The daughter of Aphrodite is but of course a natural beauty. Her oval shaped head that also has light pink lips. Her lips are medium sized and dimples are seen whenever she smiles brightly. Birdie's eyes can appear a grayish blue at times and a brighter, ocean blue at other times. On rare occasions, they look purple. Her eyes twinkle like stars. She has dark brown hair that has a few darker streaks. Her hair has naturally beachy waves that she doesn't really like to apply heat to since it's unhealthy and makes her hair feel damaged afterwards. Her height is 5'7 and is just above average. A slender body but she does have muscle. She doesn't apply much makeup besides a little eye makeup and lip gloss. Not that she really needs it. Also, on the back of her neck is a Jonquil flower.

Clothing Style:
Birdie usually wears strictly black and white. Boring yes but oh well. On occasion she does wear silver or gold though. Birdie loves proper clothes. She will not wear anything that is pink due to the fact that she heard they were colors that represent Aphrodite. Due to her genes, however, she is a fashionista. It isn't even on purpose but when you're the daughter of Aphrodite, you cannot handle a bad coordinate. Her outfits are practically always on point.

What would you expect the daughter of a goddess such as Aphrodite to be like? The goddess of love, beauty, pleasure, and procreation. Would you expect a flirty nature and undeniable charm? An urge for romance as she searches for love? Beauty which she flaunts for all to see? A kind and giving heart as she walks with elegance? Flirty, no but she does indeed have charm.

Birdie can come off as a person that doesn't want to get to know you. Proper and organized is what she is. She is a sweetheart but she's a sweet heart that has a hard time with people. Birdie has an enormous wall around her that is thick and tall. Her relationship with trust is thin and merely there. Upon meeting someone, she will not speak much. It's that second meeting that means something. Her first meetings usually go fine but she just doesn't know what to expect of those around her. Birdie, a girl that can seem rather haughty but that isn't quite true. She actually has rather low self confidence on the inside. Birdie has always known that the confident and prideful like to feed on the weak. She knows that she does not like to be stuck up but she will put up a farce in order to not have to deal with certain things. When you get to know her, you would be surprised at some of the things that come out of her mouth. At times they can be cruel but at other times they can be extremely sweet.

She has always been one to be straightforward. If she thinks of someone as a friend, they'll know to the point of twisting that affection and thinking of it as romantic love. She will be loyal to them and help them in their time in need. Keep in mind though that she is blunt and she usually won't sugarcoat things. When it comes to love, besides her power, she has no idea about her own. However, Birdie is a romantic. She loves those romantic stories but she knows that they aren't real and she will never expect it to happen to her. 2 things that she has always been interested in are stars and flowers. She knows pretty much every star name, constellation, and flower out there. Ever since she was young she was obsessed with them.

Birdie, if you haven't noticed, likes to do what she wants. She isn't a "bad girl" rebel or anything but she won't be following any crowds and don't worry about peer pressure. Birdie just wants to do as she does and drift through life.





Background:

Little miss Birdie. Little miss Birdie's father was just a plain man that happened to have extremely good looks and was good at wooing ladies. Something he was not, however, was well off financially and mentally. Her father and Aphrodite had met by chance one day at a nice restaurant. Her father had just finished off a date and he encountered a beauty that looked like a goddess and evidently, was one. He automatically fell for her. His deep affection started with a little bit of stalking. Just to get some information before he finally went for it and asked her out. He had on his only expensive outfit and a bouquet of roses. Aphrodite said yes, of course, as vulnerable to such a gesture. And later they had Birdie. But not before Aphrodite found out the truth. That the man she had slept with was a poor, unfortunate soul. He had no money and there was no way that she would be taking care of a child that was from a bad upbringing. Even though her father spent some of the only money he had left on her, it was no good. One day, she was just gone. Poof.

With Aphrodite gone, her father was left with Birdie. A name he had given her 1 month after she was gone. He had seen a Great Spotted Woodpecker outside when he was walking in a forest in his home in Europe. Have you ever seen a Great Spotted Woodpecker? It's so simple yet so beautiful. 3 different colors that all meant something very specific to him. Red, a representation of burning passion. Desire. Love. Black, a color that supposedly associates with fear and the unknown. Because what does mankind fear more than the unknown? And white. White is so simple. A sheet of paper can represent purity. It can represent a successful beginning. That was why he named her Birdie and 10 years later, he put a collar around her neck that said so before leaving her in front of an orphanage in the rain at 10 years old.

At 10 years old, Birdie was a girl that rarely ever showed any expression on her face. A smile was never there and her eyes seemed lifeless. Her father had somewhat taken care of her for 10 whole years. Of course, he was filled with a small amount of love for her and her doll like face didn't help that it reminded him of her mother. Birdie's father would often come home drunk and at times he would get violent. Nothing too bad but just enough. However, Birdie had realized something. No matter the pain, she couldn't feel it. She couldn't feel it even if it left a mark and that scared her, usually causing her to cry from that rather than from pain. She would later find out that she had a case of congenital analgesia. This scared her because as a child, her heart was practically empty. She help little to no love for her father and her mother was just a whore she had heard stories about. She didn't feel sad about her situation but she didn't feel happy either. She just felt... unlucky.

The orphanage was a decent place. The mothers there were about as kind as they could be and the kids weren't of importance to her. She just stayed away from them for the most part. When she was 12 years old, she was adopted by an old couple that were both in their 60's and 70's. Sweet people they were and on the verge of death as well. The couple had longed for children for as long as they could remember. They already had one child that was 14 when she came into the family. A conceited and annoying teenager that wasn't a fan of Birdie at first. They had a young child of 10 years of age but he died from cancer 3 years before they adopted Birdie. So there she was with a new brother and a new set of parents.

Birdie had finally found that something that she was missing. That void in her heart had been filled. Her parents were very well off. They were even considered filthy rich by the size of their home. She took care of them as much as she could and they did the same. Her brother, Allen, wasn't easy to deal with. As they got older, he got even more irritating. A pervert and a brat is what he was. One night he had sneaked into her room when she was 13 and he was 15. What he attempted to do, she'll never know but she hit him as hard as she could, knocking him over and causing him to hit the size of the bed. He was in a coma for a little over 2 months. Birdie felt nothing but guilt and shame. She couldn't feel pain so she would never know how it felt when she hit him. After that, her brother held a grudge against her.

Birdie felt immense guilt and shame. She always felt like her parents wouldn't love her as much even though they said that they had forgiven her. She just couldn't feel right and always wanted to make up for it. So, she got straight A's throughout school, began to learn the violin, and joined a self defense class since her parents felt that she needed to be able to protect herself without killing anyone. Birdie had all this strength that she was practically afraid to use. And she had something else that she didn't have any idea she had.

As Aphrodite's daughter, she obviously had powers. Powers that she didn't know she had. It was at 16 in high school when she met a guy. This guy was like her biological father. He didn't know of limits. He constantly came to pursue her and Birdie was frustrated. At one point, she accidentally used her charm-speak to tell him to go and die. This wouldn't have worked if he wasn't in love with her but he was. The next day, he was found dead in his bedroom and holding a gun. That was when Aphrodite came into her life.

Aphrodite knew that she needed help. She told her that she was to go to Olympus Academy but Birdie refused, saying that she wanted nothing to do with her. However, after Aphrodite had explained, she then decided that she had to listen. She needed to figure out how to use these powers. So far, she has had a pretty good school life.

When combed and nourished with oils, it looks like whipped chocolate. His hairline is always immaculate, mostly because he’s his own barber. He wouldn’t dare trust some amateur, touching his hair. His eyes are a bluish-grey and his skin without blemish—the finest cream. Preston always likes to dress his best, wearing clothes from suits to fancy sweaters. His figure is rather thin and lean. He stands 5’10” and weighs 165 lbs. He works out mostly to look good for his self-expectations are through the roof.

Personality:

The Son of Hera is quite the character. His arrogance has no peak, but unlike most assholes, he can actually back it up. Hera raised him to be the best and so he strives to always be above others. Some people loathe this characteristic about him, while others pay him no mind. There are a unique few who can tolerate his pompous behavior, and usually those people either: a) have a sense of humor, b) look up to him (as they should), or c) have a tough skin. Sensitive people will have their emotions exploited by Preston. His words can be rather cutting.

Now, after reading this, some people are expecting a braggart. No…not entirely. Preston doesn’t usually have to announce how great he is for most can see it in his looks, how he carries himself, and his scores. He does his best and that should be admirable enough.

While at Olympus Academy, Preston has set himself up a nice counseling business where he will listen to the relationship problems of others. He likes to know when a couple plans to get married, and he does his best to help couples facing discord to resolve their problems so that they can stay together. He highly frowns upon divorce and breakups for the wrong reason, and even more so on sexual assault. For a special fee, demigods can pay him to take out those mortals or other demigods who have wronged them. Good or evil; it depends on how one looks at it.

Preston actually has a personality disorder where he can harm and murder others without feeling a hint of regret. People who tend to consult that side of him are wanting that person who hurt them to disappear, and he will gladly make that happen if one were wronged.

Background:
Okay, wait, I’m telling this story. Once upon a time, my rich asshole of a father met my cold bitch of a mother at a banquet in Manchester, England, and then I was born! Heh, if it was that simple of a story. Their relationship is a complicated one. It even confuses me sometimes. My father is named, Richard James (see where I got my middle name?) McTavish, and he’s a pretty famous entrepreneur. He’s basically paid to travel and solve simple problems involving organization and talent management in corporations. My mother, well, she was drawn to him by accident but she says that my father radiated in the room and that she couldn’t resist a dance with him. They danced and lingered in each other’s company, and not once did they say anything kind to one another. It was a battle of wits or perhaps that was how it appeared to everyone else. The two were practically randy for each other and every time mother comes to visit, the room tends to get a little warmer.

I was told that while mother was pregnant with me, she left my father alone to lay in Zeus’s presence, harassing him with her swollen womb. Hm…I suppose I’m lucky to be alive. She eventually gave birth to me and carried me between the mortal realm and Olympus, flaunting me to the other members of the dodekatheon. I grew up with the silver spoon in my mouth as they say or fortunate that my mother was one of the most influential goddesses in the universe.

I was home schooled for most of my education for my mother feared my powers affecting the other children. I almost didn’t get to attend Olympus Academy because my father was so intrigued by my gifts that he wanted to use me for his business. I would have had a full-time professional job, and I wouldn’t have to get a degree. Sighs…Hera refused, and forced me to go to this school of demigod idiots, promising me that I’ll learn something. We will see. Maybe this school will be amusing.

Hera loves her son, and is actually pleased that he turned out looking better than her last son *coughshephaestuscoughs* Because of this, she absolutely spoils Preston. Since he enrolled in Olympus Academy, he hasn’t seen her around as much, but he knows that when he returns home for the summer breaks, Hera is always eager to hear about her son’s time at school.

Emotion Embodiment: Preston has the ability to become the physical manifestation of his emotions, and gains the ability to influence his represented emotion:

• Envy – He becomes the embodiment of envy/jealousy and gains power from envy of others and oneself. He can use envy as a power source to extend his lifespan until his envy is satisfied or use it as a weapon. He can use this power to get what he wants or kill others in order to take what he wants. Limit: Preston can only use this power while jealous. The power granted by Envy embodiment is listed as a subparagraph beneath this one.
  
  • Curse Inducement – Like his queen mother, when jealous, Preston can place a curse on whatever he wishes (people, places, objects, etc.). The exact effects can be nearly anything the user desires, ranging from minor annoyances to torturously extended death. Most common effects are misfortune/bad luck, various sicknesses, infertility, physical defects/ugliness, etc. Limit: Preston can only use this power while jealous. | Cure: Preston is the only one who can remove his hexes on others, and it requires him to be able to forgive the afflicted person, which requires much persuasion.
• Vengeance/Revenge Empowerment – Preston can become an embodiment of vengeance, often gaining power from the vengeful feelings of both himself and others around him. This power empowers him, making him stronger, faster, more durable, et al; from vengeance of oneself and others. This power allows him to unlock abilities related to the affinity and enhance his existing powers. This power is most effective during incidents of humiliation or defeat. If Preston was defeated by an enemy or enemies, his vengeance will kick in, restoring him back to optimum health with his boosted strength brought on by his revenge empowerment. Limit: Preston can only use this power only when desiring vengeance/revenge for a crime committed against him or others.

Persuasion: Preston can compel people by speaking, the victims are unable to disobey; the seemingly cogent commandment is far too compelling. This power has grown stronger since attending Olympus Academy to the point where he can persuade people into hurting/killing themselves or even flip around their sense of logic, but can never cause victims to achieve what they are not naturally (to include supernaturally) capable of. For example, if mortals naturally do not fly, then he cannot compel a human to fly. If a being is a fire elemental, he cannot make the fire elemental use ice. Preston calls his ability Mesmer for when he uses the ability his tone of voice changes, and those under its influence are unable to detect it. When he uses his speech craft, his voice bears an eldritch resonance that can easily reverberate and slip into the conscious of others, seemingly hypnotizing them. Most don’t know that they’re being affected until after they completed the implanted mission. Limit(s): Preston must be able to speak to control people and subjects must be able to understand and hear his commands; someone with high intelligence or super intelligence can be resistant to it; someone with ridiculously low intellect to the point where one is too stupid to grasp Preston’s meanings are also resistant to it; complex commands may be less effective than simple commands; and anything that prevents the user from speaking or hearing barriers such as walls or headphones can block this power.

• Mental Shield Penetration – Hera’s powers were strong enough to even manipulate Zeus. Webster - Everyone, and I mean everyone, calls him this. It originated in the first grade, when his near encyclopedic knowledge lead to the bullies calling him "Dictionary." He would go on to tell them that calling him Webster made a lot more sense, and sounded much less stupid, and so everyone, other than his parents, call him this, and it's how he introduces himself.

JJ - When he was younger, his parents called him JJ, shorthand for Johnathan Junior. His mother and father will still call him this from time to time, but none of his friends know about it, and he hates being called it.

In Depth Appearance:
Webster is tall and lanky, standing at about 6 feet and weighing in at around 160 pounds, all of which he would like you to believe is pure unadulterated muscle. Really it's the opposite, as Webster hates exercise with a passion, and as such, his muscles are minimally toned, and His dirty blonde hair is kept styled up out of his eyes, with more hair product than he would really care to admit. His eyes are a stormy grey, and have a look to them that makes it seem as if Webster's thoughts are elsewhere. Webster's mouth is always turned up in a smirk, one that almost makes him look like he's up to something, but also makes him seem much more friendly, despite his complete ineptitude in social situations involving strangers. While he's tried hard to grow a beard, he can't seem to get past a light stubble, and so he keeps his face clean shaven as much as he can, although it isn't totally unheard of for him to get so wrapped up in a project that he forgets to shave for a few days. His skin is a clear and cream colored, and try as he might, he can't get a tan to save his life.

Clothing Style:
Webster most certainly does not dress to impress, despite his upbringing in a wealthy household. He wears flannels and band tees, beat up Converse and torn skinny jeans, and that's on a day when he's actually trying. On a lazy day, he opts for a tee shirt and sweats, though his Converse are his go to shoes. However, when he does want to clean up, he cleans up well, a result of his upbringing in a well off household. He prefers to wear blues or greys, and blacks aren't uncommon for him as well.

Personality:

Webster is a genius before he is anything else. Remarkably intelligent and resourceful, his brains are almost always the first thing people notice about him, a side effect of the unnecessarily large words that he'll sometimes use in conversations. This intelligence kept him out of many social circles as a kid, and left him a rather awkward character. While he acts perfectly fine around his friends, girls that he likes seem to be his biggest weakness, and practically any stranger will have him stumbling over his words. But, despite showing off his intelligence like a medal of honor, Webster is at his core, a caring and supportive friend, who'd do anything for those he cares for.

But, just like everyone else, Webster has a dark side. His IQ has left him arrogant, and he's always confident that he's the smartest person in the room. This arrogance is truly just a mask for his insecurity, the insecurity that's gripped him ever since he was a child. Always wanting to be the best left him fearing he was always second or third best. He can be remarkably sarcastic as well due to his lack of verbal filter, and to those who know him, they know he's just joking, but to those who're just meeting him, he can come off as rude.

Background:
Johnathan O'Connor was a new history professor at Stanford when he met the young, lovely, Aliane Corvus. Well, that's what she said her name was. In truth, she was the goddess of wisdom, Athena, and she'd taken a liking to the professor. Their whirlwind romance culminated in an engagement, a marriage, and a pregnancy, all within seven months. After Webster was born, Athena revealed herself to her husband, and their relationship soon crumbled. Johnathan couldn't seem to handle being with an immortal goddess and this drove a wedge between the two.

From birth, Webster, then Johnathan Jr, was expected to be great. His father wouldn't have anything else. "O'Connors are great," he would say to a young Webster, who would simply look up into his fathers eyes and gurgle, as infants tend to do. And Webster did become great. At the age of five he was reading full on chapter books, and using words far beyond the normal comprehension of a kindergartner. Of course, his father knew where this was coming from, but he refused to tell Webster anything.

From that point on, Webster was enrolled in private lessons after school. He was taught to play the piano, speak Spanish, German and French, and he even dabbled in the violin. His father always made sure he had something to do, and as he got older he desired rebellion more than anything, an escape from the life. And that day came when Mommy Dearest knocked on his door.

When Webster was just fifteen his mother showed up and explained away all the mysteries of his life, such as why his parents had split, and just who his mother really was. He was shocked to say the least, but when his mother suggested he be sent to Olympus Academy, and he's been there ever since, refusing to go home, even for the holidays.

Webster has only met Athena a few times, and so their relationship is strained at best. He resents her for never getting in contact with him as a child, but she is trying to build a relationship with him.

Godly Abilities:
Master Strategist - While Webster lacks confidence everywhere else, when it comes to strategy he is always on top, thanks to his mother. He is able to analyze a situation and figure out the best way to maneuver through it, and while his plans are sometimes failures, they are more often than not, successes.

Can We Build It? Yes We Can! - Webster is a skilled architect and can even understand the layout of a building simply by touching it, due to his mother's status as a patron of architects. When he's touching a building, the blueprints appear in his head and he can study them for as long as he has contact.

Care To Duel? - While many forget Athena's status as a goddess of war, her gifts in warfare have given Webster prominent skills with a sword, and his ability to analyze a situation make him a dangerous opponent.

Crafts! - To go along with his skills with architecture, Webster is a gifted engineer and is always working on different gadgets. While he may not be as gifted an inventor as a child of Hephaestus, given time, he could become a force to be reckoned with.

In Depth Appearance:
Tess is a pretty girl, that much is certain. Her red hair falls to just below her shoulders, and shapes her face almost perfectly. Living in an area where it's snowing most of the year has left her with ivory skin, though she also suspects that this is thanks to her mother. She's not particularly tall, only standing at about 5'6, and weighing in at about 135 pounds. Years on the track and field team have left her with toned arms and legs. She doesn't where too much makeup, eye shadow and lipstick most of the time but that's really where she draws the line. Her eyes are a brilliant green, and many a boy has compared them to tiny emeralds, which never ceases to make her laugh, inviting the two dimples in her cheeks to come out.

Clothing Style:
Tess dresses rather conservatively compared to many other girls she knows. She prefers pants and over sized sweatshirts, to anything that shows of a lot of skin, although in the summer time, you'll often catch her walking around in shorts and a tank top. To many, Tess seems like she has enough pep that nothing could keep her down. She's always got a smile on her face, and is easily one of the friendliest people at the academy, always being the first to greet someone. She's a loyal friend, who would stop at nothing to aid those in need. She's an adventurous girl, and if you're close with her, count on being dragged along on some sort of escapade, into the woods or on some sort of scavenger hunt. Tess has a way of making a dull day seem impossibly fun. But enemies of Tess beware. Her fuse is short, and her penchant for melodrama makes her seem like a nuclear explosion when things piss her off. And as much as she cares for her friends, it's not uncommon for her to focus a little to much on herself, and forget to acknowledge her friend's problems.

Background:
Harrison Galloway was dumbstruck when he met Tess' mother. The goddess Artemis had appeared to him as a feisty red head, who loved to hunt. The two soon fell deeply in love, and within a year of meeting one another, they were married. After the wedding, Artemis revealed who she was to Harrison, but he couldn't have cared less. He was with the woman he loved, and that was all that mattered.

Tess was born the next year, and she lived a relatively normal life, at least early on. Her mother was around for quite a bit of her life, and she would take the young girl out into the woods, where animals would flock around them. As she grew older, her affinity for archery became prominent, as well as her skills with animals. And while she always knew there was something strange about her mother, she never suspected the truth.

When she was sixteen, her parents sat her down, and told her everything, before going on to suggest that she go to Olympus Academy, to train and hone her skills as a demigod. She was overjoyed. Finally, there was a chance at adventure, away from the small town she'd grown up in. At the academy, Tess flourished, making more friends than she had ever had, and proving herself as a capable fighter and student.

Surprisingly good. Artemis was present for Tess' childhood, and so they are much closer than many other demigods are with their parents, although finding out that she had siblings that were born after her, during her parents marriage was hard to wrap her head around.

Right On The Mark - Being a daughter of the goddess of the hunt, Tess has excellent aim. She finds that her skills are best with bows, but she can be incredibly accurate with throwing knives as well.

Snow White In The Flesh - Tess has a natural affinity with animals, and while she can't necessarily speak to them, she can understand their methods of communication, and can easily calm them.

While Liv thinks she's nothing special, many a boy would tell her otherwise. In fact, to many she's quite the beauty. Smooth, ivory skin, and flowing, shoulder length, chocolate hair that frames her face just right. Her smile is infectious, and when she does grin or laugh, it shows across her entire face, with her crinkling eyes and the dimples in her cheeks. Her eyes are a sea green, fitting considering her parentage. She's not particularly tall, only standing at around 5'2, with a slender, athletic form, a result of years of training at OA. While she doesn't have any tattoos, she does have her ears pierced.

Clothing Style:
The best way to describe Liv's clothing style is casual. She doesn't dress like a runway model for a normal school day, but she does put some effort in. Form fitting jeans and an exceptionally cute t-shirt aren't uncommon, and neither are dresses and skirts, paired with jackets or blouses. When Liv isn't around and people are discussing her in a positive light, they'll talk about how caring she is. How she won't let anyone suffer, and how she loves making new friends. They'll talk about how brave she is, and while she hates conflict, she's not afraid to start a fight with a bully, or someone who she thinks deserves it. They'll talk about how honest she is, and how she could never tell a lie, mainly because she's the worst liar in the world, but also because she has a strong sense of right and wrong, and lying doesn't fall on the right side. But with more somber tones, they'll mention how she seems to be holding back sometimes, never getting too excited about things, and generally just trying not to work herself up.

If the conversation is more negative though, people might begin discussing how she's too blunt, a lack of understanding for other people's feelings. Background:
A sailboat out on the open sea, a young artist at the helm. A storm that should've destroyed the boat, but instead left it bobbing gently in the middle of the ocean. This is how Posiedon and Margaret Weston met. Margaret loves to tell the story, of how the storm passed, and a handsome man was rising from the water, and floating towards her boat. It always brings a smile to her face. Their's was a short lived affair, though both loved the other, of that Liv is certain. But Posiedon had other duties, and Margaret was a free spirit, and so they left each other behind.

Although, Margaret was left with one parting gift. A baby, who she would name Olivia. Growing up, Liv had a less than normal life. Her mother was an artist, and had a penchant for packing everything up and moving to any random place that seemed to inspire her at the time. Small towns, tropical islands, big cities, you name it. Margaret had a trust fund filled with cash and a never ending sense of wanderlust. And while this didn't allow Liv to have a completely normal education and childhood, it certainly kept her life interesting.

Growing up, Liv was home schooled by her mother, an education that always seemed to focus more on painting than anything else. Many times, Liv would take her education into her own hands, teaching herself about the American Revolution, or the Civil War, although she's never resented her mother for this. In fact, she believes the whole experience made her much stronger.

Liv's father would come to her for the first time on her 16th birthday, after a particularly destructive event happened, caused by Liv. Only a few days earlier, Liv had witnessed a mugging on a small street in the town that she and her mother were living in at the time. Desperate to help, she'd rushed forward, her rage surging, desperately wanting to do something. And something she did. Her raw emotion channeled into the ground and caused a furious eruption of water, like nothing she'd ever seen or done before. The town was flooded, and it was that day that she swore to keep her emotions in check. When her father came, he told her about OA, and she accepted eagerly, desperate to learn how to control her powers.

Their's is an amicable relationship that much is clear. Her mother always spoke highly of him, and made it clear that their separation was mutual, and that he did not abandon them. Liv holds no resentment towards him for not being around, although sometimes she blames him for cursing her with such destructive powers.

Godly Abilities:
Hydrokinesis - Liv is capable of hydrokinesis, the manipulation of water. She can pull moisture from the air to create and shape water to her will, or she can use an existing source. She can control the speed at which water moves, turning a jet of water into a highly pressurized weapon, or even the temperature, freezing or boiling small bodies of water. When she is calm, this ability is only as dangerous as she wants it to be, although when she is highly distressed, she can lose control, and this power becomes quite dangerous to those around her.

Geokinesis - Posiedon was also known to cause massive earthquakes, and this ability has been passed on to Liv. While she can really only make the ground rumble enough to throw someone off balance, she rarely does, fearing that she'll lose control and hurt others, or destroy something.

In Depth Appearance:
There's a good chance that many people will be looking up at A.J. in both the literal and figurative sense. Such things tend to happen when one is gifted with height. A.J. is a tall woman, standing at a good six foot two, and she wears her height rather well by not being a gangly sort of tall. While not in possession of an overly shapely figure, when she isn't dressing down A.J.'s more physical attributes come into the light, starting with the length of her legs which, depending on who you ask, rank high on her list of physical features. There's little cellulite to be found on her body thanks to what she claims is a good metabolism. Though her legs and the toned nature contained within are certainly points of interest, it is her sharp jawline and cheeks that A.J. is most proud of. Her visage is strong, elegant and angular, that it's such a shame that it's rarely shown to be smiling genuinely.

A.J.'s hair is always medium length and bounces between a sandy color and a more obvious blonde. She doesn't often experiment with new styles, preferring the standard middle part and healthy amount of brushing to maintain its straight nature. Her eyes, less bright and more pronounced, are a muddy brown but that doesn't stop them from being able to carry her glances of interests and incredulity. There aren't any blemishes on her skin, not even so much as a lingering scratch or wound or even tan lines. It's evident that A.J. enjoys making herself look presentable, and often that translates to a healthy amount of eyeshadow/eyeliner and lipstick, but it's never to the point of being caked on. That would just be disastrous.

A.J. goes for more glamour than outright flirty, knowing that one needn't show off to grab attention when needed. But by the same token her devotion to the glamour comes with its own cost.

In a word? Variable. More often than not A.J. will be wearing clothing that screams comfort and casual but is more fashion oriented than a simple 'casual' look of jeans or what have you. While jeans are certainly welcome, it's never without matching accessories or a top to match. A.J. stays on top of the trends in the fashion world mainly so she knows when it's time to update her wardrobe, blending the in style trends with more down-to-earth, common person affordable items. She leaps at the chance to go formal since it is an excuse to wear dresses that either show off a bit of leg or else swish and sway with the steps; either way it all feels good to wear. A.J.'s style is a mixture of what's in and what's affordable, though what's affordable to her might not be so for everyone. But that's not exactly her fault, is it.

• A rather light sleeper, A.J. will often sleep with the covers fully over her just to add an additional muffler from potential sounds that will wake her up. People that just stomp their way to the bathroom in the middle of the night earn a permanent spot on her shit list.
• An avid eater, at meal times A.J.'s portion sizes are a bit on the larger side though she doesn't seem to notice or care. Some observers note that she eats enough for two or three.
• Has a bit of a thing for jewelry, specifically rings. She will often play with her own ring when bored, spinning it around her finger or something to that effect.

Personality:

There's a word for people like to use about A.J. and it's not one used in polite company, though the truth of the matter is a bit different than what it seems. It's quite easy to see just what traits she took from dear sweet mother despite A.J.'s protests on the matter. Popularity is something that A.J. flocks to, believing herself to be someone worth knowing due to her having a finger on the pulse. She wants people to know her name even if she can't be assed to remember any herself. Always with some new bit of candy around her arm or in her eyes, A.J. seems to be the type to be seen as a bitch due to her interests in physical beauty in herself and others, but while it's true she surrounds herself with yes-men and women and enjoys being the center of any given attentions, A.J. is hardly a bitch or even catty. She treats those that make an effort just the same as she treats her inner circle and is always willing to lend an ear to the girls that need a little bit of guidance.

It's just that her more...negative aspects overshadow her kinder ones. A.J.'s love of physical attractiveness has made her rather vain. Her fear of romantic involvements and entanglements has made her into something of a tease though it's something of a status symbol to be her bit of arm candy even if all that comes of it is a single night. Though she does have a heart, especially for the girls in the academy, A.J. buys a little too much into her own hype which serves to make her equal parts ice queen and motherly. With a bit more emphasis on the ice queen on most days.

A.J. is hot and she wants people to know that regardless of how it bad it might make her look.

Background:
One of the perks of being the child of someone that's a pretty big deal is that it makes you want for nothing. Though a marriage was not involved, A.J.'s mother had a particularly wild night after another in a long series of one-ups she was having with someone who won't be mentioned and this one ended with a pregnancy; an unwanted side effect but then, who hadn't been there before. A.J. was raised by her mother just long enough for her mother to instill some very important wisdom about life and people in general. A.J. didn't quite understand at the time, what young person does when the topic consists of such concepts as 'infidelity' and 'people will disappoint you'?

But A.J.'s father, despite not wanting to be one, had little choice but to take her in after her mother suddenly parted to continue to game and her spiteful existence. A.J.'s father, Anthony, is a wealthy sort that managed to turn his less than stellar looks into million dollar paychecks thanks to his ability to believably act. Growing up, A.J. was spoiled, raised more by the house help than the parent that stayed behind. There were visits from her mother, but they grew less and less frequent the older A.J. got.

It was actually her mother that insisted A.J. attend Olympus Academy if only so she could be among people A.J. could relate to. A.J. didn't understand at the time how...higher up her mother truly was and she entered the Academy with the hopes that there weren't any expectations to live up to anyone. A.J. really just wanted to continue being doted on like she was at home, though that was a bit more difficult among peers. Difficult, but certainly not impossible.

A.J. started exhibiting habits from her mother, namely in how she dealt with people that she felt betrayed her, the liars and cheaters of the world. Jealousy and spite reared their heads far too often and with it came a desire to be wanted...to be desired. Comparisons between herself and more unsavory aspects of her mother were quick to raise her anger, and considering the sorts that attend Olympus Academy, thsoe comparisons were made rather often.

She's more like her mother than she cares to admit.

Relationship With Godly Parent:
A.J. wouldn't say they have a great relationship, but they have an...understanding. She no longer thinks Hera left her behind now that she knows more about the pantheon and her heritage and all that, but it's doubtful A.J. will say she loves her mother. But she wouldn't say she loves her father either and he was actually there for more of her life. Hera cares for A.J. no more or no less than any other child she has borne but there is care to be found.

Godly Abilities: Due to Hera's status as the 'Queen' of the gods, A.J. considers herself as something of a 'Queen' of the demigods and with this status comes the ability to influence her 'worshipers' to do her bidding, which mostly consists of telling her hangers-on to do things like take her tests, do her homework, and cater to her.

On the more positive side, A.J. can also grant favor to couples and her blessing to young couples comes with assurance that their love is for real and will last. A.J. doesn't play matchmaker, but she can see who is faithful and who isn't and if two people have genuine feelings towards one another.

A.J. can't turn into a bird, but she can understand and communicate with them if the need should ever arise. Birds see many things from above and are shockingly good for intel.

Less an ability and more taking after her mom, when scorned A.J. will do everything in her power to ensure the humiliation of whoever it was that wronged her, no matter what.

In Depth Appearance:
When one thinks of a child of the god of war, the image that comes to mind is not likely that of Alessandra Sykes. For starters, she's rather, well, short, standing at 4'9" without the aide of any sort of platform, be it shoe or podium, and with that small height comes a rather small frame to match. Alessandra is certainly a healthy person, but her slender physique and small musculature has her looking more like someone who would be protesting a conflict rather than engaging in one. She isn't a physically weak or frail person by any means, but intimidation is not a look that suits her in any shape or form.

Her rounded face has a youthful look about it, her mother always said it was due to being a 'late bloomer' but Alessandra believes that her blooming period came and went by this point. Her eyes are rather expressive and wide, with vibrant brown pupils and ever-present makeup so that the eyes of others are instinctively drawn towards her own. Underneath her eyes, both of them, are two silver gems, one under each eye, that she received as a birthday gift. It's like a permanent accessory, her face is bedazzled. Alessandra's hair is as brown as her eyes and constantly blows in the breeze, which is an annoyance with how wild and in-the-way her bangs tend to get. She's been told to cut it shorter but she has yet to heed that advice.

Alessandra is fine with her size and build, but if there's one thing she's self conscious about it is her nose. She is not a fan of how small her nose is, nor does she like it when people press their finger against it and go 'boop' which stopped being cute right about the time she was able to walk.

Clothing Style:
A startling number of Alessandra's clothes tend to be black in color. She's not going through a phase or anything, she just finds that black really brings out the color in her skin, plus it pairs well with a wide variety of clothing. She doesn't exactly put forth a lot of effort in co-ordinating outfits, however. Most days will find Alessandra in a sundress (spaghetti strap being her favorite) and boots. Hardly anything that would mark her as a fashionista, but it's what she enjoys and feels comfortable in.

• Alessandra insists on going to bed no later than 12:30 A.M. and gets unreasonably cranky if she is up later than that or is woken up.
• Can and will jump onto people's backs and expect to be carried. The daughter of the god of war needs warhorses after all.

• Often slips and lets loose a malapropism. Don't correct her.
• If a sandwich has crusts on it, she will not cut them off but rather bite them off and spit them out. It sounds gross but it looks adorable in reality.

Personality:

Because Alessandra is often the shortest and smallest person in any given location (barring her being around children for some reason) she's taken to also being one of the LOUDEST wherever she goes. She doesn't scream every word or anything ridiculous like that but she is always full of energy and practically raring to go at the drop of a pin. Is it any wonder why she likes to go to bed earlier? Older sorts, like adults, tend to label her as a hellion but she's not really a troublemaker.

What she IS is someone that always seems to be looking for a reason to throw down. "You wanna go?" is not a rhetorical question with her. To her credit, however, Alessandra isn't one to bully people into fights and more often than not her requests and threats of fighting are met with laughter because how could someone short be serious. She's a competitive person, but manages to channel that competitive nature in ways that don't revolve around fighting people.

Alessandra is rarely taken seriously until people see that behind her diminutive and cute persona is someone that came from the god of war. Really, Alessandra wants to be taken seriously after being seen and treated like a child just because of her physical attributes and the best way to get people to notice and acknowledge her is by MAKING them notice and acknowledge her. But it just becomes so difficult when she so often acts like a child emulating her older siblings.

Background:
The sad part of Alessandra's life was when she realized she didn't know her father, but it didn't last all that long. The god known as Ares was not exactly a considerate father or lover when he had a single night of passionless action with a police officer who made media attention thanks to her handling of an armed hostage taker situation. Ares was attracted to the woman's bravery (as he saw it, plenty disagreed), while Margaret Sykes was attracted to the Adonis belt before realizing how awkward and awful the night was. It was supposed to be a one and done, two adults being adults.

Nine months later Alessandra was born and by that point the father had all but vanished.

It was hardly easy being raised by a single parent, especially one that worked a career that was potentially dangerous (though the chief did put Alessandra's mother behind a desk for the duration of her pregnancy and the early years of Alessandra's life), but Alessandra didn't complain, understanding the sacrifices that surely had to be made for her sake. She was close with her mother because of that, even during the moments of annoyance such as whenever Alessandra asked about her father.

Of course, when the truth came out, Alessandra assumed it to be a joke, to the point where she appreciated the efforts her mother would go to just to appease her. After all, how could she be the daughter of the god of war when the most 'war' she got involved in was the card game of the same name? But the disbelief and humor morphed into morbid understanding, aided considerably by her acceptance and arrival at Olympus Academy.

It was a bit of a shock at first, because of course it would be, but Alessandra adapted and even began embracing her heritage. She doesn't know her father but she knows OF him. Ares has seen the type of girl Alessandra has become, short, weak, soft, and wants nothing more to do with her. She's probably better off, having been raised by a more moral person means Alessandra's conflict and innate affinity towards it can be geared more towards causes of justice rather than war for the sake of it.

Her lack of height she blame entirely on her father and wants to punch him for it.

Ares has no daughter. Well that's not true, he's had kind of a lot, but specifically he has no daughter named Alessandra. Were she born in Sparta and also a male, she would have been chucked aside, or so Ares believes. It's clear that Alessandra is not exactly the image of war and conflict and this has contributed to Ares all but abandoning her to her own fate. She doesn't mind, but she'd one day really like to punch him in the face just to show that she didn't fall that far from the tree.



Godly Abilities:
Conflict
-Alessandra has a knack for both finding and pulling others into conflict, be it actual physical fighting or just verbal arguments. She secretly enjoys getting into fights even if she swears otherwise. She cannot command others to fight, but staying around her for a long enough time just might draw out the base desire for fighting.

Swordsmanship
-A not so fancy way of saying that Alessandra knows how to wield a blade. She prefers fencing, obviously, but knows techniques. When weapons aren't involved she can use makeshift things, like say a thick enough stick, like a sword. A stick does not turn into or take on the characteristics of a sword, but she wields it the same.

Righteous Indignation
-Though Alessandra does secretly enjoy getting into conflicts, she not-so-secretly finds more fulfillment in fighting in reaction to negative actions such as abuse, mistreatment, insults, and the like. While she doesn't fly off the handle over every little bit of injustice, she will often step into conflicts that aren't hers both to fuel her desire and to be seen as something of a guardian.

Nerves of Steel

Closer to one hundred during her months of "I'm trying hard to cut back man.." which is a nice way of putting: not drinking alcohol and eating fast food every night. She has a head full of naturally curly light brown hair, that she keeps long and often leaves down. Her eyes are a very light grey which can appear to be more of a blue tint when in the proper lighting. Dustyn enjoys being dolled up, but doesn't put too much effort in to her appearance. She enjoys lipsticks, eyeliners, and eye shadows when appropriate. Her body is littered with many scars and often bruises from her escapades of the past and present. She has yet to get a tattoo, but would love to get a thigh piece one of these days when she comes across the money and the right artwork. Her ears are pierced in several places, mostly done in the bathroom of friend's dorm rooms and very uneven.

Comfort with a splash of grunge. Dustyn is always seen in some type of denim, whether it be skinnies or daisy dukes- she has jeans on. Not too picky with whatever her top is, as long as it doesn't smell too bad from the last time she washed it. Tends to not wear a purse or any type of bag with her, so don't be surprised if she asks you to place her stuff in your pockets or your own bag. Dustyn is someone that would see you eating lunch by yourself and not hesitate to walk over and keep you company. Granted, she might sit down and end up eating half of your sandwich while she explains to you why she thinks it'd be a good idea for you to go to the movies with her that night to see some new slasher flick- but she means well. She is not dumb, but can often appear air-headed and aloof based on her social activities and her tendency to go off on a tangent of something that she is passionate about or something that didn't really happen (ie: don't ask about her morgan freeman story). Dusty wants the best for everyone and herself, she just doesn't know how to go about it just yet.

Background:
Dustyn was conceived in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her parents had both been on their honeymoon with their spouses and ended up banging each other's brains out behind Caesar's Palace, or was it a Little Caesar's pizza? Either way, the two lovebirds had put their last relationships in the past and began the whirlwind that was Dionysus and Kimberly. A couple years had gone by but as soon as the big P word slipped from doctor's mouth, Dustyn's father had said he had other places to be- and thanks for the good time, it was fun. He even left a "Get well soon" card on the dresser, with about twelve dollars in singles.

Kimberly now was dumbfounded, pregnant, and all alone. She decided to leave sin city and try to find a better life in Salt Lake City, Utah. She didn't find any greener grass, but when Dustyn was born she did find out what happiness was again. The two lived in a small trailer park, growing up together and experiencing what life had to offer without many material goods. Though Dusty didn't live a glamorous life, she learned early on how much value there was in a strong family, true friends, and a good time.

As Dustyn grew into the age where teenagers start to experiment with smoking, drinking, and other questionable activities the signs of being not normal were coming into view. As her friends around her got buzzed after a couple cans of beer- Dustyn was struggling to find where the fun was in all of this. She took to greater lengths, pushing more and more to try to experience that feeling. It worried her mother, and not before long the talk of something being not quite right was exchanged.

Soon after at around the age of fifteen Dustyn was sent to Olympus Academy where she grew into the woman she has become now. Learning about her heritage and what it meant to demigod and why she was different from her childhood friends that she had left behind. Olympus Academy had been her home for a little more than six years, and she continues to grow into the woman that she hopes will make her mom proud.

She has a bit of resentment towards him, blaming him for her failed relationships with guys who we're just in it for some fun. When the two get together, they can tell they share very similar personalities but Dustyn's father didn't want to ever grow up, while she on the other hand- had that deep down urge to settle down one day.

Godly Abilities:
Dustyn has the ability to take large amount of alcoholic drinks without feeling much of a buzz. This tends to make her a bit of the "crazy" girl when it comes to parties. She is not immune, but it takes a bit more to get her feeling anything. Another party trick Dusty has up her sleeve is the ability to name the contents of all drinks just by taking a taste. Devlin stands at a average height of 5'6", Her black hair is a mixture of waves and curls with streaks of colors that she changes whenever she feels like. When you meet her, Devlin Tutela Chadwick, she kind of has a few different pieces of her personality that makes her Devlin. But, they blend into her all at once, she do not have multiple personalities. Background:
Devlin Tutela Chadwick was born on November 20, 1994 to a young and not married couple. Their names were Anise ChadWick and Dmitri Tate. And, just like every teenage parent, her mother thought that her father would stay around once she was born. That was not the case. One day when Devlin was three years old, her mom came home from picking her up from school to find her father was gone. No trace of him left in their home. After that, She had decide to give Devlin to her parents and ran off to find her "beloved" boyfriend. Devlin doesn't even remember her face. But, growing up with her grandparents wasn't terrible. They never showed Devlin any photographs of her mother just because they thought she would be upset. Unlike her mother they didn't have a lot money and tried to give Devlin whatever she wanted if they could afford it.

She didn't really have a normal childhood growing up. Her auntie, Anastasia came to live with them and had brought her husband and two boys in Boston in Las Vegas. It was nice, I guess, they treated as Devlin as their own. Devlin and her cousins got along great, When they had days off of school. They would spend it together working on the car her oldest cousin was trying to rebuild. Or they would have prank wars between the three of them. Her aunt use to tease them about how women's intuition was Superior to men's gut considering how it seemed that Devlin always evade their prank traps. Her family considered her to be a little genius, because she always seemed to understand how mechanical objects worked together or busy working on a project she thought would be good to use around the house.

When she turned fifteen, Devlin heard her aunt talking, well screaming to someone on the phone. Before she knew it Devlin heard her yell something about her, saying "You are not going to hurt her again!" She's a very smart person and could put two and two together. It was her mother and she wanted Devlin back. So, she asked for the phone and heard her mother's voice. She was terrified but before she knew it, They made plans to meet while Anise was in town. When they did meet, Devlin saw the wedding ring on her finger and found out that her boyfriend proposed once seeing each other once again. But, the one thing she told Devlin that changed her life is that her father didn't stay because he didn't want a child but because she wasn't his to begin with and she wouldn't tell him who's baby Devlin was. So, he left her until she choose. Him or Devlin. And she chose him. She found out that her father was a god, not God but a Greek god named Hephaestus, the god of blacksmiths and a bunch of other stuff in that category which maybe why she was able to know exactly what every type of machine was. Ok, she guessed she wasn't that intelligent. Devlin asked her why she was telling her this now, all Anise did was tell her about a school she had enrolled her in, that she would be attending next school year. Then she walked away. She didn't even say Goodbye, she just left Devlin sitting in the cafe they met in.

When Devlin had gotten home that night, she had told her grandparents that her mother had made arrangements for her to attend Olympus Academy next school year. They were surprised that Anise would be paying for her to go to school. They had told her if she didn't want to go she didn't need to; But she had already decided to attend Olympus Academy, when the next school year started. Maybe, She might learn something about her father while she is there.

Life at the Academy:
So far it has been great, at first she had a rough start. She had felt agitated and out of place, She was having trouble keeping calm. Part of her was mad, that Anise and Hephaestus both abandoned her. Mad, that she could control her temper. Before she left, her grandparents house things, unexpectedly would set on fire. When she got upset. Her first few weeks, she ended up burning thing on accident. Till one day, she was pulled aside by one of the teachers. They had in a classroom by herself, till a man entered. She felt like he was familiar to her but, she didn't know why. When he smiled at her, She felt a surge of warmth. When he had told her, That he was Hephaestus. That he was her father. All the anger she had felt before, came rushing back. The tables around her started to burst into flames, before he waved his hand and the fires disappeared leaving charred desktop behind. He told her that, she was like her mother pressing down her anger till comes out all at once. He apologized to her, saying he thought Anise would take care of her and raise her good. But, he was wrong. He wanted to get to know her and help her gain control of her pyrokinesis. She cautious at first, when she meet with him for lessons. But, eventually she moved past her anger and always looked forward her next lesson. By, The time her first year had ended. She had better control of her powers and pretty good relationship with Hephaestus.
Devlin was pretty much back to her old self before, she had met with Anise. She had also friends, who she knew she would do anything for. Sure, now that she is a Sixth year. She doesn't have the same friends as before, But was still friends with the ones who really mattered to her and had made new friendships as well. Now she just what this school year would be like.

She has a sweets addiction, so she tends to keep a bunch of snacks on her at all times.

Devlin is the daughter of the god Hephaestus, god of blacksmiths, craftsmen, artisans, sculptors, metals, metallurgy, fire and volcanoes.
Relationship With Godly Parent:
When Devlin and Hephaestus first met, it began with Devlin telling him off for disappearing from her life. Hephaestus laughs at this, saying She reminded him of her mother, whom he misses quite a bit. Hephaestus later reveals that he has been watched her grow, and that he is very proud of her. He also admitted that he is not very good with people, which is why he doesn't meet with his children often. Since then, She has had a friendly relationship with her father. always ready to ask him advice, or just to sit and tinker with some equipment that he sends her way.

  Devlin has amazing mechanical abilities; she can manipulate a alarm clock to say "Dev for the win" in a low voice like Darth Vader's and build a working helicopter out of pipe cleaners. She was able to fix the old watch for her grandfather in one night, even though he thought it would never work again.
  Machine Aptitude: Devlin can understand and sense machinery and has the ability to expertly operate machines she has had no prior experience with.
  Machine Expertise: Because Devlin is a demigod child of Hephaestus, she can instinctively fly or drive any mechanical vehicle expertly, including cars, trains, or helicopters. Unfortunately, though She has a fear of being confined in small spaces. So she tries to stay as far away as possible from them.
  Machine Sensitivity: She can sense faults in metal ore and identify machinery type and use by touch. It can be distracting to her, because she will suddenly have needs to fix whatever the problem is.
  Trap Detection: Devlin can also sense traps, in particular mechanical traps, shown when she seems to be able avoid the prank traps her cousins set up to prank her with.
• Pyrokinesis
  Devlin discovers the ability to generate and control fire, when she accidentally sets the garage on fire. It took a few years for her to learn to control it now at low-level ability she would probably be moving a candle back and forth; if better, maybe putting out the flame with her mind or making it relight. Pyrokinesis is one of the more practiced skills like telekinesis. It is too, for warming people up or setting objects aflame. Her pyrokinesis is supposedly a gift, hasn't quite made up her mind yet about if it's true or not. Her pyrokinetic abilities can go as far as to shoot white hot flames high in the air that could burn through a metal chain link. However, she does have trouble controlling her pyrokinesis when she gets Angry or irritable, Usually when she get like that things start burning up. She can throw fireballs/fire bolts, fire blasts and (if she concentrates hard enough), Tall walls of fire.
  Superheated Fire: Devlin can increase the heat of her fire (to the point that it becomes white-hot), and can also create walls of flame. This is the main defensive use of her powers.
  Supernova: She can increase the heat of her fire to such an extent that she basically becomes like a supernova. But the side-effects effects of using her power in such a way is quite fatal to her (enough to char her otherwise fireproof body), despite her immunity to flames.
  Fire Immunity: Devlin discovers she is fireproof, When she was still living with her Grandparents. She could sit in a blazing fireplace and be completely comfortable. However, Devlin's supernova fire explosion was fatal even to Devlin, enough to char her body. She also found, when she is angry. Her immunity seems to disappear and has burned herself during the times they were gone.
  Heat Sensitivity: She can sense heat, flames, and metals, even allow her to walk through the forest at night in the form of thermal vision.

In Depth Appearance:
standing at 5'10" Peter is hot or, at least, he likes to think so. With a well-toned body he finds a lot to brag about. Every part of him seems to warn of trouble. His hair is dark brown colour that's often mistaken for black and covered in way too much hair gel, he's very proud of his hair and won't let anyone touch it. His fair skin seems unblemished, however it wasn't so as a teen, and his face is clean-shaven, Peter makes sure of that. His eyes are a chocolate brown and seem to always possess a twinkle that says he's causing trouble. His lips are a pale pink and seems to alway possess a smirk or a coy smile even if the don't actually physically.

Clothing Style:
Petere tends to wear quite casual clothes, jeans or shorts and sneakers (he need the right shoes for running away). Though as far as shirts go it's hard to judge what he'll. One day it might a casual top of a calmer colour then the next day he might bound around in a brightly coloured Hawaiian shirt. In formal situations Peter is one who's totally turn up in golden or purple or patterned suit. Even though his clothing is casual it's not odd for him to walk around Olympus Academy in something completely out there. Personality:

Technically Peter is 21 but mentally? He's a 5 year old. Fart jokes, terrible childish comebacks and a distaste for 'spoil sports' Peter might as well be a child. A child who has the knowledge to create and pull off pranks and, possibly most dangerously, has an access to liquor. Peter seems to find everything funny regardless on whether he still should or not. He is very childish and can rarely rise to acting his age, whether he be in classes, in casual settings, getting a talking to from Mr D or whatever there's no doubt that he's probably still not acting his age. Even at 21 he's still a class clown.

Peter is exuberant. Loud and wild he never seems to not have that cheeky grin on his face except when he's laughing. He's a lot of fun to be around but a little difficult to handle. His ego makes it no easier either. Peter's ego is sky-high. He is very full of himself and will often comment on his body or 'amazing personality'. It's aspect he shares with the males of the Aphrodite cabin, wven if they aren't technically related, he even greatly fear disfigurement.

Much like many Hermes' kids Peter is a prankster. He considers himself prankmaster of camp half-blood and has pulled off countless pranksover his years at camp half-blood and almost everyone has become a victim. When making pranks Peter takes in very little consideration in the effect thwy'd have on others, as long as he's amused he sees no problem.

Taylor McMillan was only 17 when she fell pregnant after a Summer fling, unbeknownst to her that her Summer romance was with the god Hermes himself. Scared, ridiculed and neither willing or ready to care for a child she quickly found a couple to adopt her unborn son. Peter's adoptive parents were always straight-up about Peter's adoption, they didn't look like him anything like him anyway, but still, to this day, claim the day they first held him was the best day of their lives.

Even though he never knew his real mother Peter lived quite a happy childhood. Although it wasn't a luxurious life the family of three lived happily and more than enough of their needs covered. Most importantly of all they were able to invest a lot of time in each other. Even though he doesn't see them often anymore Peter still considers his parents his best friends.

It took Hermes weeks to convince Peter's parents to get him Olympus Academy. Even though he had proved that he was Peter's father what sort of man leaves his son for 16 years then waltzes in telling his parents how to raise him. Eventually they figured it was the best place for their son and, with heavy hearts, let him go.

Alex can be described as average. In fact, he is so average that it becomes exceptional. He's 5'8" high, looks neither muscular nor weak. Isn't fat, nor can you call him really slender. He prefers to keep his brown hair short, as it is most of the times a near untamable. It points literally every possible way except for down. His eyes are the only things that one might notice. For just how dark they are. The iris and the pupils are nearly the same color. Pitch black. Giving the illusion sometimes as if he has large, black eyes. He doesn't want a beard and makes sure to shave every morning to keep it from growing. Which helps making him look younger than he actually is. Not that he's working towards that. It's just a side effect of how he looks in general.

Clothing Style:
Comfort is first and foremost of importance to Alex. He often buys his clothes a little too big, so they more or less hang on him. He prefers the baggy look because, as the name suggested, it offers tons of pockets to store stuff in. More specifically, his first choice of trousers will always be jeans. Often they are just a little too long, so the bottoms scrape over the ground a little. Unraveling them a little. His shirt isn't really form fitting but very comfortable. Finally, he MUST wear a hoodie at all time. An Alex without a hoodie is an Alex who is not particularly happy by default. The hoodies he owns are mostly either light gray or dark blue.

Personality:

First and foremost, Alex is not a- or anti-social. In fact he will have no problem to approach people he doesn't know yet. Whe he won't do is talk about himself, his problems, feelings or even interests. When he talks with you, it will always about you. He'll make a very conscious effort to keep it that way. Of course, when you ask how he is or what's up he'll answer: with a 'just fine'. Or a 'Oh nothing special'. Even when that's not true, he'll just lie about it. That's how he grew up. Keeping to himself. Never the less he's a very good friend to have. He's loyal and trustworthy.

Asides from that he generally sits still, does nothing big and can be very quiet. In those moments, he mostly is just practicing or playing with his arts. Which are incredibly important to him. He loves his powers more than anything. And he constantly strives to imrove them. He even keeps a grimoire, a digital one, on a stick around his neck.

He will rarely attack an enemy of his outright. In that, Alex is worse. He'll use his powers to curse you. To manipulate the small things in your life. Make you sick or vomit. The fact is that a hostile Alex is a very dangerous one. Because he has no concept of limits. He won't ever set the first step, but stand on his toes and you'll regret it. He can also be quite vengeful. Unable to let go of things and forgive people.

Background:
Alex was born out of wedlock. Obviously. What made it worse was that his father was already married. The worst? He already had a child. His wife, Leana, was out on a, art scholarship in San Fransisco. She saved for over 4 years, since she was 16 for the scholarship, as painting was her true dream. Markus was her childhood crush and now husband. The two loved eachother very much, but Markus got lonely. Looking after the newborn babe demanded a lot of his energy and after a short while he got rather depressed. He started drinking out at the bar and paid a babysitter almost every night. He encountered Hecate, who then passed for just Kate or Cathrine at night. When he drunkenly stumbled back home. Markus, despite being a drunk, still had a certain charm about him. And Cahtrine was a completely mystery herself.

She conceived the child the day Leana returned. Furious at Markus, she left in tears taking her paintings that turned their flat colorful. And Alexander's big brother, James. The next day she filed for divorce. Markus took it rather hard, falling deeper and deeper into a depression, fueled by booze. Until Selena entered Markus' world. Ironically Selena was a distant friend of Leana's, who was just in between jobs and had no issues making a little money babysitting. Everything Cathrine wasn't, Selena was. She was stable, most and foremost. Much more stable than Markus. She was also incredibly patient and very loving towards little Alex. While Markus knew he was slowly falling in love with her, he was first rather afraid of the idea of loving another woman. But somehow Selena silenced those fears. The couple married when Alex was 6 years. But he remembers nothing of the wedding.

All the while Alex grew up thinking he was just some other lady's child. Strangely he never had problems with the idea of never knowing his real mom. He had accepted Selena as his mom very fast. Everything changed though when he was walking outside at dusk. When suddenly a black veiled lady walked towards the house. Hecate. This happened when he was 11. She apparently demanded that his father would send him to Olympus Academy when he turned 16. Markus, angry that the goddess just then showed up, after more than a decade of raising her child without her ever showing up. He actually slammed the door in her face. Selena opened it again though, she offered Hecate to come inside, and discuss the situation. But the goddess refused. Secretly she would teach those who were rude to her.

That's when Alex began to levitate stuff and talk to ghosts. His powers came within an instance, and the boy was rather distraught about it. His condition worsened, to the point that he ran away from the classroom crying several times. This continued for nearly a year until Hecate returned with her request. That was when Selena stopped being patient. Surely Alex's condition took a great toll on her. But instead of using that, she told Hecate that she was torturing the innocent boy. Who had done her nothing wrong. Hecate, realizing her mistake, tried to undo what she did before. With no success. It was Selena that then demanded her to visit Alex every now and then. As well as to leave behind methods so he could learn how to control his power.

Hecate first saw the boy as a problem to her. But he learned quickly. It became very apparent that Alex had a certain talent for his mother's art. So instead of going out with friends and talking during the break times, he was reading his weird books and muttering to the air. He became a bit of recluse, though he went to a good school. The children never bullied him over it. Some still dared to approach him and learned that he was a good person to talk to. Mostly because he preferred to just listen.

There would always be mysteries in the world, and even in magic, some things had no explanation other than that they just existed. In Depth Appearance:
Brianna stands at a proud 5’10, with long and slender limbs. She is well toned throughout, and though she doesn't have bulging mountains for biceps, they are worthy of being shown off. Her legs are powerful, strong enough to carry her through the track but graceful enough to keep her on top of things in flight. Her skin is on the border of tan and pale, more of a sheer sun kissed look than anything.

Though her prime athletic body is surely taken from her father, her striking face is inherited from her mother. She has light brown tresses, falling in waves just past her shoulders. Her face is round, not to the point of being pudgy, but more to keep features delicate and girly. She has sapphire eyes, with flecks of grey in them, and eyebrows with a curved arch. She can't wear makeup on her eyes or face -because she does a lot of activities that could cause running- but she does put on a coat of red lipstick that accents her pouty lips.

Her skin isn't flawless by any means, She has many scars from falling or injuring herself in some way. The way she carries those scars is what makes her seem flawless, with a grace and respect for every mar. She doesn't cover them up, or drench them in products to make the scars fade. Some boys say this gives her an extra level of attractiveness, others say it throws off her face. She couldn't care less.

Clothing Style
Brianna hates unnecessary clothes, she wouldn't be caught dead in sweatshirts or baggy pants that hang loose from her skin. This is why she's usually in skirts or crop-tops. Her tops don't have plunging necklines that reveal her cleavage, and her skirts usually fall just above her knees. They fit her form, just enough to show that she has curves. Underneath her clothes she wears spandex and a sports bra, making her able to strip her outer layer and go for a run with anyone interested.

Her hair is almost always tied up, a few strands hanging loose to frame her face. She's always wearing Fterá Angélou, and has a set of golden wrist cuffs carved with the symbols of her father to match. She has never bothered getting her ears pierced, knowing they could be ripped out if caught on something in flight, and other than her cuffs she wears no jewelry. Her style fits her, always ready to be active or on the run.

Personality:

Brianna is a tomboy, always up for action and hanging out with the guys. She doesn't spend much time worrying about her looks, just enough to stay presentable. She acts a bit more casual around boys, always fearing she has something to prove with other women. Some girls have called her a few names in the past, since she has more male friends than female. She ignores them though, names don't mean a thing if there isn't any truth behind them.

She has a lot of energy, but to cool down she reads books and poems. This gives her some versatility, so she isn't easily labeled as a fitness buff or nerd. She's a good friend to those that don't pick on her, and she can be a bit flirty if you catch her at the right time. When it comes to romance, she doesn't mind making the first move. She does require a lot of trust in people though, someone that can deal with her thefts and the fact that she doesn't have a family outside of her Mom and Dad.

Background:
When Brianna was born, the world didn't stop spinning, there was no choir announcing that a demigod had been born healthy and kicking. Instead, she was handed off to a nurse whilst her mother slept off the painful two hours of pushing. Brianna was fatherless, and her mother's family disapproved so much no one came to hold her hand or comfort her. A wedlocked baby was all they had wanted, and Brianna didn't quite fit.

Life from there was honest and full of tests for Brianna's mother. She was only nineteen, taking care of a baby and withdrawing herself from college. Her family didn't support her, and Brianna's father was nowhere to be seen. She didn't have much, but she nurtured Brianna well, raising her on poems from Edgar Allen Poe and songs by Billy Joel. Looking back now, Brianna figures her mother's love of literature is what hooked her father.

Things started to get complicated when Brianna turned nine. She was sent home from school often, because when the teachers came around to inspect desks, they would see hers full of pencils and hairpieces that didn't belong. Brianna insisted she didn't know why they were there, but no one believed her. It was straight to the office, then straight home. Brianna's mother was concerned, of course, but she didn't see any problems with it. The thefts were just a phase Brianna was going through, she told herself, never punishing her little bundle of joy too severely.

Brianna knew she was different when she was in middle school, her first year of official sports. It wasn't her amazing skills on the court that pointed out her oddities, but that she managed to stay on the team. The coach had been a bit iffy about her, knowing her track record from elementary school. When Brianna started stealing electric tape or cheer ribbons, the coach decided it was time to kick her, star player or no.

Brianna was pulled into the coach’s office, staring up at a lady with crows feet and crooked teeth. The coach told her she was off the team, and that she had to turn in her uniform by Monday morning. It was the week before their first out of town game, and Brianna practically fell on her knees, pleading with the coach to stay in. There was nothing she wanted more than that game, but the coach wasn't having it...until Brianna suggested compromise. Brianna felt the power flowing through her voice, she saw the brief look of confusion on her coach’s face before the lady agreed to let Brianna stay.

Brianna didn't question it, but she was retracted within herself the rest of the day, thinking about what had happened. It was like a switch had been flipped for her powers, because from that day onwards, she used them constantly. When she was in trouble with an adult, it would come out before she could even consider a different way of handling things. If Brianna was to be honest with herself, she would say things got a bit out of hand.

She would use it on the other members of her team, too. Some middle schoolers thought it was unfair, she was a starter on the A-Team in sixth grade. They began to take out agressions on her, and as a means of defense, Brianna would suggest they ‘pick on someone their own size’. Before she knew it, a full on fight had started in the locker room between the older girls. They forgot their team ethics, the coach said, and most of them were kicked off.

It continued outside of school too, she would steal something without noticing, shoving it into her purse while reaching for a chapstick. Then, when she went to leave the alarms would go off. Security would come and check her, looking through her purse and finding the objects. She would tell them she didn't know what they were talking about, and she was free to go.

Once, she was exiting a store and was intercepted by a man. He was tall and full of youth, with wavy hair the same shade as Brianna's. He looked athletic in his Nike shorts and tank-top, and had the strangest pair of shoes, synthetic wings flapping lazily, Brianna figured they were powered by wires in the golden straps. He gave her an apprehensive smile, before handing her a letter.



Brianna was tempted to tear up the letter, and get away from the creeper before she was abducted, but something held her there. Was the man really her father? Was he really Hermes, the Greek God they skimmed over in school? Slowly, he got on his knee and opened his arms, like a military father would to greet his child after a tour in some foreign country.

Brianna clenched her fists, almost sure he was her dad. His letter had been an apology, but she was still upset with him. Her mother had waited, all those years, for him to come back and visit their child. Now here he was, and she was already ten. He had missed ten whole years, but treated them like nothing. Tears fell from her cheeks, onto the pavement, and she caved. Running to her father, and wrapping her arms around him.

He told her that he was going to help her control her powers, until he could enroll her in the Olympus Academy. Brianna didn't know what that meant, but she agreed quickly. That same day, Hermes reconnected with his past lover. Brianna's Mom said she understood, and that Hermes could have her during the summer, but would stay out of her life during the school year. They spent that night murmuring on the couch in the living room, and Hermes was gone the next day.

Hermes kept his promise, taking her everywhere during the summer. Teaching her how to layer her Suggestions, and keep from using them. He showed her how to put up a barrier, they were weak though, and she would have to work on them in the Academy. She toured the underworld with him, guiding souls and delivering mail to Hades. Then, when the summer months were over, she was returned home. This carried on for three years, until she was taken out of public school entirely and placed in the Olympus Academy.

Now, she's in her fifth year. She still has great connections with her father, and mother. Her letter is framed and hanging in her room, for her to see every day as she puts on her winged sandals.

Hermes. God of travelers, thieves, merchants, boundaries, messages, luck, and eloquence. To name a few. Brianna really likes to correct people when they say he's just the God of thieves.

Relationship With Godly Parent
Unlike the majority of other kids, Brianna has a good relationship with her father, who has taught her much about her godly abilities. When they are together, they are usually traveling around the world of humans or the realm of the gods. He spoils her, but cares enough to discipline her and keep her in check. He usually lets loose around her, indulging in his trickster side once all work is done. Her father has brought a lot of light to her life, and she's glad she has connected with him in such a way.

Godly Abilities

The Power of Suggestion- Brianna is naturally eloquent, her words carry proudly enough to make any first year Aphrodite child a bit jealous (after that they greatly surpass her.). She can also put a power behind her suggestions, making them nearly irresistible to mortals and weak minded Demigods. Athena and Aphrodite children have a knack for deflecting this ability, and even her most potent suggestions only sound a wee bit sweeter in their ears.

Some Hecate children can sense her charmspeak, but their deflection abilities vary. As mentioned, Brianna can play around with intensity of her Suggestion, where as a child it just came out in waves that were uncontrollable. When she suggests something dangerous, say “Trip and fall on that rock,” it doesn't matter who she's working with, their chance of deflection doubles. This is one of her favorite abilities, and she works on it most.

Fterá Angélou- Brianna has her own special pair of winged shoes, given to her by her father. They have golden straps and feathers that flap even when she isn't flying. The soles are thin plates of flexible something or other (if you want the specifics, ask a Hephaestus kid.) that make it feel like her feet are bare but protected against rocks and other substances that could damage her feet. Very comfortable, they have an amazing ability to never feel worn. Of course, they also allow her to fly. In the eyes of mortals, they look like this

Multilingualism- Have an old papyrus scroll in Ancient Egyptian? Maybe you bought some Japanese snacks and can’t figure out how to microwave it. Well, if Brianna is around, she's your girl. The daughter of the messenger is a hell of a translator, picking up on foreign languages with ease. She knows everything from Afrikaans to Ancient Greek. There aren't many limits to this power, but since she doesn't have anyone to talk to in these languages, it's mostly useless.

Personal Space- Brianna can set a border around herself, by will. It's a circle around her, about two feet away in any direction. Once someone is let in, they are let in permanently. It's a good protection against melee attacks, but anything thrown or shot can pass through. Spears can pass through as well, up to the point it is held. The same goes for gases, and explosive devices. A demigod with a strong will may be able to press against the barrier, but if they don't make it all the way through, they will be knocked back a fair distance.

If you're one of the lucky few Brianna has let in, you connect to a sort of mental link with her. It's a strange sensation, her voice in your mind and vice versa. If you're totally against it, you can put up a defensive wall.

Peak Physical Condition- Brianna is very physically fit, with muscle definition coming all the way from her years as a preteen. She has always excelled in sports, track and field being her favorites. She dominates the field, taking charge with powerful swings or dribbles. She also has the perk of a fast metabolism, being able to eat almost anything, though she sticks to a healthy diet. Some may say she's a health nut, but it's in her genes.
