Liam was beginning to feel awkward being there in the middle of this discussion.
"Yeah, but all it took to unnerve Misty was show her a Caterpie," Liam replied. "Well, should we get going?"
In a similar fashion of a gym leader that specialised in the same type of Pokémon as Nessa, Shiranui grabbed Chuck by the ear and dragged him aside, interjecting, "Cool it, ice man. Keep your eyes on the Challenge."
Liam chuckled to himself as he was about to do the very same thing as Shiranui did. He walked over to take Chuck from Shiranui so that he could go first
"I guess the only question now is who goes first this time?"
"I didn't think he was so round though. That suit must be really slimming." Chuck said. "Anywho, we should probably head for the Gym, don't want to keep him waiting too long."
"You're probably right," Liam said. "The sooner we get it done, the better".
Rose then attempted to subtlely walk away but he was still easily recognizable and still had crowds following him.

Rose saw the heroes and came over to them. He told them to come see him at a particular restaurant after beating Nessa.
It wasn't too far into town that Liam spotted a very poorly disguised Chairman Rose, along with his assistant, Olena who was not disguised. Liam leaned over to Shiranui. "Doesn't everyone know she's Rose's assistant? Shouldn't she be disguised as well? I mean, even the Rockets we deal with use better disguises than what Rose has on. But I feel that since she didn't Rose shouldn't have bothered."
"Of course, I might be fine with my two Applin and maybe Balin"
