Chie listened to Tony silently, quietly seething in her own festering frustrations. While the others had been introducing one another she tried her best to regain her composure, even as Ashe ignored the request to apologize and continued to be a nuisance, even as everyone disregarded the giant monster that was no longer towering over her. She just assumed this was normal in the world of super heroes. She would have to get use to it.
Micheal seemed nice, reminded her of Niel in his shy awkwardness. The others had yet to give her as intense of a first impression, though the kid and Melissa seemed nice enough. When Micheal brought the topic back to her, she was finally catching her breath. She seemed staggered anyone would even want to know about her, let alone ask directly, amongst this group she was rapidly becoming the most mundane member of this motley crew.
"Me? I said before, I am Shuriken." She responded vaguely. A stern look from Stark was enough to make her crumble, his speech hadn't been lost on her. Still it took her a moment to weigh her options. Did she really want the jail bait trickster to know her secret? Reluctantly, she decided to do as she was told. She had come this far, why stop over an uncomfortable question.
"But, uh, my real name is Chie. Chie Jordan, just don't go throwing that around. If my parents found out I was here they would ground me for life" She said sheepishly.
"She was an Agent of Shield, and some day I want to be one too! Not so sure how she'd feel about it though..." She admitted, and to her surprise it was a relief to get this all off her chest. Maybe Stark was right, these secrets were distracting her from getting close to the others.
"It's, uh, a pleasure to meet you all. Sorry I screamed at Viral earlier. If he can hear me, let him know I thought he was pretty impressive, hehehe" She relented, rubbing her nape bashfully. Nervous laughter followed suite, feeling their eyes on her made her feel how little she actually had to contribute.
"Um. Not a lot else to say. Just a girl fresh out of high school with a passion for kicking criminal butts. I ran cross country for school, that's how I managed to run the stairs" Her words made her physically cringe in regret. She sounded like she was trying to be cool and mysterious. In reality she wasn't sure there was anything impressive to boast about.
"What about you, Kid? We haven't let you speak up yet" She added quickly, in a desperate attempt to turn attention away from herself. She pointed towards Sai, the only 'kid' in the room.
