Bio

Let's get down to business (to defeat the Huns…).

I have been active since 2010 on one main site with one or two on the side. Since that site has fizzled out, I am looking for a new place to be creative.

I am currently 29, full time teacher

Weekends tend to be when I can respond for longer branches of time but I will try to check every day to every other day. (Summer is approaching which means more time!)

I am a native English speaker and try to at least write 1 paragraph if I’m in a serious rush, but I aim for 2-4. I also write from the female perspective. But hey, I’m a girl that likes detail! My main topics are as listed below:

-1x1
-Romance (Love me some romance!)
-Magick/Supernatural
-Fantasy
-Fandoms (Supernatural, GoT, HotD, OUAT, MCU, Harry Potter {I’m a Hufflepuff!}, Outlander, ACOTAR, Maximum Ride… I’ll think of some more!)
-Small Groups
-Time Travel
-School (College/Uni themes)
-Mature themes (We can hash out details in our DM’s. I have hard lines I do NOT cross.)
-Modern
-Historical (Preferably mid 19th century- mid/late 20th century)
-Medieval Era
-Casual OR Advanced (Please note that I am a teacher, so my schedule sometimes varies if I have extra work to do.)
-Always 21+ for character ages and for the author themselves

I always strive to be creative but accurate, and I love to plan out details behind the scenes to then be brought to light in the thread.
DM me and let's set up something fun!

XOXO,
Artemis Arts

Maggie Winchester

"Gah!" Maggie jumped out of her skin and spun around hearing Rose behind her in the doorway to the kitchen. Did people knock? Or at least walk heavy enough so she could anticipate a voice just coming out of nowhere? "Rose, oh my god you walk so quietly..." She half exclaimed, half sighed as she looked at the young woman before her with tired eyes. In this state, she wasn't surprised that she could just read her like a book considering how her night has done. Both kids had nightmares, which was rare. But poor Bobby, DJ shouldn't have been telling them scary stories before bed he had such an active imagination at his age. His poor mind didn't need to be fixating on vampires before going to bed! He was so scared that he was going to be bitten and then have to be beheaded... Oh DJ got an earful from her when they settled back into bed.

"I know I look, well, like a tired mom. The twins had nightmares and Bobby was a bit hysterical so it took quite a while to calm his little mind down. He has an overactive imagination- like his mother." She joked a little, not minding the slight dig at herself as Rosalie gently led her away from the counter and sat her in the chair to make a pot of coffee. She was quiet, listening to her speak here and there until a steaming mug of freshly brewed life source was place in front of her and she smiled, giving a nod of gratitude before bringing it to her lips and sighing as it filled her mouth. A stiff mug of black coffee was all she needed to wake right up no matter what had happened the night before.

"Speaking of that," she finally quipped when she mug was lowered back onto the table. "DJ said he heard about a few things but they're a bit far. New Mexico had small cases- nothing the local hunters can't figure out. But there looked to be a djinn in Maine, and some vampires in Washington. Unfortunately nothing central." She listed off what her husband had looked up last night before going to bed. He weirdly enough enjoyed looking up cases for us, reminding Maggie of his father every so often.
A New Generation of Hunters-
A Supernatural Adventure

The world had always been a chaotic place. Vampires, werewolves, djinn, wendigo and who knows what else ran free- attacking whoever crossed their path on a bad day. Vampires attacked a small farmhouse on the outskirts of a backwoods town in the middle of November, the smell of cooking dinner gone wrong attracting their need to feed. As the wife and mother of two nursed her slides thumb, they attacked in the dark. Cutting the power, stalking the family, laughing at their screams... That night the Hall family lost Grandma, and Ben to the creature of the night that plague their dreams; and control their nightmares.

At 12 years old, Margret Hall was introduced into the bloodthirsty world of the supernatural, brought into a new lifestyle of hunting, protecting, and learning by her parents who swore that they would never become that vulnerable to something inhuman again. Margret, who prefers to go by Maggie accepted this world, longing to avenge her little brother Ben who was pulled from her grasp too soon. Now she was being taught to shoot a gun, fire a bow and arrow, what to use against a vampire, a werewolf, a hybrid, or anything. Her family wasn’t accepted at first into the community of hunters until they made their first mission a successful trip, bringing back the head of the coven for questioning. That night something in Maggie changed and she realized what she knew she had to grow up to become.

But this world was in the middle of its own storyline besides the one focused on the Hall family. The Winchesters lived in this timeline, and were doing what they did best, kicking down doors and marking down tallies to their books- saving the world again and again from the likes of Chuck and Crowley, even Billie on occasion. But time did what time does best- and it moved on. The world had it’s day, Jack became the new god and Rowena sacrificed herself to rule hell in tandem with the Nephilim.

More time passed, and Samuel Winchester lost his big brother on a hunt, navigating the world without his number one. He got married, he settled down with her and finally created the family that he craved so much. He had children, naming his first after the one who always had his back: Dean. He affectionately called him DJ, or Dean Jr, and DJ grew up in a world with some order thanks to the partnership between Jack and Rowena but helping his father when creatures got out of line or rebelled against the ‘rules’.

As he grew up, Sam stopped hunting more and DJ took up the Winchester mantle of saving people, hunting things. The family business. That was where Maggie met him on a hunt and before they knew it- the next generation of Winchesters was born not the world, rightfully so named Bobby and Mary. Now Maggie was taking on the mantle and becoming the matriarch of her family and collecting a group of hunters to travel with her, individuals who were capable of empathy and understanding, either before or after taking out a nest of something that goes bump in the night.

A new generation of hunters was about to be gathered and the world was not ready for her new defenders.

"You have got to be kidding me...." She sighed, shaking her head as she stood in the kitchen, trying not to lose her cool as she remembered that we were all human, and we all made mistakes in this bunker. But whoever emptied the last of the coffee never made a new batch and that was the last straw! The twins both had nightmares the previous evening, DJ handled Mary while Maggie dealt with Robert and he was practically inconsolable about it! Cost her a good two and a half hours of sleep on top of already getting to bed late planning the next mission.

"I just needed a little bit of coffee to feel human again!" She groaned and slumped herself over the counter, slamming her hand down on the butchers block before letting out an exhausted sigh and picking her head up to examine what to do next with her sleep deprived brain. She was thankful for her kids, but more thankful to have the bunker and the current crew running about to keep her motivated and focused. Better than when it was just Dean and herself, working with Rowena whenever she decided to show her face and attempting to secure any deals with Jack but the kid never answered. That was starting to become a problem- Jack just ignoring them. She understood that he said he would be a bit hands off but no one expected him to be THIS hands off. It was like he didn't exist! If Sam never had proof of what he was like on earth with pictures and endless stories Maggie would swear up, down, and sideways that he wasn't real.

"Okay Cinnamon bagel, juice- do you want butter or cream cheese honey?" Emma asked with a smile as she glanced at Lily with a smile, jotting down her order swiftly as she cocked her hip to steady herself among the small throng of people in the diner. She was glad to have a busy morning and a lively bunch of faces in there today- beat some days when it was empty, raining, and anyone that walked in was cranky as all hell. This beat that for sure!

"Alright, and what about you two?" She turned to Beth and Aoki, more than ready to take down their orders as well to keep service moving along and everyone happy. But she had to admit- they were not the usual bunch of faces that she regularly sees in this joint. Maybe someone was stopping on the way through, that happened every so often. But not enough that it was....common? Yes, you could say common. That word would do until her brain would be able to come up with something else to placate it.

Sicily Hubert

Entering the Fox Hole Tavern, Sicily shook off a bit of rain from her coat before finally taking the hood down from her head and giving a sigh of relief to be indoors. Just the run from her car to the front door was terrible! But she couldn't help herself that she was a child of the sun, of a wonderful breeze and a unset to remember for years- not the rain, the snow, the cold. She knew that Emma was on shift today, but seeing the large amount of cars outside of the Diner made her too nervous to go in for a coffee so she went for the tavern instead. It wasn't nearly as crowded, which meant that she could go in, stay for ten or so minutes having her drink and maybe slink out without being noticed too much.

With her hands around her phone for something to do, she approached the counter by the baked goods display and quietly placed her wallet on the cool surface, taking a glance at the offerings that day whilst playing with her hair, wrapping the braids around her fingers one by one before letting them fall gently against her coat and starting up again- a self soothing gesture that has come up to become a habit since she started styling her hair this way a few years ago.

As her mind continued on with thoughts, she took a glance around before focusing on what she was going to order- a hazelnut cappuccino and a croissant. Easy enough for a quick breakfast since she had slept in today anyway. Honestly, she wanted to be with her class more than anything since the six year old's were less intimidating than the general public in this stupid town. Sicily didn't hate Sanctuary per say.... But she had certainly had her fair share of emotional battles with the citizens over the past few years. She was glad to see that was mostly over...

Honestly I'm going to make the official first post and we can get started. If people wish to join I can figure out how to weave them into the existing storyline.
Captain Marvel

A homebound mission had kept Carol in New York for a few weeks, something that she was less than pleased to be dealing with. Family, am I right? Unfortunate when they decide to visit just when you are planning to leave the galaxy and help a few others for a next few months. Earth had plenty of others to help them with their battles, many other planets and galaxies did not... People forgot that far too often.

"How are things going back at the house?" Carol absently asked, her knee bounding slightly as she sat in the restaurant with her mother, giving a polite smile as her mind began to wander to where she should travel to next and how long it might take. Nothing was exactly close by, it wasn't like heading down to Louisiana for the weekend to take a vacation... And it wasn't like she really had to bring a lot of provisions with her anyway.

"Things are going well sweet pea, everyone misses you though." Her Mom pointed out and Carol chuckled, shaking her head as she adjusted her jacket on her shoulders.

"You know that it's not exactly easy to carve out anything relative to a vacation. I'll lose my mind if I just stay- here. Other places need me just as much as New York. Even though for some reason- everyone wants to try and take over New York." She bitterly chuckled, rolling her eyes at herself before taking a sip of her coffee. She had to admit one thing- other galaxies certainly didn't have coffee. Pointing that once more more helped Marie drop the subject. Carol knew that her mom loved her and just wanted the best, but the best meant being away from home.... A LOT. "I can try to carve out a week or so to come visit soon okay Mom?" she offered and smiled a little, then a little more at the grin it gave her mother knowing that her baby was coming home for a little bit soon. It was the least that she could offer.

But she opened her mouth again before she felt a sensation, something in her gut that was only present for a few seconds before she felt her pager on her hip go off and realized that it was Steve- Captain Rogers. Oh what the heck, she called him Steve all the time. Glancing down, she had a moment of 'how is this ancient technology still working after all this time?' and then remembered that she was an energy source herself, part of the Tesseract must have been fueling this damn thing whenever she was home. Nice to be your own battery every once in a while! But she looked at her hip, then at her mother with an apologetic look on her face.

"Mom..." she started and Marie held up a hand, shaking her head for Carol to say no more.

"Go do what you were born to do honey." She smiled gently and Carol cocked her her, the corner of her mouth turning up.

"Another coffee date soon. Love you Mom, bye." She stood up and took her coffee with her, not wanting to waste the money since it was Starbucks after all, and gave a small wave before exiting the building and taking a quick peek around on the sidewalk to make sure no one was going to be given a heart attack from her taking off before taking a big breath and letting herself rise slowly from the ground.

An short while later, Carol landed on the lawn of the Avengers Mansion, nodding at the now familiar site before finishing off her coffee and walking to the front door. She let herself in from her own key card and walked through the hallways until she found the familiar, and not always comforting room where she found Steve, Jim, and a few other familiar and even some new faces beginning to crowd around. "What is going on here?" She asked, a light and easy cadence to her voice as she tossed her empty cup in the trash and walked over to the hologram in the center of the large conference table. "Calling in all of the big guns, or just me?" She teased a little as her eyes fell on the new faces one by one, taking them in.

"Coffee, alongside an egg and pig special, got it." She smiled, writing down his order before turning to Jacob with a big smile. She never minded whenever officers came in to eat, it was here, the tavern or their own kitchens and she never faulted people for not wanting to cook in their own homes sometimes- gives her family income and that was what mattered.

"Mornin' Emma. Hope you've had a better morning than me....I'll have the eggs and bacon, with some water, Emma, thanks."

"And good morning Jacob, I did have a pretty good morning thank you! I can get that going right away for you. Be right back with your drinks gentleman." She nodded and turned on her heel, briskly walking over to the kitchen to hang up the ticket in the window before beginning to get their drinks going. At least it was a simple order, cup of joe and a water. Glancing up, she noticed the women chatting away among themselves, and the loner at the bar that she had served just a few minutes before, making a mental note to slip her a muffin or something to brighten her day.

"Two seconds ladies, let me just run these drinks." She paused for a moment to address them all before continuing on her way to the officers, giving them their respective drinks and Jacob a straw before heading back over. She took a deep breath, finally slowing down for a few seconds as she looked at each woman for a moment, trying to decide who was going to her her attention first. "Alright, who's hungrier, I can take your order first." She chuckled, smiling to herself a little for the joke- she at least thought that it was funny.

There was a lot going on this morning in this café. Cops were here, and to be honest Nicky was a little surprised that there even were any cops in a town this size. But everyone needs a little order now and then... She was doing her best to just blend in- not draw any attention to herself this morning even though her hair and nose ring did that for her whenever she went to the grocery store. Like what did she ever do to that grandma a few days ago anyway!

But she shook her head and looked at the menu a little more, now just staring at it blankly, listening to the slight chaos going on aroudn her, something so different from how she grew up. But that kind of life seemed like it was years ago when it was just a few weeks ago before picking everything up and moving- here. Her Aunt just hadto live....here. "Thanks Auntie..." she sighed to herself, her spoon absently mixing her coffee as she began to become a little lost in thought.

Editing right now!! Thanks! @Martian
*bump*

Looking for one or two more people to get this baby going!!!
Real Name: Carol Danvers

Codename: Captain Marvel (Also Ace, Warbird)

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Personality: Bold, stubborn to a fault and incredibly honest. Carol prefers to push the boundaries slightly before reigning it in and choosing a different path to go down. After going through a slight identity crisis after realizing that she had powers and was part Kree, she realized her path in life while going through the universe, protecting those that are unable to protect themselves since Earth already had the mighty Avengers.

Powers/Abilities: Flight, energy blasters (From hands), super strength, superhuman durability

History: Carol always had a vision of flying through the air, at the helm, and in control. Unforutantely when she had that dream, women working in the United States Air Force wasn't exactly common, and those who did weren't exactly accepted. It was incredibly hard, working her way through the ranks, through the hazing, and through the constant questions from everyone except her mentor and her best friend. Those two were the only ones that saw Carol for who she was- a fighter.

As her time with the USAF continued, things got a little easier until one specific mission with her mentor that ended in a life changing event. Thanks to an unexpected crash, and explosion, a mystery energy source transformed Carol into a half half human, half alien race hybrid of a being. Now she had abilities that were- extraordinary to say the least! She was half Kree, giving her amazing super strength and an ability to be incredibly durable in a dangerous situation. But she also gained the ability to fly and throw energy blasts from her fists thanks to the Tesseract. Now she knew what it was, and what it was, and what it did to her.

Next came her introduction to S.H.I.E.L.D., and to Nick Fury who helped her through a transition of sorts, and in his own way of course. Let's just say that they mutually helped each other figure some things out before Carol realized that Earth was going to be left in good hands, and she needed to help those that were far less fortunate around the universe. And that she did- being sure to stop home every few years to cure a rare case of being a little homesick.

Supporting Cast: Captain America: After the evolution of The Avengers and her ongoing friendship with Nick Fury, Carol realized that she probably should befriend the behemoth in red, white and blue. After realizing that they had more than expected in common, an unlikely friendship formed between Carol and Steve. The Avengers: Steve introduced Carol to the rest of the gang and she did not hit it off with everyone- a bit of a personality clash to be honest. But after helping them more than once, they realized that she had more information and wisdom to give them that they realized and gained a new intergalactic friend. The Falcon + Bucky: This was an unlikely pairing, but since they knew Steve well, she tended to drop in every so often to see how the interesting duo was holding up and to playfully trash talk one to the other. Plus she always thought the arm was pretty cool. Marie Danvers (mom): Mom. Mother. Marie was always her biggest cheerleader and someone that Carol leaned on for advice, even from another universe. She always talked about her mother with a small smile on her face, knowing that one day she would outlive her, and everyone else that she held dear.

Extra/Notes: Her haircut resembles the one that she has in Avengers Endgame more than the longer style in the comics.
