4AM than have her sound asleep in bed (unless she's completely knocked out from lack of sleep anyway, or with the help of sleeping pills). ⛭ Similar to the above point, Mariana likes to keep busy; whether this is in the form of procrastination (rearranging the bedroom like three times) or actually studying, it doesn't matter. Mariana even overworks herself in this state simply because she hates sitting idly. ⛭ Since childhood, Mariana has a habit of having porridge with a layer of Nutella and chopped bananas on top. The sweet, fattening topping is one way to keep her in a good mood for the rest of the day. That, and coffee.
Likes & Dislikes
✔ Swimming - Mariana enjoys swimming as a hobby, a way to work off anxiety or to shed the pounds she gains from her breakfast. ✔ Chocolate - if it wasn't obvious, Mariana loves chocolate. Bonus if it's milk or white chocolate though, as dark is a bit too bitter for her liking. ✔ The sound of rain hitting the window (especially if its a thunderstorm; the sound is comforting to her) ✔ Animals - Mariana is a huge animal lover, especially if it involves dogs ✔ Succeeding in whatever she's tasked to do (even if its not perfect) ✔ Stayng up to read creepy stuff or watch horror films. It's a guilty pleasure.
✘ Materialistic people (ironically) ✘ Having to repeat herself - or other people repeating themselves constantly ✘ Broccolis and cauliflowers - they just don't look or taste very appealing ✘ The strong smell of perfumes or industrial strength cleaning products ✘ Not being to help anyone out/not being useful
Fears:
⛤ Anything with more than four limbs; or basically the spider. ⛤ Fire - There's no traumatic reason behind this fear, but the nature of it frightens her. The uncontrollable and distructive nature of a flame, to be exact. ⛤ Being watched without her knowledge - This is more of an odd paranoia more than anything. You can blame the horror movies and freaky shit she reads on the internet at 4AM
Personality:
♦ Materialistic ♦ Goal-orientated ♦ Honest ♦ Social Butterfly ♦
There is not a single way to easily describe Mariana Dixon. She's a walking contradiction - but honestly who isn't? To some, Mariana can be sweet and a charm but to others she could be cool and uninterested. In some instances Mariana is an extrovert; happily chatting with people in groups and gladly basking in the attention while others she'd like nothing more to hide herself in her room for her own "me" time.
To keep it simple, Mariana enjoys social interactions. She's a friendly individual and strives to help people with their situation (whether it be as simple as a bad mood or complex like personal problems, Mariana will definitely try to help). She's altruistic; someone who is always concerned for the well being of her loved ones. There is no one clique you could put her in in high school; she would blend into the crowd and often interact with different people each day. However, this meant that while Mariana had multiple friends, she never had any close ones - people that she could trust with her secrets like people would do to her. She didn't mind though; her habit of bottling up negative emotions aiding her in this situation.
Whether it's a trait she's inherited from her father; Mariana will never know. She's brutally honest and appreciates the same honesty in return. She finds it pointless to lie, even if it's a simple one because she believes that it means you don't trust them. To sensitive people, she may actively try to sugar-coat her words, but her words are still the truth.
Mariana is also quite stubborn as she is goal-orientated. If she's given a task, Mariana will try her absolute hardest to accomplish it and will often stubbornly sit there trying to figure out the solution without asking for anyone else's aid. Her need to be independent forces her to not reach out to people when she requires help, a trait that Mariana knows is bad and is actively working on it by being more open to others.
Just like her father; Mariana is cursed when it comes to her love life. Sure, she's had far and plenty amorous relationships for her age but none of them have stuck. Whether it be because of her personality, insecurities or whether her partner had been unfaithful or simply lost interest in her, it seems that Mariana just won't be able to stick to one relationship for long before something going wrong. Plus, Mariana isn't much of a believer in love anyway; it's all just chemical processes in the brain to trigger affection and softness for others according to her.
Mariana (as mentioned before) hates materialistic people. It's a trait that she's not fond of as it bitterly reminds her of her absent mother. However, the irony is that Mariana is still materialistic herself. She loves branded clothes, the expensive items just for the sake of having them - it's a guilty pleasure of hers to own items she can showcase but her disciplined nature (and the not-so-affluent background) keeps her wants in check.
She also wants to impress Apollo. Most of what she does, she does with the intention to impress her father as well as to help others. After finding out who her father was, Mariana hopes to keep him in her life by becoming someone to be proud of - someone he can say with his chin held up high that Mariana is his daughter. This insecurity can also showcase in her relationships - she'll often try to impress them in hopes they'll think she's worthy enough to keep around.
Background:
For as long as Mariana could remember, it had been just her and her grandparents. Her mother was three states away burning through the little money she has while no one would tell her who her biological father was. One year they'd claim he was working abroad, then they'd claim he was dead - but they would never tell her who he was.
Mariana was born on a dark, cool September night to Samantha Dixon. Samantha was a young college drop out, living with her room-mates in a cheap trailer home and working at a diner to pay for the expensive clothes, booze and jewellery Samantha wanted. All Mariana knew about her mother was that she was irresponsible - the story that her grandparents have stuck to since the age of fourteen - and slept with a stranger in a drunken stupor. Either way, Mariana was barely three weeks old before she was swept away by her grandparents to live with them in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In the nineteen years she's been alive on this Earth, she's only seen her mother twice since moving in with her grandparents. The last time being when she was turning seven. Mariana doesn't hold much animosity towards her mother - she doesn't feel anything. Instead, she imagines that she has no mother and simply enjoys her life with her ageing grandparents. Despite the tensions between her and her parent, Mariana never felt the lack of love from her family.
Her grandparents were a big influence on her when growing up. Her grandfather (Papa) was a retired Army general, living with his wife (Nona) that was a retired florist in a modest home in the suburbs of the city. The locality was good for families, giving Mariana ample friends growing up (even if not many stuck by the time she was in High school). Her childhood friends even nicknamed her "sunshine" due to her ability to lift people's moods and doctoring some that would get minor injuries while playing. These tells weren't obvious; the healing didn't happen over night but it was enough for her grandparents to figure something out.
Their suspicions were confirmed years later during Mariana's graduation from high school. Mariana has always been an average student, if not above. With her dream to become a doctor, encouraged by her grandfather regularly, education was a priority (and still is) to Mariana so by the time she graduated with a 3.9 GPA, she was sure that they were proud. However, a visit from a man that looked eerily similar to her changed her world completely. Apollo approached his daughter that day, confirming their suspicions that their daughter wasn't entirely normal.
The following summer was spent by father and daughter bonding together. They watched movies, talked about Mariana's childhood and attempted spend as much time as they could together to make up for the lost years. Mariana was taught the basics about her ability; to heal and to affect others' moods - even prediction (even if that area needed some a lot of work). It was the summer she turned eighteen that she was enrolled into Olympus Academy, the school for demi-gods and goddesses to learn and control their abilities.
That was a year ago, and Mariana is still trying to adjust to her new life as a demi-goddess with the help of her father and the student/faculty members of Olympus Academy.
Family:
Samantha Dixon | 39 | Waitress at a diner is the extent Mariana knows Susan Dixon (nee Beaumont) | 64 | Retired (ex-Teacher) Ethan Dixon | 67 | Retired (ex-Police Officer)
Extra:
Hmmmmm Athena maybe?
Godly Parent:
Apollo, God of Truth, Prophecy and Healing
Relationship With Godly Parent:
Mariana's relationship with Apollo is still relatively new; she'd only found out about her Godly heritage about a year ago. They're still trying to work out the kinks in their relationship, figuring to boundaries and catching up on the long, missed years. Mariana hopes that Apollo is proud of her thus far, each action as an attempt to impress him.
Godly Abilities:
Doctor, Doctor
As expected of the daughter of the God of Healing, Mariana makes quite the doctor. The best way to describe her power is to say that she has some variation of the magical healing touch. This power is quite limited, however. Most she can do currently is heal bruises and scrapes; anything that requires an actual qualified doctor means that she won't be able to help out.
Uplift your spirits
To Mariana, the sunlight acts more as a metaphor to describe her personality (and thus this power as well). She's bright and cheerful, yes, but this sort of behaviour is almost described as infectious. She can help improve moods subconsciously; whether to help calm a scared child or to make a crying adult smile - it all works for Mariana. For the most part anyway. She cannot permanently help improve someone's moods, and someone can build up immunity to this the longer someone stays in her presence (though this can take up to a year, depending on how often you see Mariana).
That's so Mari~
Mariana can, to a certain extent, some events. Most of the time they're small predictions; nothing too life changing and this power is used rarely. Mariana cannot control this power, meaning that she cannot predict events for people she wants to. Out of the three abilities she's got, her prediction skills are definitely the weakest.

Curses, too slow for the Artemis Son spot, I suppose. I could do the Demeter Son slot but I'd prefer the Poseidon one.
@Aewin Can I sneak in there for the Poseidon son slot? It just works a lot better with the concept and faceclaim I have in mind. If not, that's fine, I'll try out the Demeter one.
I have no problem with it, I was contemplating retracting my interest for that slot because of IRL issues so go for it ^^
Tatiana slowly opened her eyes and glanced around, things seem quiet enough; which was a welcome relief. Her and Ivana had found an old boarded up house in some town known as Carrollton in West Georgia the day before. It seemed like they hadn't had been able to get a decent nights sleep in months, so when they found this place they decided to hunker down. The place looked to have been raided before but there were still a few cans of peaches they found hidden under a mattress on the second floor. After filtering out the water in the tank of one of the toilets they had sat down for peaches and water; it was a feast compared to most nights. It wasn't long under the doors were barricaded and they had crashed out upstairs in one of the bedrooms.
Tatiana groaned a little bit and rubbed her eyes as she rolled out of the bed and peaked out the window. It was mid-morning already. They would need to scavenge today and try to replenish some supplies. Things were getting low and they really needed some more gas for Davina's Chevy. "Davina, vstavay. Come on Davi, vstavay," Tati said as she kicked the mattress of the bed a few times.
"V minutu," there was a groan as the lump over the bed turned to it's side to swat away at whoever was kicking the mattress. There was no point anyway, Davina was already awake and the day was already bad. The dead were still walking, of course it was still bad.
But at least Lady Luck had been kind enough to give the girls a somewhat calm night in. After barricading the door, there was nothing that bothered them inside the ransacked home going by how well Davina slept for the first time in what felt like ever. Davina loved her car, but it wasn't the best for her or Tati's back. "I'm up," she grumbled as she stood up to walk off her grogginess. "Any bastards vaiting for us outside?" She asked Tati.
Tati shook her head a bit as she stood there. "Nyet, streets look pretty clear right now," she said as she picked up her pack and flopped down on the bed next to Davi and pulled out a couple of water bottles and another can of peaches from the raid of the house the night before. Setting a bottle down next to Davi she pulled out her knife and started to pick at the can until she was able to get it open. Stabbing one of the slices with the tip of her blade she pulled it out and shoved it into her mouth before handing the can over to Davi.
"MmmWEnomnomNEEDnomnomTOnomnomGOnomnomSCAVAGINGnomnomnom," Tati said with a giggle as she tried to talk with her mouth full of peach. Wasn't everyday they got to wake up in a bed much less actually have a little something to eat in the morning. The fact they both this morning had put Tati in a much better mood than she had been over the last few weeks.
Well at least someone was happy, going by how Tati was giggling while shoving the canned peaches into her mouth. Davina took a couple of the peaches from the offered can, copying Tatiana by using her own blade to slice open the peach to devour the fruit before taking a small gulp of water down her parched throat.
It took a moment for Davi to decipher Tati's words, "I saw--a trail--on our vay-- to this pla--ce." she responded in the midst of her own chewing, wiping her mouth with the sleeve of her jacket before standing up and taking another gulp from her bottle.
"Vanna see where that leads?" For all they knew, it could lead to a goldmine. Downing some more of the water and finishing chewing the peach in her mouth Tati swallowed and packed up her gear. "Da, sounds good to me," she said as she hefted the pack onto her back. "Let's grab the gas can out of the back of the truck before we head out. Least we know we can fall back here if shit gets bad."
Turning she headed down the stairs, climbing over the couch they had used to block any deadies from getting upstairs of they managed to get in while they were sleeping. As she reached the door she slow slid the table to one side and pulled out her hunting knife, waiting for Davi to take point like she normally did. Time to get to work.
"I agree. Best place I've been to since the damn apocalypse started." And there was no exaggeration in her tired voice, instead Davi followed behind Tati cautiously, climbing over the collapsed barricade of a couch towards the front door. She pulled her weapon out of her jeans waistband, clicking off the safety switch before looking over at Tati to make sure she was ready.
Carefully, Davina unlocked the door and slowly opened it, peeking her head out ever so slightly while holding her breath as she scanned the front lawn for any dead surprises. Tati stepped out the door slowly and pulled it shut as she looked around, slowly moving a chair in front of the door to barricade it; more for show than anything. It would be simple enough to move if shit hit the fan and they had to book it back here.
"Davay poshli." Davina muttered under her breath as she saw nothing outside. It was only a matter of time, and it was quite possible that the fuckers were just hiding around. Tati's fingers flexed over the handle of her knife as she started to move from the porch and out into the street. Things seemed pretty quiet out there but that didn't mean that it would stay that way.
"There vas that repair shop by the tracks. Maybe ve start there and see if ve can siphon some gas?" she asked as she glanced towards Davi.
"Maybe, let's just try and get into ze car vithout losing an arm first." Davi peered around, her hand gripping tightly on her gun with her finger ready on the trigger as they headed towards the car. Looking over to the left, she noticed a couple crawlers heading their way towards them with enough distance between the two to not warrant as much worry. Still.
"Look out, ve might have some trouble."
Tati looked over towards the Crawlers coming their way and nodded slightly as she tightened her grip on her hunting knife. "You get car started, I got them. No gun, don't vant to attract more," Tati said as she started walking towards the Crawlers, circling around to one side as she hunched down. One at a time, that was the plan.
"Ve don't need to attack. Don't risk it unnecessarily." As long as the walkers didn't get too close, there was no need to attack and risk getting hurt. Last thing Davi wanted was to haul Tati's injured ass around after such a good night's sleep. Davi tiptoed towards the car, her eye keeping track of the upcoming walkers while she unlocked her car. Tati glanced over to her and nodded, she was right. It wasn't worth the effort right then. Slowly stepping away she started to make make her way slowly towards the car.
She slid inside, and winced as the engine let out a loud splutter as the car kickstarted back to life. "Shit. Come on Tati, we don't hav' time." Tati's eyes darted towards the car and then back over towards the walkers, three more coming out of the bushes.
"Der'mo!" she grunted quietly before she sprinted to the car and jumped in; pulling the door shut quickly. "Let's get out of here," she grumbled as the walkers started to come more and more out of the wood work as it were towards them, the sound of the engine drawing their attention.
Davi didn't need to be told twice. She changed the gears and slammed on the pedal, the car lurching forwards as they peeled out of the driveway and onto the road. The sound attracted the walkers and some extra crawlers; their dead moans still slipping through the closed windows and into Davina's ears. Tati reaching up and grabbing what was lovingly referred to as the Oh Shit bar and held on as they drove off from the on coming crawlers.
"Blyad', that vas a close one." Davi tightened her grip on the steering wheel, her knuckles turning white. Taking a deep breath she sheathed her hunting knife and reached over to Davi, placing her hand on her thigh and giving a gentle squeeze.
"We're good, breath Davi," she said in a reassuring voice as she patted her leg and then pulled back, pushing her hair out her face as she looked out the back window as the crawlers got further and further away. "Vell, I'm awake now."
"Vhy do I think that things are about to become shittier?" It was a rhethorical question, but it was a nagging feeling in the pit of her stomach ever since Davina slid into her car. Maybe she was right and things were about to become worse, or maybe she was just paranoid.
Who knows in this godforsaken world?
vstavay - wake up V minutu = in a minute Nyet - No Da - Yes Davay poshli = Come on, let's go Der'mo - Shit Blyad = Fuck
LOCATION - ALLEYWAY, HEADED TOWARDS COURTHOUSE & INFIRMARY
The moment was sweet while it lasted, but Meghna knew that there was still work to be done. Things were still needing to be cleared out, people to help. Ash still most likely needed support, or Vivian in the infirmary - she was sure that people were possibly crowding the poor lady for medical attention.
"Come on, before we're kicked out of Newnan for being lazy it's best if we go find Ash or Viv." Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Sidd stiffen at the mention of Vivian's name. She looked over her shoulder, an eyebrow raised. "What?"
"She's dead. She was shot during the invasion." Meg saw the guilt in his eyes, and she shut her eyes for a moment to send a prayer up (or down) to wherever the woman was. Not only Leanne and Caesar, but now they lost their medical expert? Newnan had no hope-
"There's someone else. He came with the new crowd you lot brought in on your expedition. He's dealing with the injured." Well, that was certainly a relief. But was he really to be trusted? What if he was stealing what little resources they had left? Meghna made a face, motioning Sidd to follow her as she made her way to the infirmary to provide any help she could. Hell, even if she and Sidd weren't welcome in the infirmary, there could be someone that the twins could be useful to.
The sound of crashing followed the cry, disrupting the once peaceful and serene atmosphere of the dorm room. A head poked out from the doorway, her hair a wild mess and a frown on her face as she called, "sorry!" to anyone that could have been in the general vicinity. Mariana Dixon had arrived to the academy not too long ago, but early enough to be one of the lucky ones to claim the room she wanted in her dorm with no one to complain against her decision. Yet.
Olympus Academy was her home now, for the second time in many years to come. She'd been a late-comer, arriving the summer after graduating High School and to catch up on the things she'd missed, the Professors had decided it was best for Mariana to start from the beginning despite being late. She'd found friends and settled down relatively quickly into her new life as the daughter of a God in a Academy way too similar to Hogwarts.
The room itself was still pretty bare, four walls with a table on one side and the bed pushed against the other wall with a window that let just enough sunlight to give the room some natural light and a small drawer for extra storage. Mariana seated herself on her newly made bed, looking at her heavy suitcase with a wary look on her face. She'd tried to keep most of her items to that one suitcase and two duffel bags, but the suitcase was most definitely over-packed.
'Maybe it was unnecessary to pack that many books...'
At least half of her suitcase was taken up by books - both fictional and text books - for her to read during her down time. What else was she supposed to do when there was nothing horrifying to watch at night? That logic convinced her last night while she was packing, and now she cursed her decision to cram most of her bookshelf into her suitcase. She'd already unpacked her duffel bags, her clothes hanging in the small closet or tucked away neatly in their appropriate drawers with the bags tossed away in the corner of the room.
'Come on, up you get. Still got some more unpacking to do...'
The brunette stood up, approaching her still collapsed luggage with a somewhat determined look on her face.

There wasn't much she was expecting that evening. The entire student population seemed to be infected with the school spirit, something Georgina didn't share as passionately as some she knew, and the highlight of it all? The Homecoming dance. Not as important as prom, but anybody that was a somebody in this godforsaken school was going whether they liked it or not - whether for purely fun intentions or to keep up appearances is a whole new issue altogether.
Georgina had spent the afternoon at home, taking a long deserved break from the Pet Inn in what felt like years. Don't get me wrong, Geo's a complete nut for animals, and she's always up for taking care of them, but sometimes a girl's just gotta relax right? So here she was, lounging in a high waisted skirt that reached halfway between her thighs ("hey, I finally got the chance to shave her legs so why not show them off?") along with a black tank that had been tucked into the plaid skirt. Her blue hair was messily tied away from her face as she stared up at the TV screen hanging over the fireplace when she was disturbed by the ringing doorbell.
Georgina stood up, dusting her skirt as she shuffled towards the front door in her super fluffy slippers, opening the door only to find her crush best friend on the other side. "Skater boy? What're you doing here?" Definitely surprised, she wasn't expecting to be attacked by a large stack of paper hastily thrown by David.
Geo peered down at the stack, her eyes checking through each sheet that contained a comic drawing of what looked like Geo in the Cinderella scene where she was surprised by her animal friends with a dress to the ball. It was cute and charming, with guest appearances by Analise's dog and Davy's Sprinkles - and a couple other pets she recognised from looking after them at the Pet Inn.
"Davy what is this?" She mumbled, slowly realising what it meant. The appearance of Davy in a tux (in the drawing, Davy would probably never do such a thing in reality) and a small little question at the bottom with two boxes below.
This was a homecoming proposal, from David Powers. Geo almost fainted in shock. This was the last thing she expected. Davy wasn't the sort to be interested in these dances and social activities, then why this? Still, Georgina didn't voice her question but instead leapt forward to pull her best friend into a hug. "Yeah you dolt, I'll go with you." She pulled away from the hug, looking at his attire then back at her own.
"Do you want me to change out of this?" Probably not, but it didn't hurt to ask.
LOCATION - Arnette Home INTERACTING WITH - Jackson @Wintergrey OUTFIT
Analise definitely did not expect to almost choke her boyfriend at her appearance. Surely she didn't look that good! Her cheeks flushed red at his compliment - a fiery red that not even the darkness could hide, how embarrassing! - and grew impossibly darker as Jackson stalked towards her (with an almost hilarious stumble) before cupping her cheek to pull her into a passionate kiss.
...Right in front of her house...
...Where her mother was probably looking right outside the window.
When Jackson pulled away, she felt breathless. Her hand had reached to his shoulder without her even realising sometime during the kiss, her other curled into his jacket to keep her stable against him. Anna let out a breathless laugh. "If I had known you'd like this dress, I would've asked for it sooner." Anna said before lacing their fingers together. "You really look like a Prince right now," She let out a shy giggle as she nodded towards his attire. Definitely Disney worthy.
"Come on, I don't want to get too late for Homecoming." She used their intwined hands to tug him away from her doorstep and to drag him down towards the car she hired for the night. During the entire car ride, Anna had her head burrowed comfortably in the junction between Jackson's neck and shoulder, playing with their fingers with a soft (but satisfied) grin on her face.
"I think tonight's going to be great." Anna realised a bit too late she'd spoken her thoughts aloud. It was the truth; Analise was sure that she was going to have a great time with Jackson. Just as she opened her mouth to continue, the hired car stopped in front of the school.
"Oh! We're here!" Excitement bubbled up in the blonde once more, and she shot Jackson another wide smile.
