Depends on if you want to start reading from where the last battle ended, which happened at the halfway point of page 10. The introduction of veterans you've noticed is the prelude to a new mission.

Recap: a lot of pilots got killed in an invasion of Cruxi, and Elora, currently MIA, was caught up in an enemy teleport. The invasion used superweapons, but one of them was defeated by Serah and Sigma co-op.

Hello, and welcome back. Here's your new stats:
Synchronization: 92%
Experience: 47%

Like @Ammokkx said you can reference Archer and have a Frame similar to it.
@DarkRecon
It's for Synchro, yes.
@Ammokkx@Apollosarcher@AtomicNut@Evil Snowman@Dragoknighte@Mr Rage@Gate Keeper@DarkRecon@Jasonhero

A new Sergeant has appeared! Also, everyone who participated in the simulation collab get a +8% to Experience and +2% to Synchro. Serah and Jason get +3% to Synchro for their collab, Sigma gets +1% Synchro for Lorenzo-collab, and Serah and Mai/Jake get +2% for a bit of back-and-forth. If any stat goes over 100% mark it as 100%.
The Solaire battalion, having been a critical part in the defence of the planet, were granted rights to use the local facilities and resources to set up a temporary base for their campaign against the Cruxi. It thus didn't come as too much of a surprise that the pilot's daily lives of peace and training ended after just a week, signaled by Captain Ritsu ordering a briefing. She also mentioned that someone called Sergeant Steinhart would hold the briefing.

When the pilots arrived at the briefing hall, they met with a smiling middle-aged man standing on the side. A tall man over two meters, he first didn't even notice the others, and seemed like a carefree person as he simply gave a quick motion with his hand instead of a proper salute. It was clear from his decorations that he was a veteran, though no shoulder badge, so he was not the Sergeant they were waiting for.
Then the pilots heard the voice of a mature woman talking to someone, followed by another voice giggling in a childlike voice:

"Careful Elise, you're going to fall~"
"Haha, no way! Faster Daria, faster, haha!"

It didn't take long before the pilots saw a woman enter the hall. The woman wore a scientist's jacket, and was beautiful, her physical features sure to catch the attention of the male pilots present. However, it turned out even she was not the Sergeant.

On her shoulders Daria was carrying what looked to be a girl of grade-school age in a piggyback ride, and she was waving her arms around in an excited manner, before calming down as she was put down. She looked like a doll come to life in her miniature officer's uniform, though the tiny decorations on her chest and shoulder revealed that not only was she also a veteran, she was the Sergeant mentioned by Ritsu. The small girl smirked smugly as she put her hands to her hips. "So this is the famous squad Sigma that kicked Cruxi butt in Leviticus, huh? Nice to meetcha, hehe!" She gave a cutesy laugh as she saluted and winked.

"I'm Sergeant Elise Steinhart, though you can call me Sarge for short. This is Daria," she said gesturing to the mature woman beside her, "and that goofball over there is Devors," she said pointing to the tall man. "We were brought in as reinforcements for Solaire, and I was assigned as commanding officer to your squad. We'll be going on a new mission soon, briefed in detail by the Captain later. Until then, I'll be in charge of your training schedule, so let's train lots and get buff! Any questions?" Elise then asked, trying to give a stern glare and posture, though it came off as endearing more than threatening due to her lacking stature.
Apologies to everyone for having been quiet these past 2-3 weeks. I'm aiming to make a post this weekend, though it's probably only gonna be an introduction of some new characters.
@Mr Rage
It's however long it takes to do a single attack or move to a single location (or a bit of both). If you think it's fair from the perspective of other people, it's most likely fair here.
@Ammokkx
Thanks, I'll update OP with this.
@Mr Rage @AtomicNut
I was thinking two weeks would be enough time.
@Evil Snowman
I'm willing to accept nuclear reactors, but for them to cause a nuclear reaction it has to be a separate command for them. Heavy armor is fine, and will result in them moving slower than repair drones, but the laser cannons will have standard power with no charge times; two of them can go toe to toe with a CWM in other words.

Accepted otherwise.
