Pokemon: Life [Always Open]

It is beautiful indeed... Wolfenheim thought as he gazed out the window longingly. He remember when he was a kid, he'd wanted to someday visit pallet town. Back before he'd decided to be a Pokemon ranger. He'd heard stories, saw shows, bought merchandise of the legendary Ash Ketchum. The guy who'd traveled the whole region and beat the elite four- and at an impressive age to boot. He'd always wanted to visit Ketchum's hometown.

Seeing it now, it was smaller than nostalgia let on. But that didn't make it any less awe-inspiring. That such a legend could derive from a humble place like Pallet Town.

Soon, Marie's Ninetales would set the pace for them as the train made its slow halt at the station, making her way to the door, before ushering them over.

Wolf didn't want to get up. One, because these seats were really comfy for a train. And two...because he was more nervous than he let on. This would be almost like a whole new world to him, despite the feeling he gave off outwardly. Though, someone observant enough could see the hesitation in his eyes. And Nove could feel it.

The Pokemon stood in front of him. She gripped his wrists with her webbed hands and pulled his arms until he begrudgingly stood in front of his seat. She gave him a hug, then turning towards the front of the train and waddling after Ninetales and Marie, leaving Clive to gather his bag and follow suit shortly after.

He would follow the rest of their group off the train, looking around at their surroundings as they did so. "It's just like I remembered from the books.." he mumbled to himself. To anyone who didn't know what Pallet Town meant to the young trainers to come after Ash Ketchum, the town wouldn't be impressive at all. But to him, it was almost description-less the energy the place fed into his very core. He felt like he could travel the whole region in a night- if he could walk that fast.

Some months after having Kaisoken dust injected into his bloodstream, Reisus discovered maroon crystals beginning to sprout from his back. Apparently something in his body didn't accept the energy quite the same as others. As a result, his clothes are tailored to compensate for this fact. Additionally, when Reisus uses his magic, these crystals will begin to glow dimly.
It should go without say that these crystals do draw some attention, and at times are uncomfortable.

Body- Well-Toned

Important items:

Omni-Tool: Reisus' Omni-tool is visually very similar to a handheld phone. Mainly used for data access and recording, it can also be used for hacking/disabling if the process is simple enough, among other things.
Credits: A small amount of credits from previously collected bounties, tasks, etc.
Coilgun Pistol: Reisus knows how to use this simple weapon with efficiency, but not beyond them limits one normally could.

Reisus' Combat Suit:

Armor

Because of the crystalline structures on his back, Reisus has a hard time fitting into most un-tailored clothes or armor. This protective device was engineered to remedy that. It is infused with a special material that allows magically-infused entities to move through it with ease. As such, he can wear it comfortably and the crystals jut through the back of it, like usual.
Note: This material provides no protection against magic, but it is very durable, lightweight, and tough on a physical scale.

This suit has a spot designed to hold his Omni-tool and protect it from outside forces while keeping it accessible. Additionally, there are small compartments spread throughout the armor.

One of the main features of this device is the rocket thrusters scattered throughout its design. Two especially powerful ones on each arm allow for impressive maneuverability when combined with Reisus' magic.

Short Bio:

Not much is known about Reisus' childhood, and those who dare to ask usually receive a curt response: "Rough". He spent most of it without parental guidance, and as such, got into a lot of trouble. He worked his way up the lawbreaking branch until he decided to leave that path, instead foregoing it for another one of...questionable legality. His new lifestyle involved hunting down humans and either killing them, or taking them in to whoever could pay the bounty. But he was greedy back then. And he found a way to rake in the profits. He reached out to the Ascendancy who infused his blood with Kaisoken dust, in exchange for a contract. He would work for them in hunting down Kaisoken for their materials, as well as anyone else they told him to snuff out.

When he discovered what the Kaisoken dust was being collected for, despite his rough mentality, he was horrified. He was helping torture children. He immediately broke his contract with the Ascendancy and fled. They tried to track him down, but he knew the nearby planets all too well, and was able to hide. Now, though, he is part of Natasha's crew. And he seeks to get vengeance for the children- and in the same instance- wash his hands of their blood.

Spell List:

Graviton Touch [World] - Reisus is able to alter the affect gravity has upon an entity when he touches it. He can make it effectively lighter or heavier, make it take on its own gravity field to draw or repel things, etc.

Displacement Vessel [Timespace] - Reisus can create entities that are essentially portals. They are relatively small, being at most around two feet by two feet, though commonly taking an elliptical shape. The average portal does not interact with the world around it unless interacted with by one of the open paths on either side of its two-dimensional shape. Touching borders negates any usage.
Reisus can create the portals only within his line of site, and can only create them in pairs.

Balancing

To balance this a little more, Reisus can create the first portal of the pair anywhere within his line of sight, but the second portal must be outside of a five foot radius of an hostile/opposing presence, or anyone he plans to harm.

Note- The two above spells can combine to create Reisus' "Blackhole Technique".

Crystalline Recreation [High] - By storing magical energy from destructed spells(via his Blackhole Technique), Reisus can change the pure magical energy into crystals. These crystals are visibly identical to normal crystals, though normally much larger. What makes them special is their resistance to magic. They conduct magic at a very slow rate, meaning you'd have a much easier time breaking them with physical forces. Additionally, when sprouting these crystals, it is much more effective to do so from surfaces that have many raw materials in them- such as the ground. The same is said for surfaces that are rich in magical energies. Surfaces such as pure steel(or some other similar material) will be harder for Reisus to use.

Exceptional Skills List:

Exceptional Unarmed x1 - Due to his armor, Reisus doesn't have much use for armed combat styles. He can take down opponents just as effectively- and often more so- than armed combatants.

Exceptional Awareness x1 - Reisus is especially aware of his surroundings, making him a superior guerrilla fighter. This also allows him increased reactions, among other mental acuities.

Exceptional Mentality x1 - Having spent years hunting down and killing other creatures, Humans and Kaisoken among them, Reisus has learned to harden his mind to outside influence. Guilt and other negative factors rarely weigh down on his conscious, and it's harder to change his mind by force.

So, hello other folks :P I hope nobody minds me attempting to spark up some conversation.

What do you peoples think of the other characters that were accepted? Possible dynamics, perhaps?
Powers wise, personality wise, or both maybe >.>

When it comes to what stands out between Khall and other characters, I see a few things.
For one, Agnes will probably not be his favorite individual xD
She likes to "Jam" and generally be loud, from what I read. Not to mention the fact that she makes light. Poor Khall!

Then there's the real sound-maker. Aside from her power, I think Khall and Ellie could get along. Considering they're both not very popular there could be something. But Khall isn't the best at showing who he likes, usually. So maybe not.

When it comes to Michael, it's social anxiety vs. plain preference to do his own thing. Maybe they could hit it off, but then again maybe not. His personality, and his power, are nice and quiet, though. :3

As for Eli, I think Khall would somewhat admire his stubbornness, which they share, and his overall attitude. Eli having his own moral code is a big plus for the other, and his tendency to help others instead of hiding it behind a mask is also not a negative.

As for Jess, I think it almost splits even, maybe leaning towards the positive side. Her being happy/charismatic is something that's easy to follow, so that's a positive. And a sharp tongue usually comes with comedic side affects, and he does enjoy a good laugh. Not to mention...she can make rain! Which Khall loves.

That is all my thoughts at the top of my head, in terms of Khall + Someone else. >.>

Appearance: Khall wears the typical garments of a teen in high school; T-shirts, Jeans(possibly tattered), Hoodies, Sneakers, etc. He also tends to adopt a dark color pallet- black, gray, and other darker tones. His hair is not normally kept, which he doesn't mind because it looks fine as-is, which is even more true after the change, as it is usually ruffled by him wearing his hood up. He also adopts the usage of sunglasses over his gray eyes, and wears earbuds almost constantly.
Khall is 5'11" and weighs in at 170lbs. His skin tone is of average for someone of Korean descent.

Personality Traits: Distant, Stubborn, Blunt-at-times --- Stern, Analytical, Competitive

Personality: Khall is not a social lad. He tends to normally keep quiet unless spoken to. When he does speak however, he's straightforward and doesn't pull his punches. He will almost always follow someone else unless he's certain it will lead to failure. However, after you break past the quiet shell, and then the slightly-thorny one, he's compassionate. He's just not the best at showing it.

Ability: -- Opinokinesis -- Khall is capable of depriving people of their senses. When he is about to use this power, an array of wispy, floating, 2D eyes appear just above the surface of his skin(if he so chooses); one on the forehead, and one on each palm. He comes to call these black and purple appendages the "Eyes of Justice"(EoJ)s. When Khall looks at someone with his normal sight, he can deprive them of two of their senses for as long as he looks at them. When he looks at someone with his extra eyes, he can deprive them of one sense besides sight. If he looks at them with two of his "EoJ"s, he can deprive them of their sight.

Limitations: Khall's power somehow makes his senses very sensitive. His eyes are very sensitive to light, his ears to sound, his pallet to tastes, etc.
Additionally, his EoJ's only affect people who's faces are at least ~40% visible to him. Sunglasses and some goggles also usually negate his EoJs.

Background: Khall's life before being chosen was what some might call uneventful, but he was happy. He lived at home with his loving parents, and his little brother, Nickel, who is five. He spent most of his time playing video games or basketball, or going to hang out with his small group of friends. And yes, it was a small group, as he's what some call "shut in".

When he was one day randomly called to the main office for some kind of program, he was curious, confused, and somewhat worried. It soon donned upon him how right he was to be frightened. Him and five other students were gestured...herded rather, away from their families. They were deposited into a new facility- which was this "university".

When the six of them were herded into a room where they were subjected to breathing in a body-wracking, painful gas, there was a moment where Khall thought he had went blind. After the pain had started to subside and he opened his eyes, all he could see was white. He groped at air around him, unable to produce any words from the shock. No...no..no! I CAN'T SEE!, but he couldn't speak.

Then he saw movement. He realized his eyes were adjusting to the light. And it hurt. From then on, he felt everything different. Including the migraines. When they'd discovered what his power was, he found it somewhat ironic. And horrifying.

But somehow, him and the other five had come up with an escape plan. And it had worked. Now they were out in the world, on the run, against an evil government. What had he gotten into...
