I'm pretty sure that's a shadow demon if I ever saw one :P

@Emuxe as Skye (NPC)

"Aaarrrghh~" Nyle said loudly as he yawned before stretching and messing up the sheets of the bed as he looked to the sides of his bed and sighed when he saw neither of his partners from last night had slept in. The pretty girl was a hard catch and took some convincing to take her away from her friends before he could serenade her into his room. Of course, her boyfriend was furious at his attempts but with her trying to convince him and Nyle's own openness and careful sprinkle of flirtatious remarks got the handsome lad to join as well. It wasn't surprising that both of them didn't stay as they would have left together along with being a tad sore from the night's activities but it didn't matter to him. He was accustomed to having these dalliances with people that he met and was charmed by their appearances, of course, looks didn't go far for a relationship but for a single night was fine for each party. Nyle himself wasn't too bad from what he heard from the various people that he had taken into the night.

Getting up from the bed as he scrambled the rouge thoughts away as he looked around for his discarded clothes to toss on but decided against it, and searched for his bag that he hid. Reaching underneath the bed, he plucked it from its hiding space and looked through the clothes that he carried with him before finally choosing something to put on his bare form. Once he was done, he placed the bag once again in its spot, making sure not to hit his sword underneath there or his instrument case, before he exited his room and prepared to be bombarded with the patrons of Skye's inn.

Reaching out into the area where the smell of booze and noise of people talking in various levels was already prominent at this time of day. His eyes went out searching for Skye, who was the woman who ran the establishment and the person who rented out the room that he was currently staying in for a few nights. She was also kind enough to allow someone like him to play during some of the hours last night before he had caught his two fish from the sea. Remembering the requests that the patron themselves asked, which he played quite well considering his predicament in the city. Nyle always left Wellborough to be the first and last place to visit due to its ability to snuffle out magic which included his supernatural sensitivity to music. It to be quite honest it was disturbing not having the constant notes drifting in his head or a song sprung from nowhere- it was deathly silent in his mind. His unease within the city only grew as he got older, with the connection he had with that part of him growing so strong that he was almost barren without it. He was lucky that he had practice drilled into his very being that he could play marvelously without it but seemed to severely lack something that Nyle knew was missing.

Despite his unease with the city and his lack of abilities, he didn't show it while he was in the presence of other people as it wasn't a concern of there to be worried about. He would be fine without it and eventually get it back once he left town, that was how it always had been with Wellsborough. Eventually, he found his target as he saw Skye and motioned at her with a friendly smile as he approached her "Hey Skye, morning" He greeted her sheepishly with a joke as he came from his room before continuing his sentence "It seems like business it going well, look at everyone!" He commented with all the people in her inn were already getting ready for the night ahead and even starting early. His eyes scanned quickly among the small crowd before he waved to a patron who responded back, he remembered them last night as he was one of those who requested a song. " Anyways, do you have anything new on the board today if you don't mind me askin'?" He asked curiously as he asked her if she had any new requests had come in. While he was a musician, his physical abilities were something notable as well that could be offered and used in many cases. However, if nothing new was up then he would simply take the spot of playing in the inn again if Skye didn't mind.

@Gowi

I have been at work with my character but totally forgot to ask. Are there gods that classes who focus on them (like priests, clerics, paladins, etc) are able to follow or is there only one singular god? Or does it operate on a whole different system, with simply priests and clerics using magic specifically for healing and doesn't have gods? If you get the trend, I'm just curious about the status of religion in Pariah.

< Also, if there are gods, is magic from religious classes (priests, clerics, paladins) considered divine magic as the proper terminology or what would you call it?>

She blinked once, then twice, before she tilted her head a little sideways as a little paper airplane landed onto her floor. Looking at the big blocks of letters that were the only thing prominent since there was nothing else when she looked at the two sides of the paper. Sighing as she rubbed her head and pondered about the invitation... 'Cake, hmm?' Mako thought silently about the idea of heading to their place, not for the food but simply to do something. Business has been slow and even back at home, at least she had priests to play tricks on or her partner to annoy but here... It was empty, to say the least. Standing up from the mats that laid on the floor, she looked at the piece of paper and folded it up before she decided to make the journey to the Cafe. No use hiding when you're already found out, right?

Mako looked at her temple before she waved the signal as her stone shikigamis were issued a new command and continued their diligent watch while she began walking down the steps to the park. With each step down the stairs, she changed and piece by piece as she hid her prominent features such as her ears and tails along with giving herself a new outfit more casual than the clothes she was wearing right now. She also made plans for her little birdies in the city to head over toward the Old Industrial District to scout ahead for those Yellow Jackets who will be taken out sooner or later. Satisfied with the preparations that she made, she eventually hitched a ride from a cab that drove her more or less in the general area of the Cafe as she made her way there. Looking at the shops as she passed by them, most of them were closed as to be expected at this time of day but there was one of the few who was still running.

She was startled for a moment, as the Cafe's door was slammed open as an ambitious Chaser quickly check himself over before running in the opposite direction of Mako herself. Looking at the boy before inside, she silently signaled the bird who had been spying at the shop earlier to sit upon her shoulder now that it was visible as she entered in. Upon entering, she took a glance at everyone as she recognized them from earlier when she was spying on them and didn't feel the need to introduce herself, more or less. However, she didn't mind shaking things up a little bit, she did come here because it was boring back at her place. "I'd like to redeem a coupon..." Mako said dully when she approached the counter and placed down the message she had received earlier and unfolded to reveal its contents more or less aimed for whoever was going to serve her. The piece of paper itself should be viable for a piece of cake like it advertised, so might as well... After setting the piece of paper down, she let her eyes drift once more around the Cafe, now that she was there in person. It took her a few moments to locate Ellie and Aria who were the two figures of power inside this Cafe and Chikage had already left it seemed.

She tapped her fingers on the counter as she watched another one of the Chasers pick up another contract from the board. They were a new sight who must've recently gotten here when she wasn't spying on them. However, her attention quickly was removed from them as she eyed, the board and looked back at Ellie and shifted her eyes to Aria, "I would also like to take on the first mission, if you don't mind" she said plainly without concern over about the answer or if a serving of cake was already at her spot or not, before going over to the board and grabbing the sheet of paper before heading back to the table. Reading its contents back at the stool she had at the counter, she would leave in a minute or two after finishing up business here. Her little birdies should have reached the area now and be recording anything they have seen, to give her a lead on where to tackle first...

@DeadlyPhoenix
How experienced are our character? I would assume that were are above 'level one' and the normal npc so that we have some personal experience fighting for us to even consider trying to chase the bounty on the orcs.

In my case, The wizard I have, has been on his little dalliance for about 5 years doing simple caravan escorting, protecting the villages from wildlife or monsters and the occasional raiding a place to drive wildlife or bandits out with a party of people who have retired. The jobs are low-tiered and thus aren't expected to award much but enough to support a lifestyle of rinsing and repeating. Repetition of such a thing means he's can be debated to be the appropriate level but have plenty of experience as an adventurer/mercenary/whatever for small scale things like this. In essence of DnD, he'd be a notable npc who has levels but not the main protagonist (after 5 years of adventuring for anyone in the main story line has to be doing dragons or something similar of a grand quest).

I might tone him down a bit, but I just wanted to know the general level of power our character are wanted to be at so I can calculate properly.

@Emuxe
Oops, my eyes just gazed over then and just assumed one of the few options that could have been placed in there. Apparently, blood type came to me first before body type, Hahaha~ Besides that, all is changed and I placed in a short description of how Nyle's family have been representatives for many generations through political scheming but didn't go much into details. Outside of that, he's posted! Thank you for accepting him!
@Emuxe
Stuck on the side of the road, what for? (car broken down, I assume?)

( @Grey as Berserker / Roland ) ( @vancexentan as Saber, Leon , & Overseer Assistant ) ( @Loki Odinson as Caster / Zhuge Liang )

Taking a deep breathe in before he let it all out in an instant. "Alright if that's everything we are going to do in here." Jonathan said out aloud with an expecting look on his face to no one in general "Then I'm gonna take my leave, okay?" Before he stood up from his bench and gave a small little stretch to the left and then to the right before taking a glance at everyone once more. There was nothing else important here besides making up the teams and frankly he doubt that was going to happen anytime soon unless someone started it, but after that, he would leave as it seems this meeting had worn itself out.

With a playful glint in his eyes and smile that seemed to be more fun than simple business or politeness, Jonathan approached Leon as he pulled out two pieces of paper like a card and marked both of their fronts and backs before extending the glowing card to Leon. If he did decide to do anything with the card, it would read Jonathan's number and then underneath it 'Would you like to team up with me?' on the front side of the card. On the back side, was the 'ᚷ', 'ᚲ', 'M', and 'ᚨ' runes placed on there but to the untrained eyes of those who were from the Mage's Association or other Thaumaturgy Theory besides his was simply decorations but made sure to keep the front side facing him and away from everyone as well. It had been activated upon Jonathan extending it to Leon and was obviously active but its effects were unknown to him unless he accepted it. However, a strong feeling was induced from Leon upon the extension of such a gift, from a cheery person like Jonathan himself who made it, was hard to refuse but was free to decline it if he didn't mind the guilt. But even beyond that, there was a general feeling from Jonathan and the magic itself that it wasn't sinister or misleading but something that might be of interest if he accepted it.

Looking a bit drained as if the meeting at the cathedral had taken a bit of him, Jonathan seemed to perk up once after exhaling as if stress seemingly melted away "If you want to team up, well... Here you go. I doubt anyone will be more direct or..." He took a quick and almost unnoticeable glance to the other Master from top to bottom before saying that flowed smoothly into the conversation naturally "this 'friendly' for the rest of the war." Jonathan told him before flashing him a smile and gave him a friendly wink before turning heels. The notion that Jonathan gave was definitely questionable but if Leon was holding the card and had accepted the contract then a vague sense of... 'sensual wanting' could be felt on his side coming from the card but little else except maybe for a hint of... fatigue? Either way, it wasn't long enough before such mental thoughts were blasted away by Jonathan's own cheerful tone.

"Alright then... Adios amigos, hasta luego si?" Jonathan replied strangely which was clearly Spanish but to a native speaker was some half-assed and disappointing jumble of words but Jonathan knew that. However, they were some of the most common phrases that shouldn't pass anyone by hopefully even if they didn't learn Spanish, it was prominent enough in social media and culture to understand. Either way, after that Jonathan clearly made his way out the door taking a glance at everyone that he went by. The first on his way was Togami 'Ugh, even my mind has had enough of the prep boy (Togami) for today and his constant complaints. I don't even have anything to say for the time in the church where he didn't complain' He told Caster on the mental link as he almost forgot he had someone to listen to his lonely ranting, poor him. Then there was the Overseer 'Man how does the Overseer stand this, I bet you he's been meaning to yell multiple times at everyone to shut up and be respectful, which is respectful but please the meeting should've ended a while ago.' He said to Caster before making his way down the rows to the other Masters that were there.

'Ah- its Glasses (Brynhilda)! I hope she was on the same page as me when I rolled my eyes when Togami and the squid boy (Albert) were fighting, I know I was.' He tossed into the mental shute which was sure to have annoyed Caster by how talkative his Master surprisingly was when judging people by their covers, it was a skill honed through years of training as Jonathan calls it himself. 'Also was it me or did that boy say during his garbled nonsense Cthulu? I'm pretty sure my occult savviness and selective hearing hear that' Jonathan curiously remarked as he knew the mental link with Caster was indefinitely open so that the two could let the strings of mental conversation and whatever else they heard, felt, and etc flow through. It wouldn't be surprising if Caster had completely ignored the prayer the other Master made when Jonathan himself seemed to run the communication line burnt. 'The Lovebirds (Anima and James) seems to be ahead of the game, having each other...' Jonathan commented seemingly too tired to make a snarky remark about them after the stressful spell he just cast only a moment ago or at least that was the excuse he had...

Finally, he made his way to the front door and remembered to pick up his shoes, it was Japanese tradition after all and made his way outside the church. He conveyed the action simply to Caster as he was beginning to leave the Church as he observed the snowy city of Fuyuki. Looking around, he saw the guard (Lancelot) earlier now will some snow on his physical form as Jonathan came very loudly and looked at him. "Man..." Jonathan sighed looking at him as he rubbed his head and sighed before friendly brushing off the snow off his black coat which contrasted with the white snow flurries. "I swear it's like you're trying to get yourself sick. I assume the Church would give you sick days to compensate right?" Jonathan said to disguised Saber as he truly was the first time he was naive enough to be tricked, blended in as if he belonged more or less that his status as a Servant went unnoticed from his Master senses. Leaning against the wall as he looked at the other servant who clearly was a Servant from her blackened armor. "I assume nobody wants to come out and greet themselves?" He said to the Knight (Roland) who he had heard earlier in the Church and was surprised by their bluntness. "I agree, this whole thing is too much Cloak and Daggers for me" As he sighed before letting the snow bury him in a few centimeter. 'Caster shall I come to you or you come to me? I'm terribly tired from what happened inside' Jonathan said as he tossed it to Caster and waited for his response, he had all the time to burn here.

There was also the Overseer's assistant next to the guard who were waiting for any stray Masters but that wasn't likely. "Hey, what you guys usually do during this whole thing when you are not setting up meetings with us? Of course, that's if you're able to say anything about it or well... anything really. I just wonder what you guys are doing when everyone else is scrambling to pitch everyone's head on a pole. With seventeen of us, it's only going to be longer than usual." He asked the Overseer's assistant and the guard, he wasn't too concerned who gave out the answer. He himself was much tired than expected from the mass execution of his magical abilities as the two mystic codes he created was draining from him, maybe a quick nap once Caster decides to take him home.
